Sports › Re: NFF Doesn’t Believe In Nigerian Coaches, Says Christian Chukwu by KosiGee(m): 11:35am On Jan 17, 2022
There is a huge gap and opportunity which Nigerian coaches have failed to exploit. They need to work hard, invest on themselves through various CAF/FIFA courses. The Nigeria premier league and the national league are avenues for the coaches to excel and market themselves. Little is known the local league managers. A win at home and loss away doesn’t do any local manager any good. I believe a lot had changed since the start of this season, Remo fc has been doing well, home and away, Enyimba beat Rangers at Enugu, Enugu Rangers has gotten some favourable results on their away matches etc….the league is a platform for managers to market themselves and on the continental scene like CAF champions league and the confederation cup, I don’t think Nigeria has done well.
Enyimba was the only club to win CAF champions cup under Okey Emordi. The likes of Plateau United, Kano pillars, Mfm have all tried but failed.
Managers of the local clubs can’t just expect to land the Eagles job on a platter. They can also look beyond the shores of Nigeria like Keshi and Amunike did.

Since the likes of Kelechi Iheanacho, Awoniyi, isaac success, not much is known about our under 17 and under 20.

While we blame Pinnick and NFF, let’s also ask the local coaches what they’ve done or achieved with the opportunities they’ve had especially when playing in the continent.

Lol, thanks for watching
If you are looking for subscribers, you’ll need to do a proper research, edit and improve on your pronunciation and diction.

“I want to show you aw to offload cows”…”If you look at this place, you’ll notice that it’s very AI”.

Why do you pronounce how as ow/aw and high as ai/I??

That wasn’t a proper way to offload animals. There was no wisdom there…Those traders need a ramp, either portable or adaptable ramp.

Tallesty1:
If one's performance in these interviews is what is used to gauge one's ability to lead, please can someone remind me what Buhari said in his own interviews that got him where he's today?
Someone aspiring to be the president of Nigeria should be able to communicate effectively. Buhari has been a disaster and it shouldn’t be an excuse or justification to have someone like Orji Uzor Kalu there. Orji Uzor was messed up by that interview. We all should be glad that Abati and co are exposing these men.

Composure under pressure and ability to express your thoughts coherently are not qualities you’d dismiss especially for Kalu and other politicians. Kalu was rattled, lacks the emotional intelligence and cerebral power required to occupy Aso Rock. No excuses here.

I admire him, he achieved financial independence very early in life, under him…Enyimba conquered Africa twice. I’ll always respect him for that….but as the president of Nigeria, it’s a big NO. Pls no one should mention Tinubu or Buhari here. I’m Nwafo Igbo and a very proud one but this is not political witch hunt. Kalu simply hasn’t got it.

I felt the same way when I heard Tony Nwoye, Andy Uba, Chris Uba,Ifeanyi Uba, Okezie Ikpeazu and even Rochas Okorocha. As an Igbo man, I think these men above have their leadership qualities but they are seriously deficient. I also read Pius Anyim’s response to Dave Umahi when they had issues and I was very disappointed. He sounded like an upper iweka charge and bail lawyer.

Igbo can do better but not with some of these charlatans. They shouldn’t be flying our flag.

Ladies be careful o. This is a trap.
I've once fell a victim of this. Though mine wasn't food.

No Nigerian man would give you anything without wanting something in return.

Let us open our eyes this year o.
Nigerian men don't wish us well. They just want to use you and ;Dthen dump you.

You declined his invitation but went back to get the gift?!! grin

Sorry, that was greediness…then the monkey’s head got trapped in the coconut shell.

Erie ihe, enye ihe…if you receive or eat something, you’ll have to give something back. Comprehendo…you can’t just decide to break that code…it’s sacred.
Politics › Re: Anambra 2022 Governorship Transition Committee full List by KosiGee(m): 8:11pm On Jan 13, 2022
Too many cooks spoil the broth. All these names and the long list are not necessary in my opinion.
Anambra state government can still have a smooth and well organised transition without all these names.
I don’t know whose idea this is…I suspect it’s Obiano’s. If so, maybe he wants to acknowledge and recognise certain people before he vacates the seat.
The long list wouldn’t do Soludo’s government any good at this stage. He could still consult and utilise the experiences and expertise of certain individuals there later on as a governor but at the stage, he’ll be inheriting a huge burden of weight that will break his back and affect his decision making and subsequently slow down his progress as a governor.

He doesn’t need all those people at this stage. A lot of them will feel used and dumped.

DubaiLandLord:
Have you been following what is happening in Imo state between the former and present Governor?

Most Nigerian Politicians are scared to invest in Nigeria because they can be witchhunt.

Do you still remember what happen to Eastern Palm University?

Did you hear about some corrupt Airforce personnel that build a private hospital in Lagos? The Airforce took over the expensive equipments at their hospital.

