Ask yourself these questions:

- What if I disappear, will they look for me?

- If I decide to go offline, will people notice?

- If people don't get reminded of my birthday, will they celebrate me?

- If I become bedridden due to illness for number of days or months, who will stay by my side?

- If I'm in the darkest part of my life, who will show me the light?

- If death comes knocking, what will be my deepest regret?

Sooner or later, you'll realise who really matters, who never did or who always will.
Being a silent reader, i felt the need to commend the amazing job you are doing here. Thanks.

You missed my point
You blame the government both past and present for corruption while you engage in it.
mentioned are saying the same thing??
Noone failed the youth as the youth failed themselves.
We have people here in Nigeria, who came from nothing to nothing because they worked hard and made much from the little.
Leave the leaders and do much for yourself legally[/quote]You mean youth in the aforementioned countries are some sort of angels or something? Obviously you have no idea. My point is a youth deprived of opportunities is likely to turn to crime(though not a valid reason), belive it or not there is a direct link between the two,its a clear and undeniable fact. Besides, Why did Nigeria youths engaged massively in scams and fraud a.k.a 419 in western countries especially in the US in the late 80s? Please read on the causes and effects of that intresting period of Nigeria's histosry, it will aid your understanding of Nigeria's past and to predict its future.

LOL...
It's almost like Yahoo yahoo (the executive fraud) that has plagued young people.
They blame everything including corruption(and i wonder what they are also doing) , stolen property from the whites etc.
We justify every ill or evil carried out to make it right while it's causing pain to someone somewhere.
It's not the country that failed but the person who carries out terrible things
Horrible people
Before you come to me like an angry tiger, first know that i abhor crime in its entirety. However, to say the country's leadership past and present did't failed it's youth means you are out of your depth and have no idea what you are talking about. i suggest you read on how other developing countries such as China,Malaysia,Mexico etc are providing opportunities for its youth or you visit and see things for yourself.

Great! But Most of this points would only be a dream if one is unemployed and poor, and last time i checked Nigeria has one of the highest youth unemployment rate in the world. Most youths in this country are in crisis and this is a cause for concern.

Oga this has nothing to do with who you elect rather the holders of the green passport what they do abroad. Hush puppy, Obiwanne Invictus, Yahoo boys and drug boys from the West/East those that know what I mean, and recently that irresponsible act of some Nigerians in UAE that led to butchering of themselves in the name of cult or gang war kept us like this. Nigerians act irresponsible abroad.
Educate yourself bro! A country's Passport has little to do with the behaviours of its citizens abroad, matter of fact, factors that determines the strength of a passport are mostly; Economic and political stability, bilateral agreements, recipocrity and so on. Last time i checked citizens of other countries are more violent and shady than Nigerians but their countries have stronger passports for meeting the above stated criteria.

No matter what your silly propaganda says actions and heavy handedness has been deployed to quell banditry.
Yet few of them have been convicted, matter of fact its just a drop in the ocean as there are thousands of them out there having a field there. As far as i know the North has never been this insecure, post as many pictures of propaganda as you like, it still won't negate this fact. And there is every reason to belive this menace will continue for years to come, might even get worse or snowballed into something civil-war like, ain't a pessimist but anyone with an intellect wont rule this possibilities out. Instead of being a godforsaken propagandist it would be more fitting of you to start holding this thieves disguising as politicians accountable and responsible for robbing Nigeria of it's riches and bringing the country to it's kness.

Because UAE will definitely offer u these. Mind u, I have not been to Cyprus so I no fit talk anything about d country.

Quite an intresting thread. However, i just wanna point out some fact. Firstly, despite Rwanda having one of the lowest GDP per capita in the world it's citizens enjoy better welfare compare to Nigeria. Besides it's far more politically and socially stable than Nigeria, plus the security and peace there is something Nigerians can only dream of. Secondly, it dosen't produce much which means few jobs, and make no mistake it's citizens are unforgivenly poor. Not recomendable for immigrants unless one has business in mind, and sure it's okay to add it in your bucket list of places to explore in Africa.

Quite astonishing that the basis for his arguments is the willful prostitution some women engage in blaming it on on poverty, men, bla bla bla forgetting they have a choice, matter of fact, some of them willfully choose that path not due to lack but fun and adventure. They don't keep mum like we do. We need to start talking o.

The era of rankadade has passed.

Innocent people are been killed on a daily.

cry embarassed
so you want every tom and harry in the street to take laws into thier hands, as some people in the south do,right? Thats ludicrous. Besides many contributory factors such as extreme poverty, illitracy, bad governance and so on directly played a role for the pathetic situation Arewa/Nigeria found itself. However, i just notice you are calling on people to arm themselves, quite naive of you. The horrible past events in Zamfara and Katsina has thought us vigilantism is never a good idea, as the bad guys will always strike back brutally and mercillesly. Maintaining law and order is the duty of the authorities however innept they may seem.

Somebody please tell OP that incompetence and inneptitude knows no gender, matter of fact the typical Nigerian woman[public office holder] you are trying hard to defend is equally as corrupt if not more than her male counterpart. The likes of Diezani, Stella Oduah, Patricia etteh and so on were a case in point. however, in my opinion building a prosperous society comes down to leadership and good governance nothing to do with gender as you erroneously implied. I doubt you were thinking properly while typing this crap.

I bet you didn’t know that the Igbo community in Liverpool is the oldest said community in the diaspora (1935 start) and that there are a very large number of Nigerians in all major U.K. cities. The London thing is just a myth spread by Nigerians who see the U.K. in simplistic terms.
No,you are wrong, it ain't a myth but verifiable fact that around 75% of Nigerians lived in London and its metropolis. Please make a quick search to know more.

It's not the UK. The reason it seems like the UK is because it's a small country and most Nigerians there live in London and when there's a Nigerian thing happening in London, they all come out. I think there are more Nigerians in the US but are spread out in the 4th largest country in the world.

I'll say the US then followed by the UK. I also have a strong feeling that there are a lot of Nigerians in Cameroon but because i'll eyes are not really in that country, we won't know. It's very common to see Nigerian everyday in Cameroon.
Do you live in cameroon? I just learned through a quick google search that cameroon is among the countries with the highest Nigerian remitances, quite startling to be honest.

South Africa may be better than Nigeria but overall it is not a sought after country to immigrants for obvious reasons. Since you are gainfully employed i suggest European countries, almost everything is fixed and the system works. From relatively cheap western countries like Portugal and Spain to Eastern ones like Czech republic and Poland. Give it a good a shot.
