emmykk:She has her own plate of food in front of her, she left it and proceed to go eat from OP friend's plate of food uninvited and you think, there is nothing wrong with that? All these, including the bathroom incident only happened when her daughter is away at work. If she didn't have a motive, why not eat from the Son inlaw's plate in the presence of her daughter, let's see how 'nothing' will not be wrong with that. |
salsera:I think SIL = Son in-Inlaw, which is the lady's husband (which is SIL to the lady's mom) Essentially, the lady caught her mom and her husband in bed and they have been doing it for a long time. |
She cannot show up for work just to collect salary without working for the pay...as you have articulated, her salary comes from those very tasks, she neglected to take care of, even God will not be happy. As someone have indicated, you can hire more hands, then reduce their hours. e.g. instead of two people working 8hrs, you can hire 4 people to work 4hrs each. Tell the additional two people it is just for a month... This way, the girl can have more time to devout to her fasting and prayers and your business will not suffer on the other hand. |
nollywoodbabe:It is not a tragedy, this is purely a self-infected pain because she lacks common sense and "locating her to give her a little something to encourage her" will not help the situation. This is one the stepping stones in her path to a better tomorrow, let the process refine her. Sometimes, pains and tears can be a blessing, they help to refine us and makes us better. |
Did he give her a ring? Did she reject the ring? Or how did he proposed? If you want it, put a ring on it and if she did not collect the ring, then you know, she did not want it. Talk is cheap, so is 'I will marry you', put some actions behind your words. |
A case can also be made for..... "Nigerian Ladies & 'Take me to a fancy Resturant ' Syndrome?" Guys are learning fast hence, they are changing strategy, don't blame them, blame your friend Nkechi, they did not see Nkechi again after spending heavily on her at the last fancy Resturant. Nkechi moved on with her 'take me to a fancy Resturant Syndrome' in a bid to catch another mogu, leaving this guy no option than to perfect his strategy that, the road to the Resturant for the next date must pass through his house, at least if the you moved on like Nkechi, both of you will have some memories to cherish. Alternatively, drop the 'take me to a fancy resturant syndrome' you guys can go to the park for a walk or the garden to talk and get to know each other, i.e. If what you really want is a romantic date or to be wooed. After all, the last time I checked, Romeo & Juliet were still a model of romantic ecstasies and they didn't visit any fancy resturant, they met mostly in the wood, which is the equivalent of the park or garden in 9ja. |
If you are a guy and touched your joystick to make sure, it is still there when you saw those pictures, click 'like'; if you did not touch your joystick, click 'share'. If you click 'share' you are gay..... O boy! girls can dey wicked oh and they say she is her girlfriend? I do not believe the rape story....it is more like premeditated, the guy have done something, like cheating and the lady want to teach him a 'lesson'...you are boy/girlfriends, why not just cut him loose or dump him? Look as a singular action have total short-circuit this guy's generation and descendants. |
uplawal:So, you acknowledge that, this guy might be arrested but after the investigation, he get to go free? Do you know want an arrest entails in 9ja? He will be the first suspect, since the three year old is too young to understand what is going on and to name names. He will sleep in ceil for days while he plead his innocence and could be tortured to 'extract the truth from him', he will miss work and depending on his job situation, he could be fired for missing work. The public would have passed their judgement on him by the mere fact that no one else has come out to take the blame. As a parent, if a grown man work to me and tell me that, my three year daughter touch his 'thing', I will call the COPs and throw his ass in jail until he tells me the truth. No parent will believe that, their three year old is been molested, even when faced with the facts, my natural insights is to deny it immediately, with time I might accept the fact but not immediately, meanwhile the OP will be the one to suffer the consequences. All these is naturally insight on my part to protect my daughter and hide from the truth and I will be oblivious of the suffering of the OP behind bar, in fact I will want the officers to deal with him more until he confesses. Yes, at the end of the day, when he has proven himself to be innocent or the actual person is caught, I will eat humble pie and come and apologize for not believing him in the first place. I read some of your other post and it appear you are a social worker or know one or two things about social workers....if you are given a case where a three year touched the "thing" of an adult and the only person that reported it is the adult, are you going to thank the adult and let him go his merry way? What