PoliticsRe: Buhari, Ribadu, Shekarau Pull Out Of BON Debate by Lagosboy: 11:33am On Mar 24, 2011
GEJ will debate with himself , argue with himself and eventually make a fool of himself.

Why should the 3 men honour BONs debate when GEJ ran with his tail in between his legs , fearing tough questions from Kadira Ahmed. I guess DBanj will be the anchor of the BON debate as well.

KBrown:
Honestly, my friend mistakay, if the truth must be told, most of us who are GEJ supporters love him because of his soft and nice nature. However, I am gradually getting inclined to shift my support to the BB ticket. Sorry, to disappoint Beaf who apparently loves GEJ just like myself, or even more. It will be fool-hardy for me to continue to believe that GEJ with his soft approach can tackle the evil men that oils corruption in our land. We will be fooling ourselves if we expect the saboteurs who import generators to give in without a serious fight or if we expect those who benefit from importation of refined petroleum products to sit back and allow local refineries to work. Very unfortunately, these are the people who populate the PDP! Definitely, we would be asking for too much from our beloved GEJ if we expect him to suddenly become enemies of these hawks after the elections (as I have expressed on this forum in the past). They will work against him from within the party and eventually impeach him.
On the other hand, one can clearly see that a mention of Buhari's name alone sends jitters to the spines of the corrupt-minded. It therefore becomes a duty for me as a true lover of my country to shift my support and vote for the BB ticket. It is obvious that Nigeria as a country stand to overcome many of her problems if corruption is defeated as Buhari is wont to do. My only prayer is that being so powerful, God would not allow Buhari to become as despotic as the strong man of Libya.
I supported GEJ up to this moment because of my belief that "If he can make it, I can make it" but sorry, he is too, too soft for the kind of demons that are holding Nigeria down now. Nigeria needs a strong leader, with strong institutions to get out of the woods. I am also happy for him because he has already made it! For now, for the love of my country, Buhari seems to be the answer! God bless my country, Nigeria.
You are blessed with a good sense of reasoning, intellectual objectivity and above all honesty.

2.) who is to blame?

3.) what is the solution?
Buddie , labelling people with bad names for opposing your views is disgusting and i will keep telling you. No one here has defended the King under any instance but all we have done is diagree with your notion of killing civilians for protesting in favour of the king.

Syrian leadership is worse in terms of dictatorship and freedom restriction than the Bahraini king but Ï dont see you criticise him. I criticise the saudi royals and all dictators regardless of the sect or creed.

Anyway i give up on this coversation as i know you never listen, accept and always right in your view. I have been saying the same thing 20 times and over. Have a good day.

LagosShia:
i didnt ignore your question.i must have skipped it unknowingly.
You still have not answered it
my question to you:

are you saying there is no discrimination in bahrain by the tyrannical king against the majority shia and those protesting have no claims?what is the solutionhuh
If you read my post from the begining of this thread you will realise i stated my 100% support for the protesters for reform. Descrimination exists no doubt and there are other issues as well that needs reform.

Solutiton is to keep up the proetsts and never protest along sectarian line but protest as one Bahrain. The moment they identify themselves as shia fighting for the shia cause  the passive sunnis will have no option than not to join the protest but allign with their own as well. The protest was successfull in the begining but will never be successful IMO now that it is sectarian.

why are the majority shia protesting?we had over 300,000 out of 600,000 bahrainis protesting.in egypt we had 3 million out of 80 million who succeeded in changing the regime.
Numbers can never be verified by anyone but the truth is it was not just the shias protesting at the begining, even thousands of sunnis joined the protest as they wanted genuine constitional monarchy where the will of the people prevails.

I told you in my first post on this thread that this parochial thinking of your from the pin hole of shi-sunni divide will never serve any purpose except dissent. I once agin call you to join those that seek to bridge the divide , unite on what we agree upon and let our differences fizzle out. We all have a common goal which is salvation in the hereafter and our purpose in life is to worship our creator.

