I'm not surprised that most irredeemably dishonest PDP Zombies like you wish us to continue to be at the mercy of 'judges' who give judgements like the examples below as your hate and bitterness about the daura mallam trumps everything in your existence

Stop being one-sided. The Judiciary needs a reform, sure, but when PMB took the oath, he swore to uphold the constitution. Since that is the case, he can impress on the Chief Justice to wade into the rot in his arm of government. Not flout court orders.

He is doing the wrong thing, the wrong way.

You are encouraging impunity, and I can affirmatively say that it will come to haunt you guys later. Already, Tompolo is flouting a court order. You cannot be the President and the Chief Justice of the Federation, it is not done.

I leave you with these quotes by Lee Kuan Yew (whom you guys desperately wished GEJ could resemble), a first class law graduate of Fitzwilliam college who won the Fitzwilliam's Whitlock Prize and went on to be returned as prime minister of Singapore a record 6 times.

Posterity will judge criminals like you who refuse to fight for the thousands languishing in police cells and prisons while your 'hero' held sway like those in the link below but instead prefer to speak up for crooks who have ensured you are no better than a wailer with a keyboard and free browsing data

Swerve jor. Fine, Singapore is a developed nation today because of the stance of Lee Kuan Yew, but there are many problems with Singapore today. The opposition in Singapore is silent and demonstrations are frowned upon. That is not someone GEJ would want to model.

US, UK, Europe, Israel all became developed without the iron-fist.

Are you going to compare Hitler to PMB next? Hitler made Germany a World Power and massively sanitized the reckless German polity prior when he became a Fuhrer. Does that make him a saint?

You are comparing Lee whose iron-fist made sense in the 1980's with Jonathan who ruled in a time when the world is gravitating more towards democracy and the respect for rule of law.

Look at Libya? Why was Gadaffi removed, even though Libya was much better with him in power than now? Look at Mubarak and Egypt?

Iron-fists may have worked in the 80's, but not now. We are in the 21st century. If PMB continues like this, a revolt may start, and all the little gains we may have gained as a nation will be lost.

If you want iron-fist leadership, enter the military. Under civilian rule, there are established tenets that must be followed.

You are making a mockery of the system. So if a common market thief is caught, he or she should decline to argue his case because the Judiciary system is corrupt? Can you hear yourself.

You need to be shipped to North Korea since you like a tyrant. After what this country saw under Abacha, you still want a tyrant. How old are you?

Brotherly, I get your point. But, look at this differently.

The $49b/$20b (whatever the actual amount is) eventually came to limelight. NOI, Sanusi, and Diezani were invited by the Senate. So the case was always going to come out.

Now the problem is that something that sensitive was leaked in the first place. Would you be saying the same thing if something pertaining to the security of the nation between the Chief of Army Staff and PMB was leaked in public.

In saner climes, this is treason. Sanusi sent this letter in confidentiality directly to the President, so that they could wade on the issue in private and then pick on an appropriate medium to address it. The ignoramus instead leaked it. Now, since he has leaked it, has the issue been resolved adequately?

By leaking it, those who should be found wanting in NNPC just went ahead to change the records. Who gained and who lost?

It beats my imagination when people like you call Amaechi Judas. Amaechi never betrayed anybody because he was suspended from pdp and he decided to join APC and was even DG of campaign organisation for PMB, with this everybody knows where he belong. The last time I checked Judas pretended to love Jesus but sold him out without anybody knowing but reverse is the case when we talk about Amaechi and Jonathan. Please if you don't know the meaning of betrayal you better check your dictionary and if you have forgotten the story of Judas just go and dust your Bible. Take it or leave it Amaechi is a lion, he confronted his fears even when people like you never gave APC a chance and he came out victorious, I just like him for that
Amaechi is a riff-raff. All his utterances prove him for what he is, a tout. I stand my assertion.

This satire deserves a thumbs up.

