jimtemi1: GOD forgive me until the demise of my dad before I knew who my mother was, we always believe everything our mum told us about him, later when he left us we now saw who the hyprocraite is... Fear woman.. I can never let my wife turn me against my children lai lai.. Instead of my to stay at the bar with friends I rather come home n watch cartoons with them cos that were it always start So your mum portrayed your dad in a bad light and in return you didn't do what a child was supposed to do for a father? Please kindly share your story so I can learn ...I'm a huge marriage fan that believes the institution called marriage and parental upbringing if done right , can be sweet , happy and pleasurable |

princewarri1985: This totally unacceptable in all ramification, because a retired NNPC staff in my neighbourhood spent thousands of dollars from his hard earned pension to train his first daughter in a university in the US she graduated and stayed back in the US got a job and guess what? He sent money to Nigeria for her parents and he asked the receiver to give her mom 800k and the father only 50k, and the father was so angry that he chased everybody away from his house including his wife and all his children and he threatened to sell of his house which worth about 50 million and use the money to rellocate abroad and take of himself for once, because he said he has spent all his life taking care of his children and also sacrificing for them but they dont appreciate it, family had to intervened and he even threatened to disowned his first daughter ese who lives in the US What happened at the end ? How was the matter later handled cos the girl no try at all... |

Ofolete: Just because women bath their children with soap bought by fathers, cook foods that were provided by the fathers, wear their children clothes that were bought by the fathers, take and bring children to school that its fees were paid by the fathers (school run). These little activities of mothers to their children bring both of them very close (intimacy) and serve as the point of deceit. As a young dad, I carry my children, I go school run, I play with them, I bath them when I am free and wears and removes their Pampas, I watch ball with them, in fact they are all Chelsea fans, I play ball with them, I feed them, I buy clothes, shoes and other wears for them and surprise them with it, I teach them and do their home work etc, Do you know what people like my mother and mother in-law say? Your children are too attached to you. Hahaha... I don't want my wife to deceive my children like my mum did to us. Hahaha... I pity my late dad when I remember him. May his soul rest in the Bossom of the Lord, amen. You're a smart man! This is what my dad also thought me to do too...and when I get married , I'll do all these!! |

BankyW1: I appreciate the encouragement, and the constructive criticism. Senseless hating is amusing but everyone's entitled to their opinion.
I've received quite a bit of backlash for ebute metta. Funny how life is, I never intended to release it or do anything with it, by now I'm sure people have heard the story of how I came up with it, in fact I only gave it to a couple of dj friends in yankee for them to play at parties and put on mixtapes (kind of like how everyone from little' wayne to 50 cent does remixes),
In my case, that mixtape song that was for promo only now blew up out of control and surpassed anyone's expectations. So much so that when it opened the doors for me to move back to Naija, they (the marketers) would not accept a Banky W album for release WITHOUT ebute metta on it.
In any case, I've been making music way before the remix, and will continue after the remix. Someone said I'm going to have to work hard to prove that I'm not one of those unoriginal "poor excuse for artists", and that's fine with me. Will continue to work hard at what I do. For those of you that have given my other songs like "My Regret", "Capable", and now "Don't break my heart" a chance, I thank u for listening and supporting, and I hope I never let u down. To those that aren't feeling it, it's all good. You don't have to listen if u don't want to. Cheers folks. Banky W was once on Nairaland too.... I told a friend of mine that Nigerians are sleeping on Nairaland!!! See , if you know how to utilize this Forum , your life will change!!! |

Dremca: Agents may not give a honest feedback. I'm also considering olokonla/sangotedo since is around Lagos business school but nothing beyond sangotedo. Which good estates in sangotedo would you recommend? Ok you know what....I'll take a walk maybe tomorrow and take pictures of the Estates I come across and maybe upload them here so you can see...or what do you think?? Secondly I would ask my brother if he knows if Ikota axis is prone to flooding! |

Dremca: I was searching for a miniflat around lekki phase 1 but found out most apartments built there are 2 or 3 bedroom flats or duplex, but I'm considering ikota villa area precisely lekki county home. Please I would like to know if the Estate is prone to flooding and can you please recommend good Estate where one can see a mini flat (not shared apartment) between lekki phase1 to Lagos Business School that's doesn't flood when raining. Emmm you might need to ask some of all these housing agents , since it's their job they would have multiple options for you. But you can still get some nice ones also beyond Lagos business school towards Sangotedo side. I stay at Alasis just opposite Lagos business school. Secondly , you might also consider MARYLAND which is on the mainland. It has good roads , constant light and security too. |

