KlasysTech:If they are married statutory, it does not matter whose name is on paper as the owner of the house.....it belongs to both of them and subject to equitable distribution. It is best she settles with him, they will both be just feeding a lawyer in a contested divorce over an outcome which is very obvious - assuming both sides are able to enter their evidences into record. |
seunmsg:The two people who gave interview above, the first day.... ‘Fayemi’ which is obviously APC and the second one fingered PDP...why are singling out only one camp when both are doing it? |
dafeyankee:I doubt if everyone that collected will show up at the voting booth tomorrow, others will even show up and still vote their conscience and necessarily the candidate for which they collected money. The smart ones will collect money from APC and still go line up and collect from PDP and not show up on Election Day or vote whoever they pleases. To many government does nothing to benefit them and this is their only means of getting their share of the proverbial National Cake. |
SenorFax:Except the part here, where he insisted he didn’t do the killing and that, it was his friends; he only helped dig the grave and bury her. |
If that was in the USA, he would have been dead by now. |
space book, let me go to the library and research, develop and construct my comment. |
mayorjosh:Defamation charges my foot. Not everyone shakes at the mention of defamation suits again, Dino won millions in defamation against Sahara Report, how much he don collect? Sahara even pulled a no-show on all the trials hence Dino won by default but he could not collect a dime. I bet you can’t mention one person that have collected on defamation suits in Nigeria. Plus, if you contest these suits these celebrities will run to take cover, because you have a right to discoveries; which includes interrogatories, request for answers, production of documents, etc...many celebrities are uncomfortable with this level of disclosing their private lives and would prefer to withdraw the case down the road, if they see that, you didn’t chicken but rather mount a rigorous defense. |
I'm stranded somewhere, please 5k for T-fare I beg of you. 2038969498. UBA. May God reward you trillion foldsIf you are stranded, go to the nearest Police Station. The Police is your friend and they are there to serve and protect you, and this is a perfect time to put them to the test. But....BTW, you are stranded and need cash, but were able to buy data to post this message, be checking Nairaland and replying to posts? Are you sure you are not a professional e-beggar? |
This was the practice and belief during the olden days. However, there is a caveat to it. The man must properly marry the lady and must not skip the traditional marriage unification that involves the man killing a goat for the woman...the isokos have a name for this, it has to do with ‘rescuing the head of the woman’. The above is the reason why, if a woman cheats on an Isoko man, the woman must kill a goat for the man as part of the cleansing, but only if the man killed a goat for her. If the man didn’t kill any goat, there is no killing of goat by the woman and no cleansing and nothing will happen to the man, because the main traditional thing of consulting the ancestors by the killing of the goat did not occur. Also in Isoko beyond being a taboo, relatives don’t date each other, it is believed that the ancestors will strict both of dead unless you perform cleansing rituals....even seeing your relative unclothedness by mistake requires a cleansing ritual to avert the wrath of the gods. But, like I said before; the efficacy of these things are in doubt today, becos many of these villages no longer worship these ancestral spirit, regular ancestral festivals no longer holds, evil forest has been taken over by development in many communities and religious growth have seriously watered down these. |
Nightmareo07:Can you even climb a tree now? |
leunamme93:The truth is, the bank’s primary function is not to protect you, it is to make profit for it’s board and shareholders. System changes to add security are expensive and the sad truth is, the banks are unwilling to break the bank to do that for you, while other banks are not doing it. Your cry should be to CBN and the regulatory bodies in Nigeria to force these changes down their throat. Else, the banks wouldn’t do it, they wouldn’t loose a dime here, the worst case scenario they will make the Airtime merchant eat the cost and pull the money from those accounts to repay you. Even in rear circumstances where they are made to eat some cost, they have insurance that protects them, the insurance will come in and reimburse them. So, you can see that there are no incentives to plug all these security holes and no repercussion if they don’t. Already, just like most people will do in the situation, you are protecting the bank by leaving their name out. They are very happy with this, now they wouldn’t have a public backsplash and pressure to do anything. But, if people defrauded start calling out the name of these banks and a common thread emerges, they will feel the pressure to do something because their profit would be affected if people start moving their money and stop banking with them. |
It’s all staged and the guy is not even a good actor and pretender. Slap neva reach him face, the guy dey dive dey fall for ground, if na soccer na, him for done collect red card. |
Buy her nicely packaged and sealed gift with lovely and romantic cover and designs on her next birth.....but the content should be toothpaste and brush, she will get the message, |
