b3llo: Decompol Kyari! There is a grey area to Ur statement. Why would your office be a point of pick up for bought goods?
For your sanity n reputation avoid associating with people with questionable wealth. Good Nigerians appreciate your good works.
Thanks ,I was also curious about that part of his statement. Why can't abbas contacted the DSS instead of kyari if there's no existing relationship and also pickingup dresses for him or act as a transit point for his fashion designer? The kyari team is a special team for special assignments in the police force,I still don't believe the entirety of this press release but only time will tell.
Prince001: If there's opportunity trust me there won't be excuses. Let me use mine as an example. I got 242,268 and 280 in my jamb result I tried to get to university unfortunately for me I never succeeded cos I didn't know anyone. Later I managed to get work then I decided to go abroad when I got to abroad I did some labourer job due to my stay paper process, after I got my German passport I didn't deviated from my initial plan to study. I got admission to university in London at d age of 33 years after I finished my study I'm working as IT System administrator in automotive company. Imagine someone going to university at my age in Naija what's the chance of the person getting job. Cos whenever I look job description in Naija I know someone like me will just be useless cos of the age limit on the job advertisement unless I know someone. Mind u it was after I finished my study in London that I came bk to Germany. I got job at the age 40yrs without knowing anyone. Is that possible in Naija? If one person is making it out of 1000 that's not good thing and that's what some of u seems to forget. People are not lazy, it's just there are less and less opportunities to prosper with current Naija situation!
Thanks, your story is almost like mine,I got a high end job here in the state at age 46yrs without having to get a recommendation letter or kick back from anyone. I do not deviate from my plans too and was lucky to learn something about renewable energy and still learning, just a little tweak in my career and that was it. Am planning to attend a confectionary school soon to learn new things and start my own food processing business,as part of my retirement plans. How will this be possible in Nigeria of today judging from my background as a poor village boy with just a dream. Imagine if I have same opportunity at early stage in life,am retiring any moment soon.
pode: If she is an angel (fallen lucifer) that means there must be war in her heaven that led to the heart brake of those breast. Is like the breast are mourning.
Omo you be bad guy, mennn those girls at the center of her chest are really mourning and tired too.
OneTemplate: Lol. You can keep living in denial if you want. Aregbe worked hard from humble beginnings to win despite the reality of his own difficult days as a Nigeria youth .
He is a winner today even if you only wish to insult him while the reality remains that you may never get as far as he has in life.
The truth is that most Nigerian youths are lazy, distracted and focused on the wrong interests/pursuits.
Outstanding young Nigerians continue to do well. That is a fact many of you don't want to accept because your general knowledge and analytical intellect is very poor.
You guys are just not broadly robust enough intellectually to accept the reality of your own country and personal situation.
If not, you would accept there is very limited opportunities to make many, many, many millions of very rigid and unreasonable young folks, who refuse to think outside the box , professionally fulfilled and gainfully employed.
Agriculture is a local and international gold mine yet how many Nigerian youth will ever accept is as a viable first option instead of something they must literally be forced into at gunpoint?
You all want to wear suits up and down, drive company cars and work in banks or for top companies.
How many of such opportunities do you ignorant young people assume exists in Nigeria?
Yes the goverment is fcking up and falling short but you all should look at yourselves too and how much of a lazy generation, always wanting to be spoonfed, you really are.
You guys are not creative or innovative. Few of you think outside the box. Yet you all have an entitlement mentality. Una go suffer die bro. Real talk.
Well I don't need to dignify you with much responds, but the same person you are writing this epistle on behalf, am not sure give a Bleep about you yourself, I am self made for your information and at 40s by the grace of God I was made, and about to retire and enjoy the rest of my of life .
Before, you respond to me ,please be honest to ask yourself of the various past initiatives been put in place by past leaders to help the youth achieve their full potentials, how many are still existing today?
The various economic indices that will drive growth and naturally gravitate youth towards a forward thinking society are non-existence. I will not throw away the bath water with the baby,by agreeing that some of your points are valid about our youths.
Security and other basic infrastructures are almost moribund.
But,all over the world things are moving faster and forward because their leaders are doing something not just talking.
Aregbe rascal, please nobody dey use book read again na internet and good computer, our youth aren't lazy but tired of your lack of initiative and not catching up with the millennium happenings

kinglaxon: A friend of a friend is asking me to marry him so he can get his american papers (as I am a Us citizen), he is offering me 10k usd, I have been asked this many times by other people and have always declined, however i am wondering if i decide to do this. (since being in canada and now going through canadian immigration i now understand and feel sorry for people who have a hard time getting their status). what are the risk and what are the steps , i am not wanting to be inconvenienced and of course would be scared of doing fraud, a friend of mines who is a nigerian guy just married a white lady for his papers and he says that it is not a big process, well any information, or thoughts is welcomed,
That is pure immigration fraud and been a citizen you should know better. Federal felony plus plenty of your youthful year's behind bars if you're caught, however,DON'T DO IT PLEASE. I cant tell you categorically it will end in premium tears for sure

tunbosun002: Does Anyone Know How I Can Resolve This Issue?
Good morning nairalanders,
Please I have an issue with MobilinNigeria(Mobil petroleum station) in one of their branches in Lekki axis and the manager seems not to know what to do about it or he’s trying to play me.
On the 12th of this month, I was at one of the branches to buy diesel worth N10,000 with my atm card using POS..the fuel attendant whose name starts with M tried using my card with their POS machine and after about 30mins, he gave me the card saying the transaction was declined and opted that I transfer 10k to his personal account and he would pay later when the POS machine starts working, which I did and I left the petrol station.
