BusinessRe: 4 Online Business That Are Profitable In Nigeria For Beginners by Linzo(m): 7:42pm On Jul 29, 2018
Noblepreneur:
Affiliate Marketing is quite profitable.

What most people are yet to realise is that having a Digital Marketing Skill is a great advantage when working online.

Most Nigerians feel that those who work online are into Yahoo or something like that but it is because they are myopic and not ready to be informed.

Most of my earnings come from online Businesses and I kid you not ,I have never been involved in any fraud or deceit.

Seek for knowledge, get informed, network with those who are informed.

I end with this quote:

If you follow 4 Billionaires, you would become the 5th Billionaire... Selah
This is one of the OPs moniker he uses to deceive unsuspecting victims into believing his CRAP and worthless eBook!!!! Rubbi!!!!!!!!!sh

Jobs/VacanciesThe 8 Most Annoying Mistakes In Your CV by Linzo(op): 12:29pm On Jul 23, 2018
A woman who has reviewed more than 40,000 résumés outlines the 8 most annoying mistakes she sees

Résumés are a crucial part of any job search.
• If you want to land your dream job, you'll need to whip your résumé into shape.
• Résumé Writers' Ink founder Tina Nicolai shared some tips on how to go about doing that with

Résumés are important
No one knows that better than Tina Nicolai. She estimated that she has read more than 40,000 résumés since launching Résumé Writers' Ink in 2010.
That's a lot of CVs. Over the years, Nicolai says, certain annoying mistakes tend to come up quite a lot.
Some of these errors may not seem like a huge deal. In a competitive job market, though, they might be the difference from snagging your dream job and having your résumé thrown in the garbage.
Here are Nicolai's picks for the most annoying mistakes you can make on a résumé:

1. Sloppiness

"The biggest mistake job seekers make: They are sloppy. They pay poor attention to detail. They are lazy!"
Nicolai said she has seen too many résumés with typos, unprofessional fonts, outdated information, and irrelevant information.

2. Summaries that are too long

Summaries are annoying when they are written in a formal tone and include too many adjectives, she said.
"After a while, the summaries can read like a lengthy chapter in a book," Nicolai told Business Insider. "It's better to list a few bullets with pointed achievements and a branded tagline stating, 'Known for achieving XYZ.'"

3. Too many buzzwords

Résumé jargon such as "out of the box," "team player," and "exceptional communicator" are "baseline expectations in today's market," Nicolai said. "A person who truly is a 'unique problem solver who works well in teams' will convey this succinctly and creatively on their résumé through a combination of few words and imagery."

4. Starting a bullet point with 'Responsible for'

This is another "lazy thing" she has seen too many times on résumés.
"Candidates need to understand that starting a sentence with 'responsible for' tells the reader what the job requirements were supposed to be, but it does not state that the candidate actually performed the functions," Nicolai said. "It does not state that the candidate was successful in these functions. Don't be lazy: Take the extra few minutes to explain what you accomplished — not what you were expected to accomplish."

5. Being too formal

Finally, she said she finds overly formal résumés annoying because they're not engaging and don't allow the reader to get a good sense of the applicant's personality.

6. Sticking to a template

Nicolai says too many people rely on résumé templates, which are readily found online.
"Templates are designed as a guide and not intended to be used as a cookie cutter," she told Business Insider. "Think of a template as a suit. A person wears a suit and adapts to his or her personal style. A résumé template is a framework to showcase your personal brand and most importantly your achievements."

7. Using awkward white space

"More often than not, candidates use too much or too little 'white space,'" she said. "Cramming too many words on one page with tiny margins and small font is annoying. And, on the reverse, having oceans of 'white space' with words justified to one side or the other of the resume is equally annoying."

8. Taking up too much space with your contact information

You should not be using four lines to list your name, address, email, and phone number.
"Save face by removing the address and condensing your name, phone number, and email to one line," Nicolai said. "Using your resume real estate (lines) is valuable and should be used for related achievements.

Not really true.
Somebody applied for Study Permit in April 2018, he was refused in May 2018 and re-applied in on the 7th July, 2018. He was charged for another $85 biometric fee.
If something like that happened then it means the person did not use his/her previous account to reapply. You only do biometric ones in 10 years. If you're previously denied visa when reapplying use same account and apply then you will not be charge for biometric. I don't why you're arguing what you have little or no knowledge about

EducationRe: Conversion Of HND To Bsc by Linzo(m):
Visman:
i am an HND holder and presently working as a teller in one of the commercial banks, brothers, what i am facing as a teller is not what i would wish my enemy, discrimination of the highest order,as an hnd holder, you are pegged on the same salary as ond holder, and you have no choice but to feel inferior to your Bsc graduate colleagues whose monthly salary is 5times what you earn, and who has a career path.Recently,a friend of mine told me about a university;Salem university lokoja to be precise where hnd can be converted to bsc,a 2yrs programme of 6semeters,please brothers if this is true,i will be very much interested and if there are any other university where hnd can b converted to bsc kindly intimate me and how the programme is being run, thank you..
My little piece, do not go to two years university B.sc program been offer in some private university if you actually want to progress in your career, it a rule in Nigeria academic system that for any one to be awarded a B.sc he or she must study for at least 3 academic sessions or full-time 6 semesters. Have you seen anybody that top up the 2 year B.sc in Salem university that ever progress in career wise even in your bank? No!!
Please note this, with the 2 years top up program you cannot use it for master program both in Nigeria and abroad. My advice get DE and be admitted into 200level. Also note this! No public university in Nigeria admit students into 300 level for 4yrs course. For 5yrs course you will be admitted into 300 level and 200_level for 4yrs course with your HND.

@Yomicee, there’s no bank in Nigeria that will give that rate (230/CAD).

The fastest way to make your tuition payment is through the bank. Just go to your bank and request for a form A to pay your tuition. The rate should be between 280-290/CAD.
