The guy in yellow was lucky..machetes or sticks…it would’ve been very bad for him if the guy in blue hadn’t intervened. The other crew were about to smash him to bits. An unlucky blow/hit to his head when he was down on the floor would’ve been fatal.

He was lucky.

I’m surprised he took his post very seriously and was asking for his location.

Some posts, posters and claims are better ignored. Just read and waka pass. He is no threat to you, haven’t offended you, didn’t call you out.

He only claimed to lit up his weed in the middle of the fracas in the filling station while letting off some rounds from his pistol and the man took it serious!!

There are people who are truly made for violence and aggression. These people can never blend with ordinary people. How can a murderer or violent criminal/robber escape from prison or leave probation centre and immediately commit another gruesome crime on his way home!

These are people who should be in the war zones ‘living their dreams’.

Yes there are such people. They take risks with no regards for their own safety.

Don’t be surprised that 90% of those you are trying to educate here are same people that you speak for and defend daily here on Nairaland. There are actually people who want to fight in Ukraine…for the experience and to update their CVS….some of them live a life of trauma. When you have nothing to lose, your fears are banished.

There is absolutely nothing to dissect from this poster who calls himself ‘table shaker’.

He kept provoking and making offensive posts about Tinubu. How can a man be so negative? Why not promote your own candidate?

He mentioned Osibanjo’s campaign organisation as being responsible for the dirts against Tinubu. Reno is evil and a coward. Shame on him.

Even the blind will see his devious tactics…trying to pit Osibanjo against Tinubu. That’s cowardice. This man acts, reasons and talks like child.

Stop being silly, no one is pushing Ukrainians. They don’t want Putin dictating to them. They don’t want Russian influence. They need military assistance to fight their aggressors.

Uk can’t take everyone. They opened the doors for Indians and Pakistanis in the 80s during Amin’s government.

Afghans came in their thousands last year. Uk has really done a lot to help but there is a limit to what they can do.

To me, there's nothing bad the Ukrainian Government did to Nigerians in Ukraine.

This is unrest and security breach. Priorities must come first.

Why were even Nigerian citizens in Ukraine running away from the chaos?

Why did they not stand by the Ukrainian Government to fight the war coming from Russia?

You do not run away from your house while your enemy attack, you stand and protect your interest.

Ukrainian soldiers are doing the work while the strangers were running away. So, there's no way same treatment can be given to all. It doesn't happen.

Priorities first.

I don't want to talk about the South African menace. They're worse off. Xenophobia is hell.
Does the above make any sense to you?

Ukrainian citizens were running away from danger and you expect strangers who contribute to their economy by patronising their education to remain and fight…fight for who? Same Ukrainians that were running away from their country?

Receive sense.

Politics › Re: Emir Of Kano, Air Peace Row Deepens by KosiGee(m): 12:49am On Feb 28, 2022
mfm04622:
Drgoodman

The Emir and his party (10 in all) came have a ticket from outside Nigeria to Kano via Lagos. This mean the international flight will land in Lagos, then they will board a connecting flight from Lagos to Kano.

But the international flight was delayed for more than 2 hours. Before the flight left the international airport, the party had expressed their concern about the connecting flight. They were assured no issue. The international flight landed with only 30 minutes before the Lagos-Kano flight is to leave. They got to the gate in 15 minutes and were told the gate was closed and they be boarded. So of course they were angry. You caused the delay and you can't delay the flight that is still on ground to board the party?
Okay, let us get another flight, Air Peace said they will be charged a "No show" fee to revalidate their ticket. Another reason they were angry.
Okay, according to law, if international flight is late, the air line is supposed to provide hotel accommodation for the passengers. Air Peace did not.
So if the Emir and his party is just asking for apology, without pushing for refund of ni show fees and the hotel fees, why shouldn't Air Peace apologize? They caused this mess up. I suspect they have sold and boarded the seats the emir and his party was to occupy but why charge them no show fees?
If this was the case, I feel really bad that people have been criticising the emir and his entourage over something that is not their fault.

I’ve been a victim of flight delays myself and I’ve lost money to Air peace. Last year I missed one of their flights to Enugu because there was delays from another airline….arrived Lagos late, couldn’t board as the gate has closed when I got there…

…didn’t board another of their flight from Enugu to Abuja as the plane had some issue, took time to sort it out…I got refund…not full refund and this involved writing to the airline and waiting for weeks.

I think AirPeace owe not just the emir but it’s numerous passengers apologies. They need to improve on their services and customer relations.

Your mouth dey smell.

Airpeace neither delayed flights nor did they cancel flights that the Emir wanted to board. The bone of contention here is that Airpeace refused to delay the flight for the Emir hence an "insult" to the Emir. But there is nothing wrong in flying on schedule.
So Emir was late for his flight? Was that the problem? Did he miss the flight?

If he was late for his flight, what’s the demand for the airline and Onyeama to apologise to the emir all about. I’m still confused here.

Trajan:
Hello Nlers,

So, my 7 year old child recently had his British passport mailed to him in Nigeria. He now has a flight to UK coming up.

My question is, will he be allowed to board as he doesn't possess a Nigerian passport? Please, note that I paid the airline for chaperone service.
I would really appreciate answers from immigration guys or frequent travellers.

Thanks all.
Get a Nigerian passport for him while he is still in Nigeria. It’ll make things easy for both of you. He will present both on departure and it’ll make it easy for you when you want to renew it rather than going for a new application for him in London.
He will need a Nigerian passport on coming back except he is not coming back anytime soon otherwise you’ll need to send his British passport to the Nigeria High Commission for visa application.

Get a Nigerian passport now while you can. Some of those staff at the airport don’t like it when you flash your red passport. They might delay his travel especially with him being a minor…..make sure you have enough documents to cover his travel. Some might suspect that he is being trafficked.

Think twice sir. N1,500,000 is the basic salary of a band 6 Nhs staff (nurses, radiographers etc)…

N1.5m per month is good money anywhere whether it’s Uk, US and I think it’s a lot of money in Nigeria and as you said…there is potential for growth.

You know why you want to leave Nigeria so you are the best person to provide answer to your question. If you are coming to the Uk for economic reasons, it might take a while before you stabilise.

What’s your reason for leaving Nigeria?