In recent days, I have seen core APC supporters agree that PMB is a tyrant and accept that they would rather have a tyrant than a democrat.
Please, someone should answer me, how did PMB come into power? Democracy or autocracy?

In recent days, I have noticed APC supporters ignoring the fact that Lassa Fever has killed more people in less time than Ebola did.
Please, someone should answer me, was PMB elected solely to jail corrupt people. What about managing the health of the nation?

In recent days, I have noticed APC supporters try to downplay the fact that we have two versions of the 2016 Budget.
Please, is Ita Enang not a Special Assistant to PMB? Could he have updated and resubmitted the budget without PMB's approval? If No, was due process followed?

In recent days, I have noticed APC supporters nit-picking the BBOG saga.
Please, did Buhari/APC not promise to find the Chibok girls in 3 months? How long has it been since PMB entered power? Why is PMB using the exact same line as GEJ?

APC zombies are a gang of touts whose sole aim was to remove GEJ from the presidency. They had no solid plan on how to manage the nation, and certainly know nothing about running a nation.

It is time for APC zombies to start asking for forgiveness from the Nigerian populace for the unnerving lies and blatant untrue propaganda they sold to the North and SW to get into power.

when i see the comments of my fellow Deltans celebrating criminals, thuggery and impunity, i feel so ashamed, the truth remains that the average Deltan needs reorientation, they do not know the meaning of good governance, as a matter of fact they have not felt good governance, just come to Delta state and see how criminality is being celebrated, i will use my community as an example for glorifying criminality and the repercussions. my community, Ekpan in Uvwie L.G.A. have a known criminal is their leader, enthroned by the king of the kingdom, he was once a thug worked for the past pdp govt in the state, now he calls the shot in the community, he empowers the uneducated thugs by giving them sensitive positions i the community. Ekpan community is not just a small community, its the real oil city, it host the WRPC, PPMC, CHEVRON, NGC, NESTOIL and many other multinationals to name but a few. but the community is still in the dirt in terms of development, the main public secondary school there is a write off, the hospital there is like where pigs are kept.
you see we have a big problem in Delta state, only God can deliver us, look at the so called enlighten ones on nairaland celebrating criminality, its the general mentality here in delta state, warri especially, because Ibori tarred some roads, build some structures, and they see him as someone that has done so much, and majority of these guys have never crossed out of the state. when i compare the revenues of delta and cross river state and the level of development there, i just weep every day. Warri is like a huge dump site, thugs harassing citizens collecting money from them and nobody is saying anything.
all these things i have seen and resolved in my heart to attain power by going into politics, there is a saying that evil thrives because the good ones refuse to do anything about it. i just pray God see me through.
I was going to skip this thread, but it appears well-meaning elites on this forum from the region are leaving remarks, and I believe I should follow suit.

I made a similar rant here. It is good to know that more concerned indigenes are getting tired of the situation.

The problem however is that we are a tiny minority.

The monarchs are effed up, the community leaders (youth, elders) r effed up, those with considerable influence don't mind because small millions dey knack their account every month, the youths no send (dem dey look Ateke, Tompolo, Boyloaf, Ayiri, dey feel say d country dey reward thuggery), even the ordinary people dey follow the "suffer and smile" code. All of it turns my stomach.

Tell me how do you effect change when 99% of the populace are either involved or do not mind? I'm sad that by the time they would realize, we would have nothing going on for us (oil fit don finish or no too get value again).

So yes, the youths are cursed, the elders are, the land is.

In any case, na dem know. I will welcome any well meaning solution tho'.

obailala:
I am tired of hearing this continuous empty talk about how GEJ's wonderful economic policies turned Nigeria to heaven and then Buhari came in and reversed everything. Even an infant knows that when there is high inflow of forex (oil money), the economy flourishes, but as soon as the inflow of forex stops, the economy shrinks (except there was savings).

