God1000: They will not invest oo, always partying and throwing money around, he will understand later in future
Exactly my thoughts, and when they are in any medical situation they start disturbing Nigerians for support and throwing tantrums why they're not helping
ahnie: He told me what he needed and did the transfer into my account,I thanked him and went to sit down, only for the man to call me back and handed me a dollar like flier.
In my isoko mind...I think say na real dollar, and quickly chook ham inside my apron I don use my isoko mind calculate how I go take go meet some aboki make them change ham for me...
Only to find out say na heavenly dollar the man gave me.
Of a truth...I was disappointed but I just console myself say, wetin go be go be
So many people here poured accolades on me for not being ashamed of what I do for a living and thanked me for being real.
Some said I too like money ...who no like legit money?
Other slide into my DM making enquiries on how to start the business. I got tons of mentions.
If I nor hustle like this...no body go dash me money.
Then a certain individual contacted me...prompting to know more about me and my business,I was even thinking say na scammer.
I gave him heads-up to go thru my diary, and if he wants to know if m genuine or faking it. To God be the glory, this evening this individual sent me 50k.
The beautiful part was...he was even praying for me and my business,he prophesied great things into my life. I was just crying like a baby.
God used him to put smiles on my face and to give my business a lift. There are angels on nairaland.
I m still accepting gifts o,in case you want to support my hustle ....kikikikiki
To cap it all.... mariaangeles aka mariaGINGLES also gifted me 10k.i was shocked, like babe ..why me? Like she literally had to tell Mr snowland to pass her own share of 10k to me.
Thank you so much mariaGINGLES... you're more than a friend. I appreciate.
ahnie: I was hustling in my roadside conglomerate jejely on sunday when this sleek GLK Ash colour pulled by and a very clean good looking chocolatey man wound down the glass and politely signal me to come.
I'm always in my best behaviour whenever I m attending to my customers, even to some of my frustrated customers. My phonetics go change like say na Britain dem born me, but na packaging, market gimmicks.
So I went to him, curtsey and greeted him. He placed his orders, then I calculated the total for him and he asked if I accept transfer.
I told him yes, called out my bank details to him, minutes later I got confirmation on my account.
I proceeded and packaged all he ordered for, I handled the purchases to him, bid him bye and returned back to my conglomerate
Okay for the records...I m an akarapreneur, if the English is too big for you to comprehend.... I dey fry akara for roadside na wey dey pay my bills. You gerriit?
I thought he had driven away...he called me back again, as a good Isoko woman, I went back to meet him smiling sheepishly.
From his personality I could tell...say na pastor he be or amongst the committee of sherikokos (deacon).
He stretched forth his hand and handed a dollar like mint paper to me and he said....sister Jesus loves you, God would prosper your business.
I said amen, in my mind I was thinking he gave me a real dollar bill, I quickly put it inside my apron and I was overly sweet to his proclamation.
I don even calculate how to go block all those bereau de change abokis for ogbogonogo market.
Then he drove off ...I was so happy, thinking I yaff hammered.
E later clear from my eyes when I brought my supposed dollar out and found out that, what he gave me was just an ordinary handbill wey them draw Jesus Christ put.
Funny thing was...he had about 5 heavenly currencies with him, he had wanted giving me the 5 p6, but the sister seated at the front seat told him to give me only one.
I was even dissing her in my Isoko mind, for wanting to pour sand inside my garri, I nor know say she was just been a SIMPle lady saving me from the impending shock.
Sis, may God bless you abundantly. Shey una see my life?
As for those that would bash me for not going to church on Sunday...Newsflash...I don't give a rat scrotum, so save your strength. I no come beg you for food, leave me for Jesus let him judge me.
If I come beg you money, you nor go give me So allow me use wetin I get, to get wetin I want.

At the bolded yes most times true but the later not necessarily true as I have seen people with no prior travel experience been issued visa plenty of times.
I will say your first assertion was more accurate.
sthar: My husband and I have not had the best relationship. The past two years has been really tough for us, we've had to struggle to make this marriage work. Although we have two kids, My husband talks down on me all the time.
He calls me an ordinary female, a useless creation and believes he owns me. He believes women should not have a freewill and are properties to their husbands. He calls himself my Alpha and omega. I sometimes wish he would hit Me rather than say all sorts to me. Last week he started as usual. He called me names and Went on to talk about how he would teach me a lesson someday. I really don't know what came over me. I slapped him.
I s.wear it wasn't intentional, I didn't mean to hit him. I thought he would hit me back but he did not. It's been a whole week and he acts like nothing happened. He goes about playing with the kids , he greets me and makes sure we have food to eat too , but it is so unlike him.
My husband always reports to my parents. He tells them everything I do wrong and they always end up calling a meeting. But this time he's silent , he doesn't want sex too which Is so unlike him. I don't know what to do , I feel like he's planning to hurt me really big. I want to call my parents but everyone would blame me. How do I tell the world I slapped my husband?
Just pack up your bags and move to your parents house before you chop some serious flogging soon
daifeanyi68844: I’m 25 and I met this lady 25 as well some months ago. We aren’t dating.
