Bros, look at the political terrain in Nigeria. SW dictates who becomes the president in Nigeria.

Jonathan won in 2011 because SW did not vote their ACN candidate instead voting for Jona. Jonathan lost in 2015 because SW supported Buhari.

So it is not tribalism, it is fact. SW should take the most responsibility for landing us in this mess.

This is laudable. But we need sustainable improvement.

Not improvements that have the same stability as a 14-yr old girl having a bad day.

The last peak we recorded followed by drops for 4 consecutive months is still fresh on our minds.

PoliticsDebunking The Lie By BMSG That Nigeria Was Delisted From Corrupt Countries Index by LordAdam(op): 1:51pm On Feb 04, 2016
This is in reply to the lie propagated by a supposed Buhari Media Support Group that was referenced in this Nairaland thread -- https://www.nairaland.com/2912103/nigeria-delisted-corrupt-countries-index

And carried by this daily -- http://leadership.ng/news/497985/nigeria-delisted-corrupt-countries-index-bmsg

The group added that in the latest ranking of corrupt countries in the world over by TI, the name of Nigeria is conspicuously missing.
This is a blatant lie.

The Corruption Index put together by Transparency International is an annual ranking report to gauge the relative severity of corruption in 167 countries around the world.

The latest ranking report is the Transparency International Corruption Index 2015 and can be found here -- http://www.transparency.org/cpi2015#results-table

https://i1295.photobucket.com/albums/b636/LordAdam/Nigeria_Corruption_Index_2015_zpsnokvpjje.jpg

From the table, it is very clear that Nigeria occupies the 136th position out of 167 countries. A position the nation shares with Comoros and Tajikistan.

Nigeria also occupied the 136th position out of 167 countries in 2014 (http://www.transparency.org/cpi2014/results), showing that there was zero change in position recorded in the latest rankings.

This is very different from the lie fostered by the purported Buhari Media Support Group that Nigeria is missing from the corrupt countries index.

It should be said that the anti-corruption drive by President Buhari has been lauded in many quarters, despite the constructive criticisms. However, it is misleading and unpatriotic for any group to broker lies in the public domain for propaganda or to score cheap political points.

This is an epitome of the rule of law. Now if the trial is concluded and he is found guilty, he would be imprisoned and the money will be taken back by the government. Very simple.

I wonder why PMB, the EFCC, and APC zombies like to make simple matters complicated. We are in a democracy not a dictatorship. If you want execution before trial relocate to China and North Korea.

PoliticsRe: Wailing Wailers; Buharists And That Disgraceful 2016 Budget- Japhet Omojuwa by LordAdam: 12:19pm On Feb 04, 2016
Aspireahead:
Sir, if you dont speak out now the budget is being passed, you might as well remain mute till the year runs out. the budge is a key indicator, nay, the key indicator as regards how the country will be run in the next year...and there is no change in the budget presented(pun intended), and i bet Man Utd. win against Chelsea that the budget will be passed as presented to the senate
People are speaking out, but all I hear is noise. A well-meaning Nigerian has been analyzing the budget ministry by ministry in the Politics section and his threads have recorded very low visits. I have repeatedly tried to prove that PMB is not fit to be the president as regards the economy. I have been proven right. The question is what next.

We cannot have unstable personalities only point out problems, draft solutions, and shudder at the thought of fighting for the implementation. A lot of people have informally voiced support for the confab report. Why are we not pursuing it like the BBOG campaign? If we continue making noise that budget will be passed as it is in march, after all the majority in the N'Ass is APC. It is time for our wailing to be constructive. I am ahead of the curve. We should be enacting the solutions we are proffering not blowing hot fumes anonymously on a public forum.

Let the wailing continue, but we must now do our best to be constructive. We have wasted one month in this year, this month and the next will be wasted. That is 25% of the year wasted. That is 25% of our budget that will not see the light of day. We can see the handwriting on the wall, we should act now or seal our fate for 2016. We have only 2016 and 2017 to do anything tangible. 2018 will be the year of preparation for elections, 2019 is off the table completely.

