I guess u didnt hear the 2 planes in the fleet developed engine fault in Uganda just 2weeks or so ago. . .

U want us to go through the trauma of the polish ppl before we buy brand mew planes for our leaders?. . ,

and the planes are not only for the president but for the use of the senate, leadership and house of rep leadership
I always like a good debate, The polish president did not die because of the plane, they died because the pilots did not listen to Air Traffic Control, and decided to land during hazardous weather conditions! Lets get facts straight--- Despite that any plane can develop issues at any time, no matter how new or old the plane is or how much is spent on it. Planes go down every day- even the Airliners go down!  Fact still remains the same- it is waste full spending, and that money can be used else where, So where do you think money  will come for the elections??  That should not even be a question !
dOESNT oBAMA HAVE HIS air force 1/2 and so on. . . ?

So let my president be. . .let him have the best jet.  .and stop calling the president aides goons. . .

In Nigeria we are Kings n Queens not goons(whatever that means) okay. . Thats how we roll ,  i dont know about u. . . .

PEEP this. . . We respect our leaders. . . Now thats Gangster. . .lol
Last time I checked we share the same President, ( so I am un sure what you are talking about) Every President in every  country has their own aircraft but not very often do you hear of them purchasing new ones unnecessarily, especially when funds are needed for more important matters. Its not about having the best, it is truly about the better of the country. I belive that is the oath that he took when he inherited the presidency!   Goons is what I called them, and I stand by that statement- Those planes are not being purchased for official use. Bottom line when waste full spending is controlled in Nigeria, then perhaps we will see a better country all the way around!!
Politics › Re: Nigeria To Buy More Presidential Jets by Ladyjide(f): 2:12am On Aug 12, 2010
Also there is nothing wrong with the Presidential planes being bought

if they have been budgeted for in this yrs appropriation bill, what exactly is the big deal?

Or do u prefer them to budget for planes and then not buy it and the money dis-appears?

Finally the planes are a national asset. . .it will be there for the next president to use. . . cool
The big deal is that the money should have originally been allocated to something else, especially a place now calling for the raise of debt just to fund something as simple as Elections! Elections is something that is way more important than the luxurious transportation of the president and his goons! The planes are not a national asset, as they loose value the same as anything else, especially a plane as extravagant as a jet!!!
But you can LURE a man to be where he doesn't want to be although it is a risky leap.
My sister- I am just an out sider looking in, but when it involves something so precious as a child- it isn't even worth the risk!! As women we are left holding the bag!!! You will be the one that takes care of the child if he leaves, clothe the child, feed the child, and honestly he can walk away tomorrow and be ok!! Yet you are the one with the ultimate responsibility of that child- it isnt fair but life isnt fair sometimes!  Despite the precious gift that was born out of it- you will honestly never get what you first sought, and if you do it will be a lie. There is a saying I use sometimes "IF you can't accept the truth- you are living a lie"! If you cant accept the fact that he doesn't want you  then  you will not fully get the happiness that you deserve.  I know it isnt easy but for your own piece of mind >>Move on!!
Romance › Re: Why Are Some Women Afraid Of Commitment ? by Ladyjide(f): 11:32pm On Aug 11, 2010
Some women are afraid of commitment because we do not like to give our hearts away only to have them broken! Some times, it is almost best to stay alone in order to keep a piece of mind!

Romance › Re: Pretty, Good Character, Sound Education: Then What? by Ladyjide(f): 2:23pm On Aug 11, 2010
dboss4life:
A woman having a good character, pretty and good education does not really guarantee that she will get a good husband because these days men are somehow becoming scared of marrying educated women because of the horrible experience those who are into it tell.

If u can be honest to urself burkittes, u will find out that most educated women are hardly submissive to their man, they will always want to prove to their man that they too know it all and the fact remains that their cannot be two captains in a ship.

I will to tell u that with all sense of responsibilities that once a woman is completely submissive to a man, she will marry in time, be happy and have a very lovely and peaceful home.

So its not just about education, pretty or good character, its all about being completely submissive to your man.
So was I correct in saying that men these days are looking to the less educated one's first because they feel they are more submissive? In my personal situation what you are saying about educated women is untrue- I belive submissiveness deals a lot with upbringing and the way you were raised. If you are handling your household well as a man- me as a woman will fall in to that roll of submission. but should us women be submissive to some of you men who aren't even willing to make a simple commitment to us or take on the complete responsibilities of what being a strong man entails?

Well as I guess you can see now that getting pregnant does not guarantee a relationship or marriage. You cant force a man to be where he doesn't want to be. Allow him to be in your childs life, but I would move on to someone who truly loves you!
