If i saw an islamic scholar doing the same to Ibori i would have posted the samething. Men of god should not frolick with these thieves. Tunde Bakare is an example he doesnt frolick with them, I do not think Bishop Gbonig does either , neither does olubumi okogie as far as i know and all other old school pastors. My grudge is simple OBJ romanced with Adeboye and he could not speak against the 3rd term ambition. It is not only me that share this sentiment otherwise why was OBJ booed by the congregation at the redeemed camp when he was handed the mic. Pls lets be objective this is not a bash against chrisitianity in the least but criticism of a mere mortal that other Chrisitian leaders have constructively criticised. |

Moses,David Solomon,Abraham all had more than 1 wife yet they were great prophets of God in the bible and God never reprimanded them in the bible. I also dont know of any statement of Jesus prohibiting the marriage of more than 1 wife from the mouth of the master himself in the bible. 1 Like |

As far as i know there is no biblical commandment oppossing marrying more than one wife. The few verses people use is sibject to various interpretations. Several prophets of God in the bible had more than one wife. i leave this subject to the clergy men in da house but lots of women who go any length to prove it is unchristian. |

@Alimat2 I think the folks are just having an intellectual expository into the concept of Jesus in Islam which is educative and enlightening. It is in the Quran not to speak aginst the false gods and idols so they dont insult Allah in return. |

Yeah I can in principle but other issues have to be trashed out before hand. I am from a family of 7 with 3 christians and the other 2 muslims are married to christians and we all get along but I am a muslim and would have loved if they were all muslims as well which is natural. |

Theh tribalism i though was just with our parents but NL has exposed me to the reality at hand and the understanding that it is deep rooted in poeple of our generation which is disastrous for our development. The irony is this tribalism doesnt really exist among the ruling elite as they are united in their thieving ideology. |

I personally think this post is unfair and castigates the entire ibo race as market monopolist which is unfair. The ibos desrve the presidency as other tribes have been president if they get their acts together and unite behind one person. This post is uncalled for and just an instigation to racial hatred and inflaming an avoidable fire. There are other businesses that other tribes deal with like cattle rearinng and the sale of cows, rams etc This is done by the northerners and they are successful at it. Fishing is done by the ijaws and ilajes and they are successful at it. Yorubas used to trade in cocoa and they were successful at it. If the ibos are successfull traders it is due to their hardwork, business acumen and ability to take risks which other tribes might not neccessarily have. I personally think an average ibo man or hausa man is prone to taking big risks compared to a yoruba man due to upbringing and parental influence but i could be wrong. This is just my own take |

But what shall we achieve by all these ijaw this ibo that , efik betrayed ,hausa opressed bla bla bla. We are all Nigerians and we should see ourselves as that. The history we are looking at many of us never contributed to and we should have a diferent mentality to our parents who are damn tribal. Ijaws should not unite with ibo but Nigerians must unite as a whole and together fight evil in our country. If there is one thing that all Nigerians are united on and no one tribe is better than the other it is stealing of public funds. So therefore, Nigerians should unite as well and fight this evil as a whole and not based on decentralised synergies of tribes. Just my own take on the issue. |