Nairaland General › Re: Mention One Mistake You Made That Cost You Alot In Life. by lordally(m): 10:10pm On Dec 17, 2021 |
Tzar: The red flags for me may not be for you. Every individual has different tolerance to these things. For me, below are the things I experienced but overlooked 1. Her mum was an aggressive, possessive, once divorced drunk. She wasn’t any of those while we dated, so I felt I can’t judge her by her mum. I was wrong, she ended up making most of the same mistakes her mum made. If you want a snapshot of how you fiancée will turn out as a wife, check the mum. This is accurate 60-70% of the time. I didn’t believe it until it happened to me. 2. Never rush into marriage just because a woman got pregnant for you. She can keep the baby if you want, take care of the child, but never let it be a yardstick for marriage. Immediately she got pregnant, I rushed into marriage thinking that was the best response, it was not. 3. Watch her relationship with your family dispassionately. She always avoided my family while we dated, especially my mum & sisters. She ended up making them enemies throughout our marriage. 4. I never saw her being homely and domestic in their home, but she was like a cleaning machine in my house. All na wash! When we got married, I realized I married a lazy and dirty woman who expects a housemaid to do everything. 5. I always caught her with small lies while we dated. Those lies became huge unforgivable lies in marriage. 6. While I did everything to make her comfortable while dating, she NEVER spent a kobo on me. I was ok with that until I had financial challenges in marriage. She never worked & I was giving a pocket money from where she saved money that ran into over 200k. While I was crying on how to raise 50k for feeding the home she hid this savings from me until I found out. NEVER MARRY A WOMAN WHO IS NOT FINANCIALLY COMMITTED TO YOU. 7. She and her mum were always physically fighting her step siblings. She wanted to bring all that into our marriage. She even begged me to beat her up once saying it strengthens love, can you imagine? Any girl that got close to me then will get into a brawl with her behind my back. After two slaps from her in marriage & many other things she did that you can only see in nollywood movies, I divorced her ass before she made me a murderer. He who has ear....let him hear!! |

LIVINGICON: Okay let us assume your girl friend has not cheated on you( which i find it very hard to believe though) for crying out loud, this is only normal "hanging out together". Even if her end goal is for you to bang her, u can simply refuse to have sex with her. Bro believe it or not, not all girls and guys cheat!! I've been lucky to have dated 3 girls of such! Instead of them to cheat on you , they'll break up with you... Bro people with prestige still exist! |

Jayzel: My gf can never cheat on me i trust her more than i trust myself. U won't understand me bro Our relationship has been a solid one up~till date Bro see I'm going to be real with you!! Cos I currently have a GF I've been with for 4yrs now. See bro, to get good girl no easy for this country ...so if you happen to get one you're blessed ... I would advice you make wise moves in letting that UBA girl know that you're not single!! If she calls you "Baby" you can jokingly tell her that " ahh abeg ooo no call me baby ooo cos if my GF was here she go scatter everywhere ooo" she would get the message .... Then as regards the outing , you can go out with her but make sure where she plans taking you to is an Open place! And during the outing open up to her about how cool your relationship has been...make she get the direct picture say you get good and loyal babe..Then please make sure you pay the bills... Cos i must admit that there's absolutely nothing wrong in a girl shooting her shot, let's forget wether she's attracted by the money you deposit or not. Lastly bro , stick to your good GF no matter what cos the new girl who you think is amazing might turn out bad tomorrow but at least you've known your GF for a long long time ... cos at the end of the day , what a man/woman needs is Peace Of Mind and your GF gives you that in Abundance!! Don't leave that girl!! |

teewhydope: for a mobile dev, learn dart(flutter) first, it's very easy...you can easily move to languages like kotlin, java and swift after this
for a web dev, start with javascript and then it's frameworks if u want to go the JS route...or rather PHP
for datascience/ML, start with python and then end with R language
Python is not that easy as people hype it, has a lot of weird syntax. Bro , both you and the 4 persons that liked your comment and the 2 Persons that Shared it are in Urgent need of medical attention at any hospitals Intensive Care Unit. WTF!! |
