You see those University of ...... and ......State University are highly competitive in every state. I guess your CGPA is lower than 2.5 on a 4 scale? Well, your GRE or GMAT can play a vital role if you have a good one. Also, look for private schools, though expensive and not really sure about this but give such a trial too. When searching for schools, check their CGPA requirement and write the graduate coordinator first about your case before committed to applying. I'm sure yours is here in the US......keep searching!

To add to that, is ur GRE high in the region of 1300?? Plus how comprehensive is ur CV and ur personal statement?

Personal statement helps alot, cos mehn u can wash them wella. . . . I am sure mine was one of the reasons they picked me. . . Plus do not apply to top ranking schools if ur gpa isn't that superb, shift ur bar a lil lower. . .

4. Not sure about but I shouldn't think so cos u gain B.Sc after DLI,
5. You need to research for ur self,
6. Price is reducing from $190 to $175 from July 1st but remember the Naija company charging u wud charge extra so if you have someone that can do it abroad, all the better
7. It expires every 2yrs so you have to take the test again and try to get a higher score

ghost: I seem to be grossly frustrated with the way Airtel disturbs me.
Whoever set of people are in their adverts department are taking their advert methods too far,they are frustrating millions of Nigerianss everyday and most times they are responsible for making people unhappy.
Everyday I receive an average of 6 text messages fro Airtel,38297 etc, they send the same advert messages and I am tired deleting it, frustrating enough, yesterday,they sent me an advert message at 2am,waking me up and I couldn't find sleep again.
As if that's not enough, they call millions of Nigerians and when you pick,they start advertising again, numbers like 141, 07080604010 etc.
I have been calling the customer care almost everyday for the past 4 months and they keepp promising me it would stop in 2hrs,6hrs etc only for me to receive the messages again.
Please People can anyone pls help us complain to NCC.
Airtel is frustrating us with spam messages and calls, and their customer care services are completely useless.
Help us I beg.

My observation: everyone b4 me dat did not take a standardized test was denied, another guy was denied cus according to d VO, his I-20 has expired ie resumption date has passed, then a lot of guys came unprepared, they knew nothing abt der skul nor program, I almost laughed @ a point, I just conpot cus me sef never get visa @ d time. @ all pls be prepared, be confident and above all, God factor-pray cus I got the nicest VO dat issued d most visas, dats God.

adex2000ng: Each time I board an aircraft (local or int'l) as part of safety awareness, air hostesses/hosts demonstrate how parachutes available to each persenger could be deployed in case of emergency.

Now I just had a thought over the incident of the ill-fated DANA aircraft. Knowing fully well that the pilot and crew on board perceived there was a problem they were trying to overcome, why was it that they failed to encourage the persengers to practicalised the parachute? Don't you think some souls would have been saved in that process rather than lost everybody in flames. Or is the parachute a fancy gadget in the aircraf?

How soon can you receive your result? Put that into consideration. . . As I explained before, you can go with the expired one and inform them it expired after you applied to the school. . . But the choice is truly urs. . .

Depends on the school, some can courier it for u, some need u to pay for such service. . . If not they wud send by regular mail

I've been dating this guy for almost over 5 years. He's very hot-tempered & verbally abusive. At the slightest provocation, he calls me names e.g. fool etc.

He's presently waiting for a job to click. I visit him most weekends to keep him company since he's bored most of the time. He always looks for one fault in me or the other. When I leave especially for work in the morning after being with him, he starts sending me messages of what I did that's wrong, and what I didn't do etc. He teaches me how to cook to his satisfaction, and if I make a suggestion, he gets mad at me and starts calling me all sorts of names. Most times because he's so particular, I always ask Him how he wants a particular food cooked, because if one thing is put before another and it's not the way he does it,he wont eat the food again. Even times when I make a suggestion and he refuses, I do what he says yet when I go, he'll send me abusive messages saying "why did I want to do it that way, am I a fool? etc and a quarrel ensues, despite doing it his way.

He's pushed me severally and I fear he may be physically abusive too. Anything I tell him about myself,he uses it against me when next we quarrel. Please I need advice,the most embarrassing thing now is, we've been engaged for a year and from the look of things we may be breaking up very soon. I've been wearing his ring all along. How do I go through the shame of not getting married to him despite everyone knowing us together?

imperiouxx: Don't be confused, all you've written up there can't stop them from giving you that visa. You are still within the limited time grace. I'm telling you some get theirs on the exact resumption date on their I-20. About the 214(b), it means you don't satisfy them enough that you are returning, I have my own 214(b) too here and I'm where one VO said I didn't convinced her enough to be. Well, defer and try it again.

Yea, you are referring to Square65 in Nov 2011. He is my friend, we call each other before and after, even in US. His issue was miscalculation of tuition fee on his I-20, that was why he was asked to get a new I-20 carrying the correct sum before the visa can be approved. Getting an extension of arrival date isn't new except the school says ''NO'', even that doesn't concern the embassy.

That's y i advised him to put his interview experience then content of letter here b4 we cud advice

Your not to cancel the appointment, just click on cancel appointment on the left corner of the screen. . . Then u wud see an option to have the system look for available earlier dates and immediately schedule u for that date. . . .

No I couldn't either, heard we just need to take a passport foto wiv us. . . .
It's best your sponsor writes a letter and also advisable he fills the I-134 form, it makes it alot easier
