Practical Teachings for Practical Living - not bad |
Goshen360: ^@OLAADEGBU the UNRELENTING! He is set in his ways It is a sign of the End-Times |
OLAADEGBU: Your heart is filled with joy to see people stealing from God? May God have mercy on you. Majority don't always get it right. One with God is a majority as the antidiluvians found out. 8 people voted Yes while the rest of the world voted No. Guess who was right at the end of the day?I have enjoyed this thread tremendously - I have also noticed the flippant use of false doctrine delivered with clever antics. please carry on, it benefits humanity to be wiser than not. I shall reconnoiter shortly.. this battle-field looks bloodless ![]() |
Victor M: The manifesto is supposed to be in place and should be rolled out the same day the party was formed/merged. They didn't just woke up one morning and merged. They have been sitting and talking. Lets be sincere to ourselves, Those that merged don't even trust themselves. They are not sure of themselves either. They have different agendas for coming together to come out with such blueprint will be very hard if not impossible. They might be wiser than me but they are not wiser than GEJ, OBJ, Alex Ekuweme, Rotimi Amechi and other PDP stalwarts. I'm not a fan of PDP but APC is certainly not the answer!!!APC is not the answer but the idea is? well there is little choice between a rock and a hard-place. it must forge on. pity when these experiments fail to deliver substantial democratic benefits, a generation of youths unborn suffer for it, as we suffer for the mistakes of our founding fathers |
Good Lawd. I am old.. actually feels familiar.. I think i started seeing in Color after 1980.. this is where i belong ![]() |
it is obvious... (going by our NL political brainiacs) as a people we have hardly risen above vain ethnic bigotry. We are like ethno-racist parasites leeching on socially-honest Nigerians; Nigerians who truly seek a Unifying Ideology of Nationhood. It is this sort of acrimonious discourse that quickly fogs the mind and psyche of any unfortunate person who is ill-opportuned to soak up the dribble on this thread (no offense to non-bigots). This generation is truly tainted by the misdeeds of our founding fathers. We have not made any attempt at reconciliation, rather we continue to fan the flames of ethnic-bigotry, blissfully ignorant of history, earnestly stupid in our hypocritical attempts at social justification and painfully wasteful at building a worthy legacy having risen from the ashes of our unfortunate colonial origins. We need to unshackle ourselves from the selfish yearnings of figures fast-waning with the painful nuances of history. if it does not make you your brother's keeper, it will make you your brother's killer. The sooner we get off this train-ride to civil conflict, the better (otherwise it will be us on CNN) |
define hard and how hard.. pitiful buffoons |
I do it for health reasons.. never knew people had such deeper reasons than that ![]() |
To avoid being banned, please ensure that your post is not offensive to Islam. This is a tall order - but I will attempt to. ![]() The Holy Quran is an important part of a Muslim's life from Childhood to Adulthood. If a 3-yr old has been able to memorize it by heart then it is a good thing no? there are many adult Muslims who fail at Islam simply because they have not had the benefit of Understanding and Interpretation (or worse set in their ways on incorrect doctrine). this often leads to the kind of acrimony popularized in the Western Media. so I say good show for this young prodigy. Am I still alive? |
well well... the cockroaches are crawling out of the woodwork now sharing formula so now we know what their true intentions are.. this is the same move PDP made following the NADECO MDD experiment. you can change the monkey but he is still a primate. the genes of corruption flow still in this APC conundrum |

Reference: Interesting. Just that we seem yet to understand that our nourishment lies not in the values of alphabet soup nor the chefs who stir them but in the institutions they create.well said |
take dat: Meaning? There is no such Leader in the midst of Vultures. in other words, While Good Leaders exists, they cannot fare well in the overwhelming midst of Bad Leaders. As a Leader you cannot do well without your Followers supporting you all the way. go figure |
Leave Talk for Migrating Birds in the Winter joor. APC is a Political Solution not an Ideological one. If its primary purpose is to topple the Ruling Party, fine but what about the foundational, underlying Sociopolitical dissonance these (once-hotly aggressive) rivals had. did it just disappear for some National Ideology? will it spring up inevitably in the various congress gatherings.. love to see how Ndigbo pan out |
I am just about to get my very first house-help (tonight) from Cotonou and i am terrified. i have heard nasty stories about house-helps. I believe that if you are going to use a house-help, you can at least sponsor her education in a nearby school have her learn a trade. but being a humane employer does not always mean you get equal treatment in the end, we are all human beings with Character and Personality issues and for an under-aged nanny, the issues are naturally immature and mostly (dangerously) extreme. i have heard accounts of nannies knife-stabbing their employer's kids out of repressed anger over her inability to pick up the kids from school on time. she worked so hard and typically sleeps until it is way beyond her time to pick up the kids. fortunately the neighbors rushed the kids to the nearest hospital before it became fatal. what about rat-poison in the babies meal or molestation when you are not around. i mean they are humans and so far away from their parents.. it is not an easy decision considering the gaps I am about to create in her childhood years. |
you can train monkeys to steal, it is not new.. you can even train people to steal ![]() |
kokoA: If a man trully realizes his mistakes and begs for forgiveness, he should be forgiven just as our father in heaven forgives us uncountable number of times. That is what true christianity teaches. El-rufai goofed, I personally was disappointed but he came to his senses and apologised. Who am I not to forgive him? Let God be the Judge of all. For CAN to still be talking over this issue after the man had apologised makes me wonder..Are we really practicing what we preach?so he slaps you twice in quick succession then says, I am sorry, then slaps you again and says I AM REALLY SORRY ![]() |

truly early days... Yekini was an accomplished goal poacher asides that he can turn a loose ball into a blistering goal opportunity in the blink of an eye. even on one foot, Yekini stood like a tree. and for a tall dude he was agile |
Motion Kali: Please nairaland users how can we fight corruption in our country Nigeria? Please we need your contribution.Corruption is not the evil we should be fighting-- a greater evil resides in our significant ability to accept and condone corruption on a daily basis. when you can fight your implicit acceptance of corruption the battle is already won |
J12: Is lagos the only state in Nigeria? It is.. why do you think the population is increasing by the hundreds every day - all from other states |
