Another thing I wanted to point out is that, you should know that, you have been doing the safe period calculation wrong and it has been purely luck she has not been pregnant all these while and the time just perfectly fell into place this time around. Some ladies see their menses for three days, some seven days, others a little above seven days for other timelines in between...and as such, the best way to calculate safe period is from the first day of her menses and not the last day... Start checking for ovulation signs from the 10th to 16th day from the time she first saw her menses or totally avoid doing it within this time period if you don't want pregnancy. If her menses last for seven days and you guys did it on the 3rd from the last time she saw her menses as you indicated, then she can be pregnant. Also note that, female spermatozoa can live in the uterus for upto 72hrs, so if you deposited them on the 19th, they can still cause havok until the 22nd. As for the date of 'conception' that Doctors usually give, note that they don't actually tell you the exact date of conception, they give you an estimate based on the date you told them your last menses was or through early pregnancy ultrasound and note these estimates are usually accurate within one to five days. Please, note that nothing above indicates that pregnancy belongs to you or not, it just another sets of data points to chew on. Look on the bright side, you will soon be a father or a free untangled man! |
You already have doubts, only a DNA test can clear that. So, wait for the next 8 months and the whole thing shall be resolved. Meanwhile explain your rationale to her and the fact that she contributed to it through her rather lucid chat with this guy. As for her making the house hell for you, those are empty threats...is she not going to stay in the same hell-house with you? In marriage, we begat what we sow, one of the parties cannot sow hell and expect heaven. |
Dem even try to handle him humanly, he can't even try that in common danfo in Lagos. They would have seized his shoes, luggage, tire his shirt, his trousers and throw him head-first out of the moving danfo. And the lady filming and opening her mouth, if she feel that level of passion for the guy, she should have opened her purse or shock hand inside her breazia and pay the fare for the guy, instead she is there waving the racism flag. |
lalanice:There are 7.2b people on earth, a quarter of those are couples; and why do you think, the thunder only strike in one place? |
crackhouse:Why should he be arrested? He is fulfilling a constitutional mandate, all criminal charged before a court must be fully represented by a compete lawyer, if they insist on not going pro-se, else the case will not proceed. Also, the lawyer is only asking for the laws of the land to be obeyed here, you must charge a criminal to court within 48 hours of arrest and if you think a continual detention is still necessary, argue those merits before a judge and oppose any bail. |
Clearly, the fault is yours; you didn't set any clear boundaries, plus she does not respect you or privacy period! There is nothing you can do about her not respecting privacy, but you can start setting boundaries. She even come into your bedroom, when you are sleeping or taking a nap, I think you have more issues to deal with than your phone. I just hope your wife is strong willed and independent minded, else I foresee some challenges ahead. Her curiosity will not end, if you block direct access like your phone, bedroom, etc; she might start using her daughter. My friend, you have your work cut out for you, marriage is not easy, sometimes it involve delicate balancing acts like these....wishing you the best! |
torres89:You can say the same thing about women, infact all mankind, I guess what your point and any reason to single out men in particular when this is a general flaw? |
Men home owner taxes are dam cheap in Maryland, no wonder lots of people are leaving North East to that place and South. That mansion taxed $16k, will not be anything less than $50k in my neck of the wood. |
You are moving with the wrong crowd, change your friends or at least swap some out, you will thank me later. As for your brother...oh boy! Wish one can choose those too! Well, until Science and time travel advances to that point, just flat out ignore him period! |
How dem take know say him bi badoo? Abi badoo don dey issue ID card for their members? |
eyeview:Many of your premises are wrong, I will like to call you on one.... Please, any pastor out there who sees clear signs that the union won't work and thus lead to more divorce, should call it off or walk away and absolve himself of any punishment from God whom He is representing Firstly, there is nothing like church wedding in the Bible, I would have asked you to reference any scriptures that supported your claims about God punishing pastors if the wedding they officiated ended in divorce. Which essentially means your premises and conclusions here are wrong. Secondly, the union between believers is kept by God and not the Pastor. It is the ability of both parties to listen to God and abide by his words that will make their marriage grow and not end in divorce. No one have the ability to discern that a marriage will eventually end in divorce by merely looking at the couples or asking a few questions...And to state that a Pastor should not bother with a wedding ceremony, because he/she felt the marriage is doom is same as saying a Pastor should not bother minister to repented souls because he/she discern they will backslide eventually. Church marriage is just a dedication before God, there is no scripture for or against it; baby dedication have more scriptural antecedents compare to marriage and I have not yet seen any Pastor refusing to dedicate children, because they believe, it will set the right course for the baby and parent involved. |
