JustAboyy: Career-wise, or in any aspect that success can be ascribed to, how is your primary, secondary, or university class topper fairing so far in life?
Can he/her be said to be successful?
Mine, I was the the class topper in primary school. I mean the overall best. Onto Junior sec. school I was the best as well. At senior sec, I was among the top 3 in my class. Never knew the exact position cos they don't grade positions at my senior secondary.
On to University, hell, I have spent more than eight years now still couldn't graduate. Finance, acquisitions, I don't even a full grown chicken to my name. Just managing life.
Lol, I know I'll be an example to many of my former classmates. They'll be like 'look at so, so (Jusatboyy) he still hasn't graduated life is not by academic grades' bla, bla...........
Some of them are married with kids, some medical doctors, some pharmacist, engineers, busineessmen/women.
Share lets hear.
University Days... The top three are in (1) Shell as a Senior Engineer (2) an MD of a logistics & supply chain firm (3) A University Professor of a top 100 Unversity. Primary School days... a senior resident surgeon in Atlanta. Same with secondary school days. Hardly any of these guys are in Nigeria. Generally, by the grace of God all OK. "School na scam" only happens when you are an olodo and you dont go for deliverance
But, why do some lecturers and some great and powerful men keep destroying their marriages, careers, lives, etc.by sleeping with their students,, maid, babysitter, nanny, secretary, etc….?
Why do men work so hard for 20, 30 or 40 years to build their career, and for a few minutes of pleasure give it all away?
You ruin your career for something you have at home, which is much better and you don’t have to be afraid. Sometimes you’re so afraid you last only a few minutes. Shame on you men!
You lost respect, your wife, sometimes your children, job and so on. It has always been so with great men in power so Says our Holy Bible (Job-32 vs 9).
Some Great men are not always wise. Most of them are not wise only educated. They only think with their baby ‘wewie’ not their brain. Take a look at some pastors, priest, politicians, CEO of big companies, etc who, as we are typing this, are ruining their lives and their career right this moment for a little sex and lust.
As an academic, I can tell you that Idowu's career is totally gone. Unless he continues as an independent researcher. That is if he is into research and not teaching. Young ones that have a vision and plan for your life: stay away from frolicking with women. It will destroy you and there is NO return from that.
Serene123: I have gone as far as secretly getting access to her WhatsApp. I didn't see any single chat with her and the guy nor another person. But the calls just keep pisisng me off.
I realised I shouldn't have gone that far. I should have just be calmed and let her do her wish
Ladies are very smart when it comes to cheating. Believe me, if she doesnt want you to know, you wont know. If you like, check everywhere.
mystery22: Nothing bad....He is a high value man and can still get any woman of his choice...But can we say the same of his wife....
Yes. But 99% of the women he would get will come for that "value"- the money, prestige, travel, etc. Goodluck to him when he falls ill. It will do him like Eboue.
Drinokrane: Former presidential aspirant Adamu Garba has withdrawn his court case against the founder/chief executive of Twitter International Company, Jack Dorsey, Igbere TV reports.
Mr Garba tweeted, saying he had asked his lawyers to withdraw the case, adding that the purpose of the lawsuit had been achieved.
The former presidential hopeful had dragged Mr Dorsey before a Federal High Court in Abuja over his alleged sponsorship of the October 2020 #EndSARS protests in Nigeria.
— Adamu B. Garba II, Msc, MNIIA, FIDPM (@adamugarba) January 10, 2021
The motion on notice was brought pursuant to order II Rules 1, 2, 3 of the Fundamental Rights (Enforcement Procedure) Rules, 2009 and Sections 34(1), 35(1) and 41(1) and 43 of the 1999 Constitution.
Garba had sought for an order stopping the operation of Twitter in any part of Nigeria.
Justice Giwa-Ogunbanjo had adjourned the case until April 22, 2021, for continuation of hearing.
Following the ban of US President Donald Trump from Twitter over the invasion of the Capitol building by rioters, the CEO of IPI Group Limited has been trying to woo Mr Trump to join a similar instant messaging platform, Crowwe.