Thank you for your comment Lord Adam. It's not about making a U-turn. Never really supported Buhari. It's about pointing the government in the right direction.

Thanks again for your sensible comment. sensible as in you disagree with the write-up but without insulting the writer smiley
I applaud the fact that a lot of neutral people and even those who voted APC in the last elections are calling the PMB administration to check. It is necessary.

The fact is that the precedence of calling a president clueless, ineffectual baboon, dullard, even when rightly deserved early on in the presidency is not wholly fair. As a pro-GEJ supporter, the election times were rough because there were a lot of unsubstantiated allegations against the GEJ administration (now turning to be false) that were peddled because things appeared bad.

Nigerians now know APC is a fraud, that PMB was a mistake. Thank heavens we have discovered it early enough. The question now is should we let things remain this way until 2019? That is a long time to wait. Our criticisms should be constructive, not one-sided, and be vocal enough to force the change we seek.

I have called PMB a senile dullard before, so I am not trying to be an hypocrite. I did it then to prove to people that all is not what it seems. PMB is no messiah and APC is not a party of saints. Now, I have been proven right. The next thing is how to do our best to make sure things do not fall out of hand too much.

Everyone is complaining about the economy and calling PMB clueless, I am yet to see a good article that critiqued the budget in a bid to right the wrongs in it. It appears we are experts in identifying problems and having an idea of what the solution is, but have zero capacity in remedying the problems.

If we don't stop this attitude, we would wail till 2019. Vote another mistake and start wailing after 6 months. Who gains and who loses? The politicians can switch parties at will and gain, the masses lose completely.

PMB is a failure. Fine, but his failure affects 180m Nigerians. The stakes are too high to let him fail for another 3 years.

PoliticsRe: Is Buhari Turning Out To Be As Clueless As Jonathan? by LordAdam: 11:27am On Feb 04, 2016
Make them pass budget first (in March) then wait for 6 months after that before you give your verdict.

Yes, the budget is wasteful.
Yes, PMB lacks economic insight.
Yes, the PMB administration is painfully slow.

However, you cannot make a u-turn now because the times are unfavorable. Suck it up and weather the bad times.

I'm pro-GEJ, but I want PMB to succeed. He and APC have made a fool of themselves thus far, but let us hope for the best in the coming months when they are given cash to run the economy.

CACAWA:
that is not how jurisprudence works.

You can't punish a Trial Judge because you do not agree with his opinion.

If proof of bribery is substantiated, so be it. But to say because he felt party A was right, and you at the supreme court feel part B was right, so the juniour judge must be punished...what impetus.

The only reason the Supreme court is arm twisted into making this sort of decision is because of the mistake it made in the Rivers case.

In the Rivers case, they held that the use of Card reader was not a constitutional provision and so cannot be tendered as evidence as to whether or not an election truly held or didn't.

That opinion was enough to make all riggers win their case.

This opinion is against what the Tribunals and appeal Courts held, and although one may argue that truly the card reader was not mentioned in the electoral act or constitution, it is understandable that the act grants INEC the right to organise it's affairs. Hence, any method it deems fit for Identifying a registered voter should become Law and Binding.

When I heard that Fmr Gov. Peter Odili's wife is at the Supreme Court...I just LAUGHED
To be fair and accurate it started with the Ambode APC instance. The Supreme Court is only according the aged proverb that what is good for the goose is good for the gander. Unlike PMB and his anti-corruption fight.

Odunayaw:
I only see hateful thinking...why and why would I blind myself with achievements....call a spade a spade....
I agree Africans r self-enemies but there is great room for improvement...
You should blind yourself, in fact remodel your eyes from their achievements because you have zero. The few you have are not even held in high standard by yourself. Do you know how much France grosses from tourism in Paris alone, the UK from London visits, Egypt from the Pyramids, China from the forbidden city, Turkey from the Ottoman structures.