semoyin:What was the foul play detected by the Pastor or you referring to a different video? Having papers or the lacks thereof, has nothing to do with love. The Pastor is wrong to conclude that, since the guy has no papers, therefore the marriage must be fake and not for love...common sense will tell you that much, I know common sense is not common. If the Pastor was concerned if they loved each other, he would have asked both of them instead of running into a conclusion...or he would have asked them directly if they are conducting the marriage to circumvent immigration laws. Plus, my guess is they didn't walk up to him that very day and ask to marry them...He had plenty of time to counsel them, but failed or more importantly, he would have erected a big bold sign that says something like...'No marriage between paper-owners and non paper-owners'. |
Came:I doubt you are not a Nigerian and foreign to Nigeria customs & culture. When she said she paid her bride price herself and if it were true, those who understands Nigerian culture will get it that she CANNOT paid her bride price directly, but can prove the funds for the bride price to the husband, who then will pay it. Many ladies have done this, but it should be discouraged, it shows desperation. Though am still on the fence about her paying her bride price, this refund does not make one disbelieve or believe her more. My take away here is that, this is a publicity stunt by Churchill to shame her and might lay more credence to her story. |
Evans indicated that, it was the money he gave his father and the father used to open his poultry business. In the spirit of this 'forgiveness', I guess the father has liquidated the poultry business and forward the check to the government investigating team, this way they can be used as part restitution payment to his victims? |
luminouz:I don't think the extra one spood of milk was the issue....a single grain of sand can be sufficient to tip the scale and capside a bridge if it has been piling on for a very long time. This guy must have sensed the scales tipping for a long time, anyone would have; but he ignored it or felt that he is doing enough to keep the scales from tipping over, not knowing that his efforts are not nearly enough. |
Saying you were evicted and they took you in, conveys the impression that, they are only giving you accommodation. But, it appear your ungrateful lazy behind have turn them to your bread and butter. They are not your parents, if am not mistaking, there are a few motherless babies home around or use google, some might bend their rules and take a full grown baby-adults. |
thesicilian:The problem is not mosquito, it's malaria. If you like kill all the questions in the world, but if your environment is unkept, it will continue to breed malaria parasites, which will just hop on another vector as a transport mechanism. Mosquito are harmless, FYI, there are still mosquitoes in the US, but malaria parasite have been vanquished. Only about 2,000 cases of malaria are reported in the US yearly (out of 300mil people) and these reported cases are from immigrants who just returned from their foreign home country....and in 2015, only about 63 cases of US locally transmitted malaria, these resulted from mosquitos in the US biting and transmitting the disease from the returnees above. |

Michel2013:Great that, we are keeping this professional and at a debate level....believe me! despite my arguments and also the fact that am not a biafrian, if a referendum is floated, I will heartedly voted for BiafraExit, because I believe you cannot force any group to remain associated with a group they having been calling to part with for decades. Now...As you stated Nigeria is a Federation constituting of federating units call states. From Wikipedia; "A federation is a political entity characterized by a union of partially self-governing states...under a central federal government....their self-governing status...as well as the division of power is typically constitutionally entrenched and may not be altered by a unilateral decision of either party... I agree that each state in the SE are legal entity, but this legality is bounded by the constitution and only allow for [b]partial self-government. I think, you are making a big deal about the world 'General Election'...General Election does not have a special meaning and not attached to a particular event...it simply means 1. Election - You are given an opportunity to