Karlovich: So herdsmen have invaded Oyo state too. The heroin addict has failed his people and will betray them for crumbs from his Fulani masters same way Aphonja sold his people in Ilorin.
euromilion: Bros why don’t you use that money and start some kind of business over there?abroad is not easy anymore and you will have so much worries from getting papers, job and racism etc.
Abroad no longer worth it if you ask me except you already have means of regularising your documents.
Remove racism from your list. Nigeria, where cows have a higher life-worth than you? If, as a Nigerian, you can survive from the evil called tribalism, then you can survive racism anywhere.
Isobug: Why put them in Benue? So the controversy could continue?
I am saying this because certain people from certain part of the country(including Simplyleo) do not believe the Igbos are in indigenous in Benue and Kogi states
WoundedLamb: I don't know about women. I can't speak for them. But if I were a lady and my husband comes back asking for paternity test on our kids, I know for sure that marriage would never remain the same again regardless of how hard I try. There's simply no better way to plant the seed of distrust than making such a request.
No man will do that test with the knowledge of the wife when they can simply take the child to a barbing saloon and take the hair and run the test.
Maureenho: We have two Embassies in Vietnam and non of them is issuing passport. They are always at the mercy of Nigerian Embassy in Malaysia. A lot of us who are genuinely working are at edge of loosing our work because of issue of expired passport.
Staying a day after ones visa expiration in Vietnam is 5 years entry sanction. Why can’t Nigeria immigration Service do non-appearance passport for those their passports have expired like other African countries here in Vietnam.
Most of the African countries don’t even have Embassies much more a passport desk here but they never lack any basic service from their government. My Ghanaian and Uganda friends are not shaken at all by this pandemic limitations and expiring passport wahala. My Ghanaians friend sent their copy of their expiring passports to their High Commission in Malaysia and all their passport were done and sent back to them through DHL.
Ours is a different ball game even when we have our finger prints and details in the immigration database. Most countries don't have issues with their own Embassies even when the Embassies are not sited here. They are 100% assured of any basic needs they might be in need. Why are we a pain to our citizens. Why can't the citizens of Nigeria be proud of Nigeria just for once. I am really pained and our help is only from above. We have the risk of loosing our jobs and returning back to Nigeria just to renew our passport and have no chance of coming back due to the fact of border closing on foreigners. If our passports can't be renewed in another country where we have two Embassies then what is the purpose of having Embassies there.
Are we truly a shithole country likeTrump said?
Naija why? Are we cursed as a nation? Analogue leaders in high places of authority? What is wrong with us?

popsy2: But there is a widely circulated propaganda that Buhari is/was dead. The likes of Ayo Fayose, Wike and even FFK swore with their left hairy balls that Buhari was dead. That the person in Aso Rock was a certain Buhari body double from Sudan, known as Jubril. Even Nnamdi Kanu said his bit as well.

Go and carry a coffin of Buhari so we can make an equal comparison.
Ya Ardua, Obasanjo, Abacha, GEJ, etc, have had the experience of "he is dead" when they were alive; so this is no comparison. Carry a coffin and let us see if DSS will release you after 2023.
chewwie: I love it when people stand by their principles no matter what. A certain green-haired Alex would've jumped in!
Because she is Igbo. Igbos are stubborn and when it comes to principles, very stubborn. Hence the likes of Achebe will reject National Honours, while the other one will go and enjoy N80m birthday dinner with Amaechi.
Brika: A Nigerian doctor, Fatima has revealed that she turned down an opportunity to move to Canada because she wants to contribute to the growth and development of her country, Igbere TV reports.
While some Nigerians commended her patriotism, others said that she can afford to take such decisions because she is from a rich home.
https://twitter.com/lion__heart01/status/1345804111057473536?s=19
Because you are a Hausa lady. You dont need to go. If Igbos and Yorubas receive the kind of 1st Class treatment (especially) educated Northerners have, you think they will go to Canada or the US? They wont. Secondly, "abroad" is very, very, very competitive. Generally, Northerners cannot not cope in such environment. These are the two reasons why you didnt go to Canada.
"Igbo people cannot unite if, for example, we say we want an Igbo president. And then we’re talking about Biafra. There is a lot of political work we need to do in the southeast.