Some of shia leaders are doing just that an di respect them for it and even appreciate their efforts but people like you should learn from Nasrallah and Ahmedinjad on how to be steadfast, foster unity and not further sow the seeds of dissent.

Although i believe the poll is not even worth the paper it is written on, Ribadu saying the entire Edo, Delta, Cross River and Imo when the residents of those states have continually yearned for change and demonstrated their support for the ACN and Mallam Nuhu Ribadu is another falshood.

The truth is everyone has support somewhere and everywhere it is the margin of support that determines the winner.

its amazing how some people who lack logic and facts have turned in to rhetoric to counter back.i only asked her a question and it would be more appropriate for her to reply.you dont need to do that for her.i just hope "vedaxcool" would use the same yardstick and accuse you of defending a "kaffir against a muslim".or maybe the kaffir is "more islamic" than the shia so am not a "muslim brother"?!!!

in islam and i know (hope you have not forgotten),there is wrong and right.you're either right or wrong.there is no middle path to thread on.you got to make your choice.so please we are not talking here about opinions and freedom of this or that.if you dont have facts about islam,no one is interested in your personal fatwas which would definitely lack intellectuallity.we are talking islam and muslims here.not opinions.i am not interested in that.

and as for your presumption that i have not travelled around the world, that is the same attitude of assumptiob you apply to religious discussions.i do not owe anything to you to prove about myself .

i am only curious to wonder why madam "hymen" is so anxious and bold to defend the tyrant and his regime when that same tyrant is oppressing the majority of bahrainis.you should ask those defending the tyrant whether or not they are pleasing Allah and what they stand to gain or lose.
There is a middle path in life and we are discussing a political issue here albeit politics is part if islam. We are dscussing a social issue, the demand of the protesters initially was for mor economic liberty, social justice and for the prime minister to go. Then all of a sudden it was for the king to go which is still alright in my opinion but what you cannot get is that protester killing other protesters whom are largely citizens of the kingdom in the name of race is racism and tanatamount to genocide.

Islam does not sanction us to go kill innocents and if you hate the king , you face the king an dnot soft targets who have no political value.

Hymen is bold to defend the king because she is a stakeholder in the kingdom, a person who has lived her life and born in a kingdom is part and parcel of the society. She has 100% more right to talk about it than you who is far away from the reality on ground. Islam tells us to always understand the fiqh ul waqi of the environment befor emaking jujdgements.

I repeat your question to her is tasteless , unislamic and absurd. A non muslim right should never be trampled upon under the guise of a kafir. We muslims are meant to be tolerant people and respect other peoples opinion in as much as it doesnt trample on our rights. We are having an intellectual discussion but you do not have the tenacity to carry on without personalising issue which is a weakness and pray to Allah to make you overcome such weakness.

One of the greatest sins is to accusse a chaste woman of lewdness and your question is a malicious question which is subtly accusing her of lewdness. A muslim woman or a non muslim woman should never be accused of such especially when you have never seen this person, you dont know her but all you have against her is because she opposses your view.

Arrogance is when you are confronted with the truth and you fail to accept it. Correct yourself , apologise to her and move on.

This just conforms what I have been saying. You have absolutely no idea of what you are saying.

You just come on NL & post hearsay on NL. Confirming you have no figures to back up your claim ,just shows how obtuse your reasoning is.

The Shia : Sunni ratio has remained constant for over 30 years (if not increased in favour of Shia),the gerrymandering of voting districts by the govt is wrong , but is based on geography & not population ! We have the not so similar unfair & mind boggling system in Nigeria ,where the House of Reps members from OLD KANO STATE are more than all the House of Reps members from the entire South-South. Should we start killing hausa people. huh huh

A review of the Bahraini map will confirm this. Shias are concentrated in mainly in the Northern Governorates, while the Southern (the largest geographically is Sunni) the others are shared,so your asking people to be killed on a false premise is based on rumours and I will ask the moderators for your IP so you can be traced and charged for inciting racial hatred & genocide in Kingdom of Bahrain, where I was a proud resident until 2 years ago.