To cut the long story short, we had sex once that was three weeks ago, during the process, condom broke. I made sure she took a contraceptive immediately.
Yesterday, she told me she was pregnant. She said she went to the lab to do a hormonal test, which indicated she had a high prolactin level. It prompted her to also take pregnancy test which she said was positive. She showed me the hormonal test but not the pregnancy test result.
I thought she was lying about the pregnancy but then she asked me to get a misoprotol drug which I have gotten. She doesn’t seem worried or bothered about the whole thing. I don’t even know if she’s truly pregnant or if I’m the one responsible because she’s has been with different men according to her. I’m confused and don’t know what to do.
ghostboy: So guys what are the things or signs that can make you quit a relationship without looking back?
There are some signs we see in our partners that are easily ignored or overlooked, maybe because these signs don't affect your relationship with your partner or maybe you think with time your partner will change. But then there are the signs that can't be ignored or overlooked, so I'd like for you guys to share so people who exhibit some certain habit that's considered a redflag can readjust and learn to change some undesirable things about themselves.

Jayzel: I've been dating my beautiful damsel for over 6 years now (2015), she has been financially supportive to me when things were so rough for me untill now things are a bit balance, since when our relationship kickoff we have never fought for once, we do argue most~times and later in the day we settle it inside our bedroom at night, she's so respectful and honest to both me and my family members.
There's a pretty damsel working in a UBA bank close to my residencial area here in Oniru Lekki, when I do return every~day from my working place I do branch at the bank to save some money in my account, the lady is my favourite cashier so I do give her the money and take my leave, so later in the day she will transfer the money into my account without no delay at all. But yesterday she called me on phone that she wanted us to hang out together (today being sunday) that all bills & expenses on her. I'm seriously confused now.
I still love my current girlfriend and i don't wanna hurt her feeling's, plz help out peers.
That appears like a trap to me. I smell something bad

For the beams, I understand but expansion joints within a single column? Damn. That is no expansion joint and I pity those who believe this fvckery.
Thank you I was about saying same thing, that man that issued that statement should be investigated and infact reprimanded by civil engineering authorities. Thats a column and not expansion joint for God's sake. This is a disaster waiting to happen.
Am not a civil engineer ooo but this people need to stop taking us for granted.
FirefliesSun: we have known each other for over 15 years.
Still mind your business.
What of if they're planning a surprise for your friend? How can you conclude they're into romance without concrete evidence? Mind your business before calamity befall you oooo. My cent
jarvis4: Examples sir Cos one thing I have come to know in this life when it comes to the issues of job is that there are no steps....
I will use myself as one example. In 2004 precisely I graduated from lasu in Lagos, I was already in my late 20s and also completely confused of what next steps to take. But then I remembered at a time there was this conference organized by pastor sam adeyemi of daystar Christian center at oregun in ikeja lagos which centered around mentorship on different areas of life. Our current vice president was one of the facilitators of the program, I learned alot and I eventually applied some of the nudgets I took away from there.
Which is voluntary service, you heard me right. It took alot of prayers and courage to pencil down some companies name and start approaching them one after the other all around Lagos, Victoria Island precisely also with the help of a mentor i found during the program too. The rest was history but it wasn't an easy journey though I must confess, some of the ageless principles aren't written in gold but sometimes you just have to fashion out some idea that deals with your current situation and God will crown your effort.
As am typing am currently applying for my second degree in cloud computing which is completely different from my first degree business management with alots opportunities for scholarships and learning without any restrictions and proper guidance from experts in my choosing area.
In a nut shell I agree with you that most principles are not written but an abstract and you learned through others either by sharing their experiences or reading their books. The information is available somewhere ,someone had pass through your current situation and luckily some of these experiences had been documented somewhere. Before I forget I worked with more than three reputable IT firms on the island and Lekki axis as a solution architect before I left the country some years back and that affects my trajectory with my newly found career. I share your sentiment anyways, time are changing and it seems things are just getting harder in naija in particular. I pray we all find our foots someday.