You are not calling a spade a spade, you are calling a shovel a spade because it looks like a spade. The black race is in a league of its own. At the perpetual bottom. Because the UK until less than 3 centuries ago allowed men to have special canes for their wives does not make their present stance on women emancipation an error. Hitler was a German, he killed 6 million Jews, does that make Germans any less entitled to being the most technologically advanced nation in Europe. What about France and Napoleon, or the UK and King John, or the tyrannical kings of Europe and the catholic versus protestant battles and persecutions. The Chinese fought each other for over a millennium resulting in the deaths of anywhere from 10 to 200 million people. The Japanese in their bid to expand their empire carried out many atrocities, they also had their civil war. Genghis Khan did his.

Are we then to erase all of their achievements because you want to call a spade a spade? What has sub-Sahara Africa achieved. You think you have the moral standing to call other people savages when you have faltered at every opportunity to de-label yourself. Nkrumah, Azikiwe, Kaunda led the fight for pan-Africanism (Allah bless their souls). Half a century later, how many fledging democracies do we have in Nigeria. How many coups have happened since the pan-African movement started. The whites gave us a benefit of doubt and look what we have done to it. It is akin to giving pearls to swines. Look at SA, look at how the blacks have rendered the country useless. If the whites hadn't destroyed the nuclear bomb SA had, who knows which country in Africa would have been a wasteland now.

Every chance we get we have wasted, back to back. The black race is a race born in slavery, that will remain in slavery, and will only redefine the meaning of slavery. A black man in the Europe will not through packaging on the floor in a public space, in Nigeria he or she will, what better defines that than a 'CURSE.' Take all the whites from SA, and that place will become Nigeria.

The whites are better than us because they granted us freedom. What have we used the freedom for instead of going back to them to over-rule us. Like dogs who need to be on a leash to survive. You say we should be sovereign and use their aid to enslave your countrymen.

Keep feigning ignorance and thinking because you have the right to vote or are a citizen of a third-world country you are free. That it makes you a concerned citizen of planet Earth or that your life means something. Everyone from the North Americans to Europeans to even Asians and Lebanese come to Nigeria and treat us as slaves, we say nothing, cough nothing, and still butcher ourselves for money rituals, slap civilians for making compliment. You want to defend yourself, your race. There is nothing phenomenal about the Black race. We are just humans that is all. We should be lucky that other races are also homo sapiens. If we weren't, I assure you that the British would not have left, Martin Luther King Jr would have died without achieving anything.

Look at the blacks in America, complaining about maltreatment when about 70% of black people over there are killed by black people. Everyone wants to be a rapper or a baller when there are plenty of professions out there to make a decent living from. Those are people who have never set foot on Africa, but are dumb just by virtue of the skin color. Now compare those in the dark continent or prefer dictatorship to democracy, or see nothing in jungle justice.

I'll cease my ranting. If you don't get me by now, you are a lost cause, like the other hundreds of million of black Africans! I admonish you, strive to be the exception, don't be the norm. Break free from the shackles of the curse called the Black African race. Because even in a thousand years, we would not take advantage of the chance we have to improve ourselves. That is why it is called a curse.

The fact is that the bitterness of Jonathan's loss is justified. Just look at what is happening. How dare the military ask Ijaw Elders to produce the pipeline bombers when the PMB told GEJ that an attack against BH is an attack against the North? How dare APC connive with ex-PDP members to rubbish only GEJ's tenure when people like OBJ, IBB, Abdusalami are roaming freely?

The US debt profile is a ticking time bomb. Even the UK has a debt profile that is above $10t.

But the economy sees the effect. The problem is that some people will see that and think there is nothing wrong with Buhari borrowing a lotbecause US has more debt than it can pay. Why must we be like US, UK and not China, Japan, the UAE, Norway, or Saudi Arabia who are the ones loaning the US?

We see fire and run into it with reckless abandon. OBJ gave us a clean slate. YarAdua and GEJ stained the slate again, now PMB wants to make sure that slate can never be clean again. And what do Nigerians get? Dishonesty, lies, fake promises, and inflated figures?