On migration, official statistics show that more than 90% of recently naturalised(IN LAST 30 YEARS) are Shia - mainly women from Iran married to Iranian Bahrainis.I'll get back to you with a police charge sheet for your crimes against humanity,
I was never aware of this and this is thought provoking. I asked lagoshia if he had ever visited Bahrain and he tactically ignored my question. I have also briefly visited the country and I know all he bases his arguements on are shia vs sunni war, he wants a war between sects he is never for unity , in his mind life is black or white. He says in islam you are iether wrong or right but he has forgotten that in the fiqh of islam we have wajib, haram, mandub, makru.

Ribadu as president would be disaster for Nigeria as he is cluless about development . I saw him at the debate and he could not articulate any plan apart from telling us to go look at what ACN is doing in Lagos, Edo , Ekiti, Osun even when we know Ekiti and osun has not witnessed any change since ACN took over 8 months and 4 months respectively.

Bakare gave his opinion as a citizen then in 2006 but after meeting Buhari in person he changes his mind.

Ribadu was part and parcel of PDP , he was OBJs attack dog, Ribadu can never prosecute OBJ for corruption, never prosecute Aneni and co because they all ate and drank together. Ribadu never prosecutued any of OBJs minister apart from the unfortunate Sunday Afolabio and it wasnt even Ribadu that opened that.

Ribadu compiled a list of corrupt people in 2007 including Lanre Tejuosho who had never taste public office. Lanre Tejuosho was Iyabo obasanjos opponent for the Senate, this is the kind of antecedent Ribadu has. Ribadu should spare us his hypocricy. DREAM ON!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I know most people here on nairaland wont vote so to most of them talk is cheap. It is less than 3wks to the presidential election,2weeks to legislative elections and 4 weeks to gubernatorial election YET NO SINGLE CPC candidate poster apart from few BB presidential posters have I seen in the whole of cosmopolitan Lagos!!no ward executive or official!!I dont even know if they have a guber candidate cos I ve not seen or heard or read of one!!Most people could barely recall his name despite he was a former head of state!!
yet some people delude themselves that BB will get even 25% in Lagos or any state for that matter in the SW!!That is the height of deceit!!

VOTING WILL NOT BE DONE ON NAIRALAND!!

The fact on the ground is that the south is completely against BB AND THE NORTH AGAINST GEJ!! whereas Ribadu's chances are bright in almost all the 6 geopolitical zones even the heart of SS where gej comes from!!
BB should step down for ribadu cos the northern votes alone cant get BB elected where as ACN has strong presence in bauchi, jigawa, adamawa, kano, etc n the north. Akwa ibom, edo, rivers in the SS, Abia, imo, anambra in the SE and all the SW.

While ACN was building political structures all over the country,BB was relying on the NORTHERN MASSES.
Ask your people based in Lagos or SW for political structure of BB in Lagos and the SW/SE/SS,they will tell u its null.

Stop peddling falsehood,BB kite aint flying in the south whilr ribadu is gainning more ground in the north cos he is a credible young northerner and a moslem .now it is too late for BB to build any structure in the south!!its between ribadu and gej.

people should stop thinking any ACN political structure in the south or in the north will work for an opponent.,those people that attended acn rally in the north or the top party guys like Audu ogbeh, young alhaji, saminu turaki, usman baraje etc will waste their vote on BB.
It is time to wake up!!The Bb kite may be flying in the north so also is Ribadu but the BB KITE IN SOUTH?Nah nah.
Ribadu cannot win his local govt in Adamawa. Ribadu knows in his heart he cannot win this election. Tinubu knows ACN cannot win this election otherwise why was Tinubu willing to be Buharis vice and not Ribadus vice. We all know CPC does not have the best strucutre in the SW but this election is not the typical election we have seen before. The voters register in LAgos almost doubled and it is because the normal peasants and traders that vote based on ward allegiances were not the only ones that registered. Millions of educated youths have registered and it is this educated people in the SW that will vote Buhari. You are underestimating the even the pentecostal population in the SW most of whom have registered. Even Adeboye is supporting the BB tsunami.

