markovnikoff001:Dr at the scene of an accident? And in Nigeria for that matter, it was indicated that cross personnel were there, so they can make that call, though only doctors can issue death certificates, but not all deaths in 9ja are issued death certificates. Plus if you take her to the Dr., they will not admit her. |
The guy is a retired soldier who served this country, and his Army number is visibly displayed there and he is at a National Hospital and you guys can't locate his family? All Nigeria Army have next of kins on file, what about placing a call to the Directory of the Army personnel? Also, the guy must be collecting pension and to maintain that, he must be attending the regular Army pension, so the pension board must have his info, including his current town of abode, bank account, relative, etc; a call to them is in order. |
rubsaphy:Unless am sucidal (...and am not), nothing will make me reconsider a lady who have threaten to poison me. Especially, as a girlfriend or wife, they will occupy that unique position of preparing my meals..person no dey use life play calucalu like that. |
I will not take her, she would have been right if she curse the guy, torn his clothes or break stuff like car mirror, etc but threatening to poison him, she crossed the line. Even if you are mad, love does not harm or threaten harm on the object of his/her admiration. She does not love him, she misses the Lekki apartment and want a comfy place for her ill mother. Marriage is not a bed of roses, she have shown that, she is unhinged when irate, don't ever think you can change anyone or enter in a relationship with the hope that someone will change; if you don't like it 'as is' move on. I can bet you 110% that, if you accept her in the near future or when you guys have gotten married situations and circumstances that will irate her to this level will occur and she will again wish she poison you or would have succeed in doing it before you realize it. Count yourself luck many people, who went into marriage never had this type opportunity to know the true color of the person, they will be spending the rest of their lives with and they regret every moment of it. And never you fall into the trap of 'pitying' her mother's condition in accepting her. You don't go into any relation out of pity or out of the abundance of your heart or because the other person is suffering...despite the fact that, they appear to be close, charity and love are light years apart. Good luck! |
POS machines uses GSM network to dial into the network to validate customer transactions. With the nature of networks in Nigeria, most Nigerians have two or three phones or multiple SIM cards in one phone in order to stay connected. This guy must have experienced some service degradations in the past hence he has multiple in order to ensure business continuity at all times. Also, if he wants to deposit money into more than one account of his, he need multiple POS. Plus, most igbos sell items on behalf others, friends and those friends reciprocate as well, so if he sell Obira's shoes it is less complicated if he uses Obira's POS to complete the transaction, instead of the money going into his account and they start doing further arithmetic late and moving VAT from one merchant to another and the consequences of how government audit will view and assign those VAT payments, etc. |
My people, I have a question though...Are those breast? I sincerely need an answer, ladies in the house you can chime in...I truly want to get diverse opinions on this important question. Don't get me wrong, they qualify as mammalian glands, the real question is do they also qualify as breast aka boobs? |
ladyF:This is all I do about nothing, re-read what Wazkid wrote, he did not issue a death threat and he did not say he will kill her - he simply said he will have someone beat her to a pop. I guess the Police don't have much on their hands these days. Disclaimer: I know neither Wazkid nor Linda and truly don't care if one is locked up and the keys thrown into bar-beach or the other beaten to a pop. Though, one will relish the savoy that either or both scenarios will bring. |
If the driver of a moving vehicle jumps out, the vehicle will not come to a smooth and straight stop, parallel to the road as depicted in the above pictures. Those 'eye witness' account are not accurate, the drive must have come to a complete stop, before abandoning the vehicle to it's fate. |
