There is a check box on the confirmation page, that is labelled sth abt rollover(I.e if peradventure there becomes an available date, the system shld automatically put you on dat spot). So I did check dis box before submitting my application. I fink the emergency booking is on now, that was suppose to be my second alternative if this fails to work out.

So if you need earlier date u cld try d emergency button @ d left of ur visa application page, but I fink, nt too certain, that u ve 2 cancel ur previous appointment. Not dat certain sha.

If u can still find ur way to your confirmation page, u cld checked that rollover button.'If it's possible though'

You can still choose this option after you have booked an appointment, just go to cancel appointment and tick it and click opt in

leadzeal: I am glad u said and I quote 'when the season is bad'. So there's still a possibility of one that fall into this category to be issued a visa still.. I have not applied for a visa lottery ever before and going thru almost all part of the previous thread,acquiring a visa all boils down to one's presentation,luck,season(as u stated) and most importantly God factor.

I booked my visa interview date 2 days ago and the available date as at dat time was 15th august. i did select the date with the option of a roll-over. at the early hrs of today, my interview date was shifted to 31st of july. lucky me. It is lagos by d way.

Wow ur lucky, I have the 15th date too but didn't choose the roll over option cos I am not around, would do so when I get back. . .

When u book a visa appointment it allows u choose if u want to auto-reschedule to an earlier date, if that earlier date becomes available

I was @ d us embassy on june first and got there in time actually because the interview was scheduled for 9am.
The interview went well and I answered all questions correctly and my dad's bank statement and mine was showed to the lady on the 2nd counter,Then she started typing and asked me to pick up my visa at vsf office at lekki on wednesday and I told her thank you and left happily until yesterday midnight,I got a text and email from vsf office and us embassy to pick jp my documents today.
I was shocked and quickly went there this morning to pick up the visa and passport but on gettin there,I held my passport and didn't see any sign of visa granted but I took the letter in the envelope and read my visa is been denied due to some reasons.I was shocked and it actually spoilt my mood because I already bought my airline ticket yesterday hoping to travel tomorrow as the school already resumed on monday.Please has anyone experiened this before or if there is something I have to do to make this right because I am seriously dissapointed.

a young friend of mine,actually went out to buy some stuffs and it was packaged in a ghana must go,and eventually got stranded near a bus park,he wasn't with his atm,all he had was his blackberry to ping and make calls,while he was making call he was shouting on the phone,
And a very beautiful charming swagged up young girl who's about 22yrs overhead his conversation,and was just staring @ him,and when he finnaly got a recharge card from a friend,for him to sell and find his square root,he walked up to 3 different people close by,they turned down the offer to buy the recharge card,and he and the girl had an eye contact,and the girl asked him,"CAN I GIVE YOU 1K?"...he xplaind a lil of what happnd,so he gav d girl N500 voucher,and she gave him 1k and they entrd thesame bus,she paid his fare,and they exchanged contacts....
this my young friend is confused could it be the girl pitied his condition,or the girl is tripping?
What should he do,go for her or just friends?

Please help him out....

Izuone: My girl travelled to see her child, relatives and parents on the last saturday of may.she warned me to not misbehave but unfortunately last friday i ran into my ex and took her home and knacked her akpako. She came back yesterday and when she came to my house she said the condom that was remaining before she travelled was five but now 3 remains ,what happened and also that it is not the same condom and that i should explain myself and give her two reasons why she should forgive me and why i couldn't hold myself for just ten days. I denied that i didn't use the condom ,that i didn't mess any body but she didn't agree with me. To make matters worse as she was searching the house she saw the old condom sachet and said that they are different ,that i should confess and she would forgive me. But for where ,how me i go confess . I deny and i am still denying. The truth is that there was 3 condoms as she left and i used 1 with my ex but i didn't that same condom to buy and replace it ,so i bought another type and kept 3 of them where i normally keep condom and hid the rest but i did know she will spot the difference buy the two. The denial is not working ,so am thinking whether i should confess . I told a friend ,he said that i shouldn't try it.i like this chick ,i don't want to lose her. It's a case of not knowing what you have till you are about to lose it. I need your advice ,how do i tread in this matter.