In Ibadan the layman is behind Buhari, wait till the BB train arrives Lagos and asses the crowd.
PoliticsRe: Buhari's Handshake And Handcuff by Lagosboy: 10:55am On Mar 23, 2011
Objectivity is a rare quality found in people and this write from the SE is honest as well as objective. Bakare said the woman who donated vehicles for the BB campaign said the only reason she donated those cars was that during the PTF days she never had to bribe anyone to get contracts and the only way she could reward Buhari was to support his campaign.

Any undergraudate in Nigeria in late 90s will know the PTF buses in all universities that were offering free transportation or subsidized. This was a man that with 115 billion was able to make an impact on the whole country. Anenih got 300 Billion as minister of works and there is not a single federal road to show for it, even the road that leads to his town of Benin is a death trap.

GEJ is promising airport in all states at a time when 90% of nigerians dont even fly within Nigeria, he only plans to build airport so his fellow cronies can fly in and out of states. He has forgotten we need railways, roads to move goods and people.Such level of thinking depicts a man intellectually challenged, out of touch with reality and cluless about development. Another 4 years of GEJ is moving Nigeria 20 years backwards. OBJ supports GEJ because he knows GEJ cannot match 20% of his record in govt and punish Nigerians further for noot granting him his 3rd term agenda.

Ribadu on the other hand should not be forgetten that he was the chief executioner of the 3rd term agenda , the same ribadu that wanted a PDP govt now sings that PDP wasted 200 billion dollars in 12 years. The sam eRibadu that disqualified Atiku to pave way for a yaradua GEJ govt. Our politicians are prostitutes, not sincere and it is more shameful we Nigerians are forgetfull and just move with the flow.

Buhari is our only choice for a better Nigeria.

Very interesting indeed.

I think it is absolutely wrong for anyone to call for attacks on fellow citizens based on their race or religion due to any disagreements with their govt's immigration policy.

Lets expand this argument further- imagine the EDF(English Defence League),and other racist parties in the UK attacking all non-white UK citizens because they do not agree with how they acquired their citizenship.

Or the tea party in the US asking for all Hispanic Americans to be attacked , or coming home the OPC(Oodua People’s Congress) attacking all Igbo people in Lagos for considering themselves part & parcel of this state. And the list goes on.

This is not only imbecilic . . . . . . . . .its downright dangerous.

This is the very definition of GENOCIDE. The Rwandans have a distressing history of this. The Nigerian civil war has its origins in similar principles & it should be stopped anywhere it rears its ugly head !

Immigration is always a 'hot-buttin' issue in most elections around the world and the way to go is not the jungle justice way (as recommended by LagosShia),but to make changes where applicable to existing legislation if too lax or in the case of poor enforcement adequate investigation.

I have been reading the back & forth on the situation in Bahrain and I have a feeling LagosShia with all due respect is beclouded by his Shia ideology.
This is exactly my point, after every 3 words he rewinds back to the issue of muawiyya, after 3 words he talk about Yazid , after four words it is 12 imams.

Must every issue be addressed from that pin hole mindset, it is the same problems some saudi scolars have. These kind of people are clogs in the wheel of progress as the thrive in retrogression and nver wants to move fowards, They keep taking us back to dwell in history without looking for solutions to move foward. Imagine all the pakistanis and indians get killed.

500000 people slaugtered all in the name of immigration.

How can i countinue a discussion with somneone that says " pakistanis belong to pakistan pakistanis belong to pakistan and not bahrain.pakistani and bahraini have different cultures and languages.and islam which is the common factor does not teach us to usurp each others' rights.if the majority of bahraini people are against naturalization, then so be it."

If you have ever travelled to the west you would understand that a country where you are born in is your country. You would understand Britain is for the british which includes blacks, pakistanis, indians, chinese e t.c Why would the prophet allow Bilal a black slave not from arabia pronounce the adhan being a super minority in the land ?

