I want to use 3watts spotlight for pop in the parlor but electrician is saying it won't be good cos it will be looking like a hotel 🙄🙄🙄that I should use 6watts instead.. Total pop lighting points in the parlor is 24 and 6 wall brackets... Please what is your opinion on this?

How much do you guys spend on a solid soakaway please. I have spent about 800k on mine (material and workmanship) and I'm wondering if it's the norm or the engineer is just being wasteful.

Not necessarily, I spent only about 200k or less to have steady water from my shallow 40 foot well, clean water for 7 months in every year. That's the one most people use in Enugu. When you see people doing this deep manual type, then it must be for a residential house. I have also seen single families do this deep type in my neighborhood.

Federal Minimum wage on paper is $7.5/hour but I have never seen anybody who makes such. The least I have seen is #13/ hour.
And most people work 40 hours in a week. So you have $520 a week times 4 weeks which is about $2080 a month, less tax.
And yes, I know all these, $2080 ( #1.58m) is bigger than #30k ( $40) a month.

Even with that, the $200 a month home internet in the US is 10% of their minimum wage a month while a #20k monthly internet would only be an equivalent of 10% of #200k.
Most people, including self employed in Nigeria make more than that amount in a month.

Oga BrickDevo you would have giving some days like 2weeks before bringing the matter here. The time is too short anyway. Thank God you even have his nairaland username, I have done MEP drawings for a client on this forum and decided not to pay one kobo . I printed the drawings, stamp with Coren seal, bind everything together and handed over all the drawings to him including the PDF. He sent somebody to come and collect it and promised to transfer my money immediately he received the hardcopy. Since last year July the man did not pick my calls again and he also block my all numbers. He is from Nairaland and i don't know his username.

I am sure the money in question here isn't up to 100k or even 50k but if I caught a client like that, he will pay 200k and be begging for septic tank details, that's the difference. We are street and hood, in my drawing days I could gross 500k monthly. Like I said, count your loss and move on, stop responding to them pls.

Inheritance lands can be verified either through a Will or a Letter of administration showing who the new beneficiaries of the land are. If there is no will or letter of administration, it can be verified through local knowledge of all the interested parties connected with the land confirming ownership of the land verbally.

For example in Yoruba lands, everyone is entitled to their own portion of land individually and covered under the general family name. You could have 20 plots of land belonging to a Balogun Family and 3 plots could belong to Kunle, 5 plots to Segun, 2 Plots to Nike, 4 Plots to Kamoru, 1 Plot to Gbenga, 2 Plots to Demola, and 3 Plots to Afeez.

All these 20 plots belong to the Balogun Family and each member has their own individual number of plots allocated to them and every member of the family knows the location of each other's land and the amount of land they own.

If Segun now decides to sell 2 out of his 5 plots allocated to him, all the other family members must be in the know that 2 out of his lands are going to be sold to a stranger so that there won't be any issues tomorrow.

Segun is not obliged to share money with them but he must inform them and in most situations to give comfort to the new buyer of Segun's lands, all the remaining members of the Balogun family would act as signatories to sign the deed of assignment for the new buyer to ratify the transaction,

These are some of the little steps one can take to verify a land if there is no existing paper work or inheritance.

If he checks the drawing it's just 3-16mm both top and bottom , who does that .. the areas needing 20mm I didn't put it. He even asked for an open roof terraced at the top of the building, I did it on the second drawing which is not on the one I sent
So it's a WIN-WIN

He even wanted a staircase outside the building but the one he has is the first one with the staircase inside and the dinning mirrored on the wrong side hahahaha