The Nigerian Airforce do not have the kind of equipments those corrupt officers use stolen money to buy.

The best thing for Nigeria is that, corruption and incompetence must be kicked out.

“Most Nigerian Politicians are scared to invest in Nigeria because they can be witchhunt”

This isn’t witch hunt…Rochas Okorocha and his son in law bred Imo state to exhaustion. Rochas and his family are greedy and evil. Examples abound but leave Imo state out of this.

Listen to him asking the radio host: “what’s your business with flyover? What concerns you with flyover? I designed it, brought white man that’s executing the project, I pay them to build flyover for me, why are you worried about flyover? Most people asking about this flyover don’t have cars”.

Okezie Ikpeazu is a fool.

You think so? Bet9ja and other betting sites would’ve made a killing. Lots of people would’ve staked that Egypt would win. Many people would’ve played some ‘safe bets’ that Egypt would win or at worst drew….it happened with Algeria vs Sierra Leone match. Anyone who took a risk and staked that it’d end in goal less draw would’ve been smiling now.

Who would believe that a high scoring Algerian team that beat Ghana 3-0 few days ago and with Meyrez would struggle with an unknown Sierra Leone?
Let’s not be carried away, Eagles surprised us all but it could go wrong. Let’s continue to hope and wish them the very best to remain fit, healthy, mentally alert and highly motivated.

Always try to say the truth and resiste the urge to tell lies in order to cast yourselves as victims.

Tinubu never mentioned Igbo in that video or said anyone started kidnapping .
He wanted people to have open minds and not just narrow the search for the assailants.
He did not mention Igbos!! Really ??
Tinubu messed up mister, he wanted people to have an open mind and he had to mention Evans of all people?

What will be will be…I wish him luck but stop turning this into an Igbo hates Yoruba nonsense: most of us here have Yorubas as great buddies and nothing will change that not even the toxic environment of Nairaland.

I reserve hate for evil and greedy individuals like Rochas, Uba family of Uga etc…
Politics › Re: Why Do Igbos Hate Tinubu So Much? Can Someone Explain. by KosiGee(m): 5:13am On Jan 12, 2022
Movic1:
Because they are associated to Tinubu party that's why you hate them.
I think you are biased. I’ll speak for myself and I don’t think Igbos hate Yorubas.

About Tinubu….I see him as a smart and strategic politician. I’m impressed with his role in Eko Atlantic city…however I was disappointed when he came on a condolence visit when Pa Fasoranti’s daughter was killed. Guess what Tinubu of all people said?? I ask you, tell us here exactly what this great politician uttered when he handled the microphone…be honest

Igbos were harassed in Lagos during the emergence of Ambode as governor. Thugs were deployed to prevent Igbos from casting votes. Do you remember one of the thugs smashing ballot boxes even with police and a military man looking helplessly. This was a polling station with strong Igbo base. The people mobilised and attacked this thug….what happened? Yorubas went crazy that Igbos were attacking ‘Yorubas’ in Lagos….Adeyinka Grandson went hysterical over that incident…

Remi Tinubu was seen on video harassing an Igbo man who came to cast his vote even when this man told her that he came to support APC.

Tinubu’s daughter disturbs traders at Ladipo. She goes there as iyaloja harassing people. Lagos state has a government with elected officers overseeing commerce and the environment. Let the elected officers do their jobs. Tinubu’s daughter has no business extorting money from people already overtaxed and disturbing their businesses.

What kind of family is that? On hate, I won’t call that hate. I don’t hate Tinubu. If you want to see hate, I’ll give you Rochas Okorocha…lots of Igbos hate him, I don’t like him, I don’t like his wife, daughter and uche Nwosu, his son in law. I think they are thieves and evil.

Lots of Igbos don’t like Ikpeazu, TA Orji, Uba brothers etc. This is not about Igbos hating Yorubas.
It’s similar to Buhari, like Tinubu’s speeches disrespecting Igbos, same goes to Buhari calling Igbos 5%, dot nation etc. Do you expect me to have love and support for such people. I personally don’t.

Same goes to Joe Igbokwe, I don’t have love for fools who disrespect their own very existence and would choose silver over the lives of their own people.

Awolowo…I have nothing but love and admiration for the legend.

The claim that Adama Traore doesn’t lift weight or gym is nonsense.
He might not be using the barbell a lot but he definitely is a gym freak. Every football club in England invest lots in gyms and the facility is used by every footballer.
Adama does cable resistance and I’m sure the leg extension/flexion machine would be one of his favourites.

How true is this?
Yes it’s true, Frenkie is 74kg and Adama is 72kg..

What’s their respective heights??

Frenkie is 1.8m

Adama is 1.78m….so if Adama at 72kg were to be ‘stretched’ out to a height of 1.8m, he’d won’t be so compact.