You would understand that there is nothing like indegines and foreigners. it is only in countries like Nigeria you have state of origin nonsense. Look at you defending naturalization and citizenship like it is an islamic doctrine. state and citizenship is alien in islam and Allahs land should be free for everyone to walk on at any time in place. You and me should be working together to that like the EU has done in europe. This is the islamic ideology. We should be progressive and not retrogressive.

Lagosshia

I sound pathetic because i dont believe innocent civilians should be killed and you do.

I sound pathetic because i have stated in my posts and if you go to the earlier pages you wwould see, i stated my support for the protests, i stated my disdain for the Bahrain monarch, i have stated my disgust for the saudi monarch but I absoultely DISGUST the jungle justice of attacking cvilians who are protesting. Now it is racist to descriminate a section of people because they are pakistanis or indians. You have forgotten that most of the under 30 indians and pakistanis were born in Bahrain. They have no other home except Bahrain and they are bahrainis the same way the arabs are bahrainis.

I dont know where you are based in but you sound very in exposed , you sound ancient because otherwise you would know citizenship is no longer based on race, tribe or religion. Even if the Monarch brought people in to make the sunni larger. Does it justify the shia protesters to attack them? The attack should be directed solely at the govt, the police and they system. Do you not simply get it?

There is what we call poitics and how has the strategy helped the shia cause , just tell me how!! Rather they have sown seeds of enmity amongst the youth. The shia have been descriminated upon by the govt and no one denies that but what the shia dont want is alienating the sunni youth and civilians because they have no hand in their oppression.

Do you know the definition "Occupation" do you know the definition of "Occupier" because if you know you would not trivialise this words and use it for Bahraini citizens who were either born in Bahrain or have live there for decades. Occupation is not used for citizens or people but used for countries brother!!

I cannot continue this arguement with you and this will proibably be my last post on this issue. Believe me though you are not helping the shia cause , you are not helping to foster unity amongst the ummah , all you stand for is sectarinism of which we will gain nothing from. Learn to always look at the wider picture of things befor eoyu reach a conclusion and do not see every issue from the pinhole mindset of shia sunni divide.

I rest my case and indeed Allah knows best.

Brother,

You seem to live in an ancient world and unfortunately i do aplogise but you do not grasp international politics.

Would we be judged on the day of judgement based on our nationality?
Rewind this to 70 years ago and give me your verdict when there was nothing like passport please.

How on earth can you call someone with a Bahraini passport illegal nationality. Why do you only reason from the microscopic view of shia-sunni ? How can you say someone came to usurp the land when in other gulf countries like Kuwait and Qatar the foreigners outweigh the original indegines. If there were millions of people like you Obama(not that i like him )would never be the president of the US. If people like you were the majority in Madina our beloved prophet PBUH would never have been given the authority in medina (he was a foreigner in the midst) .

The world has moved on and attacking innocent civilians with a right to protest is plain disgusting. Those pakistanis have a right to protest in support of the King the same way the protesters have a right to protest against the king. I dont like the king but i acknowledge the right of both sides to protest. There are millions of non cauacasians living in the west with equal rights and priviledges and why should we muslims not do the same even when our faith clearly asks us to.

Honestly the more you try to justify killing of innocent Bahrainis protesting in support of the king the more you sound . . . . lipsrsealed

Now answer my question

Is it also legitimate to kill a a pakistani Shia in Bahrain and is it also equal to killing a zionist settler in occupied territories.?

I have always had my reservations for this man called Tinubu , he is as incosistent as you can be, he moves with the tides, he goes with the flow wherever the wind blows he will be there apart from the wind of PDP. How can you call something you wanted to be part of expired leadership, i doubt if ACN will even get 2% of votes in Kano. Rather than court the Kano voters you speak ill of their hero and then you have the guts for calling GEJ a drunken fiserman when he labelled you a rascal.

Tinubu might have to swallow his vomit in April when CPC God willing wins the election. Ribadu on the other hand is allowing Tinubu manipulate him by attackin Buhari. Ribadu that cannot win his local govt in Adamawa. Ribadu has forgotten if he wants to be relevant in Nigeria politics post 2011 , he needs Buhari to win the north in 2015 if he wants to contest.

