etunoman76: I have a couple there@Kuje and other areas here in Abuja if u are still interested. Thank u!. Give your brief here, the affordable ones, prices, titles, locations, plot sizes etc. |
uhuns: Ho I have read alot of your mails on this and other thread .. My friend don't say what you don't know. Do Spyder and Brabus build in every Nigerian City? Not everyone is from Lagos/Ogun or the East. Because there might be some good people out there, I should not mention my bad experience? I couldn't care less about that. You think all those politicians who keep stealing our money are poor? Who told you that my builder is a poor person? I can see how poor Nigerian education has become. A greedy dishonest person can be a rich person. I have built houses for 20 years, I am not a novice in it. |
With boko bombing schools, many up north would not risk it. Then poverty and family break down. |
etunoman76: Police in Utah say a St. George man charged with raping his unconscious neighbor claimed he put his penis inside her to "save her life."Nothing person no go hear fa. |
LondonCool: I bought it through a staff of AGIS for N700k. Thanks LondonCool, Are there still some of it available? Maybe we could have a Londoners' neighbourhood there. Lol. |
Bliss4Lyfe: All this people going abroad to disgrace Nigeria sha. RIP!. Those women go abroad to maximise their returns! That's being professional. A large number of Naija women have several boyfriends. Different boyfriends catering for seperate economic needs. What's the difference? |
No, we don't have a country. We just have a geographical location called Nigeria.
Oh I didn't see this comment before I posted the one above. I didn't know you took the word out of my mouth already. |
Why are you angry with me? . I only pointe out that judgement was passed on the victim and no one seemed to realize that the lady in question, no matter how questionable her character was, is actually a VICTIM of a Murderer. Everyone was like--> ashawo this ashawo that etc but even ashawos are human beings too and are included in the fundamental human rights including the right to life, which has just been violated by a criminal and such violation of the right to life should, ipso facto, be of greater concern to rational citizens ![]() In summary, she be victim. Killer don kill am, e no good.
. Pre-select, Most have already concluded that the lady would not be their tribeswoman. There is no Nigeria, only a place full of tribalists and tribal enclaves! |
sheftyxz:. And none of those reasons are good! Is anybody more qualified than Ngozi, madam due process, Dora, FIRS lady/Ifueko etc? If Ngozi is now prime minister (de facto) why not kukuma make her president? |
crisycent: I thought that guy was suppose to console the grieving girl? Why was he robbing her bobby?. Dirty mind! Rubbing someone can be soothing thing. Like rubbing the head of a crying child. |
fados4sure: My friend, stop spreading rumour... That incidence happened in Bilbao in Spain not in Italy. You clearly know nothing about the Italian world or the language, police uniform and names/words written everywhere would tell you it's Italy. |
life is wicked |
I second Ajibel. Get into your state house of Assembly first. Do well there. |

LondonCool: I have a 30m x30m plot of land at Abuja (Kuje), does anyone have a rough estimate of how much it would cost to secure te perimeter of the plot wilth a wall (Including gate and coping) ?. Mr LC, how did you buy the land? Through an agent or through friends/family? How much is a plot going for in the area of Kuje you bought yours. Sorry I don't have any info about what you asked. |
Great. Mods front page please! Not only "Nigerian Woman caught Smuggling Powder (Taba) at Heathrow" should make front page. |
amarilo: This your bamboo cheap ooh, bought some yesterday for 340. Building from abroad is anoying sometimes. everybody want to feed from you even close friends and family.very annoying o. But what can you do if you are too busy to travel? Visit my thread on this topic below: https://www.nairaland.com/1263958/whats-best-way-build-house |
If it can fly for 130k and you can organise taking it to Benin-City after payment, let me know. |

It takes a lot for a married woman to have sex with other men. Except she never loved the man anyway. Fear of shame if caught etc. Women have more emotional attachment to sex. A man can get hard on for nothing. A woman who cheats can easily connive with her lover to kill her husband, especially if the man is rich. One major ground for divorce in the bible is adultery. I cannot forgive adultery. At least not to forgive and continue together. Maybe years later when we have long gone our seperate ways, I can forgive. |
