Got it. Ok Nigerian women do find Nigerian guys to be ugly. Another thing, I've met alot of African American chicks that say Nigerian girls are ugly, When I hear this ofcourse it upsets me but what would you say about their opinions. Being that we are all supposed to be black right?

My sister, no vex ooo. Didnt mean it that way, its just the old saying. But what I mean na say make these brothers no assume say going to naija to go find wife na sure banker to get an angel.

One of my friends even told me that she knows a few marriages that have scattered the moment the naija couple moves from diaspora back to naija because there are a bunch of home wreckers there. Not saying that these men are not at fault, just goes to show you the "expense" of assuming you are guaranteed to find a good girl in naija.

Personally. I wouldn't go to Naija and marry under the "assumptions" that I will find a "good girl." It amazes me when guys do this. How do you possibly get to know a woman when you don't spend that much time with her and she is across the ocean. I would rather deal witht he devil I know (the ones over here) than the one I don't.

From what I hear and see, the ones in Naija are VERY ruthless.

Good question. You never really know until shit hits the fan, thats when you know if it does truly exist or not.

I used to think that it was only women that could be bitter. Wow! I have seen some really good guys turn extremely bitter after being walked all over by some chick. These guys were like "really" good guys before. So nice they were almost like doormats. But now, I wouldnt even introduce my worst enemies to them.

Just curious as I notice tons of complaints about Nigerian men from Nigerian women. And when I say complaints, I mean in all aspects. Especially in terms of physical unappreciation. Even here on Nairaland.

I was just curious as I personally think it is associated with certain aspects of the hindu religions.

My mom used to walk in and open up the curtains so that the sun would splash all up in my face. That was enough to get me up.

It's a VERY cold cold world out there. To think that someone who was like your best friend would go to such an extent to destroy you by messing up your image. I don't care how the break up took place, this sort of thing is very uncalled for. Obviously for the guy to only film her face during their "sessions" meant that he himself had his reservations. What a snake!!!

Hope all is well with you today. I would have to agree with Dammy Ray's response to your latest comment. It would be hard to forgive, but I would have to. Let me pose a question to you:

If "one day" out of frustration from the "woman" a man decides to physically abuse a woman, should she forgive him? Food for thought for you.

I hate to say this but a bunch of guys add weight after marriage too. Especially in the mid section and love handles. My suggestion is that the married couple keep motivating each other. Go to the gym together and monitor and encourage each other. Your spouse is also like or supposed to be your partner. Your spouse is supposed to be your number one cheer leader, so I say live a healthy life together and watch how you eat.

Hey Diva, everything ok? You seem to have alot of relationship questions centering around forgiveness, past and insulting a man. Just noticed this and wanted to just tell you to go with your heart at the end of your search for answers because you are the one in your relationship, if thats the situation.

Ok, something wrong here. There is always a way to fight "fairly." Just as with a man, you shouldn't raise your hand on your woman simply because she doesn't listen. Insulting and raining insults on any grown man or woman will only lead to more issues. As I mentioned before, it is not the right thing to do because it only causes more problems and resentment down the line. Trust me, I have watched it ruin relationships. You may also end up saying things you regret when you cool down but unfortunately the person you are insulting will not forget.