salakobaba: IF help had come early, the over140 persons, who died in the Dana commercial air plane crash at Iju, Lagos, yesterday might have saved, residents have said.
According to them, the aircraft did not explode immediately it crashed. It exploded after about20 minutes.
An eyewitness said the incident happened between 3pm and 4pm.
Narrating how the crash happened, an eyewitness, who claimed anonymity noted that the aircraft was seen swinging before it eventually landed ona newly constructed storey building.
‘’I was here with my wife and other people when we saw the plane moving around in random directions. Initially wewere confused, but when it was getting usually close to the rooftop of the houses around, we stood up and traced were it eventually landed,’’ he noted.
Continuing, the eyewitness said, ‘’When we go to the scene, we saw the plane on the building and it did not explode upon landing. The only fire from the aircraft was from the cockpit which was not much. It was only ten of us that first got to the scene. That little fire would have been quenchable if there was immediate emergency responsefrom fire fighters. Wewere even using sachets of pure water to put off the fire before we heard loud explosion after 20 minutes.’’
It was further gathered that the absence of emergency responsefrom concerned authorities, promptedone of the eyewitnesses at the scene to call the Chairperson of Local the Government, whoinformed the Lagos State Government.
‘’When we discovered that emergency rescue service was not on sight, my wife had to call the chairperson of the local government, who informed Fashola’s people. It was that call that altered the authorities. But if therescue service had arrived on time, theywould have been saved because therewas no fire when theplane landed on the buildings. The pilot ofthe aircraft was verybrave because we noticed it from the way the aircraft was swinging before it crashed,’’ another eye said.

So ur telling me they had a whole 20mins to evacuate the passengers in the plane and they are blaming emergency rescue service

Your more to blame than the emergency service, this person narrating this story was very foolish, making calls instead of helping ppl

see stupid lie. . . rescue my anuusss. . . another publicity stunt. . . did he go there to pull them out? stop making it seem as if he was one of the rescue workers. . . and those kids have been known to be homeless since the crash happened, don't paint it as if fashola was the one who discovered they were homeless

We were 2 hav CSC251 practical on dis fateful day and we both went to the lab together. Wen d practical manuals were brought,hers was missing and we were told it will be wit d Lecturer in Charge of d course. She begged me 2 go wit her and we both went to the lecturer's office.
The lecturer was at the door of his office wen we arrived. We xplained everytin 2 him and he told us 2 go search his office ourselves as he is already late for a meeting. He left as soon as we entered. We started looking for her practical manual bt i couldnt stop looking at her face; How i wish she was Mine!!
She soon noticed i was looking at her and faced me. By then, the emotions were already burning. I wished i could just grab her and kiss her. I wasnt gonna wait 4 long as she came 90% while i completed the remaining 10% of d kiss. The kiss was a deep one. We soon stopped kissing and she gave me a "Bleep Me look" while slowly pulling up her skirt. I knew deep down inside me that it was wrong bt damn, an office quickie has always been my greatest fantasy and doing it in an office which is nt mine is much more fascinating. Sup everyone, l have heard the saying many times that good things come but once. Ok my people , I was waiting at the bus-stop for bus the other day, l looked so ugly not that l am ugly, no makeup, my outfit wasnt sexy and this sexy looking guy came by with this exotic ride l have never seen in my life and he''s like "baby girl, u need a ride" and am like l don't drive with strangers and next thing he gives me his number and his office number and tells me he is new in the area , that he just lost his mum and he moved from florida and needs a new environment.

Ok, am there standing blown away by this guy's appearance, very sophiticated , very very handsome and my legs trembling and tears start pouring down my eyes and he's like, you don't need to cry . am like it allergy's. (l felt stupid)

Ok, the truth is that, l have a boyfriend already who l love dearly but meeting this new guy something in me tells me that l should give it a chance because since when l saw him my legs haven' t stopped trembling since then.