Man can become animals irrespective of race. But black men can be worse than animals. If Obama finds himself all alone in an African jungle, he will answer the call of nature in the bushes and kill adversaries to survive. True. There are sick humans the world round, the Jack the Ripper kind, Breivik, Hitler, Al-baghdidi in every race.

The fact is that you are comparing the exceptions in their race to the commonplace attitude of the black race. The Russian Army is ruthless, but look at their innovations. The typical Black race Army is far more ruthless, where are the innovations. The Indian police is ruthless, look at their history, the mathematician who said that any number divided by 0 is 0 is an Indian. Look at the Taj Mahal and find any monument is sub-Sahara Africa that equals it. The average Indian is a bright fellow, invading every profession under the sun. Look at their religions which are the most peaceful in the world. Compare to the Black race.

Look at the history of India and the history of sub-sahara Africa. A British explorer before the English invaded India reported that in his travails never did he come across a sighting where there a thief was caught and hounded. Something unheard of in Britain and Europe at the time. The Indians and Chinese had discovered mirrors and designed machineries while our chiefs over here were exchanging grown men for snuff.

PoliticsRe: It Is My Submission That Africa Should Be Recolonised And Treated As Sub Humans by LordAdam: 10:37pm On Feb 03, 2016
@Rossikk, you seem like a reasonable person with a heavily flawed sense of emotional disorder.

I do not want to quote all of your posts, but this is the question I put to you. 6000 years of recorded history on planet earth, show me which Black Kingdom in sub-sahara Africa can rival the Egyptian kingdom, the Assyrians, the Persians, the Babylonians, the Qing dynasty in China, the Japanese empire, the empires in the Sub-Indian continent, the Aztecs with their cities of gold, the Prussian empire, the British Empire, the Russian empire, the Mongolian empire, the Ottoman empire, the Seulecids. The Europeans, Arabs, Asians were making advances in civilization. The Greeks with philosophy, the Romans with construction, the Arabs with mathematics, the Indians with life sciences, the Chinese with trade, what did Black Africans contribute as a race?

Which other race have been consistent slaves for 6000 years apart from the black race? Right from the Sumerians to today? You and I belong to a savage race. There are individuals who turn out to be exceptions like Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu, Martin Luther King Jnr, Chinua Achebe... But they represent a percentage that is so small I can't calculate a figure.

History says Africa is cursed, the present say Africa is cursed, the future will only replay the past.

Look at you trying to pass your message across and your only way to do so is to wish that someone who you haven't seen and his mother be taken as slaves. Do you think that kind of reasoning is civilized or barbaric. I will give you an example of civilized, Brevnik killed 77 people and injured 319 people. During his trial, the relations of those he killed gave him handshakes because that is what civil people do. That is what Mandela did when he came out of prison, inviting the White supremacists to a dinner table. Today, Brevnik has his own private suite in a Norwegian jail, and undergoes therapy so that he can be helped.

In Netherlands, prisons are closing because there are not enough people breaking the law. You mentioned the US. Why was Obama voted in to end the war after the US people found out they were deceived by Bush? Did Tony Blair not apologize for the war? Why was there outrage in US after reports showed that there were no chemical weapons in Iraq?

Now compare that to Nigeria where the vast majority of people supported the government for killing 700 people because they belonged to a sect that blocked a road in a procession. 700 people and nobody is perturbed. A kid was shot in the vagina, and people say they deserve what they got. Such insensitivity, such barbarism. Look at Burundi? Look at the kind of leaders that constitute the African Union.

I will not say we should be re-colonized again. Recolonization will shut the voices of the very few intelligent people that can chart their own course. The average black man is a curse to planet earth. Destined to serve other races. Are Africans not slaves currently? There is no need to make it official. The most of them that leave the shores, where do they end up? Even with the technology and relatively low discrimination, what have we used our opportunity for. Look at Malaysia taking seedlings from Nigeria and today is one of the worlds largest exporter of palm oil.

