A prophet does not necessary have to say sweet things. He warns of dangers and judgment . He has spiritual authority. He also gives direction and instructions. When a prophet warns of dangers coming , he shouldn't be label as prophet of doom. He is not and exhorter. We must understand the ministry and office of The Prophet. When Elisha pronounce judgment on those hooligans youth was it an exhortation or comfort. We should not misuse one verse without understanding to judge ministry gift.
