Exmilitant:I’ll help you...Buhari, Buhari and Boko haram are all the same. It’s a vicious triangle or a bad trinity. Buhari + Buratai + Boko haram = Miyetti Allah + Matawalle. They are all the same. |
I received the news with mixed feelings. Such security outfit is long overdue. I had expected that South East governors and politicians would come together and establish similar organisation but they seem to lack the willpower to do that. For Nnamdi Kanu to have achieved this despite being away from Nigeria and also following the Wike/Oyingbo issues is incredible. Just when his rating fell to an all time low and moral lost amongst his followers when Wike, Nigerian Army and Ekeocha were abducting and killing suspected IPOB members, he pulled a rabbit out of the hat. It’s amazing. Kanu and ESN will get lots of support from lots of Igbos....but ESN will encounter unimaginable problems. Nigeria Army will deal with them. They will be treated as an illegal and terrorist outfit camouflaging as a security organisation. South East politicians will distance themselves. Any public figure who supports them will be blacklisted. It won’t be easy for ESN....it’s a double edged sword. Politicians will not recognise them but this is where the millions of Igbo masses will have problems with such individuals. It might either stir up something massive or it’ll end badly. |
NewDelhi:My friend, leave Fela alone. You don’t understand music. Lagbaja is too small to tie Fela’s shoe laces. He is not even fit to wash Fela’s sweaty towels. |
NewDelhi:It’s sacrilege to compare Lagbaja to Fela. It’s like comparing Cole, Osofisan and Okri to Wole Soyinka or comparing Adichie, Emecheta and Chukwuemeka Ike to Achebe. Stop that nonsense. Respect the legend. Fela no get mate. He operated on a different level. Even Lagbaja would swear and curse on you for even disrespecting the name Fela. |

Nazgul:The randy neighbour might turn the table against them. He’d deny everything and instead claim that the op and the woman disturb him everyday with their fighting. Has it occurred to you that the op might be scared of this neighbour?? He quarrels and fights the woman so much so that the other guy hears everything but he lacks the balls to confront him when the woman told him what the other guy told her! Normally, you’d expect a guy to approach the other man and have a heart to heart talk or respond aggressively but the op has his tail tucked between his legs and instead decides to seek advice here. |
Nazgul:Easier said that done. Don’t be naive sir...your advice seems nice but like the others here, you failed to hint on the main issue. The problem isn’t really the covetous neighbour, it’s the fact that this neighbour is an opportunist who tries to exploit the serious domestic issues between the op and his wife to be. This guy hasn’t paid the bride price and seems to be in some financial wahala. Why would the wife be going outside to brush her teeth? What kind of neighbourhood is that? This man is in trouble, if he doesn’t sort the domestic issues that prompts the hyena of a neighbour to ‘pity’ the wife to be, he might be attending the wife’s wedding with this dude. The wife might also be playing a psychological one on him...The big message isn’t the randy neighbour hitting on his girl....The message is that someone else hears their constant domestic problems and wants to ‘rescue’ the woman from his aggression. Think am well. The signs are there that this guy need to sort himself or this marriage will be very rocky. At this early stage, he is fighting his wife to be...if it continues, the woman might start regretting telling him about this other man. |
somehow:The guy is simply blessed and he is a blend of the best genetic qualities from both parents otherwise he would just be a tall awkward fella with fallen arches, flaccid calves muscles and weak shoulders. God really blessed him...and to think that he was hustling DVDs and CDs in the street of Athens few years ago trying to feed. Grass to Grace. |
Cumtroller:I’m surprised DJ Cuppy hasn’t located and tried to connect to this dude. That girl no dey take eye see tall macho athletes with Naija roots. She never can resist the temptation to meet up with them, make bad beats to mess up their flows. |
Aileexa1:I disagree with the ‘huge slap on Nigeria’... it’s not a slap on Nigeria rather on the two artistes who disregarded the pandemic worries to promote their art in Uganda. That was disrespectful of the country and the worldwide efforts being made to combat Covid. It’ll be a slap on Nigeria if Abike Dabiri dabbles into this matter. Everything shouldn’t be about popularity and connection in the society. Uganda will be setting a very bad precedence if the cower to any sort of pressure from Nigeria. Ronaldinho was sent to prison over immigration issues, Funke Akindele was punished for breaking covid restriction rules. Who is Omah Lay or Tems? They should carry their crosses and leave Nigeria out of this. They would learn their lessons after this experience. Btw...if two Ugandans came to Nigeria to perform within this period, there will be uproar. Lots of people will curse the hell of out Uganda and even blame Buhari’s incompetency for that. |