Just like many others have indicated, there are myriad of ways to go about this, but every one of them involve some type of networking or interconnection. First thing first, take stock of the resources of each of the PCs and Printer and the distant between them...e.g. Do the PCs have NIC, parallel or serial port, Wifi adapter or spare USB port? What about the printer, is it a network printer and if yes, does it have a NIC or does it have wifi capabilities, does it have parallel, serial or USB port for printing. Note that all disimilar ports types must be converted to same port types by some bridge or adapter. Next determine your budget, but for efficiency, performance and durability, go with LAN or Wifi interconnection, except on or multiple of the devices are not LAN compatible or do not have the needed port/interface. Remember, that you can easily convert one port type/interface to another desired one via an adapter/bridge. The lest expensive but albeit crude method is to use some type of manual or automatic parallel switching device. For LAN printing, you can have all PCs print directly to the printer (only possible if the printer have a NIC or WiFi), a quasi-equivalent of this is to buy any cheap PC (any PC that can run OS will do) as a printer server, the printer connects to this PC via parallel or serial port, you install the printer driver(s) on the PC, then share the printer. Then the other computers can route their print job through the printer server....note that, for easy of operation, if the four PCs are running different types of OS, the printer driver for each of those OSes should be loaded on the printer server...this way, all the PCs can easily download it and install it, when you start configuring the shared printer on each PC, otherwise you will have to individually install the drivers on each of the PCs for which a driver is not available at the print server. The other LAN option is, if the printer have a NIC or wifi adapter. This is very straight forward, just install printer driver on each PC and point to the IP address of the printer. You can also enable remote or internet printing as well, but this is beyond the scope of your question. |
Hopefully, this is not comedy... The guy have a good case, but for him to prevail, he must fire and replace his current lawyer(s). No one should have any faith in a lawyer that put out such a poor and ill prepared write up, they must be fired. He should not go cheap on lawyers here and, there are many experience lawyers that can handle this case on a pro bono basis or with no upfront fees but a third (or some percentage) of the eventual payout and can wait until the payout is collected or don't get paid. This is not a case for a charge and bail lawyer to handle. |
93damsel:You forgot No.2, let me add it for you... 2. Receiving money from your bf or allowing him to buy things for you or asking him to do same and not pulling your own weight financially in the relationship. (long throat!...you don't eat where you didn't sow or labor) |
TippyTop:Why is Buhari not going after IBB, that is the person that overthrew him in the 1985 coup and IBB hands are not clean when it comes to konruption, under his tenure Naira exchange rate went from about N0.9 to over N17, an increase of more than 1700%...if you compile the list of Buhari's enemies, IBB should top that list, if not at the very top. Abi Buhari dey fear face? |
ogoplus:I don't think the question to be resolved have anything to do with her character, behavior or even the specific of the accident or who was wrong or right. The Supreme Court will examine a very narrow sentencing guideline used by the lower court and determine if it is applicable to someone convicted of the type of crime she was convicted of. So whether she lay low or lay high, or made peace with the family of the decease or curse them out, it will have no bearing on whether she goes to jail or not. Those, actions will only win her back a few fans in the court of public opinion. |

iyb:Gee! I don't believe you said most single women who go stay in a hotel are prostitutes, do you care to share your source? |
He was not charged for not paying the prostitute as you stated at the top of the article. Prostitution is illegal and you cannot use the courts to enforce an illegal deal or contract. He was charged because he stabbed the lady. |
I think, it is high time Nigeria start employing smart enforcement to this drug trafficing problem, if we intend to see some level of sanity. More efforts should be made to get the actual masterminders, including cutting deals with these low hanging fruits 'drug couriers' as long as they fully corporate and help investigators in fishing out and prosecuting their master minders. Most of the times, these low hanging fruits are left to take the full brute of the law by themselves by the over zealous prosecutors, while the actual kingpins go hurt for another courier in the sea of many waiting to get a buck or two to feed their family. Don't get me wrong, there is no justification for agreeing to be a drug carrier, but the government should do more to protect the weak and vulnerable among it's people... With the way the economy is going right now and the verdict from the government itself that, things will get worst before they start getting better, there is going to be an uptick in crimes and drug pushing....brace for it. In Delta State, my own state for that matter and an oil producing and rich state, people are literally dying, some local governments have not paid salaries for upto seven months, and the price of goods and services have doubled since the naira vs dollar debacle, and the government still expect these people to come to work and do their jobs? These people have to feed their families, they have to pay their rents and even keep some for NEPA despite the fact that they don't even see the light...very soon, something have to give.... The Nigeria government should as well convert every available government warehouse to prison now, because the prison and jail population is about to exploid, at least those who cannot avoid to pay rent on account of the government's inabilities to pay salaries will get free accommodation from government and some free albeit awful meal - now they can't afford any food, so an awful prison meal will be an upgrade. |
