Can you back up your claims in bold?

What trump up charges were levelled against Awolowo and how many months/years did Awolowo spend in jail

We dont need to tell blatant lies just to prove a point
Dont mind these people, its like some people overhear conversations on the bus and come to NL to post it as facts. Buhari jailed public officials of the 2nd republic, Awolowo was not a public official in the 2nd republic as he lost the election to Shagari.

By the way he never jailed Awolowo like you have claimed here, Awo passport was siezed period!!. It was the government of ironsi or Gowon that jailed Awo if i am not mistaken.

This is what we need a leader that has the guts to send IBB to jail, the guts that will send shivers down all the looters who have failed to let us progreess.

All these unnecceassary sentiments being sprewed does not remove the fact that we have to move foward. The arrest of these men whose egos have failed to move Nigeria foward should not stop us from progressing.

@topic.

That is the writers opinion and he is entitled to it . Responsible adults can read the opinion of others and make what they want of it . This writers opinion does not amount to empirical condemnation of Ribadu and , in the minds of many, it still wont do enough to now make them see Buhari as better than Ribadu.

If I remember correctly , Wole Soyinka wrote glowingly praising Ribadu as the man for the job while he scathingly rejected Buhari for our number one position. It is the same for many progressives. They simply won't embrace Buhari regardless of the campaign of calumny against Ribadu.
Very true words you spoke about opinion, in every political debate everyone inclines to an opinion. In a govt without PDP in April , it would be great for CPC and ACN to all work together for a better Nigeria.

Hilary and Obama were engeged in more bitter fights both are working together today for the good of the US.
PoliticsRe: South West: Between Ribadu And Buhari by Lagosboy(op): 2:35pm On Mar 29, 2011
It continues . . .

The final straw for me was the widely reported visit of Ribadu accompanied by Bisi Akande to the hilltop mansion of IBB to seek his endorsement for the 2011 election. He received IBB’s generous endorsement for a generational change. Something is clearly not right as Ribadu spent close to two years in Europe and the US campaigning against corruption in Nigeria, speaking about how former leaders squandered billions, how everything was wrong with Nigeria and how Nigeria was in the hands of a selfish cabal. That the same Ribadu now chose to seek the support of a person he had previously castigated is hypocritical in the least.

The generational change being talked about is not a new phenomenon as in the last 12 years. Lots of young people have been governors, ministers and held other plum positions, but allegations of corruption have been thrown at most of them. Saminu Turaki was governor at the age of 36, Orji Kalu was governor at 39, Dimeji Bankole was speaker at 37, Fani Kayode was a minister in his 40s. As the list could go on, so is the case with allegations of corruption and bad administration hanging on their necks. Corruption knows no age and the political will to effect change is not a age thing; a good administrator will be good at 30 and still, be good at 70. I belong to the young generation but at this delicate time in Nigeria’s history, a competent and capable man is what is required.

Since Ribadu´s campaigns has been focused on change and the belief that that the common people could make a change, I wonder why he could not stick to the common people of Niger state instead of seeking the support of a man widely regarded as the one who legalised corruption in Nigeria. More strange was the absence of Tinubu at the visit which depicts his smartness and political sagacity as such appearance might be a political suicide for him in the South West.

Here again, something comes to mind and this is the well-known knowledge on how Tinubu and his boys reportedly fled from Edo state about six months ago on hearing that they were to share a podium with IBB. Is it not contradictory and inconsistent for the same ACN to go visit the same IBB? The same IBB they refused to share a podium with and more strangely this visit was in his home of which he hosted them to lunch.

Nigeria at this juncture requires a consistent leader we know exactly what he stands for. A leader whose words could be taken to the bank and a leader whose support base is not in the hands of a few politicians. Buhari and Bakare appear to be two honest men who posses these qualities and have shown consistency of purpose, sincerity of actions and integrity of character.

The people of the southwest, can we please vote for Buhari and Bakare, whom, we can all confidently say their godfather is the Igbo woman who gave the BB-campaign cars because during the PTF days, she was awarded contracts without ever bribing anyone or seeing Buhari. The BB2011 godfathers are the almajiri and talakwas in the north who identify with the man that has stood by them while others have abandoned them. Buhari´s godfather is the manager of today who benefited from PTF activities while at the university in the mid 90s; his godfather is the common man in the south east village where PTF´s built hospital is still the only hospital in the village. In fact Buharis godfather is you and me and his allegiance will also be to you and me and not the selfish power drunk godfathers.

