I mean our everyday mechanics are not mechanical engineers by profession , then why are certified mechanical engineers shying away from this lucrative sector to give the people what they indeed require.

according to Wikipedia, Mechanical engineering is a branch of engineering that applies the principles of Mechanics and Materials science for analysis, design, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems. It involves the production and usage of heat and mechanical power for the design, production, and operation of machines and tools. Try to study what mechanical engineering entails, when you are don studying, then we can have this argument. If all mechanical engineer take up the work of a technician, then who will maintain mechanical systems for the factories and companies in Nigeria, who will design machine systems, who will maintain companies boilers etc

Both companies are in Lagos while I am in Abuja trying to secure another one with a company in the USA through their Nigerian partner who are training us. they force me to withdraw 20k for them in Ado Ekiti despite finding no bad evidence on me last week.

I lived in Ekiti. If you talk about Ado the state capital, then that I can accept but Ikere? No na bro. I don't know how you came to conclusion about it though. For me, transportation and food is extremely cheap in Ikere. The other parts of Ekiti are more like villages for me. Where you won't find banks and other social amenities till you come to Ado or Ikere. Akure is expensive for sure.

ado to Ikere is now about 300 if I'm right, Ado to iyin is also about 200/250, to igede is about 300. Ado to iworoko is about 150. In port Harcourt, Igwuruta to rumokoro is still 100naira which distance is definitely longer than ado to Ikere. When you visit other states, you will realise we are in hell in Ekiti

I'm grateful and thankful to God. Last year was very tough for me I was practically sleeping on the floor in my room at school but God pulled me through and change my life he brought someone I never knew here on nairaland to pay my school fees 70k, and

Ekiti only have two to three good town someone could stay averagely, this are Ado and Ikere. For real Ekiti is very very expensive, the most expensive in the south west, Akure follows. Ibadan and osun are the least expensive, footwear and clothings I bought for 2k and 3k respectively in port Harcourt yesterday is about 7k and 9k in Ekiti. Went to pH for a visit on friday from Ekiti