if, he is the one that did it and is just reporting it to cover his tracks, the investigation must start from him, the authorities must satisfy themselves that he is not the one molesting the kid and as a social worker that is what you will do. You will open a file in this guy's name and if it is in the U.S. Context even if he is found as clean as a whistle, he will not go free...he is the adult in the room and by his actions, behaviors or whatever, he placed himselve in a position for the little girl to reach out and touch his "thing", believe me, no one is going to blame that little girl or ascribe any wrong doing to her, all the focus will be on the adult in the room. You are looking at this, heavily from a social worker's standpoint, which is good and commendable; also be realistic and tell this guy the truth, let him know, that as per the protocols, he is the first suspect and that he will be thoroughly investigated and that, as a social worker you are concern about how he presented or placed himself to have allowed the girl to even touch his thing in the first place...tell him that the protocols requires investigating that circumstance also and to determine if he is partly at fault or not. Also, let him know that, you will be a staunch advocate for the little girl and will be representing her to the fullness and by law, you cannot represent him or give him legal advise but will take his report into consideration....at the end of the day, all the investigations might just be for nothing and the incident might just be the curiosity of a growing little child and the only investigation left is the conduct of the OP and how as an adult who would have known better will allow a three year old touch his thing. If the OP truly want to help this kid and get some level of protection for himself at the same time, I think he has to spend some money. Call a lawyer, narrate the story to him/her, let the lawyer call the Police not even the parents. Then, the Police can talk to the parent and take the investigation from there. I doubt if you will spend lots of money with the lawyer on that. This does not mean, that the OP is in the clear, he will still be looked at as a suspect, but will have some level of protection. Your lawyer can also discuss with you on your complacency in the touching incident, then will advise you against future occurrence and might provide you with a soft-landing on that front with the police. |
I know lots of people have advised you to report the little girl to her parent, in case someone might be molesting her. As much as that action is good to protect the little girls, you should also be wise and protect yourself. Note, that you will be the first suspect to be instigated or the suspicious on molestation will be cast upon. So, make sure you are ready to go through the motion of pleading your innocent. Generally I will not like to put myself in a position where the other individual in the dispute is a minor, they cannot clearly express themselves and nothing you say can lessen the aural of suspicious around you. You know how the police will investigate the person that came to them to report a thieft, the same will be applicable. Plus, if you are in the U.S. And are even completely innocent, you can be successfully prosecuted and jailed just by your confession for 'contributing to the delinquency of a minor' and the reasoning would be that, the fact that she was able to touch your joystick, it means you were so dressed in such a way to made such access possible there is no way the little girl will touch them, no one will attribute negativity to the little girl, everything will zero on the fact that, you expose her to the situation by dressing loosely or something. She is not your daughter, so you do not have the right to beat or punish her....cutting her loose unfortunately is your best option considering her age. |
OP talk true make devil shame.... You have a picture of two different types of watches, the colors are different, the boxes are different and even inside packaging are different. Your girlfriend dash you two watches for your birthday? If this was the case, you would have mentioned it, but it would have still be odd. I do not know if you are advertising the watches, abi you dey show us pictures from one of your window shopping escapees. By the way, on the first watch with white inside packaging, is that 'GOODHANDS Honor accmpaniments' written on the box? what is 'accmpaniments'? and the inside packaging indicate the watch is 'GUESS'? O boy, you sure say no bi chikos bi dis? |
kestolove95:Saraki is from where again? Since Saraki, a Yoruba man emerged the Senate President, it is a foregone conclusion that the HOR will not go to another Yoruba ma, so PDP were outsmarted and checkmate. They would have supported another APC candidate from the North, when they saw the Senate Election going to the Easter Region. Before now, they had chose someone from the North for Senate President and another from the West for HOR, when the Senate elected a Westerner instead, they would have compensated and present a candidate from the North, but been armatures, they stuck to their original plans, not knowing that, politics is dynamic and there are no permanent friends or permanent enemies, just permanent interests. I just hope they learn from all these. And, they have a bigger problem on their hands, been that the APC reps and Senators are not originally from APC but from different parties, groups and interests, they will all bring their diverse interest to every bill and APC will not be able to presented a united front in terms of votes, eg but PDP will always count on their 49 senators to vote in line, there checkmating some APC agendas. |
