Foreign AffairsRe: Donald Trump: "A Parade For Me In Nigeria, A Great Honor!" by Luchitec(m): 7:41pm On Nov 03, 2020
What manner of stupid parade is this? Despite the huge number of problems facing the country, some folks still had time to parade for a guy thousands of kilometers away. A guy that doesn't really give a shit about them. Silly people!

Foreign AffairsRe: Jill and Joe Biden Test Negative For COVID-19. by Luchitec(m): 10:53pm On Oct 02, 2020
Contracting COVID-19 has nothing to do with belief in "the" science. Despite all precautions, people and medics all over the world still contract the virus. Just pray that none of your family members or colleagues you routinely interact with get infected. Infected close associates is the easiest way to contract the virus.

Foreign AffairsRe: Jill and Joe Biden Test Negative For COVID-19. by Luchitec(m): 10:43pm On Oct 02, 2020
On paper, Joe Biden is the lesser evil. However, the fact that his former boss (Obama) refused to support him as his successor in 2016 speaks volume about Biden's capabilities. Even the belated Obama's endorsement of him in 2020 says a lot too.
Heromaniaa:
Trump is like the devil you know. He has done his worse. He's blunt, no tactical diplomacy. Biden, in contrast, is the devil you don't know. A pretender who says the right things at the right occasion to be in people's good book. Time will tell.

Any American that lost his/her life by following Trump's COVID-19 silly utterances and actions is simply foolish. Information about COVID-19 deaths and infection rates are out there for everybody to see. So, people who chose to ignore them does so at their peril.

PoliticsRe: I Forsee The APC Winning Abia State by Luchitec(m): 5:50am On Sep 22, 2020
Orji Uzo Kalu a changed man? Impossible. A leopard never changes its spots. There is no doubt that Alex Oti is a good man, but his hobnobbing with Orji Uzor Kalu will be his albatros in 2023. By the way, the tussle between Alex Oti and Uche Ogah for the APC gubernatorial ticket would be epic.
UdechiHD:
Orji Uzor Kalu is a changed man. The mistake he made by bringing Theodore Orji is still haunting him till today. He now wants to correct all his wrongs, and backing Alex Otti for Governor is the right step in the right direction.

By pushing for Alex Otti a former Diamond Bank MD shows he want the greatness of Abia state. And again, Alex Otti isn’t a man you can push around easily. Joining the APC was a strategic move and a lot of Abians welcome it.

PoliticsRe: My Opinion About A Yoruba As A Tribe. by Luchitec(m): 3:22am On Sep 19, 2020
Nwa nna, it's comment like this that exasperates some non-Igbo people. In every tribe, you will observe that while a few bad eggs do exist, majority are good people. Even if Nigeria splinters into Biafra, Oduduwa Republic and etc in the future, the Igbos would still need to commingle with the Yoruba, the Hausa and the others. The reality is that your utopian Biafra nation cannot survive as an isolated island.
kingzizzy:
As an Igbo man, I can say that it will be a great blessing when we Igbos dont have to share one country with Yorubas any more. Igbos and Yorubas hardly knew each other before the British came to 'rope' them both together into a colonial project called 'Nigeria'

So Im hoping we will all be 'unroped' very soon. It will be a blessing not to share the same country with Yorubas, same goes for Hausa/Fulani

PoliticsRe: Ex-Government Officials Spent P&ID Bribes On Wedding, Medical Trips by Luchitec(m): 7:02pm On Sep 06, 2020
There is no argument that the PDP is culpable for allowing the P&ID malfeasance to occur under the party's watch. However, the real elephant in the room is the NNPC and the fat cows working there. The NNPC is still running a humongous level of scam (fuel importation) in the present government.

PoliticsRe: How Osinbajo Detected P&ID Fraud Against Nigeria - UK Judge Explains by Luchitec(m): 3:08am On Sep 06, 2020
You are quite correct. According to the current AGF, the late Minister of Petroleum (Rilwanu Lukman) played a key role in the fraudulent P&ID contract. That was the last major contract Rilwanu Lukman approved before the cabinet was eventually dissolved by Goodluck Jonathan.
Mayflowa:
But it wasn't Jonathan that signed the contract even while he was acting president for the ill-Yaradua. There were government cartel led by Yaradua's wife that seize hold of the nation at the time
PoliticsRe: How Osinbajo Detected P&ID Fraud Against Nigeria - UK Judge Explains by Luchitec(m): 2:07am On Sep 06, 2020
Thanks but no thanks. Prof Osinbajo’s public utterance/opinion had no influence on the court case. Court decisions all over the world are based on evidence/proven facts, and not hearsay. The comment attributed to Justice Ross Cranston is the Nation’s spin. See the links below for the “heroes” and “villains” in the case.

https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/412430-pid-scandal-how-nigeria-secured-major-victory-in-uk-court.html

https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2020/09/05/buhari-deals-fatal-blow-to-pid-court-says-case-of-fraud-proven/

In as much as I think that the current Attorney General of the Federation is corrupt, the credit for the present relief belong to the Attorney General’s Office. The brazen attempt by the Nation newspaper to divert attention from the main villain in the mess, Mr. Supo Shasore, a former Attorney-General of Lagos State is very laughable.

Minjim:
Let me help

Sir Ross Cranston of the UK High Court of Justice Queen’s Bench Division Commercial Court explained that the vice president was a regular fixture all through the review process.