We should be wary of wolfs who come to us in sheep’s clothing, people who pretend to be what they are not and in El Rufais words “Ribadu is my friend and I know his limitations . .” El Rufai who is Ribadu´s close friend chose to support the Buhari Bakare ticket for a reason of which he has stated. I urge the good people of the south west to vote en masse for Buhari Bakare for a genuine change to come to Nigeria. The BB2011 ticket needs our support for victory; they need our swing-vote in this election, therefore, my appeal is that the good people of the South West should vote for the general who has done it before and can do it again.
PoliticsRe: South West: Between Ribadu And Buhari by Lagosboy(op): 2:33pm On Mar 29, 2011
It appears that Ribadu also showed such tendecious traits in Bode George’s saga. This issue was examined by one Mr Abudugana. As cited in his piercing article, Feb 2007,  Nuhu Ribadu as EFCC chairman granted an interview to the The News magazine during which he stated that, “Olabode George was never an executive officer of NPA. He was a part-time Chairman. It is the Executive Managing Director who runs the place; it was the MD’s name that appeared in all the contract papers of NPA. Olabode George was a part-time Chairman whose name was never on any contract paper”.

I marvel, upon the  the pronouncement by Justice Olubumi Oyewole which sentenced Olabode George to a deserved two years imprisonment without an option of fine, Nuhu stated that the ruling “is a measure of the shamelessness of our elite and the institutions that fuel their values. That Chief George could be awarded a national honour in our country and that he could later sue some newspapers for libel on account of the damming indictment report I prepared against him.”

The foregoing makes Ribadu guilty of capricious speaking; therefore, we have to wonder what could have changed in Ribadu within the last three years. Is the change due to the fact that Ribadu was only playing to the gallery of OBJ when he exonerated Bode George? Only Ribadu can answer this question.

Ribadu’s inconsistency is also shown on his romance with Bola Tinubu. The GEJ team accused Ribadu of lacking integrity by forming bonds with Tinubu while he talked of his corruption being of international dimension. Ribadu was asked a direct question by Kadira Ahmed in the debate on NN24, if Ribadu was able to exonerate Tinubu of corruption of any kind.  Ribadu answered by saying he had enormous regards for Bola Tinubu and praised the latter without clearly saying “I can exonerate Bola Tinubu of any kind of corruption” which should have been the reply to Kadira´s direct question.

The issue of Dame Jonathan it is of public knowledge and I will also like to paraphrase from the article. Our attention was brought to a case with suit number FHC/ABJ/M/340/06, filed on August 21, 2007 at the Federal High Court, Abuja. As indicated in this file, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu-led EFCC named Mrs. Patience Jonathan, wife of Goodluck Jonathan, as an accomplice in the N104million-money laundering case involving one Mrs. Nancy Ebere Nwosu. The amount in question was stated in this file to be laundered on the order of Mrs Patience Goodluck into a First Bank of Nigeria account number 3292010060711 held in the name of Nansolyvan Public Relations Limited by one Hanner Offor.

Another interesting document is the EFFC’s affidavit used in supporting the above mentioned suit’s originating summons. In this document, Ofem Uket, the then EFCC prosecuting officer declared, “Our investigations revealed that Mrs. Patience Jonathan, wife of the Governor of Bayelsa State, was the person who instructed one Hanner Offor to launder the said sum of N104, 000, 000 into the account of Nansolyvan Public Relations Limited with First Bank of Nigeria Plc (FBN), Niger House, Marina, Lagos”.

Fast forwarding to 2010 and Ribadu said “I never handled a case against Patience Jonathan, never; it’s a lie. You know it is so sad because in our country this is how we go about maligning people. But today thank God I am not in his government. So, I can open up and talk. If I were to say it earlier people would have thought that I was looking for job from President Goodluck Jonathan. I am not looking for anything. But the truth must be told.” (The Nation, September 16, 2010). Clearly, someone is being economical with the truth regarding this issue. We can establish Patience was not the directly accused person but was an accomplice as stated in the suit. It is very strange for Ribadu to insist he had never handled any case involving the president’s wife.
PoliticsSouth West: Between Ribadu And Buhari by Lagosboy(op): 2:32pm On Mar 29, 2011
http://www.nigeriavillagesquare.com/articles/guest-articles/change-2011-the-south-west-dilemma.html

Extracts from an article with the link above, you could go read it from the begining.