It is sad that Chimamanda is here parotting this nonsense propaganda by the North and South West.
When Obasanjo contested for the Presidency who was the main opposing candidate? Wasnt it Falae? Isnt Olu Falae a Yoruba man?
How many Hausas were fighting for the PDP candidature in 2019? Were they not up to 20? Or more than that? Is that unity? When other tribes politically slug it out amongst themselves, we call it "diversity and richness of the region". When it is Igbos, it is, "they lack unity". Such nonsense. I am disappointed that Adichie who should be given to critical thinking is simply going with propaganda.
geek4k: Despite the ecstatic vibe attached to the last day of the year (Gruesome 2020 especially), It ended sadly for me as I experienced a near death situation.
On 31st December, I and my friend decided to experience a great cross-over night at Glory Dome, Dunamis Church Abuja. We boarded a bus from Arab junction, Jabi to Lugbe where the Church is located.
Less than halfway through the journey, the bus began to develop issues and finally stopped just before Wuye Arab bridge. We all had to come down from the vehicle in pursuit of an alternative to our various destinations.
I and my friend walked over to the other end of the bridge while we waited for a cab heading our route. Unluckily for us, we stood there for a while, we couldn’t find any cab as most of them were already filled up and most of the other passengers had already gone their separate ways.
It was becoming dark, lonely, and scary giving the nature of the place we were standing. Just less than 4feets our back were bushes, albeit downhill, and underneath the bridge is a railway track, you won’t be able to tell even because it’s filled with outright darkness.
It was becoming tiring and frustrating, we looked down and noticed 3 guys heading our position, they were seated initially for some while, we both thought they were from same vehicle we boarded and frustrated as we were, my friend suggested we team up with them and look for cab together, I jokingly replied “What if they’re here to rob us..?” We both laughed.
Unbeknownst to us, they actually were. They got closer and to where we were standing, subtly attempting to encircle us while I was looking forward to them passing us, my friend ran off immediately, before I could realize they already formed a triangle grid around me each of them bearing long, sharp knives shouting “Hey! hey!! bring your pocket..!!”.
Being ganged up, held down and threatened to be stabbed if you don’t comply, It was indeed a vicious moment for me, and all I could think of was how I could get out of that situation unhurt. But despite the fear that engulfed me, I stood my ground holding my pocket firmly while they tried to forcefully penetrate in with their hands.
My friend was on the other side, almost at the middle of the express road shouting “Thieves..!” to at least call the attention of motorists but they all formed swirled track avoiding him, perhaps thinking it was a plot to get the robbed?
After several resistance from my end, I got stabbed on my thigh by one of the guys, I then had to let go as they emptied my pocket, carting away with my phone and wallet.
Attempting to run back into the bush, I immediately went after the one that got my phone, he kind of lost orientation and was almost headed towards the bridge while his other gang were heading to the bush. He immediately turned around swinging his long knife so I wouldn’t get close, he then threw the phone to his other gang in the bush and they all ran away.
These robbers were skinny, tall hausa boys all wearing face caps, I was so devastated that if I had a gun, I wouldn’t hesitate even in a split second to put three bullets in their heads. Why does bad thing always happen to good people? I’m not insinuating I’m a saint but I’ll never to this to a fellow. Why me?
Anyways, after the sad occurrence of losing everything I had and almost my life, it reasonable to go back home just as my friend suggested, but instead we still waited, get a cab and head to the church where we had the cross over night. I personally didn’t have any good experience despite dancing and joyous experience everyone had there.
I lost my Samsung A30, Gtb, Diamond and Payoneer debit cards and some cash in the wallet all to one night
Anyways, I’m looking for who can track my phone using maybe the IMEI number? the phone pack, receipt are still intact.
Lastly, kindly learn from my story and avoid that Wuye bridge at all cost.

Sorry about this. You escaped a near-death experience. Right now there is a complete breakdown of law and order in Nigeria no thanks to Buhari's violent Fulani kinsmen from Mali, Niger Republic, CAR, Cameroon, Chad, etc. Nigeria is essentially a Failed State. A Failed State happens when the Centre Government is unable to provide security and governance and arms are in the hands of state and non-state actors. Please do all you can to stay safe. That the North and APC has afflicted Nigerians with this is depressing. That we have 2.5 years more with this regime is scary.
