This is the Yeeparipa odu!. The odu of the Ogboni fraternity. The first that became last. The odu of Obatala, Oosanla Oseremagbo.

The simple message of this odu is 'Do not turn back from a righteous path because of the odds stacked against you!, Do what is right anyway, even if it seems at first that there is no light at all at the end of the tunnel! Go ahead anyway because Olodumare has got your back!'. All you need, more than enough, will be provided by God, by Olodumare, like magic. It is the law of life, the principle by which the universe operates. So, never ever chicken out from doing what falls on you to do because of the odds stacked against you, mind the odds but go ahead anyway with a sense of duty. Can anyone convince you not to give a good education to your kids? If not, no one should be able to shake you off the path of righteousness, responsibility, honor, patriotism, honesty, truth, humanitarianism and etc. That is the message of OFUN MEJI or OROGUN MEJI. Remain steadfast on the path of righteousness and what you need to overcome will come to you at the best time!

One of the most non academically sound positions of Muslims is the one about Jesus. They say he never blasphemed by equating himself with God. It is just like saying Guru Maharaji never blasphemed by calling himself God. THE OGBONI STATE.

The Governor or President do not need to be elected in a universal adult suffrage system. Every post in the nation should be that of a worker, every post should be a job. There is no need for politics or politicians, what is needed are nation builders, entrepreneurs, workers and states men. The system of ruling party and opposition party should be overhauled because it is a joke. Only one party is needed in any nation, if you have a new idea, take to social media, do not form an opposition party as that really makes no sense.


The Ogboni party should be the only party and infact any citizen should be able to call for minutes of Ogboni meetings once the person is a tax payer. However, Ogboni membership should be automatic for employers of labor over a certain threshhold for any nation or administrative unit with a governing board while others are nominated by taxpayers and etc.


In an Ogboni system, YOU DO NOT BLAME THE PRESIDENT FOR HOW THINGS TURN OUT, YOU BLAME THE OGBONI MEMBERS. Just thesame way you can not blame your secretary for the fortunes of your business!

The President would be the worker under the closest monitoring or supervision in an Ogboni country and if things go awry, you dont blame the worker, you blame the supervisors or watchers who will be well known to all. One person can not be responsible for a nation, a whole nation!

That short uncompleted praise poem or national oriki of the Ijesa reflects the ancient times of abundant prosperity in Ijesa land that was buoyed by the people’s industry. Ilesa was an important terminal on the trans saharan caravan route for the trans saharan trade and the poem talks about those wonderful old days. People used to come to Ijesa to buy kolanuts and carpets in those days mainly. Those were the two main forex earners for Ijesa in the olden days. The country was known for excellence in those two products. One was produced by skilled artisanship and the other by farmers but in Ijesa markets would also be found yams, palm oil, clothes, okro, cotton, beads, gold and hundreds of other tradeable items. However, from the poem, one could say kolanuts and carpets were the main forex earners. People coming South to Ilesa would determine the price of the kolanuts and carpets but if the price is low this market day, less would reach the market next market day because the producers would not be motivated or incentivized enough and the foreigners would be forced to offer a higher price and so on for the little quantity that reaches the market. If the international market is huge, then supply will never meet demand and Ijesas would continue smiling to the bank.

The markets were controlled by Lojas or Olojas who were mini Kings of market towns. They collect revenue and send to the central administration in Ilesa under the Owa in council to keep the nation going.

This odu implies victory, success. Ose means overcome, victorious and etc. Ose on the right and ose on the left implies total victory. If it comes up you then cast twice more to determine if it came with ibi or ire then determine the kinds of ire or ibi determining yes or no answers for each. If ire, there are verses for ire and if ibi, there are also verses.


If you ask how the day is going to be for you and the Ose meji with ire comes up, then it will indeed be very good if with ibi, then be careful. In both cases, follow the advise of the priest. The use of Ifa is to find out what we could not have otherwise found out.


Ose meji is the odu that established Ibadan city. The Yoruba do not do anything in the past without consulting Ifa, so when Lagelu established Ibadan, it was Ose meji that was divined for the city. So Ibadan is regarded as the hometown or a hometown of Ose.


Life is a mixture of victories and defeats, so we are often in a situation of ose just after okanran.

Why is Kwara not a pure Yoruba state ? Kogi and Benue are even closer to the North that Kwara, yet they don't have an Emir. (I stand to be corrected.).