Cranston noted that Osinbajo's "fraud on the nation” statement in June of 2018 worked in Nigeria's favour.
PoliticsRe: How Osinbajo Detected P&ID Fraud Against Nigeria - UK Judge Explains by Luchitec(m): 11:02pm On Sep 05, 2020
I have gone through the article again and again, and I can't find any attribution from the judge or the court directly asserting that Prof. Osinbajo played any role in the court proceedings. So, I am kinda at a loss on how the Nation came up with the sensational headline that the learned Prof helped get Nigeria the temporary reprieve. Nonetheless, the owner of the P&ID is a well-known briefcase contractor with questionable antecedents. I hope the case will eventually end in Nigeria's favor.

olisaEze:
For ur mind now, you’ve said something smart. Where in that write up did you see that a British judge made his judgement based on an article or comment by Osinbajo?
For your info, that deal was signed by the late President Musa Yar’Adua who was a personal friend of the owner of P&ID Michael Quinn. If you were not so much in a hurry to abuse your betters, you’d have researched further to know that the same Michael Quinn has scammed the Nigerian Airforce in 2001 in the same manner as he attempted this. So if anyone is a buffoon at all, it is Yar’Adua that still gave his friend an opportunity to scam you, knowing people like you would be quick to blame anyone else but the real culprits out of tribal hate.

PoliticsRe: Enugu Airport Demolition: Ugwuanyi Never Threatened To Harm Emejulu - Paul Eze by Luchitec(m): 6:12am On Aug 26, 2020
Who gives a shit about your time! In my opinion, Gov Ugwuanyi is the least performing Chief Executive the state has ever had. So, keep your snide remark to yourself. You think you can just come to a public forum and make an unsubstantiated statement and go unchallenged. Land is a precious asset anywhere, hence cases of disagreements will always spring up here and there. That said, baseless stereotyping without verifiable evidence as you just did is not just lame, it smacks of epic ignorance.
Margy:
Please please i don't have your time! Are you Gov Ugwuanyi media aide??

Do you live in Enugu? Every where, every community even streets drag land! Any bare land you see is bare because they are dragging it. I say what i say... Enugu in the whole southeast and southsouth is the highest in dragging land
PoliticsRe: Enugu Airport Demolition: Ugwuanyi Never Threatened To Harm Emejulu - Paul Eze by Luchitec(m): 6:00am On Aug 26, 2020
If the land rightly belongs to him, Arc. Emejulu should continue fighting via the courts. That's the only option available to him at the moment.
PoliticsRe: Enugu Airport Demolition: Ugwuanyi Never Threatened To Harm Emejulu - Paul Eze by Luchitec(m): 5:50am On Aug 26, 2020
Enugu State loves to drag land? What’s the basis of this assertion? How many Enugu people have you met or how many communities/towns in Enugu State have you seen dragging land? For your submission to make sense, the land dispute should have been between Arc. Emejulu and the community that sold the land ab initio to him. Please, travel to Ukpo and Abba towns in Anambra State to see what communal land tussle looks like.

Margy:
why do I believe Arc Emejulu is saying the truth?

if you've been to Enugu state, you will know that they like to drag land. one piece of land can be dragged by 20persons and a community!

they value land like their lives depend on it.

just look at the Governor dragging land too... tomorrow he will tell us Enugu is in the hands of God!

Foreign AffairsRe: Joe Biden Picks Senator Kamala Harris as VP by Luchitec(m): 6:48pm On Aug 12, 2020
In terms of the economy I will give him a pass. This is because despite the COVID-19 meltdown, the stock market did not tank as most naysayers predicted. Funny enough, the media aren’t reporting this. They are only interested in the death numbers and infection rate. Glossing over the fact that some Americans who refused to obey simple, common sense instructions are also contributing to the ongoing COVID-19 spread. I wish all the aspirants the best of luck in November.

abbey621:
Trump has delivered on 75% of what he campaigned on, this is what truly matters. If leaders like Obama did the same there would be no Trump! You can't campaign to cater for Northerners and when elected still be accused of neglecting Southerners, Trump catered to his base, he promised businesses tax cuts and promised to cripple Obamacare. If not for Covid 19, we would be praising him for the economic masterpiece and before anyone bashes him, I dare you to show me financial investments, 401k , taxes etc that have become worse under Trump. When you cut out the noise, the medis frenzy and focus just on economic numbers, this guy is one of the best presidents the country has ever had....PERIOD!

Bros, I have no dog in who the Americans chose as their president. Nonetheless, there is no gainsaying the fact that Donald Trump is a manchild, a complete MAGA jester that has no business presiding over the affairs of a country like the US grin grin shocked. And before you accuse me of being a lefty, I will make a full disclosure; I am typically center-right in my political leaning.

abbey621:
Ha...I see another person that thinks only those that are daft or racially prejudiced voted for Trump......that's just plain silly! Trump did not mishandled Covid 19, the American people did. In December and January, CDC and WHO operated on half truths, they still believed the lies coming out of China and unfortunately Trump relied on that information. By February when trump had more information and wanted to shutdown the entire economy, many Americans and politicians criticized him, by March when everyone knew the truth, guess what happened? The country was shutdown! It is easy to bash Trump based on media sensation and exaggeration but the truth is this, the American way of life and entitled, spoiled way of life is responsible for the country's high number of Covid cases, even if a master orator like Obama was in charge, the cases would still be high because Americans love their beaches, their clubs, their Red Lobster and of course their FREEDOM!
Foreign AffairsRe: Joe Biden Picks Senator Kamala Harris as VP by Luchitec(m): 5:32am On Aug 12, 2020
With Trump’s mishandling of COVID-19, the most sensible thing for Americans to do is to vote him out. However, given that some Americans are either plain daft or racially prejudiced, anything can happen in November.

abbey621:
I'm a Trump supporter but I must admit he's going to lose this election, the obstacles are way too much and with Biden's choice for VP, it's a lock! No U.S president can overcome a disaster like Covid 19 during election year and then to top it all off, a racial unrest at the same time.