Ribadu would be decieving himself if he sincerely thinks he could win this election even if it were free and fair. Ribadu is an opportunist IMO, he lacks the moral authority to accusse PDP of bad leadership when you were part of this bad leadership from 2003 to 2007. How can we forget Ribadus role in the OBJ 3rd term. How can we forget Ribadus role in disqualifying non PDP aspirants in 2007 like Atiku. How can we forget Ribadus role in the addition of Lanre Tejuosho (iyabo obasnajos opponent) to the corrupt list of 2007 even when he had never held a govt position before.

We forget so soon as a people, Buhari remains the only consistent politician today in Nigeria. For 35 years he still stand for the same ideals he is known for.

Forget this useless Thisday opinion polls. Thisday is widely known for cash and carry opinion polls. Was it not GEJ accsusing Thisday of being bribed by Atiku to influence opinion polls. We all know Atiku lost the primaries even if it was rigged.

By the same toke GEJ is losing this election in a big way. How can they call Katsina too close to call when Buhari is from Katsina and even the yaradua family is now supportin CPC in Katsina. How will the Katsina people support GEJ when a man from Daura is contesting. GEJ polling 80% in Lagos is another fantasy.

Oyo state being close to call is a ramble in peoples imagination as it is either Ladoja or Ajimobi there , Akala is bound to lose this election. I guess thisday conducted this polls amongst the agberos in oyo, amongs the pdp supporters in katsina, among the Boge George boys in LAgos.

Yinka Odumakin this is is called Technical knock Out in boxing, it is a jab below the belt. Kai GEJ should just sack this chemical Alli of a person before he finally ruins him.

@Beaf , the person that started this 2.8 billion rubbish confessed he heard it on a a commercial bus with nothing to substanciate the allegation. You have forgotten OBJ was the supervisor of that enquiry and if it was inded tru OBJ would have used it against Buhari long time ago. 2.8 billion naira was about 3 Billion pounds in the late 70´s and the re is now ay that money would be in a british bank without the govt knowing about it. How come the money was traced and was never impounded or frozen. Please we are smart people and even Chemical Alli could not use this as an allegation against Buhari.

The BB2011 Tsunami is just too strong for anyone to handle.

Yinka Odumakin you are da bomb!!
IslamRe: Shia Justice And The Sunni Predicament On The Popular Middle East Revolutions by Lagosboy: 9:05am On Mar 21, 2011
@Hymen,
you're sympathizing with the indians and pakistanis in bahrain in one of your posts and because they were attacked by protesters as you claimed, you want to tag the protesters as "extremists".
for your information,it is very legitimate for the bahraini shia to attack the indians and pakistanis in bahrain as it is legitimate for palestinian sunnis to attack jewish settlers.no difference at all!!!
Lagosshia,

Please i want to believe you do not mean the boldened because if you do, i dont think it is worth anyone discussing with you further here. How can you equate zionist settlers on occupied lands of psalestine with legitimate foreign expatriates who have come to work in Bahrain and some of who work for shias as well in Bahrain.

How can you sanction the killings of innocent people by a section of the society only because they were not Bahrainis. Would Allah on the day of judjgement categorise us based on our nationalites?

I have one question for you and if you are bold enough to answer it i would be very happy. Is it also legitimate to kill a a pakistani Shia in Bahrain and is it also equal to killing a zionist settler in occupied territories.?

Brother , you are being swayed by emotions and you are not thinking deeply, you have forgotten all this statehood only started in the last 70 years. You have forgotten that the only passport a person needed in islamic lands is being a muslim or a christian or a jew giving allegiance to the state. You have forgotten even christians and jews found sanctuary in islamic lands. By your analysis even Hymen should be killed because she is a foreigner in Bahrain and employed there.

Have you ever being to Bahrain? What do you know about the country if you havent been?