For every reason you come up with why we should not be colonized, I can come up with a gazillion reasons why we should be packaged and sent to space alone to rot for all eternity (the Arabs should tag along too). The Europeans have left Nigeria for what, 55 years, and one region wants to neo-colonize the other 4 major regions? Is it not slavery, when the SS holds power and another region says they will make Nigeria ungovernable for him.

You can sample your emotional hogwash. Wish I burn in hell. I don't give a darn. It only shows you are primitive and barbaric. That you are a perfect specimen of what the OP said and what I have said in this long post. I will prove to be an exception. The question is will you?

That is the very first step to take. Place the blame on yourself if you must. God, the white man, your leaders are not to blame. No one is to blame. Chart your own course and do not expect life to give you a raft to sail the travails that will surely come.

You can have a black skin, but you can choose to let it affect your mind or do not let it. Nelson Mandela is also a black man. Even in Russia where racism against blacks is rife, blacks still hold positions in government. There is a black man in the English House of Lords. A black man sits in the White House. Black men have won Nobel Peace prizes.

Be the exception. Refuse to be follow the rule or the norms. Do not let the race affect who you are or become (even though as social beings it becomes increasingly difficult to chart a different course).

In the movie Thor, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) said "Magic is just science we yet don't understand" Though the quote belonged to an Astrophysicists who wrote sci-fis.

If you look at the quantum world, you will see a far bizarre world than what you are used to. A large universe of it's lurking within the microscopic world.

Here in the macro world objects cannot pass through solid walls but in this quantum world the manifestations of nature are totally unconventional and different that electrons and other subatomic particles can move through walls.

Here in the macro world nothing is faster than light but in the microscopic universe information can pass from one object to another of remarkable distance instantaneously like it is just one particle in two different places (Quantum entanglement)

I think many of the magic tricks we have seen are just tricks, but i am open that we may yet have the ability to manipulate nature in ways different from ours by employing the principles the quantum world teaches.. then it will still bear the name "Science" instead of magic

Nature is one random crazy and bizarre whole..

You find better words to describe the theory. Bravo!

I think our exposure to the spiritual in Africa makes us more ready to accept that Magic may very well be Science. For those in the west particularly North America, sorcery is like a tale from yesteryears with bogus claims that are very likely untrue. I'm fairly certain the only magic Stephen Hawkins has experienced is one at a magic show or circus (I may be wrong but I dare say I'm not).

Same way same-sex relations is foreign and unacceptable in sub-sahara Africa while it has enjoyed prominence in Europe for at least two thousand years (all Roman Emperors except Augustus had male lovers).

Establishing a link between magic and science is akin to looking at nature to formulate solutions. Like modeling the takeoff and landing of airplays by mirroring the flight of birds. Teleportation is the scientific term for disappearing and appearing. CCTV is the scientific term for sorcerers using mirrors or magical waters to monitor their foes.

Of course the theory is outlandish and will attract scorn in the scientific community. I think the scientific community should be a little more liberal. For example, wormholes/warp drives despite been a valid theory to surmounting the speed of light travel barrier is ridiculed in mainstream science discussions.

The black race WILL never meet up. I believe is possible or better still, it's already happening to some extent. For those of us that do believe in extraterrestrial powers/beings or what we commonly call witches and wizards or awon Iya ooo... These beings could disappear and appear in another place, I believe what is happening is just time manipulation, they are able to travel close or at the speed of light which makes everything still to them thus they can now move to their destination and reduce their speed to normal, making us think the just disappear and appear like that. For example if you look at a very fast running fan, at some point you might not see the blades of the fan, but they are their is just that they are moving two fast for you to notice imagine an human can do that and move that fast, you won't see the person. I believe this is another way of doing time travel, but maybe one is not travelling to the future can't really say.

About the future or past, recall the theory of special relativity.
The mechanism for traveling into the distant future is to use the time-dilation effect of Special Relativity, which states that a moving clock appears to tick more slowly the closer it approaches the speed of light. This effect, which has been overwhelmingly supported by experimental tests, applies to all types of clocks, including biological aging.