There are native Nupe and Bariba with own towns in Kwara state in like two or three LGs. Those lands are not Yoruba land. The Bariba control western Niger state and Northwestern Kwara, then Northeast Benin republic. All must be merged into a Borgu state with capital at New Bussa or anywhere they want. The Yoruba control Southern Niger state to the Atlantic ocean, the Nupe a small portion of Kwara and central Niger state, the Gwari control Eastern Niger and the FCT area. Kogi West is Yoruba with a sprinkling of Nupe and etc. There is a Fuani Emir in Bida the Nupe capital but bearing a Nupe title, some other Nupe have Nupe rulers. No Yoruba have Fulani Emir or ruler.

Before the British, during the period that the Spanish and Portuguese controlled the transatlantic trade as well as relations with West Africans and etc, all international activities were commissioned by governments and profits made thereby were largely by and for government. The Spanish crown could for instance order that the Governor of the Spanish post in Brazil send a Spanish settler back home by force on the next vessel and etc. They were basically working for the crown on their colonies in the Americas. The crown was not accountable to anyone, they dont have to make profit. They sank at the end in the midst of too much gold!. On the other hand, British settlers were a different sort, many were Irish, escaping famine, seeking land, English seeking new opportunities and land, transported across mainly by companies and not the British crown. There was a specific English law that says there must be no taxation without representation, it was a most efficient curb on the British government because the King needed to summon parliament to raise any amount of money from the economy and it was never ongoing, just what is needed for whatever at that point. So, for British colonists, the crown was not their backer, their backers were corporations owned by thousands of British people at home and mandated (unlike the British crown) to turn out profit. Whatever cards you were dealt in life, whether you were born into slavery, royalty, poverty or wealth, born strong, weak, healthy, ill, female, male, black, white, whatever, that would be your 'ire' at birth or fortunes at birth, your starting point, more of the ire will come to you later. This odu otura meji is my favorite despite that Eji Ogbe is the King and Eji Ofun is the Yeepa Odu. I like the principle of the Eji otura better because of its emphasis on theism. The acknowledgement by the individual under it of a higher unseen power above himself or herself.

You see, I was the only one whose thesis was published in my graduating Chemical Engineering class in OAU, Ile Ife, I was 24, aside that, I have published poems and I have been approached to be paid for my writings by a paper based in the USA owned by a Nigerian. My parents are not millionaires but I chose to go into business and I did, cutting a niche for myself in the communications sector while others were running after desk jobs. I was making around 250,000 naira per month without bank support, saving around N50,000 at least, then Adeboye pulled everything down while trying to kill me, not knowing that a power greater than him by far, representing Olodumare is standing guard over me, has planned my life for me and is guiding me.

One can not function without the other and between us we have three children and we are asset to the good people of the world headed by the CIA.

In Yoruba land, slaves used to take up the status of their masters and were generally regarded as arrogant. That is how the system works but if someone like me with a published work had applied in 2007 citing my work in Nigeria, I could have been granted a scholarship on the strength of the recommendation of Professor Akeredolu my supervisor but I did not want all that despite Professor Akeredolu's constant pull on me. Thesame applies to Harvard in the USA if I had applied. I would have been given a place back then and maybe what I am doing today would have been headquartered in the USA. As in my online humanitarian work.


That is to a large extent how nations like the US and Germany operate and it is how all nations should operate. I was initially preparing for TOEFL but I put it off saying 'Let me achieve 500 thousand naira per month in my business first but I did not move past half of that before it collapsed. My TOEFL materials are still there. The CIA were monitoring me and knew my plans since I told the step one in an email.


How I wish a vibrant Yoruba nation that is serious like Germany and the US would emerge in West Africa. If I had an engineering firm and I am sponsoring a research in a university, I would be interested in who are the research fellows, their credentials, brainpower and etc and if an Indian Professor has written a commendation for a 25 year old Indian, I will pay that person, that young man even 100,000 dollars a year to earn his PhD working at my problem. Afterall, brain is the most valuable resource. I am that young man that would have gone to Yale or Harvard if I had applied, since my thesis was the only one published in my graduating class of Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife.

I wish the West African Yoruba country will emerge soon that will carry on in West Africa even better than the US and Germany, attracting young people from all over that have proven themselves. It used to be like that before Nigeria turned upside down.

How would you feel as a young woman, married off to someone who does not even know you yet and is therefore busy chasing other women? It is not a palatable situation for any young woman at all to find herself. How do you invest your life into a young man only for him to go and marry another woman? No young woman would let that happen if she can stop it. It will not happen if her Dad and Granddad are US Presidents and are Mom and Grandmom are US first ladies. Moreso that they were the ones who mandated her to wait. So before I found Barbara, she worked hard, praying, crying and getting confused. She is now married. The other employee, a young man Segun who was as devoted, failed when it mattered most by collecting poison to put in my food from Tola. He was also the one used by the Nigerian actress to draw my attention to her. If anybody will poison my food, should it not have been the women, the two Opes who are both beautiful young women that I could have married?, they cooked for me but did not poison my food despite that they were also my employees but it was Segun who lived with me and was eating my food that did that. Can I marry a man? No. That was very bad of him but he was a hard and dedicated worker too just like the Ope with NCE. Segun is now a graduate.


