PoliticsRe: IPOB Autopilot Reacts To The BBC Article About Biafra by Luchitec(m): 8:01am On Jan 11, 2023
Simon Ekpa is delusional. I don't blame him for feeding fat on the ignorance and stupidity of some of my Igbo brothers/sisters, but setting the whole southeast on fire is where he is pushing his luck too far.
mycar:
The Guy is a sponsored fool, All these while Nnamdi Kanu is been in the prison, what has he done to get him out, No election in Igbo land, and he thinks that will stop the net government from emerging?
APC government is using him. he said that peter obi supported IPOB under ojuku wheras Ojukwu contested for election and also stated that biafran case is dead and buried, hence the then president Goodluck Jonathan gave him a state burial under Peter Obi.

Nobody takes him serious
CrimeRe: Man Accused Of Killing His Wife Over Bread Reacts To Allegations by Luchitec(m): 7:29pm On Jan 10, 2023
The death of this lady is quite unfortunate, and the husband apparently has an anger management issue. However, the way bloggers are feasting on this incident is so sad.

It seems the late Ogochukwu had a pre-existing health condition (see the link below for the referral letter from the Niger Foundation Hospital) that is largely responsible for her death.

https://www.bbc.com/pidgin/articles/clmz4yjx3jeo

Nonetheless, her husband by physically assaulting her in the past should quietly bear his cross, and seek restitution with his children and in-laws.

Lee99:
Very unfortunate event, I always tell guys, don't listen to the words of a woman that is pissed off lest you want to kill her, always ignore, had he walked away she'd still be alive and they'd have continued with their dysfunctional marriage, tough titties for the man, if he gets a good lawyer tho he can bag manslaughter and be out with 2-3 years

You are very correct sir; religion is not really the reason for the poor leadership we have in Nigeria.

Buhari doesn't represent Islam neither does Tinubu or even Atiku.
They all represent their self-interest.
I am a Muslim and I prefer Jonathan's regime than Buhari's government.
Please keep religion out of this
PoliticsRe: Buhari Indifference To Tinubu Campaign Is Treacherous by Luchitec(m): 5:07am On Jan 04, 2023
Many politicians are self-centered, but Buhari detachment from the events happening around him is unprecedented in the history of Nigerian politics. I doubt if his family members could count on him showing up when it matters most.

PoliticsRe: Lagos Versus Anambra Under Tinubu And Obi; A Comparative Analysis by Luchitec(m): 8:55am On Dec 29, 2022
Please, stop misleading the public! There is a difference between state and local government allocation; the latter was withheld by OBJ.
leisuretym:
Lagos didn’t receive federal allowance or allocation throughout the tenure of Tinubu but Tinubu did well, no state can do that in Nigeria apart from some few oil producing states

Obasanjo intentionally withheld Lagos state allocation because he wanted them to port to PDP and support him but instead Tinubu created LCDAs and generated fund for all his projects internally , he made every LCDA self sufficient and they were remitting little to the center , which is what Nigeria need today, every Local government should generate income with their resources and be independent

Cons and Pros

His approach would have been superb if well monitor and regulated with do and dont instructions to his men on the field.
It’s the excessive of their activities that resulted in huge numbers of agberos in Lagos today.
Everybody want to collect money for government, it was only ambode that properly regulated the process and reduce agberos but they revolted against him and kick him out.
PoliticsRe: 2023: Unless I Die, Atiku Will Handover To Soludo - Arthur Eze (video) by Luchitec(m): 6:27am On Dec 28, 2022
It's quite apparent that Arthur Eze has zero political sense. No wonder he keeps failing in his bid to install one of his lackeys as the Anambra State governor every election cycle. At this stage of his life, Eze n'Ukpo should take it easy, otherwise umu-azi will take him to the cleaners grin
festacman:
By boldly making this statement, Arthur Eze has proven himself to be politically ignorant.