Flahyuq: I have seen the funds sir Thanks so much May God continue to bless you sir Thanks so much for d word of advice and i promise to always remain a good boy
Flahyuq: Some temptations are very very hard to overcome....Here is what happened to me 10mins ago
I was on my way back from work not quite long with absolutely nothing in my stomach n nothing in my wallet n no hope of going to work tomorrow,i was pretty much thinking how i will cope tonight without food,na to just lay on bed dey count ceiling o till sleep carry me go oo,as soon as i reached my busstop,From bus top to my place is far n normally i was supposed to carry bike home but because sapa don choke me,i decided to cut corners n trek home . I haven't walked 5mins when i entered one corner n saw a little girl of about 15years holding bunch of 1k notes n counting them n at d same time searching her body frantically,i saw her almost reduced to tears,my guess was she lost part of d money used to send her on an errand,i just walked past her n mind my business n left her searching . Suddenly,i looked down n saw 1k note,i bent low n picked it,with this 1k,I'm sorted for tonight n tomorrow,i will just get like 3h food for tonight n will ahve enuf for tomorrow transport to work,i was happy within me,but then at d same time,I'm quite sure dz is d money this little girl is looking for, what will be her fate if she doesn't eventually see that money, what if she is beaten to stupor? What if d money is meant for something really urgent n serious??what if d money is tied to another person life?what if n what ifs?? . I had to just call d girl n gave her d money, she knelt down n thank me n left....deep down,i needed d 1k,but then I'm really glad i wasn't responsible for another person tears....i just smiled n walk on....this is a temptation that is hard to overcome but I'm really glad i overcame it . . Now I'm about to sleep with no food....but I'm glad i did one good If tonight was my last night on earth,Believe me,i would die happily

EXLOVER: Some years back i wanted to beat one of my female lecturer also, she always rude to me. On that very day, i went to her office very high, my mood was very rugged, she really humbled her self and even offered me a lift after
After that day, we banged till i left that school, non of my friends was away
VanuatuWycombe: I am happy you did, bro. Most NLs don’t know the sh*thole called Nig*r*a is a dead-end of the world. Nothing works there.
You're right bro.
Common COVID-19 palliative here was $3200 for each us and almost doubled for some household but our country can't even do anything for the citizens, meennnn am even afraid to come visit
VanuatuWycombe: Even at that, the 500k is too small. It’s because a lot of NLs don’t have that kind of job before that’s why they feel it’s big money (apologies, my NLs). As the OP starts earning the N500k so his expenditures too rise. OP would be comfortable with the pay but it’s going to be for a while.
Estonia is a bike away to you in Russia after your graduation. Your data sciences certificate can earn you minimum of €3,000 as a starter in Tallinn.
OP should go out and live in a saner environment. He would have conquered his country. Everything is going to be a work over for him anytime he returns home.
I have seen RCC pastor that was posted to COMMON East African country, he vowed never to return to Nigeria and said the worst is for the church to collect their job if they ask him to return. This country is in an everlasting darkness. God is not coming with light soon.
I bet you, companies like ExxonMobil Nigeria will come over there to head-hunt OP after his graduation and be ready to pay him more than double of N500k. That’s what most multinationals do, sourcing for key talents. If the OP misses the opportunity of escaping this gulag called Nig**ia, he is sitting on a looonnnng thing.
You said it all,I took a bold step 5yrs ago and I am glad I did
obajoey: u can always get a side gig that pays more than the 500k while studying in Russia from the comfort of your home.
The masters will open more better doors I believe.
But 500k na money o make I no lie
But that's less than my weekly income even as side gigs while studying here in the state, I will advise him to see into future not the current 500k . Who knows what will happen before buhari finish his tenure, that same amount might not be enough to take him home in 2023. Just saying
Mummiesgirls4: My trad marriage is on the 27 of this month I still have had no courage to tell him about my 3 other children. I am pregnant I am scared he will leave me if he find out that I have 3 other children, I love him so much he is my everything on earth and I am scared to loose him. I don't want to end up single with 5 children. But sometime I feel sad I cry at night and I just don't know what to do because the guilt is so much.
Don't risk jail term after marriage, tell him now before its too late
dopedan: Just saw my cgpa and I landed in 2.2 and my dad already told me not to bring bad result home I guess 2,2 is not so good and my dad is not someone that is understanding so how do i tell him?
Its not a bad result please dust your self and be a better person by proving everyone wrong with what you do with your life henceforth.
My case is an example I studied business administration in naija and finished with same grade but my life isn't stopped there.I started my second degree in cloud computing and almost done with high grade and 9 certifications, my post graduate studies is staring at me already all paid for by myself slow but steady. If i can do it,you can do it too, that's not an excuse and you can't undo what is done already.
Mylordmygod1: A beautiful afternoon to all nairalanders.
Firstly, my greatest fear when it comes to things of this world is 'women', That's why i don't want to break a womans heart in a way that i will be the one to recieve the blame.
I've been in a relationship with my girl for about 3years now, and each time my mum or friends ask me if i'm gonna marry her, my answer is always a capital letter NO.
Now, my mum is warning me to better let her go since i don't have the interest of marrying her. But the hard part is that i'v been promising this girl that i will marry her even when i'm 100% sure i won't marry her, and i don't no how to go about ending the friendship now.
Recently, i've been picking offences for minor isues, getting angry with her for no reasons, trying to give her signal, but none seems to be working, and its now like my anger is her source of happiness these days.
I really want to end the friendship now, but i want the blame to be on her side and not mine, how can i go about it?
ADVICE ME WELL
Thanks.
You're a pure devil,I am not holding anything back from telling you the truth. In your statement you said you knew all along that it won't lead anywhere but you continue to lead her on with no marriage in your plan. You need to fear God and remember what goes around comes around, someday you will have a daughter too or even your own blood sister. Your mother was right to tell you to let her off your hook in time so she can move on with her life. My answer for you is simple, tell her in simple term the same way you told her when you first met her that you are the best thing ever happened to her and make her fall for you. Don't put any blame on her, please man up bro
