faithugo64:If you know what is good for yourself, run like power bike and pay your fees oh. This government is nothing but set of jokers. Even the minister of education is working with target like bankers. The minister wll mount the podium tomorrow to declare generating additional billions of naira at the detriment of the masses and the same FG will applaud him with an award for extorting innocent Nigerians on account of Education... |

how will a country like this develop when our youth pay so much attention to news like this? so many free investment and transformation seminars.. you only see 6 to 8 comments and participation.. our colonies has turned to mockery and I weep for Nigeria |
it is easy to place the blame for hardship on the shoulders of leaders, especially if the leader is not the candidate chosen by all of us.. in the minds of their opposition, the leader turns into an enemy, their Mistakes turn into a premeditated attacks on comfort and safety of the masses, their human flaws turn into irreparable defects and their missteps turn into wicked conspiracies. we end up being divided in the line of opinion, and sadly, many of us refuse to see any good in those who disagree with us simply because their view and believes happened to be different from ours. CRITICISM in my opinion is a healthy tool in leadership. Criticism is that restraint that holds a leader from turning to a dictator. I urge that we be guided. |
Primusinterpares:hmn! This type of connection..

Just as God will take away everything that brings her joy overnight.. it's a simple logic. God said we should tell people like this, who seek joy in causing their fellow human grief and tribulations, that it shall not be well with them.. he promised that if they are better off in the morning and think life is good, he would transform everything that recon with joy in their lives to sorrow grief and agony |
foolishness.. |
is that so? |
hmmn.. the only standing man that remains unshakable of any political draught (IBB). YORUBA adage says 'aja t'oba leni leyin maa p'obo" meaning when a dog has a strong backing, it will kill a monkey despite it's smartness. IBB is just so exceptional in some ways.. his humbleness and simplicity strikes me.. I was privilege to be around him during his condolence visit to Senator Idris Kuta two weeks ago, it's surprising to me that a man of such caliber could be so friendly, humble and simple.. it was no doubt to me that nothing would happen to Kazim his boy |
Constituting a positive culture in our society is preparing a flowerbed for generations to plant on.. If we must have a hopeful and boastful future, we all have a great task on our sleeves both as a peace abiding citizen, as a social luminary, as individual and as a responsible government that care about the future of it's nation. It’s quite disheartening that we allowed our day to day experiences over rule our social responsibilities and humanitarian conformity as human, which consequently turned our World to a type which anger and frustration knows no limit, where violence and aggression rules.. Despite the perplexity, I still believe, not within the figment of my imagination, but with apparent fortitude, that somehow, there is a World waiting to be born. Our World awaits a rebirth and the only way to nurture this child to be born is by showing kindness, calmness, sincerity and gentleness as the case may be. In contrast, majority of us see gentleness and perceive weakness, on the phase of reality, we use phrases like “if you want to get on in life, get tough”, be ruthless.. and yet to have “ruth”means to have pity or compassion, to be without ruth, to be ruthless is to be heartless which is damaging to the society, damaging to souls and destructive to the World at large. On the contrary, When someone is assumed to be tough, we perceive strength and power. Sadly, we live on and on like that condoning violence and vices that kick against a positive human principles, using harsh words and tough actions, encouraging and teaching the upcoming generations the act of ruthlessness as claimed. A child will naturally stretch his or her self and others for learning and will mostly look up to an adult, look up to his parents, and look up to his teachers, such child will not learn by our beautiful phrasal expression alone, but also by examples.. A parent who talks tolerance but shows non will surely breed an intolerant child. A parent who preach charity but gives non is expected to raise a charitless child. Any parent who campaigns patience but exhibit aggression will definitely raise a violent child, and any individual who encourage communication and talk so much but fails to listen will raise a product who screams, shout and yell without communicating. Every child was born beautiful, pure, gentle and sensitive. Every act we noticed in a child is not a cruel act but an indication of his or her direct experience, development, sensitivity and growth around the parents and society as a whole. A child act only by example imposed on him or her by the society. Let’s be the changes and beauty we want the World to project, lets be conscious to look beyond our actions, rather concentrate our interest majourly on the consequences of what every impact we make actually connote. Children are the greatest asset, we owe them love, kindness and a well guided compassion for our flowerbeds to bringfort a beautiful, bountiful and sustainable harvest. For those interested in Olu Falae's
imbroglio!! . --- Adejare Ibrahim
Liberty Badmus The narrative: 10
Fulani herdsmen invaded Chief Falae's
farm. The farm is a 40-hectare palm
oil and cassava plantation. They
completely destroyed the farmland.
After destroying it, they set it ablaze.
The raging fire alerted and drew the
attention of security guards on the
farm. The herdsmen escaped before
being apprehended by the guards.
Questions: _ 40 hectares means 100
acres of land. How many 'minutes' did
it take the 10 herdsmen to destroy a
100-acre farmland of palm oil without
the guards being aware? Those who
comprehend the enormity of 100 acres
will understand this query. _ What did
the 10 herdsmen use to destroy the
100-acre farmland; bulldozers, AK-47,
hoes and cutlasses or barehand? _ How
did they know the farm was first
destroyed before it was set on fire?
After all, fire should have erased all
the traces of destruction. _ We all
know the structure of a palm oil
farmland; it takes hours before such
can be totally set ablaze. Where were
the guards within such hours? _ How
did the 10 herdsmen enter the
farmland without drawing the
attention of the guards? Where were
the guards at the time of invasion? _
Lastly, according to Ondo State Police
PRO, Femi Joseph, investigation is on
on the actual cause of the inferno, as
the cause of the fire can traced to
several sources. I have read many
news sources. All their explanations
were premised on conjecture. None of
the sources was able to substantiate
its claim that the farm was set ablaze
by any 'marauding Fulani herdsmen'.
If there's any, kindly share it here. ---
Adejare Ibrahim. Thanks for your post.
May I agree with you that to the
extent that evil deeds have taken over
our national life. However I won't fall
into the temptation of believing
stories that unsubstantiated. Permit
me to inform you that for upwards of
four years I was privileged to be
elected the chairman of Oba Ile
Residents Association. That's many
years back when herds invaded our
ESTATE on regular basis, defecated our
premises beyond reasonable
expectation and destroyed our farms
in and around the Estate. That led to
the extent of the Estate committee
investigations into the owner/s of the
herds. Alas with the assistance of the
police, we discovered that our revered
Chf Olu Falae owned MOST of the
herds and employed most of the fulani
herdsboys. Since then the serenity of
the Estate had been violated. At that
time Rtd Justice Kumuyi, Baba
Gbonigi, Gov Adefarati, S K Babalola
Prof Opeke, Hon Justice Daramola Ekiti
CJ et al too numerous to mention could
testify to this. Assuming without
conceding that the herdmen
perpetrated the despicable crime
attributed to them, think of the legal
maxim Volenti Non Fit Injuria. Let me
rest my case. as copied from a reliable source. |
a Yoruba adage says 'won ni koo jee, o sope eegun ni, won ni ki o sonu, o sope eran wa lara eh' meaning.. you were asked to eat it, you said no! it's bonny, OK dispose it naw, you said no again, because there are small small meat around it. when you seat up and convince yourself about what you really want, we shall be waiting to offer you some helpful advice. |

(My own mum? that I cherish so much?) if your brother's wife knows how much her husband cherish, value and adore his mother, she would know that disrespecting such treasure is a no go area and unacceptable. just assume it's your brother that indirectly inflicted the pains on your mother. |