I have chosen to address this article to the people of the South West because besides being the bastion of Nigerian intellectuals and where our nation’s economic nerve centre is located, it has the 2nd largest voting bloc in the nation. Also, this region contains the largest number of swing-votes in this election. It is therefore imperative that we vote our conscience and cast our votes based on the antecedents of these leading candidates. Since achieving this might require acquaintance with the personalities of these candidates, it is only desirable that we examine the political antecedents of the candidates.

To start with, Mallam Mallam Nuhu Ribadu antecedents will be firstly examined.  I have seen Ribadu talk in forums in the UK and could not but admire him for his courage and passion for change in Nigeria. Ribadu is that man who, during Obasanjo’s reign, fought corruption with rare vigour, although many are of the opinion that he was selective in his approach. Regardless of one’s take on his approach, he made efforts which should be commended. However, I have become increasingly disillusioned and confused by his actions in recent times. One of this recent developments which made me grow disenchanted with Ribadu was a speech  which he delivered in Abuja at the launch of a book, entitled: ‘Nigeria: Half a Century of Progress and Challenges’  by Constance Ikokwu, a Deputy Editor with Thisday Newspapers.

Ribadu said, “this is a rich country, 12 years, how much do you think we earn in this country. We earn over $400billion. That money is enough to change Nigeria. That money is wasted.

“That money is with few people. That money is with PDP. They messed up. This is a country 12 years they have been in government, they brought bombs and kidnapping to us. We didn’t know all those things before. We cannot say 12 years is too small to make meaningful impacts in people’s lives. That is totally unfair.

“This is a country that is so rich in human and natural resources, those who are in charge mess and destroy our chance and possibility to gain a country that all of us will be proud of .Twelve years is big enough for you to make a change in the life of people”- The Nation, 23 March 2011.

Although these are statements of fact, is it not hypocritical of Ribadu to make such comments? Why? we may want to know. Nuhu was part and parcel of the PDP government for 4 of those 12 years and he prides himself as being part of OBJ’s economic team. Based on his role as a prominent member of this economic team, Ribadu has, on a number of occasions, stated that he has garnered the experience needed to rule the country.

If a Ribadu will laud his experience with one side of his mouth and then castigate PDP with the other side of his mouth, one may find that hypocritical. PDP made Ribadu what he is today and at the twilight of his days at the EFCC, he was full of praise for OBJ’s administration, an administration whose party’s “ 12 years [, ] in government, […] brought bombs and kidnapping to us. We didn’t know all those things before. We cannot say 12 years is too small to make meaningful impacts in people’s lives. That is totally unfair.” It seems Ribadu is guilty of speaking with both sides of his mouth. One may also contend that such unguided outburst smacks of opportunism than patriotism and further still, portrays him as a desperate politician who is trying to pull others down for him to rise up. El Rufai was able to articulate to Nigerians the reasons why he made a u turn, he accepted some mistakes were made and one cannot remember him castigating 12 years of PDP the way Ribadu has done. This tendency also reminds one of  Ribadu´s corruption list of 2007 that included Lanre Tejuosho, somone who never held any government position but whose crime was that he dared contesting against Iyabo Obasanjo.

But what i find extremely amusing is the penchant of the Pro Buhari to label any contradicting view of being anti democratic or PRO GEJ (cheapest cover). For 9ijaman to say that Nigerians were better off during Abacha regime is absolutely shameful and disgusting. How can a Nigerian who touts a progressive stance utter such rubbish. This is the height of someone trying to defend Buhari by praising Abacha . . So if Abacha was a life president and Buhari was still handling the PTDF war chest. we should all be smiling to the Ghadaffi of Nigeria .Damn

Please let's be sincere and open minded when we speaK.
But you could disprove him by telling us how many roads were constructed on the federal level in 5 years of Abacha and 12 years of PDP. He made mention of infrasrtucture, we are not talking of freedom of press or anything like that here. You guys forget that in the progressive camp there was a decision to support Abacha, they only made u turn when Abacha refused to hand over.

It was the same "progressives who went to tell Abacha to kick shonekan out" These people are just trying to put wool over our eyes.

There is nothing to gain from being loyal to a tyrant, you abuse the sensibilities of those who lost close ones under said tyrant when you make comments like Abacha never stole or go and attend memorial services for said tyrants. Buhari did not passively endorse Abacha till date he sees nothing wrong with that regime. I am happy you mentioned Osoba had to go beg for forgiveness, Jakande is still being treated like a leper for the mistake he made for serving under the tyrant and he is in my opinion a far greater administrator than Buhari. I am not holding Buhari responsible for the Abacha years but it is akin to holocaust deniers when he says Abacha never stole.