APC is becoming a disgrace. You are in the majority and cannot elect your candidate to lead you? It is now true that APC is a house divided against itself, as we all know, it is made up various groups from different parties and PDP, so it is obvious that it will be difficult to rally around a common goal. This a taste of what is to come, I see the 49 PDP members rallying around each bill but there will be division within APC for contagious bills making it very difficult for them to use their majority to affect things. How dull can you be? The Senate inauguration was scheduled for 10:00am and you fools waited for PMB till 10:50am? You think the inauguration activities will be suspended while they wait for you guys to come back? Are they armatures? Don't they know that immediately after inauguration, the members have to elect their leaders? |
Bishop4bella:Not true, Asset declaration to CCB is constitutional and mandentory before any elected public officer can legally function as elected....I didn't the rule, it is in the constitution and every single past elected President and VP has done that, without it any law they sign or anything they do is illegal, hence they are mandated to do it within 30 days. |
akashi01:I think, the general himself will disagree with you on that. That is what he ran upon, that were his own words, he is a responsible man. All responsible men expects their words and promises to mean something and they actually wants and expects to be held accountable for their words. You are not doing anyone, including PMB a favor here. If Nigerians wanted the statuesque, they would not have gone out en masse to voted forchange, don't call them stupid. |
bamidele029:Sometime tells me that, you are more intelligent than your comment is letting out to be. And that, you clearly saw the intellectual dishonesty in that useless explainations. The constitution of Nigeria, chaper VI, section 142, makes it is binding requirement for all elected Presidents to declare their assets to CCB upon assumption of office and further states that, they cannot perform the duties of that office, until it is done. Are you saying PMB was been dishonesty when he said, he will publicly declare his assets, when what he actually intend to do was the bear minimum and binding requirements of the law, without which cannot legally carry out his duties as President? The very same act that, every single elected President and Vice has done before him without promise and fanfare? I truly believe, PMB will publicly declare his assets, it is just too early, he did that without prompting before running, so knows what it means by publicly declaring one asset, because he has done that before. |
Woman wrapper, wetin you dey find inside woman purse? Busy body, go find real work, curiosity kills the cat. I don't care if she is your mom or not, park well make she see road. |
jeron1:Why don't you see it from his safety angle as he has pleaded? The real Yusuf Buhari, will have lots of guard and protection at his disposal where ever he goes and this guy will not. And people with bad belly for the President who things they have a score to settle might target this defenseless guy, thinking he is their actual target...what about people wanting to make a quick buck or two, they might kidnap him. So, as long as this guy is not sleeping with high fired fences surrounding him and moving about with thick security protection, he is a game until he totally dissociates himself and not because he does not like not Yusuf or wishes anything bad happening to him, it is just for his own protection and safety. If you ask me, the guy is wise and he is doing the right thing. |
Dekatron:I think, you are not connecting some dots here, his parents are highly educated and are in a better position to know if he is delusional or not and if the illment is medical or otherwise....their western education and vintage position of having lived with him concludes that, it is spiritual, hence they didn't take him to see the Doctor and you blamed the brother for not doing that? The parent choose to go about it spiritually, one is even curious how the mother be an Evangelist, will choose herbalist. There is no mention of the parents taking to church for prayers after they inferred that, it is spiritual. |
