Next thing is the police invites her for questioning. |
Tohsynetita1:I understand, I wasn't done when you mentioned, you can check again. |
Tohsynetita1:I had to jump on your comment. First, if you're exporting commercially, we are not talking about small quantities, we're talking bags and possibly tonnes of good quality stuff. The European market is quite strict on things like this. 2. Except you are a PR or have become a citizen, you can't run business in these countries...in literal terms, you can't move around hawking your food to African stores because you wont even be able to import (refer to point 1). Even if you manage to import and get caught, you will be punished. Other africans who have struggled to build their businesses won't want to jeopardize their business over a few earnings or they risk it and pay you stipends (Africans are good at exploiting). 3. Way forward is to liaise with a commercial/licensed exporter. Good luck sealing the deal with them because they will pay you in Naira not USD. The profits belong to the middlemen. Can't say though, maybe you have a trader uncle can piggyback on 4. Last point/Disclaimer: I've not done thorough research nor dealt business in this sphere. What I've listed above is based on my brief encounters with stakeholders on both endss of the food chain. |
Nice ride. I'd rather buy a defender though. |
FinidiGeorge: , I read that part as well and sending a third driver was what I meant. Village people at work maybe. |
Really gruelling experience. I was thinking you were out of this mess by now and sharing your experience. As soon as you said a road side mechanic rinsed your gearbox filter, I knew that vehicle isn't going anywhere. Sad to think you're still stuck there. What are your plans? I believe you don't plan to start living there. Can you get another competent mechanic in the nearest town to come take a look at the car? What is the owner of the merchandise saying? I hope those eggs don't rot under the hot sun. There's losses already as I can imagine. She should send another driver to save her goods before it becomes double debt on your head. You can even follow the new driver back to town and get money and another technician to come back and look at the car. Better still get the driver to tow you and that car out of there. Godspeed. |
DKM123:Nobody forced the women to protest naked. Danfo drivers who strip naked in the middle of the street are also protesting. The methods may look archaic but it's a heritage that we should respect and not discard for western ideologies. Since the current generation is so lost on traditional morals and values, they hardly understand the wise ways of the elders. How many young fathers today can accurately give 10 proverbs off the top of their heads? I wonder how they will advise their kids..well they don't and we see the evidence everyday on social media and on the streets. Naked women protests is an extreme form of protest.. almost equal to self immolation practiced in the East Asias. The situation is evidently at a critical level but as I would expect, no one will give a hoot about this protest. |
Eloquency001:Yes exactly. Thanks for the name. |
A similar presenter took over from him, I can`t remember the name. he also had a bushy moustache as well. I think this genre of programmes still runs but they are no longer as popular. Funfact: Yinka Ayefele worked for him. |
princeemma69:Don't become a victim. Even if you want to join, a random comment should not be your motivation. People don't share their money making secrets like that, once it's in the open, e don cast be that. |
planetx:I want talking about spending it, I was talking about saving it even if it is a fixed deposit. The money remains intact when the authorities come searching 7 months later and shes $600k richer. Both parties depart in peace with smiles. |
Harddiskng:Just imagine 0.83% monthly interest on $10.7m over 7 months: that's about $600k free money with no guilt attached. Now she loses everything and gains deportation and blacklist as extras. |
They are too expensive. African talent will take less pay for much more work. |
Siberia01:My thoughts exactly, I have ceased attending all these conferences as they are a waste of time. The zoom ones are worse. You have experts just come around and advertise their businesses. At most, they argue and bicker among themselves but everyone forgets whatever was discussed as soon as the conference is over. No solid roadmap, directives or plans. Everyone returns to the status quo or their private enterprises. |
How about free internet in select parts of town or in schools, or just getting a desktop computer for 100 public schools. Different strokes for different folks but not a bad effort in itself. |
C350 indeed. |
With the reasons provided, she better stay in her own if she's living a comfortable life. A man abandoned by his wife and kids because he was broke won't call them back because he's now rich 8 years later. He would rather look for a youngling or slayqueen to live out his fantasies. He's not rich, he's simply looking for a support mechanism and he will parasitize her once again. |
