You are mistaking bravery, and normal masculinity for obsessive characters, obsessive characters is not something to brag about.

People that have obsessive characters are not very brave too, they just have something to feed which is their mind else they won't be able to rest

By the way I noticed many northerner have very strong masculinity, which may actually be your case
Madam/Oga, I am not a Northerner. Southerners that grow up in Sokoto or Kaduna do not automatically become "Northerners". Wonder where you got that hypothesis from. And hey, this is not "brag". I was simply stating what I did when younger which many males at my age did, and more. Back then we didnt have the phones and social media distractions which is abound today. Hence, we did more things with our innate curiousity.

Your entire thesis stems from the inaccurate belief that I am a "Northerner". Essentially means your entire thesis is quite flawed.

Okay do you want to know something, I grew up in a deeper life family, my dad won't allow us to watch the TV except for the NTA news at 9, curiosity can come from anything you can't even imagine, just be very close to your child, know what he his obsessed with at any point in time, people like that have obsessive minds, they get obsessed about a particular thing for some time, and another thing after some times. When ever you notice they try to look for lone time, just know that they are presently obsessed with something they themselves know it is dangerous.

That guy must have being nursing that action for a long time even talking about it and asking his peers about it, the guardian leaving him alone is the perfect opportunity he has been looking for, for a long time.

If the new is true trust what I am telling you, you can't cage a curious mind, I grew up with that kind of mind too, so I know very well, I know what I have attempted if not for my dad, siblings and neighbors, that always come to my rescue, I won't be typing this now.

Some people will say it an evil spirit, it actually not, people like that just have very obsessive characters
I have a very curious mind, perhaps more curious than you. I have jumped off a moving bus; I have gone to tamper with an active bee-hive; I have been bitten by a dog; when I see snakes, I dont run from them; I chase them, unless when in a confined space... In the North, when there is a religious fight, I go out on the streets to meet the Almajiri rioters. I did all these and more when I was younger. Let me stop here, before people think I am bragging.
This acts were driven by me seeing others doing it and me believing I could as well. Movies were one of those things and backed with a curious mind, I did these and more. This are the physical reasons. Are there spiritual reasons? Of course. That is another epistle.

My point: The young boy saw these things being played out somewhere and did the same. TV, Movies are some of those mediums.

Still won't change anything, that kid died of a very curious mind, a curious mind can kill its young owner faster than anything, I survived more than 3 attempt of actions that could lead to my death, just for the sake of feeding my curiosity, till today the marks are all over my body
Sorry about the events you had. Curiousity comes from what the eyes is fed with.
I'll make sure that the Television would not be that source of curiousity.

Insidenaija:
A Nigerian soldier, Lieutenant Peter Ogwo Josiah Was Murdered few days to his wedding ceremony, Insidenaija reports.

Lieutenant Peter Ogwo Josiah whose wedding ceremony was slated for Dec 13, 2020, was last week in his duty post last week, a source told insidenaija.

As of the time of filing this report, the Nigerian Army has not yet issued any official statement as to the circumstances surrounding the death of this promising young man.

Nigerian needs a better security and good equipment for our men in the military. The rate if how the terrorist are killing our men is not what to be joke for.

Imagine a man who has already picked date for his wedding ceremony, not knowing that he won’t be there for the day. I pity the condition of his wife to be and also his family members.

May his dear soul find peace in the bosom of the Lord, and pray God give those he left behind the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable lost. He died serving his country, and we appreciate him.

Ogwo... That is an Enugu or Ebonyi man.
Southerners should realise that they are being sent to be killed, intentionally, by Buhari and Buratai's army.

MadeMan01:
My brother it is hard.
That is my exact predicament. The simple truth is that Nigerian economy is so harsh that it has made people put a monetary value on everything even love.
My predicament is I met a lovely girl three years ago whilst working. She was in her final year then and just completed NYSC. I lost my job in first trimester of last year. But before my girl left for NYSC in November 2019, I was getting some unsavoury vibes from her. I asked her about it she didn't speak out. But as a guy, I suspected the stress of me being jobless played a role. Prior to this, the girl told me she wants to go o Canada and for this reason i started Canada moves.
Can you believe, this lady couldn't even wait for the outcome of the process despite knowing how far I'd gone with application and frequent teasing me about seeing her folks which I planned for December 2020. She messaged me in February 2020 to break it off for some guy in Abuja.
Fast forward to November 2020, Canada visa has clicked and the girl that should be enjoying it is nowhere around me. I really love her. My brain tells me to leave her, my heart says go back to her forgive her stupidity after all she planted the seed of Canada in my head. Also I have two bank job offers.
I am considering leaving her, going to Canada and getting a Canadian woman but a part of me holds her dear. I know Nigerian poverty caused her to make that decision. But my concern is whether she would have learnt her lesson and won't give up on me in Future joint project no matter how hard
Run from her.
RUN!

Otherwise, we look forward to your sorry tales on NL in a few years' time.

This is roughly a year and four months I have decided to find someone to marry. It's been so dramatic all along and I'm getting tried already. I want a woman who I am compatible with. I don't need anyone that is hot tempered or stubborn. I want a woman that is hard workin who loves me the way i am. Is it so difficult to find? I came out from a crazy relationship and I don't want to experience something like that anymore. I don't want issues all the time.

The funny thing happening at the moment is that am "tryin to"(still at the process) date my ex's high school mate. The way our part crossed again was just ironic. Sometimes I feel stupid for tryin to date her tho she's not the reason why we broke up. Salute to those that got married. Abeg how una take do am..
You need to carry on with life NOT looking for a lady to get married to, primarily. In that way you would build friendships with ladies for being ladies and not with ladies for being marriage material.
You'll get to know them well.
Slowly, you will mentally develop a list and you will find yourself gravitating to one or two.
Of course you should pray along the way and be led by logic and rational and please NOT by emotions or love. Because that fine face, big front, big back will disappear. You will be faced with the real person.

After the new president takes over in the USA, Nigerian government officials might be hit with extreme sanctions from western countries. Nigeria is a country where everybody in authority behaves like a demigod and our political leaders are the worse.
If the Biden regime takes over, there will be no sanctions from the USA.

Biden helped bring this Buhari regime into power. Biden was sent to welcome and greet Buhari on Buhari's first visit to the White House after he was inaugurated. The same Obama foreign policy internal team- Susan Rice, Axelrod, etc, are the same people who will surround Biden.
So forget it sir.

Majority of ladies in their 27 upwards are always caring to a fault and would use love tire you, Infact one gets a wife treatment from a GF. They can even go the extra mile to make it work except the guy is not interested. Speaking from two experiences. Generally, when a lady likes a man, making her do all you want would never be hard, so long it is sensible. Some of those 27 upward, their conversation is nothing but mature and apt, their view of a wife life would now be very biblical as found in Ephesians.