I will have to take the side of the boy here, he is 21 and have the right to chose where to live or not to live. Let him be, the mother is an Evangelist and arrested and locked up his own son (the boy's half brother for kidnapping)? Sometime is wrong with that picture. If an adult said, he/she was sick before and now healthy, who is me to disbelief him. It is cruel for some to suggest that, he is hallucinating, you are not there, what he said are plausible and as such, he should be given the benefit of a doubt until proven otherwise. Even if, the allegation about his parent using him is wrong, it appear there was a problem and the parent too him to see native doctors, and now the same individual is saying that, after visiting the prophetess and prayers made, he is now ok, who are mine to say, he is not telling the truth.....meanwhile, the parent did not denied that, there is a problem, but told the visiting journalist some things, they do not wanted printed, which confirms that all is not well. The parent should withdrawn the police case and settle this outside the legal system. |
FTC, am coming right back, let me google the answer first. |
BK have finally relocated from Sambisa forest into Abuja to celebrate their hard fought victory.... next step is a handsome reward and monthly hush-hush remuneration from the government's confer for life. Sha! Nigeria don enter one chance! ![]() |
LuvSwollenPussy:O boy, going by your grammatical prowess, it is obvious who is clueless and it's funny that, you only got clueless right. Your boss is clueless and you still answer him "yes sir, yes sirr/ma" as he /she is still in the position of authority over you, what does that make you, Mr. epitome of wisdom? After this tirade you will still be beholden to that your 'clueless' boss as he/she once again and as usual, signs your next pay check, so that you Mr. WiseOne can continue to eke out a living. |

seunmsg:I have made other comments about an extra diction hearing that he has to face and the fact that a Nigeria Judge have to hold a limited scope hearing about him getting a fair trial, plus if the punishment he faced are sanctionable within the Nigeria context. Also, note that the executive branch have every right to monitor the movement of someone who they believe is a flight risk until they can obtain an arrest warrant. It appear that is what NDLEA is doing in this case. I have read many news reporting on this and all of them indicates that, he is the one that locked himself inside his bedroom and refused to leave. The extradition case in UK that he prevailed upon, was not evidentiary nor did it look into the merit of the allegations against him. The UK judged ruled in his favor then, because the U.S. sealed identifying information from the court, the dynamics of the extradition this time around could be different. I heard he refused to go to court in Nigeria to hear the extradition case against him. He should attend the extra diction hearing in Nigeria and present his case. |
sweetgala:Are you sure they have an arrest warrant? The article said, they have a "provisional" arrest warrant. The word "provisional" indicates that, they are still waiting for the real arrest warrant. You can't be holding an arrest warrant and doing a maiguard at the front door or gate of the suspect, you go in straight to take him into custody, breaking down every barracades in the process. Else NDLEA would have broken down the gates, doors, walls and throw his behind into jail. |
83lagosroad:Extradiction orders are not letters, they are valid orders from the court of the originating country and yes, if two countries have an extradiction treaty signed and passed into law by both country's legislatives, that order is as good as having been issued by a judge in the destination country. The US and Nigeria signed an extradiction treaty, that treaty was ratified and passed into law by the Nigeria Senate and it has the same force of law as any other bill or law passed by the Nigeria Senate and NDLEA is bounded to carry out that order. Only that, they have to arrest him, take him to a court in Nigeria for extradiction hearing. Such hearings have a limited scope, it is not evidentiary, which means you cannot plead your case there...they will look up want he is being charged with, compare it to see if such charges are also illegal in Nigeria, some countries with lots of influences also ensure that, their treaty also provides that intended punishment shall not be such that are illegal in their home countries....eg if the punishment for his crime is the death penalty and hypothetically Nigeria does not support the death penalty, the extradiction judge will refuse to allow him to be extradited until the other country agree not to seek the death penalty, the judge also look to make such that, none of his rights will be violated,etc...after which he will be handed over. |
hedonistic:Nigeria is a signatory to the treaty agreement with the US and the executive branche of government is bonded to obey that extradiction request, but there have to be an extradiction hearing for him in Nigeria, but the Nigeria judiciary does not have the authority to prevent the Nigeria executive branch from carrying out that extradiction unles during the extradiction hearing, the judiciary come to determine that, his rights will be violated if extradited. The judge that issue that order is in the wrong here. My guess is, NDLEA does not have an arrest warrant from a Judge yet, hence they have not broken down the barracades to taken him into custody. And they have every right to keep within close distant of the suspect until they obtain that warrant, especially if there is reasonable beliefs that, the suspect will be a flight risk. |