udede:In other words, you need a breeding pig for your progenies. The world is on a highway to hell. |
I disagree. The husband can stay stuck in the sitting room and refuse to enter the room during a quarell. Besides, the couple will be planning to have extra buddies in 9 months hopefully: baby, mother-in-law etc. Should they be changing homes every year? My aunt (and her husband) for example moved into a 3 bedroom right from the wedding and stayed there for 12 years before moving to their personal building: Master bedroom, Guest room and third room for storing wedding gifts. As the kids came, they changed room function to baby's room and so on. Besides, 3 bedroom apartments tend to have more living space compared to crampy self-contains. For me though, I kept moving every year from a one-bedroom, to a 2 bedroom and then a 3 bedroom. Stressful. |
First, I must commend you on your resilience to get back up. Thats about half the journey. Now you need to concentrate on activities that can feed you on a daily. It is when you have that sorted to a comfortable level, you can start contemplating tertiary education; which is not bad in itelf, it only takes time to mature. I will also sound a note of warning here. Don't get greedy or impatient. Do not try to poach your boss's customers, or try to quickly open your own store, it can send you back to zero really fast. You have to take measured steps. Take weekends as well, you need it. Don't work 24/7 every week of the month, you will break down and the lose that extra cash on medication. The job is just the financial aspect, feed your spiritual and physical self as well. Go to church, get good sleep, try to eat and use needed medication. Your story sounds like a life with a strong spiritual undertone. I hope you look into it more seriously. Don't fall victim of fake prophets however. |
Who in God's own earth will not pick calls or answer text messages. Why the hell does she have a phone then? You've got to have some self respect man especially at the age of 30. Money or a funny attitude is not a do all for meeting ladies but logical common sense for sure goes a long way. Read the signs early on and save your resources once you realize it's an unprofitable venture. Why waste emotions, efforts, money, time on a lady that doesn't dig you? Besides, corpers are one of the hungriest girls I ever met, no more pocket money from home so they devour any gullible sheep around them like wolves. |
toygod2:They are efficient work trucks that offer a bit of everything ranging from car to vans to flatbed benefits. They can carry 'some' load, tow (depends), move at a relatively higher speed for urban or long commutes, go off-road (sometimes) or just be a daily driver. In the case of this example above, it also has the benefit of lower fuel consumption compared to bigger trucks from Dodge or Ford. |

Buhari sunk the country's economy to new depths with his ineptitude and nonchalance to intricate economic matters leaving key decisions to his minions to do as they wish often times to their own benefit. Tinubu seems to be more educated in these things. Change is also expected when administration switches, the skeletons of past administrations are brought to the open but this is a normal practice. Buhari also did his initial gragra with EFCC back then. Cbn is releasing records of past 7 years (Buhari's tenure )I don't think Baba is a messiah and I rooted for a different candidate but I hope things get better. |
accordadoga29:Please put ámí next time. Had to read twice before I got it. ![]() Akòtilètá, írankìran etc |
I only know of TIV's strong pounded yam |
Kevineleven:Lol, this is even funnier. If you were in the same shoes, you would try to reach for the attacker's gun? ![]() Forget all those self defense videos on TikTok, they are debunked as well. You have a slim chance of grabbing an attacker's gun except you're specially trained in sharp reflexes and hand strength/combat. A mistake in that scenario is definitely death. |
Angelfrost:and that's why I emphasized that it won't work. the shooter had shot at the fleeing boy and the two lying bodies. A situation where they were both defenceless and posed no threat to him. There was literally nothing they could have done but run from him. Kneeling or begging will even inflame the killer's anger. |
Angelfrost:So what should he have done. Kneel and beg? |
Omoawoke2:And so he should lunge at the attacker? What are you guys saying? Walking away was a way to diffuse the situation. Your best defence from a gunman is to create as much distance between you both as much as possible. Better yet, walks backwards, but turning his back shows he is no longer interested in the confrontation and that makes the crime more premeditated. I hope you also read that the attacker went to the two prone bodies and fired off at least 2 more shots execution style. |
Did I see 2.5m? Naij! No chill ![]() A vehicle that would have spent almost 5 years in Nigeria when dollar was still around #700, now some seller will say USD is expensive and wants to sell at twice the price for twice the depreciation. A lot of people won't make heaven with their business practices. |