elect(pick) one choice out of two or more; in this case since a referendum will involve at least two choices (Yes/No), it is therefore an Election.....2. General - i.e. it is open to everyone who fall under the eligibility status. You can have a general election to decide a referendum question i.e. a referendum is a subset of the work 'General Election'...and you can also have a referendum question during General Elections, therefore General Elections is not only to elect representatives...The referendum that you calling for, can be done during a General Election..many states/countries do this to save cost and also to make such more people vote on the referendum question...but the truth is, this is not the main point of this discussion. Biafra conducted an unsuccessful revolution from 1967 - 1970, Biafra surrender to the Federal Military Government. Also remember that, it was this same call for referendum that started the 1967 revolution...After that Aburi Accord fall through, because Awolowo threaten to also cede the West, if the East was allowed to secede..the North kicked against the accord and joined forces with the West...This opposition lead the East to hold a referendum among themselves and they voted to cede...we know what happened thereafter. Now, where you might have a legal standing is the Aburi Accord...Biafra lawyers that dust up that document and see if it has any legal standing. Though the North and West backed out, but legally, you cannot back out of a bidding legal deal just because you found out later that, it is a bad deal...with that, you can start legal proceedings within Nigeria (offcourse, the courts are going to shut you out), but the goal is to take it to the international court. The other option is a referendum by all Nigerians, you can shame the federal government into doing this...the federal government already assume that, a plurality of Biafrians want to cede, so they are not going to allow only people from that region to vote on the referendum, so opening it up to all Nigerians is a better compromise and the truth is, if you engage in a good campaign, you might get the votes...there are other millions of Nigerians, who truly don't care if BiafraExit or not and can easily vote for you, more because you want to Exit. Lastly, you can try the Revolution route the second time....Finally, there is another simple and logical reason while only the affected people in a region are not allow to vote to cede e.g. there are some Delta States who produces the milk and honey for the whole Country and will grab at the opportunity to cede from Nigeria if they simply know that by demanding for a referendum, the federal government will yield to their demands and also make only people from that Delta Region to vote...I know a number of Niger Delta States who will cede immediately...you can see why though, the question allowing votes on referendum is good and must be encouraged even by the federal government, but citizens of Nigeria should be given the opportunity to vote on that question and not just the citizens from the affected region, this way we have checks and balances and a stable federating unit. |
Jomark:Scotland is a country, UK is not. UK is an association form by four countries Scotland, England, Wales & North Ireland. Any of the four countries can vote to leave U.K. |
Michel2013:I know exactly what I am saying, SE is not a legal entity and can not by voting constitute a legal entity call 'Biafra'. Nigeria is the legal entity and all Nigerians have to vote on that referendum...Yes, referendum is a general election in that, the general public must participate. The examples you gave gave credence to my point e.g. 1. British Cameron Referendum of 1961: British Cameron was a legal entity by itself, it was a federating unit and the vote was, if they want to join Nigeria or join Cameron. Again, only a valid legal entity can conduct a referendum...Northern Cameron eventually voted to join Nigeria, while Southern Cameron voted to join Cameron. 2. Scottish Referendum to stay/exit UK: Scotland is a country of it's own, with its own laws, entities and constituent Authorities. England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland voted to form UK, and each country can up and leave whenever they feel like, without the other having a say in it, because each of these countries are recognized worldwide as distinct federating units. All these is more possible because when forming the UK, each country reserved their rights to self-determination. Though, they were trying to copy USA, but the bonds among them was deliberately made to be more loose compare to to the bond between states in the USA. I have to pull up the British Cameron Referendum to see, if the biding documents enumerated that these former entities can cede if they choose to. In the case of the US, none of the 50 states can cede without the consent of the majority of the other states unless that state do it successfully by a way of revolution aka war. The same is applicable to the question Biafra, they were not part of any federating unit that joined Nigeria and even at that, there is no biding legal document pre-serving their rights to cede or self-determination, therefore the only valid Exit path is by successful revolution or consent of other states in Nigeria through a referendum. |
