Thanks Hajji Muftau for facilitating the digging out of this guy. Yes he has committed to finishing the work by next week. He confirmed that he abandoned the work because the project sum we agreed to could not finish the work. He could have come back to me and plead his case instead of abandoning the project. Has Hajji mentioned we came to an agreement for a variation in project sum and he is committed to completing the job by end of next week.
I will keep you all posted if he does not come through on his commitment.

This is not an excuse in my opinion, you cant abandoned the job just because price raise along the way. When he did that what did think will happen to his repetition? even with his repentance, his name as been stain. I don't understand why most of these young guys act as if they are senseless.

The problem with anything wireless is that they are highly vulnerable to spyware hacking. Cellphones and PCs etc have counter-measures, but not home gadgets.
So like everything else, ur trading this for that.
One rule of thumb is, the more affluent u get, the less wireless you should go.

By the way, pls take note that DSS censor high end monitoring devices (like CCTV) entering Nigeria.
It is also a punishable offence if you have CCTV , electric fence, guard dogs, etc without a visible warning sign.

was close to 1m, that is what I call trust because he knows I will never run away with his money, but I paid him
some money upfront because I know he will need to buy materials and gave him the balance when the job was
completed.
@Aventures used some of his money when I was doing my decking, not that I don't have the money but because
he trusted me and was well paid in the end.
I never start a stage on my build without having enough to do the job.
There are still good people around... we just need to find them. And Yes, even in Nigeria.

I have deliver to a site where the Engineer on site told me to drop 100bags of cements and directing me to take the other(200) to his order site, I called the client, informed him that is the end of his contract with the client.

I am not paid before the delivery, am also protecting my money, same time i do not know who is acting as client on site, so i have to be careful, becos the client i do not know from Adam.

I supervise a Building(8units of 2Bdroom) Gbadexy did the Painting, Client used divided and rule alltru the Project. I was supplying materials, supervising the Engineer and making all payment.

That is the name of the game, divide and rule. I did two project in 2years, I never spent 10 minutes on either site till now. 1 is 90 percent done, the other is @ 70 percent. Many of the workers never saw me or will ever know who I Was. Everything was done on phone and whattup that is power of technology for you. Make used of it for right purposes.