If one were to depart from the earth in a spaceship that could accelerate continuously at a comfortable one g (an acceleration that would produce a force equal to the gravity at the earth's surface), one would begin to approach the speed of light relative to the earth within about a year. As the ship continued to accelerate, it would come ever closer to the speed of light, and its clocks would appear to run at an ever slower rate relative to the earth. Under such circumstances, a round trip to the center of our galaxy and back to the earth--a distance of some 60,000 light-years--could be completed in only a little more than 40 years of ship time. Upon arriving back at the earth, the astronaut would be only 40 years older, while 60,000 years would have passed on the earth. Such a trip would pose formidable engineering problems, but I know is way possible maybe not now but very soon.

Time travel into the past, which is what people usually mean by time travel, is a much more uncertain proposition. There are many solutions to Einstein's equations of General Relativity that allow a person to follow a timeline that would result in her (or him) encountering herself...

And so on like that.....................

I know time travel is possible, and it will happen. I really need to correct some things in the past.

Just my thought though smiley grin wink
To put it succinctly, Magic/Sorcery is Science. Different tools the same result.

The movie The Sorcerer's Apprentice (with Nicolas Cage playing Merlin) is probably not an intellectual resource, but it offers a unique viewpoint that supports that theory.

Science/TechnologyRe: Are We Alone In The Universe? by LordAdam: 10:02pm On Feb 01, 2016
micodon:
bros, I didn't ask for definitions.... DO YOU UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPTS? In a nutshell, every object in the universe is moving at 4 velocities (3 in each spatial dimensions and 1 in the time dimension). THE SUM OF THESE VELOCITIES ALWAYS EQUALS THE SPEED OF LIGHT. Therefore, when you go faster in the spatial dimensions, your velocity in the time dimension reduces relative to your velocity in the spatial dimensions. Let's represent this in a simple equation. X + Y + Z + T = c. Where X, Y, Z are the velocities in your Cartesian coordinates, T is your velocity in the time dimension, and c is the speed of light.

Now what happens when you reach a velocity that equals c in your spatial dimensions? We make T the subject of the formula, like so.... T = C - (X + Y +Z). Because x+y+z = c, T = 0. So at the speed of light, time stops for the object. That is why light photons are ageless... They travel at c, so T for them = 0.

Now what happens when You go past the speed of light in your spatial dimensions? That means (X + Y + Z) becomes greater than C. Therefore time becomes negative. What does it mean for time to flow in the negative direction? I leave you to answer that.

This is all fine Mathematically. But according to Einstein, the speed of light is the speed limit of the universe.. Nothing can go beyond it. That's where going back in time fails in practical
Sometimes, I wish I were a theoretical physicist.

Einstein may be wrong about the speed limit of the universe. He already is wrong about the largest size of a structure in the universe. Check that out. The appeal of science is that no one, no book, no reference is 100% right.

I understand that we must stick to what we now know in hopes of discovering the unknown, which is why I am quick to point people to talk in less-definite terms. The speed of light is the speed limit of the "OBSERVABLE" universe. Omitting observable makes the statement untrue in a purely technical sense. Cause for a while we were unable to pick up radio waves even though they have been there all along. There may be something faster than light that we just do not have the ability to ascertain at the moment.

In any case, to the issue of the thread, I surmise that I will be very surprised if we are alone in the universe. I beats reason. It may well be that our form of life may be restricted to Earth, but another form of life should exist elsewhere. UFOs are real although the scientific community, me included, would prefer to exercise extreme caution on the concept.

Speculations are interesting playground tools for creative and imaginative minds. It is very important that we seek answers though, for only then do we really become alive. If not for DARPA, this beauty called the Internet would never have been developed, nor would the geo-positional marvel called GPS be developed.

It is doubly unfortunate that sub-saharan Africa as expected is way behind on all of these. Some say we have a lot on our plate, but when the Greek philosophers, Arabian/Indian mathematicians, Mayan/Aztecs astrologers were pushing the frontiers of objective reasoning, wars, conquest, and barbarism flourished unabated. The black race as a people must stop the excuses, abandon mediocrity, and chart their own course.

