codemaniacs:True. I find that Nigerians seem to believe that Nigeria is tough and hash but I find Nigerians to be quite entitled and Nigeria authorities altogether too soft. You can’t have third world government, with third world institutions then demand first world human-rights and privileges or you destroy everything because you believe it is your right since Liberal democratic principles, articulated by privileged intellectuals in foreign lands, argued that citizens have a right to disrupt the state that does not provide security, equality, liberty and property under the liberal democratic dispensation. |
I haven’t taken any of this, “Buhari begged Africon to come to Nigeria “stuff seriously. This is largely since it all sounds improbable that Buhari would, so I never read any of the articles. It all still sounds improbable now and I haven’t read the following up article OP just posted. However the title, ‘US Won’t Relocate Africa Command To Nigeria’ set off my Trickery Reorganising Alarm bells. The thing that I recognised was the trickery implicit in the title. I suddenly understood what this may all be about. The thing is this: Nigeria has always opposed Africon being set up in Africa let alone West Africa. Much of the black world is opposed too and, indeed, its colonial and paternalistic nature is hot topic among pan-Africanist that also view Africon as another tool of Western destabilisation. Ghana is the Pan Africanists and African American poster boy, even though Ghana is in reality far from what they believe it is or more accurately what they want it to be and are trying to create through force of their own needs and beliefs. What Ghana actually does is play lip service to black issues while actually working with the West against Nigeria in furtherance of Ghana. In return the West allows Ghana president space to mouth and act the black radicalists on the world stage. Anyway what the title of the article, ‘US Won’t Relocate Africa Command To Nigeria’ suggested to me is that plans have probably long been afoot to establish Africon or a larger version of it in Ghana. Lying that Buhari was begging for Africon to be established in Nigeria, removes any ability for Nigeria to critic Africon being set up in Ghana or another West African country. Nigeria never could really prevent America, Nigeria could only really try by appealing to public sentiment, especially that of the Nigeria masses. A moral victory in the eyes of the wider black world is publicity Africon wouldn’t want Africans are sneaky and Nigerians being upfront and direct people don’t recognise this enough. |
Due to relative costs, small bridges offer opportunity for imagination and flair. There is much can be done with the small bridge that provides uplifting beauty to the community in addition to the practicality of its purpose. Solid aesthetic designs are common and available. Very possible, not just Ambizonians but even islamists, this is why those that are genuinely Igbo and are the type sympathetic to apparent local militants need to be cautious of lending support |
Only one bridge, the other was a crude plank across a golly. Using the peoples money to build a needed bridge for the people, instead of financing car, is her job. The bridge she commissioned wasn’t any good, we can do better. I may have misunderstood it all; if so, then apologies. |
Nigeria is underestimating the influence of Social Media on her various security issues. Nigeria will go a long way in containing NE insecurities by controlling the borders and to lesser extent Social Media and a long way in containing those in Southern Nigeria by controlling Social Media and to lesser extent borders. Social Media should be easer for Nigeria to control by finding out the ID’s of the most ardent supporters and encouragers of conflict. |
fawaz22:Good news full Nigeria but is not politically correct on Niaraland. |