Trendy247:Suicide is still regarded as a taboo in that part of Nigeria, so he will not be given a normal burial. The community first need to be cleanse and his body dump in some ‘evil forest’ in the dead of the night. The son’s wife on the other hand will be given a normal burial. |
LivingFree:The lady wearing white was holding a knife though, watch the 0.45 mark on the video. Nigerians in the US should be careful with these AA, they are already mad that you are ‘collecting all their jobs’ and they don’t have much to loss as they may already have a record, so another felony is not a big deal to them, but a misdemeanor will definitely hurt you real bad! |
How can five people impregnate one person? |
I don’t know if it is the Ho or the Moderator that pushed this to front page that is seeking more attention because of their perceived low esteem and desire to remain relevant despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Given what makes Nairaland front page these days, it is good to conclude that we are on a downward spiral here. |
twayne01:Temporary plates does not tell how someone paid for their car. When you buy a car either new or used, whether it is cash n carry or financed your registration have to be submit to the State’s motor vehicle authority, but while they process your documents which take days or approximately a week, you can get on the spot temporary plates or dealer plates, which enables you to legally operates the vehicle until your permanent plates arrives in your mailbox or you pick them up at the dealer (optional and depends if you elect to pick it up at the dealer). |
nairalandaddict:How are they different? The picture from the gas station was a temporary plates expiring on June, 22. That was an old picture, you will even notice that the car was a bit more newer on that pic. |
Is her pussy Why invest a brand new car on a used pussy? Just saying... |
Keep deceiving yourself that, the offer of 150k was not the motivation behind you shaving your hair. You accepting ‘because of the storyline’ was the storyline not there before the offer of cash? Why didn’t you accept before the cash offer showed up? Ogbeni relax, we know country hard and you felt 150k is a good price to get rid of your hair...period! |
Later dem go say love....love...love...if that guy told him, he was an okda driver, will she her “loved”. |
KingLennon:Enough to plaster 3 bedroom duplex inside & outside! Some fit even remain to start or even finish the flooring join. |
The rich also cry.....enuff said! |
Some people can dey ask some kind question eh! Dem dey ask person say rain dey fall again? OP reason the thing with common sense small na, dat thing legit 4 ur eyes? Wich kind test dem wan rest run again? You better start looking for another job, only hold on to this as long as you have not gotten something else, but don’t rely on this job and their ‘test’.... I always ask my interviewers questions especially about the reason for the new hire....if it was due to growth or if the position was occupied by someone else before and if if were, I prob them about what happened to the previous person, etc. Most likely they were ‘test running’ the previous person past his or probation period and he had to leave or they fired him after using him and try to replay that scenario with you again... |
He is still immature and not ready for marriage yet, he is also self centered and most likely thinks the universe resolves around him. If you made the mistake of getting married to him, be ready to foresake you, your goals and aspirations and live a life that revolves around him and any attempt to break out of that, will result in anger, quarrel and lack of peace in the home. |
olaiiht:He stated that....”the mother was there crying with her burnt daughter”? |
minasota:Nay! Constructing separate road for heavy duty vehicles is not feasible and totally unwise...plus it will not solve any problem. We as citizens are the root cause of all these accidents, because we have failed to hold these companies accountable. Take for instance, the incident that happened in Lagos-Ibadan expressway yesterday, if that was in the US, the company that own that tanker would be out of business by now. The liability from the lawsuits alone will cripple the company. But, in Nigeria the few people that sues, end up accepting merger payout from affected companies and settle out of court - chalking everything up to God and the fact that...’no amount of money will bring back the death’. Because of these lackluster altitude from Nigerians affected by these tragedies, these companies are not held accountable and hit very hard were it hurt them most, which is their pocket book and as a result they do not exact enough controls and monitor over their drivers and vehicles. Heavy duty trucks and tankers carrying PMS ply the same road that other vehicles uses in the US every single day...but those companies have strict control over their drivers with mandatory drug test, background check, limit on how many hours they must be behind the wheel for each rolling 24hrs, there are weight checks, speed checks, along points on the road. These companies know that, they can’t afford the liabilities that comes. All these Dangote truck hit this, kill this, damage that, can be checked if Nigerians start demanding full restitution and not settle...there are many jobless law graduate youths who can make a living out of this....make these companies pay and they will start exacting controls. |

O boy! why ruin the nice fence? Would have just crashed it into SARS instead, and it would have been good riddance to bad rubbish. |