Uganda is a sovereign country and if those two broke the law, they should be prosecuted. Abike Dabiri should mind her business and face more pressing issues. I don’t understand why everyone is swearing in Uganda. Is Oma lay living in another planet not to know about the pandemic threatening the whole world? Ronaldinho broke the law in some South American country...I think Paraguay and was sent to prison. Oma lay isn’t different. No one here can tell Ugandan government how to treat law defaulters. |
Chigboboss:What repentance and remorse?? Do you believe that Orji Uzor Kalu is a changed man?? Nigeria is a big joke and you are part of the reason people like Kalu will keep taking advantage of the mess in the country. What did Kalu go to prison for?? Corruption and embezzling public fund!....a senator of Federal republic of Nigeria and the chief whip of the upper house was convicted, sent to prison, came back with his seat preserved for him!! If you don’t this awkward and shameful then you shouldn’t be mentioning repentance and remorse anywhere. |
vonlogon:I am not sure you’ve heard of or seen a very stubborn Inner man. He needs pampering etc. If you don’t bath and moisture and make him happy, he will stand stubbornly like a German salute till you’ve done the needful. If you don’t, both of you won’t sleep or rest. ![]() |
Juliusmalema:Image laundering sir I think it’s called. When they make an ambiguous statement, it’s tagged ‘presidency’. When it has to do with some project, Buhari gets the credit. Buhari built nothing. Those people around him are all sycophants. If federal government intervened, it should be tagged federal government not Buhari. |
I hope this library isn’t located within his palace. If it is, he should ask his contractors to redesign it. It looks more like an Internet cafe or a stationery store started as a side hustle by someone who is still on his NYSC assignment. Those flashy colours and sparsely populated books observing social distancing shouldn’t be in a palace. Obi of Onitsha’s palace should be a centre of culture, tradition and education. That Internet cafe doesn’t reflected that. |
madmohamed:I can’t believe a man like Sagay said that. I’m speechless. With his position in the society and level of education, he really should be ashamed of himself. |
Ishilove:An old boyfriend? |
Mutemenot:Maybe one day, we’d all look back and praise the men of SARS for profiling, stereotyping and doing good jobs protecting us all from people like this. They’ve boldly advertised themselves with their tattoos and hairstyles but we chose to look the other way in the name of equality, open mindedness and tolerance. |
kasim155:Console myself how? I support Enugu Rangers not Barcelona fc. I care less if they lose or win. I’m a football fan and I like entertaining and beautiful football. Im not one of your online or virtual football fans who waste time arguing about Messi or Ronaldo. |
Despite the scoreline, Barcelona dey play football abeg. This is beautiful to watch. |
TinubuGoQuench:That wasn’t nice. You gave her a malware infected phone what if she realises, comes back and hammer you with Ojuelegba STD? |
MeeztaFabulouz:What exactly did you see that’s giving you suicidal thoughts? Chats?? Chill bro, that was unfortunate but you need to call your wife and sit down with her...have a proper chat and make sure whatever links or relationship that she has with those two or about to have with them or anyone is completely terminated. Talk to your wife first, I’d meet the other two as well and tell them to back off or escalate it from there. |
That was no apology to Anyim. He made those statements reluctantly because Ohaneze met and talked sense to him that as a ‘performer’ and governor of Ebonyi, he should be the one bringing people together rather being the source of disaffection and disunity. He made the statements just for the records. I’m sure that would’ve been one of the hardest things he has done this year. Vindictive and controlling people would rather their arteries burst than utter the words ‘sorry’, please, forgive. |
SmartPolician:The most important thing is for them to have passed through the proper and legal immigration channel, have the correct documentations, paying their taxes and obeying the laws. |