pocohantas:I do not know why people think that BVN is even that secure and will somehow prevent thieves. Necessity is the mother of invention, they will simply re-innovate and continue what they have been doing. Yes, BVN not withstanding, the GTB phone transfer are is very risky. This will just allow thieves to milk more victims....take a case, where someone is held against their will and their ATM card taken and forced to divulge their PIN...and the thieves holds them until they bleed their account to red....If the account is red, all the thief need not hold another victim against their will...target GTB account holders, snatch their phone and ATM card, transfer money to your previous victim's account and continue milking the funds out of that account. Now, before this GTB none-sense, they would have released their victim after their account reached red....but with this, they can hold out hopes for additional exploits without leaving a trace, BVN or no BVN. And the BVN thing, gives people a false sense of security, people can disfigure their fingerprint, google 'change my fingerprint' you will be surprise that, you can order a kit for that, then disguise do a facelift, approach any bank, do your registration and BVN with your new identity....approach multiple banks with different identities and fingerprints and open multiple accounts and the yahoo yahoo guys are back in business as usual. |
abbey621:Great that, we are finding common grounds here...i think, we are making the same point...as might have noticed, I used the word 'medicinal' when referring to the chemicals in weed. Yes, it contain naturally occurring THC and as you have indicated, if not taken in moderation leads to problems. Also note that, synthesized THC is the active ingredient in many western medicines we take today for nausea, vomiting especially for people undergoing cancer treatments and it's synthesized form is also used to medically increase appetite in patients who find it difficult to eat. THC also protects the brain and stimulates growth. A chemical like THC (called Anandamide) is also found in our body, it helps regulate our mood, sleep, memory and appetite. That is why, despite the fact that the U.S. government ban on weeds, the FDA has approved many of drugs containing THC, which are then administer to people to supplement the Anandamide deficiency in order to continue those bodily functions, we have come to take for granted. Hence, when weeds or some these western medicines that contain THC are abused, they lead to terrible consequences, but that in itself does mean that THC is bad, but that taking it in excess just like any other thing is bad. |
abbey621:Got your point, but the chemical components of cocaine are toxin to the body, it is akin to killing oneself that the bible admonishes against, but the chemical content of weed are medicinal to the body. Disclaimer: I don't smoke, not even cigarettes. |
15 minutes is a new record for him holding a conversation, I just pray and hope he is capable to should the many responsibilities of this country. During the campaign, I had never seen him spoke for more than fifteen minutes. I was disappointed, because I was eager to hear his solutions and articulation of fixes to some of the problems we are currently facing in this country. I pray he surrounds himself with selfless and capable technocrats and professional who have the interest of this country at heart. And, he doesn't not have to solve all or tens of our problem, focus on just two or three issues and solve them real good and the top three on my list are: 1. Corruption 2. Security 3. Infrastructure & Electricity These three will provide the enabling environment for growth to spring up. Despite the high unemployement in Nigeria, creating jobs should not be his focus, government donot create sustainable. They should provide the enabling environment and fellow Nigerians will create those jobs. There will be influx of foreign investments and firms because Nigeria as an emerging market is a magnet. |
byrron:And what made you think cannibalism is a sin? Yes, it is immoral, disgusting, repulsive, etc...but as long as you did not kill or cause the death of that individual, strictly looking at it with a full knowledge of the Bible that says the man without the soul is nothing, it is not sin. In essence, from the scriptures; there is no aota of difference between a dead human being and a dead animal, they are both compose of the same chemical compounds. In built in mammals is the instincts not to naturally eat their dead kinds...dogs, lions, tigers, hyenas, etc and off course humans react to this same instincts and as such humans are not exceptional when they behave this way. And just like dogs, lions, tigers or hyenas have killed or eaten their kinds in times of famine or scarcity of food, humans in similar desperate situation through tout history have done likewise, more proof, that we are not exceptional when it comes to this instinct. |