Meanwhile with all the wonderful and economic policies of GEJ and his adept team, can you kindly tell me what happened to Nigeria's economy between November 2014 and May 2015?... Even with the so called wonderful economic team and policies, Nigeria's economy turned around on its head as soon as the oil price crash kicked in; the Naira value fell from around N170 to N220, the GDP growth rate crashed from the highs of 6-7% to about 2.3% (its lowest in over a decade), even the FG had to borrow money to pay common salaries to FG workers even though at this period oil prices were still over $60/barrel as compared to $32/barrel which it is today.

But now, GEJ supporters like yourself have conveniently overlooked all this and hung the entire blame on Buhari's head for the nosedive in our economy?... How treacherous! You claim Buhari does not have an economic policy and that is why things are bad. Obviously in your fantasy world, you expect Buhari to conjure magicians and prophets from heaven to come and manage an economy which currently has no money; probably you want these angel economists to pluck forex reserves from trees to balance the economy. You obviously did not see anything wrong in a nation not saving for the rainy day, but now the rainy day has come, you expect voodoo economists to come and manufacture money to cushion the effect or a recession?

Now let met put it straight in a nutshell, contrary to what any voodoo economist tells you, there is absolutely nothing that can be done on the short term to bring Nigeria out of its current recession except we resort to massive borrowing or recovery of looted funds. There is no amount of economic policy that can make an economy which has no money to be instantly buoyant. Whatever it is that can be done by even the best economists, the positive effects will take a reasonable time to manifest. If this oil prices doesn't rise soon, things will only get worse.

And finally, it is meaningless to compare the performance of Jonathan who ruled in time of plenty, to a Buhari who has only held sway for less than a year in a time of deep recession. If you must compare both leaders, then compare with Jonathan's performance in handling the economy between October/November 2014 and May 2015 and you will be shocked at what a failure he was. I rest my case!
If not that there is freedom of speech, them suppose analyze your brain.

Oga, na management we dey yarn. When the economy shrunk under GEJ, people did not feel it. Now that PMB has entered, everyone is feeling it. Is it not the same zombies that are saying a leader is always at fault for everything that happens under his domain?

If yes, why do you want to blame GEJ and exonerate PMB.

Receive sense before it is too late. Cramjones don waka leave una. You better march before all your twitter followers unfollow you finish.

Use your brain and call a spade a spade.

I've always said GEJ was not perfect but he left Nigeria better than he met it.

Both statements are unfortunate. But if you want to be honest about which is more callous, it is common sense. GEJ boasted to punish his own followers because the governor of their state, just one (1) man was against him. He boasted that they should not expect a single federal project. Now compare that to PMB who stated that areas which didn't give him much support shouldn't expect 'equal' treatment with areas which gave him overwhelming support. Both statements are unfortunate and I would have loved to leave it at that, but since you chose to quantify which is more unfortunate, even an infant can tell how lowly and diabolic the statement of GEJ was. Besides, unlike PMB who only spoke, GEJ actually made good his threat.

What on earth are you yapping about?... even an infant knows the difference between statutory federal allocations and federal government projects. Every state receives its statutory allocations and that has always been the case since 1960 till date irrespective of president. We are referring here to federal government projects and not federal allocations. The statement of GEJ in that regard was totally indefensible!

In your bid to introduce insults, you are unknowingly exposing your own unintelligence. I do not believe I am arguing with a 5 year old pupil so I did not think I needed to spell out everything for you in the kindergarten style for you to understand. I'm sure you are a smart adult but you are now obviously trying to play dumb because you lack what to say.

[A] For a nation of over 170 million people which imports most of its essential needs, a foreign reserve of $29billion is a dangerously low figure. That's the reason why CBN is desperately guarding the meagre reserves. When you were a teenager, a savings of N20,000 may have passed you as a rich boy, but your dad having N50,000 as total savings with a family of 6 to cater for, that is a dangerously low figure.

[B] The income of a nation reduces by over 60% and you dare to act like you do not know the implications of that?... I do not know whether you have a job, but assuming you do and your employer suddenly cuts over 60% of your income, would it be sensible for any human to expect your standard of living to remain the same?... So much for Mr. Intelligence.