Daveambition:Stop moaning like a woman, blash, blash - see your typing fingers like “not recognised like a sane human!” Does an average Ghanaian or African even know what sane humans look like? Togo,Cameron,Ghana,Benin Republic -see the mixed bag of deplorable nations you’re mentioning without even a hint of derisive laughter! ![]() You should even be worried if A Ghanaian recognises you as a sane humanbeings since it mean he or she considers that you resemble them (they consider themselves sane human-beings) yet the average Ghanaian looks like a sun-scorched ape with yellowing eyes. |
It is an oversight by State Governors not to invest in police deployed locally because they are Federal police. Due to this rising militant criminality, Anambra state could loose significantly more long-term than it would lose short term by suspending current projects in favour of modernising police infrastructure throughout the state as an emergency call. |
dgang:The next mineral resources rush will be in space. And with the current state of rocket technology - some companies are even printing them - you're looking at perhaps as little as in ten years. Third world countries like Nigeria needn’t miss out. It is counter intuitive therefore many don’t realise that third world nations are best suited to adapting advanced technology since infrastructurally we are not established. Third world nations are able to leapfrog many developmental stages instead of - as is mistakenly held at a subconscious level - that we need to first go through the stages many of the leading nations pioneered and left behind. |
Asgard73:How long will people like you continue to fool Nigerians by resorting to Yoruba, Igbo and Fulani to blind Nigerians from recognising that they, we, have a collective problem that require everyone work together to resolve ? Afunja this, ESN that, headmen another -its all getting boring!! Its beginning to seem as if Nigerians resort to tribalism as a crutch for being unable or reluctant to do anything. Very lazy… |
Is the state governor and cabinet members not indigens? Aren’t Nigerians from this state supposedly the brightest minds in the country? How is it, criminals can mount attacks against an institution as important and crucial as the police, again and again and again and again and still record success - not even occasionally but every time! And, incredulously, so called Unknown gunmen, utilise same known tactics!!!! |
State government and police hierarchy failure! After past attacks on police stations leading to causalities, lessons should have been learned and mitigating measures taken. At this point, no further attacks on police stations should be successful. These police deaths are unacceptable and responsible public, civil society and all mentally sane stockholders need to demand resignations and State accountability of some sort. |
Daily Trust gathered reliably that the release of the students was delayed even after payment of ransom last month because the bandits insisted on the release of one of their own arrested by the police.Wonder if it’s possible to microchip humans. Trailblazer1:Nigerians need to learn to be suspicious of obvious conclusions. For instance, if a known weakling one day challenges you to fight in some shady neighbourhood don’t just conclude that he did so because he is stupid. |
DubaiLandLord1:I suspect Nigeria soldiers don’t flee in situations like this out of cowardliness or lack of commitment to soldering for Nigeria but because fleeing is the only option they left for themselves due to poor planning and danger anticipation. The key to sustaining a battle situation lies in adopting the right approach at the outset. It seems to me this is the difference between Nigerian solders apparent cowardliness and say the British, French or American soldiers successes in similar situations. |
He is now in danger of loosing his life since his disappearance thought enemies of Nigeria that the Federal Government would be blamed for whatever happens to him. |
providencia:Ha, ha, ha, cough, cough, ha,ha, he, he..put France and Europe in thire place, nuclear and economic giant Ghana... I've heard it said short guys love big cars -a sort of compensation for small balls and I guess massive delusions play same role for Ghanaians.... |
Armanipounds:It's a diversionary and divisionary ploy by a set of people that don't know that they are fooling themselves. |
He needs to hold a conference in order to inform the country or answer questions on his supposed disappearance. |
Emotionss:What of IPOB kidnapping Mbaka, with Mbaka’s complicity, in the expectation people like you would blame FG? Problem with your line of thinking is it leads to endless conspiracy buck-passing. Hard evidence is always best…. |

Seniorwriter:Whether one places horse before or after the cart, horse go still fit move am, so I’m not going to use the analogy; but, o-boy, don’t you think people should first make use of what is lawfully on the ground instead of first using the ground unlawfully and expecting or complaining that govt didn’t make using the ground lawful and aught to promptly do so instead of addressing the braking of said law by enforcing the law? If it all sounds confusing blame it on your confusing concept ![]() |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRoIY3LYvTc Hoh boy, this woman’s tears. She wept. I too wept. She works hard in her role as a positive force, existing in poverty in order to send her only son to school, believing the sacrifice would be worth it when the boy qualifies in future. When that day arrives, he would help her, himself and his own family. Then along comes gangs of lazy bums, in their role as negative forces, unable to work hard like the woman and the majority of people throughout the realm. They kidnap students, her son among them, and since have killed several in retaliation for the state government’s refusal to act as their employers, awarding them salary for a job no one asked them to do. Lazy scumbags! ![]() Lazy and dumb humans are the bane of the world. |
ogwumgbe:Stuff their forgiving, what cheek. For your info, Ghanaians have always suffered from this Coonish Django Stephen need to please foreign audiences at the expense of Nigerians knowing that Nigerians are too kind to bite back. I recall that Ghanaian fella, Wodemya, whom Nigerians so love - always picking on Nigeria, when he finds himself violated by various African immigration officials, during his travels. Instead of calling out the various African countries for the corrupt shitholes that they are, he’ll instead be shouting, ‘Nigeria stop giving West Africa bad names!’ He ones tried having a verbal go at South Africa and the South Africans gave him short shrift and he has not since dared. Anyway, like I stated at the outset, they've been long at it, forget all that Ghana must go excuses. Just listen to the silly Ghanaian girl here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=840XWjnt9wc |

I am an igbo but i don't see any reason to take a sly dig at any tribe for whatever reason, this tribal hatred is really getting out of hand!