BabaCommander:Same goes for a thief....A thief caught stealing is not a correct thief, else he/she would have covered all his/her bases. |
Stories that touches the heart.... but each time these people ends that stories with something like, '...the government should forgive him...he has change...or they will make him change...or that if he is released..'...I start laughing in Swahili.... does these people think that, the rule of law is Reverend Father that you confesses your sins to on Saturday, he forgives your sins with enough time left to take the holy communion on Sunday? |
Gourdoinc:A referendum cannot be organized by igbos alone, the whole federating unit call Nigeria must vote on the referendum, for it to be legit. And I think, he is going about it, the right way, but not only Igbos will vote....That said, I do not see how the referendum will pass in Nigeria. For it to pass, Biafrans have a lot of work to do: 1. They must all vote overwhelmly for the referendum like high 90%, which is near impossible. 2. Sell the idea of BiafraExit to other Nigerians, so they can get votes from other sections of the country. |
Though, I do not support Kanu and do not care one the other if Biafra become a Nation or not... But, a referendum is a legitimate democratic process. What is the government afraid of with a referendum? I even thought, the government would welcome the idea of a referendum. Democracy is a government of the people by the people, referendum gives the people a voice to determine who rules them, and the truth is, it will be bring the true color of this biafra movement. The referendum must be open to all Nigerians to vote, I do not see how that referendum will pass, because more than 50% of Nigeria will for against BiafraExit, and will be put a dent on his agitations, however if more than 50% of Nigerians voted for the exit, it is a good thing, because majority of Nigerians made the decision and saw it fit for Biafra to go. I think, the government is not elected to impose themselves on the people, they derive their power from the people, so using brute force will not help anyone. |
lofty900:Dino was dully elected and rightly earned his salaries....Danladi's Candidacy for even the Senate Election was challenged by Mr. Isa Lau....Isa won the highest vote during the primary, but his name was substituted by Danladi's name. So Danladi was not fully elected, the Supreme Court also ordered INEC to issue a certificate of return to Isa...All the monies, salaries, entitlements that Danladi has enjoyed so far, were dully Isa's and he can sue and have everyone of those given back to him at the expense of Danladi. |
Na wao for 9ja... I am the worst in this category, I have not collected my primary school leaving certificate, have not collected WAEC, have not collected GCE certificate, have not collected BSc certificate, I have been fine with just the statement of results, they can keep the certificates. |
All those rumors of goats and dogs giving birth to half human/half animal and a range of other ugly creatures must be true. It is anyone's imagination, what the resulting offerings would be, if one of his million sperms fertilize the goat's eggs. |
ikp120:Ok, I see your angle now...However, remember that lots of case laws and precedents exist to charge and convict a leader for the crimes of his gang, even if he/she was not actively involved in that crime as long as the crime was committed in process of actualizing the main objective of the group, which in this case is Kingnapping. I have even read case laws, where the gang members are given a deal they can't afford to loss in other to serve as witness against their leader. What I see in this case is...Evan will plead guilty and get life sentence in exchange he will cooperate with authorities to get other criminal element, the guy is already singing, implicating his wife, etc; he will take any deal to save his children of the humiliation from a public trial and a gamble at possible death penalty. This way, both sides can declare some measure of victory. |
AnonyNymous:I will ask the 'don't ask question'....talk true how know? If you not a subscriber NOW, it means you must have been a subscriber before or you have friends who are subscribers, abi the guy get free trial and you must have ran out the trial period? I beg, confess make devil shame. |
ikp120:The law was sign on February 1, 2017; so was in effect when Evan was riding high on his crime and therefore applicable. This is a recycled ole news published just to attract some of the Evan related traffic. BTW, how did you know that, none of his victims died, do you have an inside scope into all his crimes. Please, don't rely on anything out there and we should be careful of our utterances before we are called to testify to what we know nothing about... You made a self implicating categorical statement only someone privy to Evan's total operations would know and it will be reasonable for law enforcement to think that, you have more info and will be within their scope to invite you in for questioning. |