You absolutely need not say more because you will only expose your gross ignorance more and more.

In July 2008, global oil prices peaked at $147 (the highest ever) and do you know what reasonable leaders do when that happens?... THEY SAVE!
In just over a year of Yaradua's administration, Nigeria had grown its foreign exchange reserve from about $42bn to $62bn. However, an oil price crash similar to the one we suffer now happened and global crude prices plunged from $147 to about $40/barrel. The only reason why Nigeria survived that crises in 2008 was because we had savings; it cost Nigeria about $20billion within a year to cushion the effect of the 2008 oil price crash. We did not survive because of any "adept FG economic team or astute policies" like you ignorantly allude, Nigeria survived because we had leaders then who knew the importance of saving for the rainy day. Today, Nigeria is grappling with the devastating effect of a volatile oil price all because we had a leader who didn't think it was necessary to save a dime and here we have someone who brags about his intelligent trying to justify and glorify such reckless and retrogressive style of leadership. God forbid!

First, you accept that we have savings, you also accept that we still receive revenue and you are complaining that it is too small. This is a huge display of incompetence. And you have no shame to state so.

Now, you want to compare 2008 when the global economy crashed (Greece and most of EU has not still recovered in 7+ years) plus oil price fall to now when there is only oil price fall... Let me ask you, are we bailing out banks with $10b now?

it doesn't change the fact that when gej got there dollars sold for #155 and when he left dollar was already selling for #230.

it doesn't change the fact that in 2009/2010 when Jonathan took power external debt was $3.947billion

when Jonathan was leaving in 2015, our external debt was $9.4billion. despite a boom in the international oil sector.
Oga swerve, I have a business to run. If I received a nickel for every time I brought to bear the folly of you zombies, I'll be richer than Dangote.

Let me jor reply you to prove you are a ZOMBIE.

Dollar is now $305 under PMB, what is your point?

Jonathan used 5 years to accumulate debt of $3.947b to $9.4b (actually $6b of FG external debt, the rest are the external debt of the states. But it doesn't matter, since you are too dumb to spot the difference), that is an increase of $5.5b. Now PMB wants to borrow $4.5b in one year. And has already approved circa $300m (circa $100m for Edo, and circa $200m for Lagos) external borrowing for the states in 7 months bringing total to $4.8b.

With the current huge fall and citing the idiocy of the economic team to peg the oil price right, we may have to borrow more and increase our deficit.

God (if you are a christian) or Allah (if you are a muslim) will judge you for your legendary hypocrisy and for placing Nigeria in this mess.

Under GEJ, ebola that killed 11,300 in Guinea, Sierra Leone, and Liberia killed just 20 although it lasted from 20 July 2014 until we were declared free by WHO on 20 October (3 months). http://www.cdc.gov/vhf/ebola/outbreaks/2014-west-africa/case-counts.html

Under PMB, lassa fever has killed 43 on last count in only two months (November, 2015 to January, 2016). http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/196722-breaking-nigerias-capital-abuja-records-first-lassa-fever-death.html

obailala:
Buhari made only a 'statement' and you have crucified and buried him. Yet you want to completely exonerate GEJ who not only made a statement but also made good his threat by not bringing FG development to Rivers state?... you claim GEJ did it for only one year and for one state so therefore it no biggie?... Chaii!.. This must be dried paw-paw leaves at work.
Please tell me, which between GEJ and PMB statement is worst. Be honest?

Oh... You claim Amaechi received federal allocation so therefore the Rivers people had nothing to complain about?... is it federal allocation we are talking about here?.... Please tell me one single 5% state that has not received federal allocation since Buhari took over?... In fact kindly tell me one single SE or SS state that has not received federal allocation since the beginning of Nigeria in 1960?... What exactly is even the marginalisation that the SE and SS are complaining about since you have chosen to equate federal presence with 'routine federal allocation'?.... You really need to stop smoking those dried leaves for your own good grin
SS states receive 13% derivation, have a Ministry, have NDDC and state PADECs.
SE states are complaining about projects.

