Lacrissa: I am about passing out this present batch and when people ask me what next, their emphasis is always on marriage. One told me, now I'm passing out, when am I giving them invitation and another talked to me when I plan on settling down. Is that what most people do, after NYSC, plan on getting married? Not like I don't want to get married soon, of course but I was just surprised when both of them at different times after congratulating me talked about marriage being next.

leadzeal: I don't think the fall guys are quite behind.. Since the first part of this topic as been so exhaustive enough with useful informations, it is rather difficult to add more to a saturated mixture... So which invariable implies that the fall 2012 guys are just making reference to the former post rather than reinventing the wheel. I am quite surprise when I see the same nature of questions asked here that have already been dealt with decisively in the first part of this topic.. I will honestly advice everyone to read thru all the topics(medley of both part1 and 2), apart from acquiring the knowledge, it will definitely boost one's confidence index.. My two cents..

me: cos they provide project work, theoretical and practical education which is not so in other countries

Not so in other countries is wrong, a lot of countries have the same standard as usa. . .you should have said because usa has the best facilities to support your area of study

Visa officer: got SAT
me: no I wrote TOEFL, cause that's what my school requested from me to prove my proficiency
Also wrong, you should have been concise and said "no, it was not a criteria for admission as stated in my I-20 (I assume this was stated there). . . And you should have done SAT, ppl say it here time and time again that all necessary exams should be done, whether or not needed for admission.

Visa officer: I don't want that(TOEFL) stopped me from bringing out the TOEFL result.

Wrong answer, I am sure that is not the only accredited school for the course you wanna study, so u should have been specific of why u chose that school. . . Facilities, reputation n co.

Seun: New Nairaland used to have a rather annoying feature: when you logged in with your phone, you would be logged out on your PC, and when you logged in on your PC, you would be logged out on your phone. They said they don't accept photocopies unless it is Officially attested as exact copies of the original.. So this is where notarization of documents will come in.. So I need to notarize my documents... Where can I notarize my documents? And who has an idea hw much it will cost me? Going through WAEC is a long process nd might be very expensive and nt really necessary for my school..