4 years are a looooong time in politics. PDP is not anybody's property nowadays. Even Tinubu had to fight like a wounded lion and shouted himself hoarse with "emilokan" before getting his ticket in spite of 'promises and agreements'
PoliticsRe: I Am Obedient, I Agree With With Thisday About Obi’s Nonexistent In Nw & Ne. by Luchitec(m): 6:01am On Dec 28, 2022
These guys with their jejune permutations are jokers! It’s quite surprising that up till now, some people are yet to understand why many Igbo people, irrespective of the state of origin are rooting for Peter Obi. First, folks like me, who are not from Anambra State are enamored by his accomplishments as a governor. Heck, Peter Obi, single-handedly changed the political trajectory of Anambra State! Secondly, Peter obi’s lifestyle that is devoid of the usual razzmatazz associated with an average Igbo (Nigerian) politician is a breath of fresh air. I can go on and on… The overwhelming support Peter Obi will receive from the southeast will shock many people.

tungamaje:
You seem not to know Igbo people very well. Do you think any governor or politician can control or direct people on who to vote like maloo? Forget any politician delivering' for anybody. People are rooting for Obi in Igboland because he is better than others. So forget about Nnamani, Igbos won't mind him. They are only eating Tinubu
PoliticsRe: Do You Believe Kwankwaso Is Doing 10/15% In Southwest States? by Luchitec(m): 5:11am On Dec 28, 2022
It's very obvious that Thisday is trying very hard to achieve two things with their fake 2023 presidential election projection; (1) Discourage the Obidients; (2) Give a glimmer of hope to the Atikulators. Nonetheless, this is generally an exercise in futility.

PoliticsRe: The Professor Of Everything That Knows Nothing. by Luchitec(m): 8:39am On Nov 21, 2022
Prof. Soludo seems more like a first-class con man shocked. By the time this brouhaha dies down, his reputation is going to take a serious hit. See the link to the recent article about Prof. Soludo by Sonala Olumhense below. I was shocked and speechless. Indeed, Nigeria is a huge crime scene.

https://punchng.com/when-the-anambra-governor-speaks/

AsomughaChuks05:
It is really paining some people that Governor Soludo is a first class Professor while Peter Obi is a third class trader who is going to lose the election like Soludo predicted thereby solidifying Soludo's reputation.

PoliticsRe: Peter Obi: "Soludo Is A Betrayer Of The Igbo Nation" - Prof. Osuji by Luchitec(m): 8:36pm On Nov 16, 2022
There is no doubt that Prof Soludo is a very intelligent man, but he is so self-conceited. Prof. Soludo will gain nothing but ridicule from strutting around with the “I am smarter than my peers” attitude. The path he is treading now is what cost him second tenure at the CBN. Will Prof. Soludo allow lightening to strike twice? Time will tell.
festacman:

PoliticsRe: Did Poverty In Anambra Rise While Peter Obi Was Governor? - Fact Check by Luchitec(m): 9:13am On Nov 16, 2022
This guy is the most unscrupulous moderator I have ever seen here. Jeez! He should provide data for all the states so that we can make an informed performance analysis. Even with what he presented, you can see that compared to the huge revenue-receiving states, the absolute poverty index for Anambra is not as bad as Soludo was projecting.
Felabrity:
there are 14 states from the list he posted, 7 of them have a higher percentage than Anambra

He didn't even share the full 36 state stats
PoliticsRe: 2015 Exchange Between Professor Chukwuma Soludo And Peter Obi by Luchitec(m): 8:25am On Nov 15, 2022
I am not really gobsmacked by Soludo’s present utterances. Prof. is an intelligent, but arrogant fellow. If I remember correctly, circa 2014-2015, Prof. Soludo was criticizing people left and right, including Dr. Okonjo-Iwuala. Prof. Soludo should tread softly, a few months from now, his accomplishment or otherwise as the Governor of Anambra State would be under serious scrutiny.
Macphenson:
Soludo that is yet to build a single road is making noise.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Will Explore Nuclear Energy To Generate Electricity by Luchitec(m): 8:34am On Nov 08, 2022
This poster is unbelievable, I kept shaking my head while reading his posts. The idea of Nigeria generating electricity from nuclear reactors is nothing but an epic delusion. Can you imagine that no nuclear power plant exists in the whole of Western Canada? Why, one might ask? Nuclear power plants are prohibited in some of the provinces in Western Canada because they are damn too risky to manage. Secondly, it is way cheaper and safer to generate electricity from hydro (dams)!