AlexReports: Celebration From Ndi Anambra As Dr. Maduka Storms Chief Johnbosco's Music Academy Building Launch To Support Goodwill
Anambra Governorship hopeful, multiple degree holder, doctorate honours, and CEO of Las Vegas Pain Institute, Dr. Godwin Maduka has demonstrated his support of goodwill and good politics for the people of Anambra state, as he attends the grand opening and handover of Archbishop Valerian Okeke Music Academy, built by Chief Johnbosco Onunkwo, an APC Chieftain in Anambra state to empower musical arts in the state.
The arrival of Dr. Godwin Maduka to the handover ceremony of Archbishop Valerian Okeke Music Academy (AVOMA), at Cathedral Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity, Onitsha on the 20th of December 2020, was indeed overwhelming and it attracted massive jubilation from Ndi Anambra who were present at the colourful event.
Dr. Maduka therefore commended the efforts of Chief Johnbosco Onunkwo for his exceptional generosity and kindness in the construction of a music Academy in Anambra state for "Ndi Anambra". The appearance of the Lion of Africa and Okosisi of Orumba has been described as a democratic and sincere quality of a good leader, with emphasis on his objective engagements for Ndi Anambra regardless of the differences in party membership.
The handover ceremony however recorded the presence of several prominent personalities including celebrities, public figures, social groups, women associations and other renowned individuals, some of which includes popular Entertainers like Patoranking, Flavour and amongst other AVOMA Artists. Speaking during the Event, Chief Johnbosco Onunkwo stated that there is no greater joy than seeing a dream come to fruition in a record time. He however expressed gratitude to Almighty God for according him the grace to become a tool of blessing for the upliftment of young children gifted in the Art of Music.
Chief Johnbosco also stated that AVOMA is non-denominational gospel Institution, where young people from all walks of life irrespective of religious affiliation could be trained under the auspices of the Archbishop. He therefore thanked God Almighty for providing the funds for this project despite the way the year turned out, especially the COVID-induced lockdown. He says, "I believe in sowing in pain as the multiplying effect is exhilarating".
2020 should have thought many a lesson on churches and fraud[/s].[/s]
It is a prophecy that the Servant of God give and tell their congregation.
It is NOT for you. The government does not ask the Servant of God for prophecies in order to tweak their budget or foreign policy. Why dont you mind your business, since it is not for you? Do you go about putting your ear to what the Imam or Shiekh says in the Mosque? No. Because you know it is not for you. How hard is it to extend that same common sense thinking to the Church?
Abdulazeez99: Senator Shehu Sani has appealed to clerics in the country to simply pray for the nation and stay away from prophecies, Igbere TV reports.
Every December 31, clerics give prophecies about the New Year; but many on social media have wondered why no clergyman foresaw the coronavirus pandemic in 2020.
Church goers will be expecting their leaders to make prophecies from the pulpit during the cross-over services which will hold virtually and physically or both in some parts of the country.
Igbere TV reports that founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations Prophet T.B. Joshua has already urged the public to tune in to his cable channel Emmanuel TV to hear his prophecies after returning from his prayer mountain.
Many people do not understand the Christian definition of prophecies. That a man of God prophesy doesn’t mean it will come to pass automatically. No. Apostle Paul warned Timothy himself saying, “ This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare”, 1 Tim 1:18. “Mightiest war a good warfare means praying” (Eph 6:12).
Not just sitting down and expecting it to happen as if you are entitled to it. If I see a vision of the son of Mr A becoming a world class neurologist and they don’t (1) Pray it to existence and (2) Physically prepare for it, it is not likely that he would end up a neurologist. For a prophecy released, the Kingdom of darkness has heard it to. If it’s good, it will work against it. If it is bad, they’ll work to ensure it comes through.
I don’t expect non-believers to know this. But Believers should.
Mama, the reason why he wasnt able to come back is simple: He did not have his complete papers. Now he does, and thank God for that. I hope he doesnt come and pick a wife from Nigeria who has no clue about the hustling he's done. Zero clue. That is why they will come to the US and misbehave.