Contesting elections is not enough, Chris Okotie is a regular in that department. What has he done to show he has a passion for Nigeria? What is he doing to shed the autocratic image he has? He is unable to properly articulate he's plans to Nigerians yet we should vote for him, why? cos of the bland regime he ran in the 80's? It appears to me he wants power handed over to him by default without earning it (not too different from your average coup plotter) and you criticize Ribadu for working with Tinubu. I dont see you castigating Buhari for working on alliances with the same Tinubu!
Ribadu is been crticised not because he works with Tinubu , i bleieve anyone can work with anyone. Ribadu is being criticised because of what he is percieved to stand for and especially his statement of saying Tinubus corruption was of international dimension, only to go back on his words that Tinubu is not corrupt.

Even Saddam had people go for his burials, dude I just gave you an example of Lekan Abiola whos mother was killed by Abacha so dude i am not abusing sensibilities of anyone. I am simply stating the reality of today, Rewane son worked with Ibori in Delta state and there are rumours Ibori was used in clearing out Rewane. Ibori was used by Mustapha in those days especiaaly in 1995/1996 and the same Ibori funded the camopaign of Yaradua whose brother was killed by abacha. See i could go on and on, many things go on behind the scenes people dont see and my only issue here is the hypocricy of the so called nadeco people.

Buhari said a statement which personally I never liked, regarding corruption and Abacha but I am impressed by the forthrightness of the man. He stands for whatever he believes in and does not bend his principles and beliefs to score points like Ribadu is doing now. ACN ran away from Edo state 6 months ago because IBB was there and the same ACN goes to the okija shrine of corruption in Minna to have lunch.

See if you are red let us know you as red , dont paint yourself as white so people will vote for you. We are no fools !

You dont have to vote Buhari and my post was at Gbawe for saying has passed the age,and showering praises for the so called anti abacha people.

@Gbawe

You seem to be forgetting that a good and efficient Leader would always and forever be a an efficient leader. A leader needs to be visonary and able to galvanise a team to deliver. Buhari is not the one to write the policies of the modern Nigeria , all these policies exists already but he has the vision AND THE POLITICAL WILL to be able to implement these policies.

You emphasise the same thing everyday that Buhari did nothing for 25 years. Twice he he contested an election within 12 of those 25 years. Buhari is not the type that does shows in the media , true he is not the typical politician , true he has some weaknesses but what is not true is his inablility to be an efficient president because he has been inactive for "25 years". John kuffour position is nothing but an errand boy to push ahead US policies. Check out how the organisation he heads is funded, you cannot compare him with Buhari or Buhari participating in such and it is called principles.

Buhari worked for Abacha and the PTF was the best thing under the Abacha govt because of Buhari. Several guys in ACN also worked with Abacha , participated in the Abacha charade called election. Osoba actively participated in the CNC under Abacha and he had to go postrate and beg Abraham Adesanya in 1998 to accept him back into its fold. Oyinlola has consistently told us of how Tinubu was romancing him to be his deputy in 1994 while he was the military governor under Abacha. I have lots of inside information on this because i have friends whose parents were hounded by Abacha. Kudirat was killed by Abacha today her son is with Buhari and it is for a reason. Lekan Abiola has being with Buhari since 2006 and it is for a reason, the hypocricy of the so called "anti abacha people". Charougi was Abachas buddie in siphoning money and passing money to be used for surpressing Nadeco, today Chagouri is Tinubus close business partner. Dont let us spill beans that are needless. No one suffered from Abacha like the Abiola family, OBJ , Yaradua , Rewane and a host of others. All these useless people parading themselves as anti abacha people were abroad flying all about.

Ask Olabiyi Durojaiye where he stands on this issue, durojaiye spent close to four years in prison on Abacha. Kudirats money was used by Nadeco , today her son could not even be allowed to run in primaries under the so called "progressives". I dont blame Tinubu it is Adesanya and Falae i blame because assuming they allowed the tru winner of the Lagos primaries in 1999 which was Funsho williams to emerge , Tinubu would not be runnig LAgos like his company. It was in Falaes house in VI that Williams was begged by Falae to step down for Tinubu because Tinubu was nadeco. Today Tinubu has relegated Falae to nothing. How can i forget Ganiyu Dawodu the then chairman of LAgos AD, Ayo Adebanjo.

OBJ was in prison for 4 years and that did not stop him from working with "Abacha politicians" and people Anenih, was with abacha, Madueke was with Abacha in those days and we could go on and on.