I just cannot believe a muslim would say this kind of statement to attack innocents people. It is the right of the people to fight the governemnt for their right but to turn against fellow citizens who have no authority and do not make any rules is simply erroneous. Revolutions are successfull based on clear rules of engagement and not a bunch of hoodloms attacking their fellow civilians on the streets. You could fight the police, you could fight the govt but what you cannot do is turn the very people you will be living with against you by attacking them. It has never worked, it will not work and I believe the struggle is lost to change the monarch govt. Mark my words the struggle is lost and Khalifa would remain in power. The struggle was lost bacause some of these people think the same way you do SECTARINISM!!

PoliticsRe: Nigeria: PDP Not Greatest Threat to Democracy -Bakare by Lagosboy: 1:17pm On Mar 18, 2011
Gbawe:
I am not falling for any tricks. I have even mentioned it earlier that this thread is an attempt at mischief . Nonetheless , the onus of graciousness does not fall on ACN, Tinubu and Ribadu fans only . We cannot , for the sake of wanting to see the back of the PDP , allow Bakare to unfairly malign and , without provocation,  attack those who have been in the struggle longer than him.

Bakare is a loose cannon. he literally became a politician yesterday. He is not proven in any Nigerian public office . If we are all on the same page then I would expect fans of Buhari to tell him to calm down instead of supporting him automatically even when , without doubt , he is wrong . He has attacked Ribadu, Tinubu and the ACN Party while those folks continue to ignore him graciously like parents ignoring  brattish children . Tinubu is now "the greatest enemy of democracy" according to Bakare yet many , who know the history of Nigeria , will see it differently in proposing Tinubu a champion of democracy with how the former Lagos Governor stood up to the tyranny of OBJ and the PDP at a time when everyone (Judiciary, police, Army, INEC et al) "fell in line" to hand PDP the total dominance it now enjoys today that has seen Nigeria destroyed . Perhaps Bakare needs a history lesson.

In the Senate , The ACN members , despite being the minority , are some of  the most progressive, vibrant and visionary Senators while the PDP members continue to be enemies of progress with how they sponsor selfish bills while consistently killing those that can accelerate Nigeria's progress rapidly. How does  "the greatest threat to democracy" (Tinubu) continue to consistently provide a platform for so many progressive individuals to attain important office ?

Bakare tells us he will expose Ribadu yet Nigerians far more deserving of respect than him come out regularly , without inducement , to praise and support Ribadu . Bakare needs to be gracious . He is already losing Buhari support in the SW region. I said , as a Pastor , Bakare was the wrong choice when Buhari announced him as running mate . I think I am now being proven right because anyone who understands how many Nigerian Pastors think will know where I am coming from. Most Nigerian Pastors would be useless in politics because they are totally consumed with the concept that it is only them and their house that is pious , godly and just. they dont understand the concept of compromise and working with folks , from different walks of life, to achieve the common objective of moving Nigeria forward. Everything is a battle of supremacy for the likes of Bakare i.e the triumph of good over evil .

I agree with you on the point that Bakare should not have spoken about Ribadu, but on Tinubu i think he should have spoken. Bakare is also playing politics and he is trying to reach out to the educated people of the SW to see the danger in Tinubu being the god father of SW. Maybe it is counter productive , it is only time that will tell. The obejctive of CPC is to win this election outright and not a run off hence the killer instinct.

If it comes to a run off ACN and CPC dont have any damn choice apart from working together and forget all the press wars politicians know how to settle things behind the doors. Tinubu himself has attacked all PDP members in the past and today he is working with Akume, Ararume, Odili  boys, and a host of others. Adele contested as Williams deputy in 99 and today he is back with Tinubu. This is politics and never take this statements too serious as everyone is fighting for their survival.

Clinton and Obama were engaged in dirtier attacks in 2007/2008, so many attacks but today they are working together. We should all chill out and move on with our support.

Anyway join us on the BB2011 bandwagon  grin

Simply hilarious but the truth is that this seems funny but the ruling elite always come together behind closed doors to negotiate these kind of things.