Unless for some reason, you believe in one year PH would have received FG projects that would have made the state become Dubai, you have no case. Rivers state received all that was entitled them in the 1 year that GEJ and Amaechi had their beef. Amaechi should explain what he has been using the money the state has been receiving for and the huge loans. Was he the only one that had crosses with GEJ? Look at Lagos state.

Never did I blame the FG for the recklessness of the state governors. I only asked a simple question, what did the FG do with the larger chunk (60%) of the ECA funds which was it's share?.... Are you trying to now blame state governors for the inability of the FG to save anything from its own mega share of the funds?

Gbam!... You have said it all, there is basically nothing left for me to say; you have just made life easy for me with these your statements grin I didn't know you were even this smart all these while so why on earth have you been stressing me?

If you actually know that an economy blossoms when money flows, and shrinks when money stops flowing, so why have you been directly comparing Buhari's handling of the economy (in recession) to GEJ's handling of the economy when there was obviously plenty?... Do you honestly think that's a fair comparison?... You even acknowledge that the economy also shrunk rapidly under GEJ when oil prices started falling, so why on earth are you crucifying PMB when you actually know the reason behind the current shrink? undecided

You are obviously a very amusing and confused fellow; kindly compare this your statement with the statements you just made above. You previously acknowledged the global oil prices crash and its attendant effect on Nigeria's income and economy; a problem which affected the later end of GEJ's administration and which is still affecting PMB's administration. Now after acknowledging this obvious problem which even a pre-schooler understands, you have turned around to now claim that we have income and we have savings and that the problem is PMB's inaction? undecided Could this irrational flip be the effect of those paw-paw leaves?
Wow, I have had this wrong notion for a while that I was communicating with an intelligent fellow. Now, I know that is not the case.

Answer these questions?

A. Does Nigeria has $0 reserve or a $29b reserve right now?
B. Does Nigeria export 0 barrels of crude oil or circa 2m barrels of crude oil daily right now?
C. If yes to question B, are we getting paid or not?

Now, let me make you look stupid.

In 2008, we had a world financial crisis and huge oil price fall. The Nigerian economy shrunk as a result, but because of the action of an adept FG economic team and astuteness of their policies, we did not fall into a recession. We rebounded

In 2015/2016, we only have a huge oil price fall. The Nigerian economy shrunk as a result, but because of the inaction and aloofness of the FG economic team, we are falling into the worse recession since the 80s.

Need I say more?

Look at how GEJ handled the Ebola outbreak, versus how the President is handling small lassa fever re-occurrence. Say the truth and it shall set you free. GEJ may not be perfect but he sure is better than PMB.

Suck on that!!!

Come on dudes and dudettes, our sexual preferences vary wildly.

First, the lady is placing the OP in a tight spot, which I think is not fair. Some people are not into cunnilingus and it's fine. Some ladies would rather pull a trigger on you than have you explore their twats. If you want it and your partner think it's weird then there are better ways to get him to do so than try to blackmail him with the classic "Don't you love me" line.

@OP, it seems you would be willing to experiment. If you can, go ahead. Don't try to use your tongue to do magic just yet, just give her the satisfaction she yearns. Baby steps first (this can serve as a pointer--http://www.yourtango.com/200941066/3-cunnilingus-tricks-shell-crave). If it doesn't feel right after trying it, don't force yourself, talk to her.

Many have a warped idea of this whole love and sex thing; that because A likes it, B must too; which is often not accurate. Communication is the key.

All the best in your relationship.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. But na extension of confab report I jor share. A lot of people agree we need federalism to achieve our full potential as a nation, but right now, most people are not thinking as much as they are reacting.

I will note your request.

Thanks for your time and have a pleasant night rest.