Mtvbaseng:I don’t know your story or the hotel and it’s location. From your story and confession, this girl have you her all. You were the one sapping and depleting her energy. When you were suspended, she did not ignore you. You confessed that she made it up for you by paying for another accommodation for you and also paid you whatever you would’ve lost financially. ...took you to Benin, both of you were using up and burning her N300k savings....prostitution is a disgusting way of living, that’s how I see people involved in it till I read your story. I think that girl is a legend. You owe her big time and you must pay back. All the meagre cheddars you accumulated doing nasty things with strangers, she spent and shared with you.... You...you were concerned about your looks!! Go back to that girl wherever she is and say sorry and pay back what you owe her. Don’t consider yourself smart spewing and denigrating her to her likes. A billion likes don’t and won’t put food on your table or get you a sachet of water if you were dehydrated and thirsty. You learnt nothing from your experience. |
Mtvbaseng:Sorry to disagree bro. The only simp here is you. That girl wanted companionship and trusted you. She was the hustler and provider. You gave her NOTHING. Of all the times you guys were together, she gave her all to and even wished and prayed for you to be s better man. You reciprocated with betrayal and contempt. Why did you have to mention the name of the hotel here, it’s location and the name of ‘your’ girl?? Was that necessary? Your type can’t be trusted. You are narcissist, selfish and greedy. As much as I despise that type of lifestyle, I pray that girl find a much better life that wouldn’t remind her of her dark past and people like you. You don’t deserve her. |
This guy seems so vain and narcissistic. He looks like Jean-Bedel Bokassa in that grooms attire. He’d be worse than Rochas in bragging and Dino in showing off if he was holding a public office. |
jmoore:I read that he called him ‘an academic of repute’. Where did you see ‘an academician of refute’? |
drealnamdy:It’s not as easy as that. It’s a game he should’ve played smartly. I know lots of people like him at the moment. The law favours women a lot. She has the children, she could restrict access to them and she could turn their minds against him. |
excel101:Ben was her passport to Europe and when she got there, she had other plans. Uk was her destination. Apparently she struggled with life in Austria...language, culture, job and friends. I don’t think she gave a damn about the marriage and Akwuegbu and with law favouring her as a woman, wife and mother, she took the decision to move to England which she loved citing education for the kids as excuse. That was nonsense. Austria would’ve been cheaper for them and the children would still be educated in a very good English language teaching and speaking school. She took advantage of the law to ‘pepper’ Akwuegbu. If her marriage was her priority, she would’ve stayed in Austria with Ben and they would e still be successful as a couple and relocation later. ...why would she be depending on Ben to be paying her bills in England? Could she not work? What’s she doing with her money? I pity Akwuegbu but he acted foolishly, he should’ve settled with her before trying to wed another woman. She might make his journey very frustrating. Someone should’ve advised him properly. The lady is after a huge settlement/alimony etc |
Chykenson:There are certain responsibilities required of public office holders and irrespective of cultural practices, there are also behaviours and temptations which people like this man should avoid and run away from. Apart from ethical responsibilities, common sense and good conscience should apply in his conducts. Agbazuere failed woefully as a public office holder by entertaining a man such as Odumeje in such a manner. His office is not a circus and with all the recession and failings of his state government, he still had the audacity to waste money in a such a manner....in his office and on a character like Odumeje!!.. Bros fear God...fear God. If you are not ashamed of him and his actions, I am and everyone I’ve spoken to about this feels embarrassed. Agbazuere should be remorseful and should be apologising for his foolishness not blaming ‘enemies’ for his stupidity. There are no enemies but him. He wrestled himself and rolled himself to the mud. He doesn’t deserve that office. |
Bmaster:Your desperate effort to transfer your early Monday morning melancholy will be resisted. Keep your sadness to yourself. Are you one of those who use that term ‘jeep’ for every SUV?...I’m sure my comment will be of great benefit to you and many others even though pride won’t let you admit it. |