Slickest:O boy, Nobi all lawyers bi lawyers, some na just charge and bail lawyers...from his own narration, he must be a real estate lawyer, but hopefully he have friends on the civil prosecution side of the trade that can go to bat for him. |

UrennaNkoli:I was thinking the same thing, about her been embarrassed, but she really took it with grace and smiles. She must have encountered it many times, if not everyday and have decided to put a positive spin on it, instead of allowing it to get to her. Men, can be very useless at times and operates as real zombies. Inherit in all men, is a child mode that can be activated by any woman, you just have to look for that child-mode button, once you discover it, you can control their entire being and even their entire soul...I do not know why more wives/ladies can't look for this button, instead of trying to match strength with strength when it comes to relationships with their man. This is what the equality movement are missing, when challenged men's inherit ego kicks in to fight on their behalf, but if you activate their child-mode button, they are as powerless and defenseless as a little child and behaves entirely as a child...and the woman/lady can get all she want, which I believe is the major goal of the equality movement. |
mekeloby:I will agree with you on that, based on the theory...looking back LTE-A was supposed to be the true LTE standard and 4G, until the marketing folks and powerful Telecom providers put pressure and water it done, hence 3G or 3.5G technologies like HSPDA+ were re-braded as '4G' leaving the true 4G aka LTE hanging, which eventually calls for LTE-A, with nothing but the original LTE specs. Current papers calls for 10 MBS on 5G, but my guess is, when it come to actually 3gpp final formulation industry giants are going to exact pressure again to water it done and as such, we will end of getting something that is called '5G' but with LTE-A speed, which was the original intended 4G. Standardization work have started on 5G...https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/5G, 2020 is the expected first rollout and not standardization start date. |
texazzpete:Those test results are very poor and disappointing for a lightly loaded LTE eNodeB, and if you think that is an indication of the speed you will get, I have a bridge to sell you. Total capacity at each eNodeB is shared among all active users, if only one subscribed is connected, he/she gets the total available speed, if two subs are connected, the speed experience to both is degraded according, now when 100 or more people are sapping data from the same eNodeB, they drive the speed to a near standstill. On a 20 MHz channel, LTE calls for about 100 Mbs down/ 50 Mbs up....LTE-Advance aka 5G tops this up at 1000Mbs down/500Mbs up. The above quote speed are near half of recommendations, which tells me that the current type and number of antennas are not been used and/or more need to done for antenna optimization and the proper type of antenna and localized tuning/optimization should be chosen for the proper type of Geo-population center to achieve true LTE benefits, not a one size fit all antenna. Nigeria telecoms should implement technologies that offloads data from their UMTS micro cell to specialized local devices like WiFi, Femtocell, metrocell, etc. |
GAZZUZZ:Vehicles are now compactalized, with a good scanner, your vehicle manual and access to YouTube, you barely need a mechanic these days as vehicles have gone computer. The truth is, I now only need a mechanic when I need body work or painting done on my car. With my scanner, I can locate the bad component and YouTube have countless videos on how to change them and if it a scanner code can result from the malfunction of more than one component, with my meter and a few more YouTube search, you can acertain the normal readings or behave of the component eliminate the one that doesn't conform. |
Sunymoore:Those factors are also common to other vehicles as well...I believe the point is restricted to fuel consumption as it relates to engine, all other things been equal. |
delishpot:That is not a smart move, it is stupid to lie about what is already in the public domain for the whole world to see. The employer will know if you are lying or not and it is easy to confirm. |
Taryur3:You might have some points in your comment, but your use of the generalization "Black American wives" just lump everyone that fits that demography into one bucket and labeled them the same, which is not true. Pre phrasing it with, some or most you have met or heard about is more accurate. |