What i like about Buhari is we know where he stands, I hate Abacha but Buhari and Wada Nas were the only people we worked with Abacha and never tried to condemn him because he was dead. Buhari will not try to score cheap political points and such things is what people term rigidity. Ribadu dined with OBJ and within 3 years he is castiggating the whole pdp of 12 years while he is part of the 12 years.

Its ok to eat from a christians or jews house as long as the 'meat' is slaughtered in the name of Allah (in my area almost all slaughter house are run by muslims, so no worries). I think you misunderstood our posts as we should not eat at all, no its not like that, its the 'meat' thats the issue. In case you ve doubts about the 'meat' there is a simple solution, be a vegetarian for a few hours. ; ) Avoid meat stuff.
Brother, please when the ayah in Q5 v 5 was revealed there was no condition in the verse that says "as long as it was slaughtered in the name of Allah" . How would it be possible if the Christian concept of God is different. Please let us shed aside sentiments. One is allowed to eat meat offered by a christian in his home and you simply pronounce the name of Allah on it.

This does not mean you shouldnt buy halal food for your own house, this does not mean you should not tell your xtian friend that you prefer halal meat either.

I have given example of the Prophet eating the food of a jew which should put to rest this issue IMO.

Dear LB,
Please can you help give some insight on what Islam says about forgiving people/actions/wrong.

The impression I have (please correct me) is that 'an eye for an eye' is the rule rather than the excepton.

Enlightenment please .

Thank you as always.
Apologies for the late reply , I have been busy supporting the BB2011 campaign on the various forums.

However, i see my able bros and sisters have all answered the question with all the verses of the quran related. I have not watched the video but i trust it would have been educative.

In islam the norm is to forgive the faults of others as everyone seeks forgiveness from the lord of the worlds. Talking of eye for eye, largely deals with issue of deliberate crime like you relative was murdered and you seek justice. The case goes to trial and judge has the authority to prescribe capital punishment for the convicted murderer except the realtives of the victims choose to forgive and accept blood money.

Another example is someone rapes your sister and the case goes to court, clearly an eye for eye cannot apply here as you will be commiting another crime by raping the culprits sister.

The issue of eye for eye large appears in issue of crimes and persecution like wars and  sorts. When it comes to daily dealings between humans and someone offends you , Allah reccommends you forgive the sins and one of the qualities of a believer is to overlook the faults of others.

In summary the rule in islam is to forgive those who wrong you, however if it is a crime then the case should go to the judge if you have to claim something that rightly belongs to you or your right has been trampled upon. The justice of Allah tells us that on the day of Judgement everyone who has taken someone elses right would have it paid back to the person by way of his good deeds or bad deeds. We should deal with ourselves with the fear of God at all times.

Apologies for my hasty reply and i hope you got the jist of it. Feel free to inquire further if you want further information.

And God knows best

Please if a christian or a jew invites you , by all means visit him and eat with them in their house but not pork or alcohol or other haram food.

The prophet was invited by a Jewish woman and he accepted and ate with her albeit she poisoned the food and Prophet died s Martyr years later as a result of the poison. However, the inference to draw is that it is not unlawful to accept the invitation and not unlawful to eat with them.

We should stop all this holier than thou attitude without knowledge.

Apologies for my harshness, I have been busy on the poltiical section lately.
IslamRe: Christian And Muslim Are Not Enemies. by Lagosboy: 9:41am On Mar 29, 2011
I wonder why anyone will say you cannot eat the food of a christian when he invites yo to his home. Please i dont want to sound harsh but opening ones mouth to say anything in the name of Allah or islam without knowldge is a crime. Allah says clearly in Q5 v 5

[i]Made lawful to you this day are AtTayyibât [all kinds of Halâl (lawful) foods, which Allâh has made lawful (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, etc., milk products, fats, vegetables and fruits, etc.). The food (slaughtered cattle, eatable animals, etc.) of the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) is lawful to you and yours is lawful to them.[i]

Why would anyone say you cannot.

What is unlawful is if you know a meat has been sacrificed in the name of Sango during the sango festival or a food when slaughtered was sacrificed in the name of Jesus. As far as i know Christians do not sacrifice meat in the name of Jesus or in any name but just eat.