Scattered around this thread are smart minds. Unfortunately, a single tree cannot make a forest. Many minds here would have been of more use to planet earth and mankind if they had a different skin color or were born in more civilized societies.

While we search for life outside Earth, let us remember that life on Earth, especially on this part of the divide is to put it frankly "DESPICABLE" and not worth living. Changing that is not something I would bet my life on, but I would rather try than chalk it up as an attempt that is dead on arrival.

PoliticsRe: Can Nigeria Become A Developed Nation? by LordAdam: 9:23pm On Feb 01, 2016
NO!

By the time we may be nearing anything that is remotely described as "developed," the meaning of developed would have changed.

6000 years of known human history and no black nation/kingdom/tribe/society has ever been as civilized or developed as its contemporaries in Europe, Arabia, the Mediterranean, or Asia.

Sub-Saharan Africa is cursed!!! There is a reason why all races emanated from Africa (the cradle of mankind) and never looked back. The land and the race are cursed!!!

If you have a different opinion, shut it. Do not quote me. The past agrees with me, the present agrees with me, the future will agree with me.

You one spoil Seun market abi?

In any case, what you should realize is that life is a cycle. There will always be a new crop of ignorant fellows with enough time and MB to waste to fuel the anti-ethnic fights on NL. It's just the way it is.

What you can do is sit back and watch them fuckers do themselves over. It is comical to say the least. Unfortunately there is absolutely nothing you can do to avert the trend.

You grew out of it. Some current e-warriors will also grow out of it eventually.

Are u aware that even some appreciable pdp members also benefitted from the lower court judgements? Does it mean that these courts for these ones did a good work but to those that didn't favour them, they didn't?
Ur line of thinking doesn't fly. Allegations of judgement influence to favour the ruling party is just a figment of imagination of such. It has no basis whatsoever. If Buhari was that type of person, don't think it's impossible even till the supreme Court. The judges there, are they spirits? They are humans like u and I. What will it take Buhari to see CJN in confidence being fellow abokis?
Deal with it, the judiciary has done what she feels best in their wisdom. No influence wheresoever.
Politics is a game of interest. The Rivers election tribunal was moved from Port Harcourt to Abuja. Same thing with the Taraba tribunal. Who won in both cases?

If not for the supreme court, Wike would have had a rerun. If APC would have won the rerun is debate for another day, but look at the cumulative number of seats PDP lost in the Rivers State House of Assembly and the emergence of the Speaker.

APC would be foolish to want to capture all of Nigeria, but they sure as well (you do know that) wanted to take up strategical SS states primarily Rivers to further their drive.

Next stop is Akwa Ibom.

The Supreme Court Justices are some of the most powerful men in the country. They are not hoi polloi tribunal officers that are appointed and disbanded at will.

The different branches of the Judiciary are open to different level of influences. Even the Delta State Tribunal was influenced by the sitting governor. How then do you think that the Rivers State Tribunal and other tribunals of states that interest APC will not be influenced by the ruling party?

In any case, there's no reason to prolong this discussion.

Have a nice day.

Eediota, check my posts, Av been busy. Wikes victory surely was a step back but we will continue to forge ahead.
The good thing though is no fool will henceforth come online and claim apc has the judiciary in her pocket. grin
Anyone can still use that line and would be accurate. The Supreme Court is in a league of its own.

If many of the senators, house of reps, house of assembly members that lost their seats had the ability to appeal to the Supreme Court, their elections would have been upheld. Much of the judiciary is still in APC's pocket. For now, it appears the SCN is out of the power grapples.

An advice for you is to not be so hateful. Stay easy on the pedal sometimes...

The Supreme court victory of Wike, Jonathan's comment on the armsgate, and Tompolo's press release are connected. They all happened within 24 hours.

The keyword is "at the appropriate time." Jonathan used that phrase too.

Finally! It's better we all wait.