Taryur3:Dud, you paint with too wide a brush. |
My guy, you dey dull my hand well well...ok tell me, who wears the pants (aka trouser) in that house you or her? It is a shame that, you have to hide under the cover of darkness and your sleeping wife to check her phone behind her back. I guess, if she catches you in the act, you go kneel down beg her to forgive you, upon say she is the one that might be wrong...And if if her phone is like mine, any wrong password enters secretly sends a selfie of the intruder to my email...more naive pictures of you that she will use to make fun of 'her yeye husband' in front of her female friends and likely with the guy she is cheating with...my guy make you stop to dey fall my hand. If you are suspecting her of something, the trust is broken, confront it headon and if it happens that you are wrong, simply apologize...after all both of you are married and you must offend each other every now and then. You should never be afraid of offending your spouse, if anything err on the side of caution and offend them...and as you might have experienced, the makeup of those offenses is very electrifying and full of sparks, I need not go further. My advise is, since she will not give you the phone willingly....time her; whenever she is with the phone, forcefully grap it and stand your ground, tell her the reason you took the phone and that she is acting suspiciously, tell her you are going to check the phone, if she tries to fight back simply walk/drive away from the house with the phone making sure that the thing did not lock...then satisfy your curiosity...chances are you might be wrong, eat humble pie and apologize, take any punishment she wishes to dish out because of your supposed ill-manners, tell her that her behavior informed your decisions, also make sure you keep an open book as well. If you can't confront her openly and directly, it is better you ignore it and you should never spy on her phone again, because you have shown that, you are not man enough to confront whatever you might mistakenly find during your spying escapades and by the way, it is not good for a guy to spy on his wife. |
Oga, firstly congrats....Abeg make you answer this question wey people dey ask as man wan know too Abi you still dey honey moon?....How much those mopol/police cost you? Man wan know on average how he go settle oga DPO to get that kind team behind am...There should be a secret going price for those in know, Man wan organize that level. |
She is young and not ready to settle down yet. She also want to pursue her dream but don't want to lose you, hence the bait and switch tactics on her part. The girl wise well well oh! but OP you sure say she never eat the forbidden fruit? As in the fruit that giveth wisdom and opens eyes? Abeg check well, someone is gingering her kini. Bottom line, she need the introduction as a rain check or a fall back plan in case, she did not find someone better than you abroad. LBS school is a reputable business school and one of best in Africa, unless she is going to IVY league business college abroad. Most 22 years don't survive distant relationship not to talk of when they are not married. I do not have a crystal ball, but I can tell you categorically that, if you do the introduction and she leaves, you guys will never marry, she will find a new bf abroad and eventually marry or you will hear of her escapades and jump ships or you will dump her first for another warm and ever present cozy bosom in Nigeria. One difference between men and women, when it comes to marriage is, if men are ready they quickly go through the available menu, make their choice, do the marriage; then chalk if off on their todo list and they move on to the next task on their list...with women, when they are ready and come to that task, they can afford to wait, then wait, and wait, wait, wait or even put that task in the 'ready-waiting' status and go to do other things. My point is, since you want to get marry and feels that you are ready, she knows that, if she leaves, she will lose you forever period! If she is willing to wait for introduction, she can also wait for the marriage. If she gets an admission, she can defer it for a semester (not even a year) or more. She have a plan, and she is not letting you in on it, plus she is not following you wholly with her heart, she is also using wisdom and trying to manipulate you into doing her biding, despite knowing your stands on it. My fear is, if she dey use konny for you now, when u na never marry and not wanting to address your concerns or try to reach a consensor, what do you think she will do, if you guys eventually got married? |

phantonce:If you had read carefully, you would have noted that, the source of the money is Nigerians abroad. The last time I checked, the victims of yahoo yahoo abroad that sends money to Nigeria are not Nigerians, neither are the owners of fiverr, elance, clickbank, etc that remit money to freelancers; and foreign investments are not included. |