Let us thread a path of caution please

10 things to learn from Japan :

1. THE CALM
Not a single visual of chest-beating or wild grief. Sorrow itself has been elevated.

2. THE DIGNITY
Disciplined queues for water and groceries. Not a rough word or a crude gesture.

3. THE ABILITY
The incredible architects, for instance. Buildings swayed but didn't fall.

4. THE GRACE
People bought only what they needed for the present, so everybody could get something.

5. THE ORDER
No looting in shops. No honking and no overtaking on the roads. Just understanding.

6. THE SACRIFICE
Fifty workers stayed back to pump sea water in the N-reactors. How will they ever be repaid?

7. THE TENDERNESS
Restaurants cut prices. An unguarded ATM is left alone. The strong cared for the weak.

8. THE TRAINING
The old and the children, everyone knew exactly what to do. And they did just that.

9. THE MEDIA
They showed magnificent restraint in the bulletins. No silly reporters. Only calm reportage.

10. THE CONSCIENCE
When the power went off in a store, people put things back on the shelves and left quietly.

Strength of one's character is reflected in one's behaviour at the crucial moment.

Character of people is what makes the character of a nation. This is something that we should reflect upon and think about
PoliticsRe: I’m Ready To Die For Nigeria –obasanjo by Lagosboy: 9:01am On Mar 29, 2011
If baba fit die for nigeria no shaking, he should just take a stroll without security to Oshodi and see what people will do for Nigeria sake. Otherwise he should walk the streets of Sapon in Abeokuta and see what will happen to him.

PoliticsRe: A Revolution In The Making Buhari Bakare (Tears Of Joy) by Lagosboy: 8:47am On Mar 29, 2011
Why has this turned into a Sharia issue. Buhari has said times without numbers that anyone that thinks the whole Nigeria could be islamised as muslims must have his head examined.

Let us deal with real poltical issues and drop the shariah debate, Buhari has never said he is bring sharia to Enugu state. What is all the fuss about and the fuss is just a ploy to create a smokescreen on the ever crushing BB train which is crushing all the PDP obstacles on its way. It is not working as people are wiser now and BB2011 is becoming a reality day by day
PoliticsRe: Buhahahah! As Emirs, Northern Leaders Reject Buhari by Lagosboy: 8:22am On Mar 29, 2011
texazzpete:
Look at this muppet!

Your candidate GEJ goes around promising Northerners 'juicy positions' in his cabinet. He's made a pledge to step aside in 2015 for a Northerner. His godfather (Obasanjo) even hinted to all and sundry in the finale of his campaign that power will revert back to the North.
So what you're really jubilating about now is another 12 years of PDP misrule. 4 years for GEJ, then Sambo gets another 8 years (He's a northerner so it shouldn't be an uphill task like what Jonathan faces).

You clowns aren't weakening the north, you're appeasing them temporarily and strengthening them for the long run while simultaneously voting in the most corrupt party in Africa.

The smart people will vote for change. We'll use Buhari to sweep these PDP rascals away.

Join us now or be prepared to shamefully confess to your children how you helped to sabotage Nigeria's future.
A word is enough for the wise
PoliticsRe: The Cpc Campaign Rally In Benin - Images by Lagosboy: 8:19am On Mar 29, 2011
When people cannot differentiate between a townhall and a rally , there is a problem.

Can anyone show me a rally of GEJ with this kind of town hall crowd. This center is at least like 7 - 10,000 capacity. Each one goes home to convice his family members and friend and you have like 100000 votes from this alone. Easily Buhari can win 20% of votes in Edo state bearing in mind people in the northern Edo areas would massively vote for him.

The BB train would be hitting Lagos next week God willing and i will confirm the date when it has been finalised.

I am simply saying age of our leaders is not exactly the problem but the integrity of of our leaders. We have had young but terribly corrupt leaders who have failed the youths

PoliticsRe: Obaigbhena Gives Yinka Odumakin A Serious Upper Cut - U Once Begged Me For Money by Lagosboy: 4:24pm On Mar 28, 2011
I am core and unrepentant fanatic of the BB2011 train but i will state hear that i diagree with Yinka Odumakin going on the offensive of personal attacks on Nduka Obaeigbana. He had a right to disagree with the thisday polls and discredit it but to ask the ICPC to investigate his wealth was a bad strategy with bad timing.

I passionatley dislike Nduka and i beileve his media is cash and carry collecting billions in 2007 from OBJ govt for the yaradua project. Everyone knows he is a fraud but Odumakin who has been doing a good job did not need to drag the Buhari candidacy into this mess. I am almost certain Nduka is lying about Odumakin begging him for money but this is what you get when you go on needless offensive.

I just want odumakin to keep quiet and focus on the campaign now please!
