In the account, father is called aba in Ondo Town's account abà-abá. If you havent, then ask for the link, which I will gladly share with you.

Guess what ? Aba or Abba is known as Aramaic -Hebrew word which was and still used by Christianity, Judaism ,which means, "Father"; religious superior; in the Syriac, Coptic, and Ethiopic churches, a title given to the bishops, and by the bishops to the patriarch; a title given to Jewish scholars in the Talmudic period.

The questions that need bother you people ought be, did Yoruba loaned all her language from foreigners ?

Early this year, I saw a report conducted to ascertain the claim or otherwise of Igbos having a Jewish link by a Jewish Channel championed by the renowned Jewish researcher- Jonathan Bernis, at the end of the research which sent series of Jewish researchers and DNA experts to Igbo land, this claim was flatly debunked. It was scientifically proven by DNA experts that they share no genetic filial relations.

Why is this claim always resurfacing? Of what benefit is it having a prehistoric genealogical relationship with the Jews?

The point you still goofed again and again !!! Plainly, I only point to the direction you have erred on some of your best authored books, which you reference such as Professor Banji Akintoye, who also relied on Ryder etc claiming Niger Benue confluence as the origin of Yoruba people.

Apart from this, you also have erred on diacritics , over and over again even the "igba" you accented still has a flaw. Seek it out.

Don't link fornication to christianity.
Christian simply refers to those that follow Christ and its teaching. It is true that the bible in the old testament do accept polygamy etc through the laws that moses wrote with inspiration from God.
Since Christian die for our sins, before he died he changes some of the law of moses (old laws) and align with his teaching which any1 who want to follow his teaching and His likeness are call Christian.
Going to church or coming from a state that is dominated by churches does not makes me a christian.
Church is a place where people go and give thanks to God just like David, solomon etc use to do in temples.
Before Christ came to die for our sins, there were temple.
A christian is a person who denounce worldly thing, become born again via baptism and follow Christ and behave alike and do what Christ teaches. Bible contain God laws before/after Christ.
One man one wife has nothing to do with christ
Nowhere in your Bible can you find that

Monogamy has always been the culture of Europeans, especially in Rome and Greece.
It's that culture that entered into the Jewish sect that became Christianity in Europe

Ologbo is cognate for Yeai group of languages for cat, not everything was borrowed igbos have it too, cat is one of the oldest animal on earth, if Edo don't have it then she is probably not a member of the Yeai group of languages

This is the way, it is pronounced in Benin Ologbose with the E facing down like in Ene and with a stretch, Just like in Iyase, that "Se" there is just to emphasize the other word properly "Iyase-na me try pass" then in the case of "Ologbose" it is stressing the size of the "Ologbo" meaning cat in Essense with Ologbose it is big cat or leopard as he has said Ultimately meaning an Henchman, a backbone someone who can be seen as not so obvious but all the same so powerful
Good submission but the problem I see here as to why it is likely not a shared proto-YEAI is that "Ológbò" (as it is in Yorùbá) looks very much like a contraction of Oní Ogbò. And it is "Onogbo" in Urhobo. Ẹlẹ́dẹ̀ is another animal name that looks like such a contraction.. I will even add "Ẹlẹ́yẹ" although nowadays it is simply "ẹyẹ".. Establishing that it is not rare to name animals like this in Yoruba
Not even in Igala are these animal names present including "Ologbo", in Igala it is "Obala" which may be cognate with another Igbo word for cat "Nwobili"

Also for clarity's sake isn't it "Iyasẹ" or "Iyasẹrẹ" and "Ologboṣere" because I didn't quite understand your explanation on the pronunciation there

Although I'm not saying the title of "Ologboṣere" is originally used by Yorubas, that I don't know yet, I will still learn more. But what I'm suggesting is that the word is Yorùbá language.

Legends and fairytales are abound in most cultures including European cultures. The difference is some cultures don't try to present the legends as historical facts. The Yoruba in most cases want everyone to believe their fairytales, myths, legends and fables as historical facts.

The photo of the Ooni of Ife claiming that the 4th Ooni lived for 400 years before becoming a deity is being presented as historical fact.

Give it a rest and allow those that felt beaten lick their wounds in peace. The beating may sound like noise to your ears because some of you have no shame or sense of embarrassments, but other do feel the pains.

Those that boasted that they were going to defend Yoruba and Igbo history against Benin are already deflated and feeling small, so give it a rest.
There's no distinction between historical fact and folklore in the cultures of this part of the world. The same word is used and each story is held in high regard as part of the people's tradition. There is no word in Bini language that separates "myth" from "legend" and both from "history".
It is left for historians to figure out which story is historical and which isn't

The story of Arhuan (also called Idubor) is told by Binis in the same way the story of his brother Esigie is told.
If you want to tell me now that Bini traditions specifically distinguish between history, legend and myths then the logical implication is that Esigie is not historical because their stories are interwoven.
And that opens up a can of worms because both are supposed to be prominent figures

Sometimes you need to think about the implications of what you are saying and don't try to act more intelligent than you actually are. You are not very bright