There were other disruptors in Ile Ife, some when I was an undergraduate and when I was a businessman in Ile Ife but it did not mature as they were easily cut off and we did not do any level of romance. I would not know their grade but the two Opes are As.


I met some people online especially one Oginni lady in the UK, she is from Ilesa, a facebook belle and popular jingo. She approached me herself and showed interest in me. I told her straight about the step one. Then Barbara took up the rest. She came back to tell me 'You are still young, face your business for now'. Well she passed too I believe. She is a Disruptor too. Then one Abeokuta lady, Olanike who contacted me, urging me to forget the step one and that I should realise the value in myself. She was taken off and given a UN job in the UK. Nowadays she has joined the Buhari people. I believe she passed as well, maybe a C. There is a lady, non Yoruba, we became facebook friend and there was of course a chemistry, she was rushed with videos, but she pointed her status at me saying 'Whatever they do dont give up!' A masters student by then. Avoz Ag is now her fb name. Strange. I believe she got an A as a disruptor but no romance of any kind between us like between me and the Oginni lady who asked me to face my business for now.

I will also mention the Awolowo lady who added me on facebook and was unmarried that time, I would not know of now. We exchanged messages or I messaged her eulogising her Granddad but by then I knew clearly that the CIA was in charge and that I would marry from them. So I never encouraged the Awolowo who added me. She was rushed with videos as well but she remained, trailing me on facebook. He just needed to manipulate Tola and the then President Jonathan until I got frustrated enough to ask another lady, step 2, which he did well. I met her in 2004 or thereabouts, seeing she is Japanese, I walked up to her, then said 'Kannichiwa' which means hello that I learnt from some Japanese contractors I met at NAPIMS NNPC during my industrial training there. So I had concluded, I will marry this lady and together we will cater for her siblings that need support but of course the plan was blocked by the CIA in favor of Barbara that had been waiting since 2001. I knew instinctively that she did not come to me of her own accord because I knew by then that I was being monitored but also I saw her as a second chance of one Peju a colleague back at OAU who collected one thousand dollars from her Mom to start a business partnership with me. I did not pursue a romance with her and I felt all the problems I was facing are punishment for that. Afterall, I had no reason not to ask to date her. Osa on the right and Osa on the left. This is the odu of the Iya mi Osoronga, Iya mi Eleye or witches. The story goes that the leadership of the irunmales were dispatched by Olodumare with Ogun, Obarisa and Odu as the leaders. Ogun was given certain powers, Obarisa was also given certain powers and Olodumare bode them farewell. Odu turned back and complained that she is the only woman of the trio and she has no special powers, Olodumare gave her eye or witchcraft saying men will not be successful in anything without taking women into consideration. That is the foundation of Iya mi Osoronga and it is why the crown of a Yoruba Oba carries the Eye insignia as the Iya mi Osoronga are part of the, if not the main part of the coronation committee.


So, because of this, if a querent asks Ifa 'Who is behind my problem?' and the Osa meji comes up, the diviner will greet the odu 'Osa eleye!' and inform the client that it is the Aje that is troubling him or her. On the other hand if it is a query of 'What should I do?' answered by Osa meji that means obviously 'Fight back!' and so on and so forth. So to use the 256 signs properly, you have to understand them properly because in actual fact ifa speaks with you in the language you understand. If your Osa meji means another thing, Ifa will use that as well. Ase.

Osa is used to mean the fleer but I prefer the use as the smiter. I believe both are correct. As the fleer, it wants your enemies to flee from you, as the smiter you smite your enemies.

All normal non religious people know that attack is the best form of defense. Even a majority Christian nation like the US did not turn the other cheek when Pearl Harbor was attacked by the Japanese, neither did the Japanese surrender easily until the US deployed atomic bombs. Ifa deals with the realities of everyday life and not fantasies like turn the other cheek when slapped, love your enemies, do good to your haters, go 20 miles with those forcing you to go 10. Those are demonic codes of conduct to derail humanity. The only rule of Ifa is 'Do not do ika or evil' then you must be able to rationalise all your actions. Be rational. In aggression, be rational. When rendering help, be rational.

We know attack is the best form of defense intuitively is why MFM church reaps billions of Naira by teaching people to pray against their enemies Die! Die! Die by Fire! And etc. All humans are afterall thesame.


In Aborisha practice, you just dont attack, you give the offending party the opportunity to come back to their senses, you offer a few second chances. You wait till they have undone themselves as in 'te' then you attack according to Osa meji