It's hilarious that the Nigerian government that lacks efficient solid waste management plan for major cities in the country is thinking of nuclear power plants shocked These folks in government should realize that managing liquid waste and spent fuel rods from nuclear plants is no small task. By the way, do Nigeria have mines for the nuclear fuel (Uranium)?

PoliticsRe: EFCC Arraigns Ex-Lagos Attorney-General, Shasore For Alleged $100,000 Fraud by Luchitec(m): 6:29pm On Oct 20, 2022

Eryyy92:
What an irony..a serious and intelligent Igbo lawyer in Lagos grew to a judge in a yorouba land..while the other yorouba lawyer still in Lagos grew into a fraudster. Now the landlord fraudster lawyer is appearing before the intelligent Igbo judge.
What this simply means is that no matter where the Igbo find themselves, they would surely dominate and develope the place.
Tinubu urchins can say otherwise but I don't care.

Trying to defend the indefensible, some of these guys are unbelievable. The truth is that the effects of climate change have no boundary. In fact, relative to developed countries with huge resources at their disposal, developing countries should start incorporating climate change mitigating measures in national plans and policies.

Foreign AffairsRe: Convoy Transporting Equipment For Russia's Nuclear Forces On The Move (pictures) by Luchitec(m): 6:47pm On Oct 03, 2022
What you wrote is actually incorrect. By the time the two Japanese cities were nuked, the Japs were 95% vanquished (by the US forces in and outside Japan and Russian forces in Manchuria, China). However, given the strong Samurai belief of the Japanese soldiers, they refused to surrender despite the fact that Japan has lost almost everything. So, to bring the war to an immediate closure, President Truman decided to use the nuke. Was it the best decision? I don't think so. Many innocent civilians lost their lives for nothing.

PoliticsRe: Alleged Organ Trafficking: Ekweremadu, Wife Risk Long Jail Term If Convicted by Luchitec(m): 5:39am On Jun 26, 2022
IF the error-ridden syntax in your post reflects your educational pedigree, then I give up. This is because you’re not in a position to criticize anybody. Imagine the pot calling the kettle black! Analogous to your argument, it is expected that a person with “an academic pedigree” should be mindful of their written communication, irrespective of the formality or informality of the setting.

Moreover, your feeble attempt to link English language skills with the acquisition of a PhD degree or academic excellence is too pedestrian to warrant a detailed response. For your information, while a good, written communication skill is desirable, there are still some engineering professors/graduates with limited capabilities. Will this detract from their accomplishments? Nope.

casualobserver:
I said to you earlier on I am wasting my time as you clearly lack what it takes to understand what I am saying. One look at Peter Obi’s letters and you will see the flaws. If you can’t it because you are equally as deficient. If Peter Obi had the required fundamental education, he would have spotted the errors and not append his signature to poorly worded and formatted letters time and time again, irrespective of whether they were written on his behalf or not…..he signed them. It shows he (and clearly you) know no better.

As for pedigree, pedigree is not always about family background. Pedigree could be about the provenance of your family, education, social status, professional life etc. that you do not understand this agains is a reflection on you. The word pedigree depends on the context.

Like I said if you know, you know. I will not waste any further time with your sort. A well educated man should know for example, you do not end a letter with “yours sincerely” or “sincerely” except the salutation is personal e.g Dear John. There are at least 5 other basic flaws in Peter Obi’s letters that speak to his pedigree or lack thereof. That is evidence of man who lacks the pedigree and surrounds himself with people who are equally lacking and therefore cannot point out the flaws. For a man of his status that is unforgivable. Mistakes are allowable on social media, my posts on Nairaland are full of mistakes, often I am aware there are grammatical or syntax errors but this is an informal medium. However you do not allow mistakes on official communications as it is a reflection on you. It is no surprise he came out with a pass degree. This is what separates a man with a Ph.D…..such basic flaws would have been drilled out of you by the time you obtain a Ph.D. That is an example of what pedigree means in this context. Pedigree is not about the home you came out of. A man from a disadvantaged background can attain a good educational pedigree but there are many examples of people from wealthy backgrounds with poor educational pedigree. Some things especially those that should have been ingrained at an early age, are not easily overcome simply because you have money, if anything money and success only highlights such inadequacies.