On getting home, N10,000 from the declined transaction was deducted from my account. I sent an email to my bank(FCMB) immediately asking them to make a reversal of the N10,000 deducted from my account and I got a response stating that they will investigate for 3 working days.
After the said working days was completed, I got an email from FCMB saying the POS merchant got credited with the money with proof. I went back to mobil petrol station and I met with one of the attendants, asking to see their manager and I explained why I needed to see the manager but when the guy he called their manager came, the first thing he said is “IT IS A POS TRANSACTION and IT CANNOT be traced”, I immediately told him he cannot tell me there’s no way to keep track of their account records and I needed my money back since FCMB said the money went through, I also showed him the receipt FCMB sent to me. He promised to investigate and call back on Monday noon which he didn’t, I gave him till past 6pm of the said day before calling him, he asked that I call back so he can check and when I did, he said he didn’t see the N10,000 transaction in their account. I called FCMB yesterday and they still insisted that they received the money and they asked that I go back there and give them a call to talk to the manager.
Note, the manager has refused to check with the bank copy receipt FCMB sent to me saying since the one they gave me at the petrol station says declined, then the money is not with them. Please I need help from bankers in the house and nairalanders on how to get this money, N10,000 is really a lot this period as I have not been working for the past six weeks now.
I will attach the declined receipt I got from the petrol station and the receipt FCMB sent to me after their investigations.
Attached is the declined receipt I got from the fuel attendant and the receipt FCMB sent to me after their investigations.
Go to barrack and pay two soldiers 5k and take them there and thank me later
kaycyor: Please can someone survive a whole month with just 50k salary as a graduate.
I had a friend that just got employed in a big organization but he is placed on contract and 50k salary. Should he go ahead to take the Job or look elsewhere considering the deteriorating economy of Nigeria.
What's your advise on this guys.
Take it and grow from there, I took a job without pay for 3months and I traveled from ikorodu to Victoria Island everyday and it pays off in the end when I was eventually placed on 50k salary on contract basis and few months later was fully employed and all my benefits were paid in full from the day I joined the organization. Sometimes you just have to start from somewhere and God can elevate you from there.
mikaael: Thanks I already passed the written interview which afforded me the opportunity of one on one interview with the HR team....just waiting for the results
Your experience will count towards your employment with them, they knew you won't require too much training to be inducted unlike the new comers. Don't worry about your 3rd class once you are sure you're productive during your last 3yrs.
matt97367: Thank you very much for your answer sir
The cost is pretty much settled and by the grace of God that wont be an issue The only thing hindering me is the fact that I'll have to waste the 3 years spent here So I want to be sure its was worth it I met a consultant here in my school that advised me against it, telling me doctors are better paid and treated here in nigeria than the countries people go to.
But from your answer you say it's easier for medical doctors that studied abroad to secure jobs abroad So it's significantly harder for doctors that studied in Nigeria to secure jobs abroad?
thank you very much for your response
That your consultant can lie ooo, doctors are better treated everywhere in the world in naija. Abeg japa
Sebastine1994: I doubt I am the father of my baby, I find it really hard. Neither my wife nor I are fair complexioned, but where did my baby get this fair skin. I have called my wife aside to ask her some really deep questions, which she would give me some insult as reply. she would accuse me of drinking too much.
The baby does not resemble her dad but a neighbor in our old compound. I have always suspected that man.
I am depressed, i would save up for DNA test, if the girl is not my child, I may do something stupid. .
I have done my research, there is no history of fair skin in either my family nor my wife. even her mother is shocked.
what should I do, I need advice, lalasticlala mynd44 seun Dominique.
should I call a family meeting between between both families to table this matter.
Go and do your home work first before calling family members.
AdeniyiA: If God wants to uplift and promote an apprentice He allows the master to misbehave thereby unintentionally advertising the apprentice.
Even TB Joshua was advertised by the so called long time clergy in the vineyard, Jesus Christ was advertised by the scribes, the teachers of the law.
When you think you have sang all the songs and someone just showed up to sing what everybody loves and listens to, and by that relegating your music to the background, albeit momentarily, you feel your relevance waning, then envy creeps in and devil steps in to cause a storm in your soul, then u begin to misbehave
Thanks for this piece.
I was shocked to see the video by Tope Alabi saying that trash. Am glad she quickly take it back. She was jealous unknowingly and she let the devil crept into her
AkalaJ: If you could hustle to gather together that much money in Nigeria, why not hustle even more to keep multiplying it in the same Nigeria? Every other country will present its own set of challenges in terms of starting from scratch, fitting into a new society, getting your 'papers/stay', etc. Just saying.
Tell him oooo, this guy is belly full already and now looking for someone to deflate it for him in other words.
omolola100: My mother advice me never to look for a rich man who is well do whenever i'm set to get married. she said i should marry a man that we will both start our life from the foundation, according to my mum, she said it is better to suffer with man to acquire wealth, than to go for a ready made soup.
Looking at the way things are going now, do you think a woman will now stoop so low and marry a poor man that is trying to make ends meet? Although, money is not love, but why would a parent wish her daughter to marry a poor man, i am begining to see my mum as a bad mother who does'nt wish me well. Is it advisable i follow my mothers advice? I should stay in SURULERE instead of OLORUNSOGO.
My question for you is,ARE YOU DAMN RICH YOURSELF? If the answer is yes then your good to follow your heart and if its No I don't know what to say to you.