ogugua88: No. I'm convinced that whatever knowledge Nigerians have of the US, especially in the village, is that people go abroad and pick money from money trees. A very bad preconceived notion of "everyone who is abroad is wealthy". I'll speak for myself. When we went home, our relatives, particularly those in the village, literally folded their hands and made us do and pay for everything. No hospitality; we stayed in a hotel. There was never any food. If we were lucky, we'd eat twice a day: breakfast at the hotel, and then a snack very late at night, at the hotel. If there was food at my grandfather's compound, it was paid for by my parents and prepared by us. Anything and everything, they demanded that we pay for it. The only person that had her arms open for us was my dad's distant cousin. His siblings got jealous, put their heads together and got four chickens for us to use to cook ofe akwu.. My Dear, no be small thing oo. My experience during a funeral a few years back completely changed my view of relatives back home. After I and another relative abroad already sent the lion share of estimated cost, those at home didn't contribute their token share. I ended up requesting money from people abroad (while I was in Naija for the burial) and that was after spending the extra money I went with after just a week. My impression before leaving was that all the money was already there (we had sent ours before hand from diaspora). They expanded the whole funeral plans expecting that I was coming with a bullion van full of money. After all this, a family member stood up and said that "these days, only those in diaspora pay for funeral, those in Naija don't contribute". I will loath that man for life. |
userlist: Always wanting people to come back home so that. Lol |
Amya: Lol. The Nigerians in diaspora who visit the country during festive seasons are the one that spoilt it for you. They way they flash dollars and want to live up to the image that American dollars grow on trees, who's to say people won't milk it.. It's a lie. People just show a bit of generosity when on holiday. Remember most work and work, no time for fun in diaspora so letting your hair down a bit on hols is not "showing off". The fact is if a person who had no good job goes to say Germany and returns 3 years later with an SUV, the perception is that "that poor chimezie of yeseterday is now rich". |
Billyonaire: Home? People still live abroad ? No comfortable Nigerian lives abroad.. Well with less than 10% comfortable enough to use generator for 24 hours, provide basic amenities for themselves, build high enough security fences, hire police as private security, send thir wards to good schools abroad, travel abroad for medical treatment PLUS widespread fear of armed robbers, Boko, Mbatse, no wonder embassies in Nigeria are full including Ukraine embassy. The 40 laptop brigade should tell their financiers that the vast majority of Nigerians are not comfortable. Millions depend on the $20 billion from diaspora annually for school fees, food, clothing, medication/healthcare, funeral, fuel for I-better-pass-my-neighbour gen sets etc. |
If anybody has been duped by those abroad, let them start a thread and we are more than ready to read it. If you are honest, there will be people to vouch for you because of your many good works. If you're a crook, you can keep complaining about NL lawyer! @Lawyer more grease to your elbow. I asked this house building from abroad question in a thread a few weaks ago. https://www.nairaland.com/1263958/whats-best-way-build-house Some people are really wicked. A "trusted" person in Naija inflated labour costs by up to 60%, surface area measurement for tiling by up to 400%! When we finally realised it and monitored him to discover his bare face lies and scam, he quit by suddenly bringing a fight. In one single work phase, he managed to inlude about unnecessary 200,000k! A house that should cost about 10m was on course to cost 20m or more! Incredible. I have a job in which my contribution is valued and I enjoy doing it (money is not everything). So coming home for long periods is difficult. People have cheated out of huge amounts over the years. Shameful. |
iwanchop: Could you please explain what u mean by high standard?. In Naija people fight over everything: pharmacists fight dokita, civil engineer fight architect etc. If polytechnics did their job prperly, and govt got industrialisation going well, HNDs would be technical staff in car, metallurgical and other industrial areas. University would produce more academically-orientated staff: lawyers, vets, historians etc. But right now, everyone is chasing banking and oil jobs. German industries rely on people trained in their "fachhochschulen", roughly equivalent to polytechnics/University of Applied sciences/arts and their economy has done wll for over 60 years! They can even award MSc/MA. It is lack of job that is causing the bruhaha. |
aminho: Am glad only 3 in northern Nigeria. Fear of Boko is the beginning of wisdom in the North, so university biz doesn't sell over there. People set up shop (legal & illegal) where there's demand. ![]() |
If you behave responsibly chances are parents will be proud of you and respect your decisions. |
Chilax! Don't be desperate because men can smell it miles away. |
