Well what went wrong is the fact that liberal/neutral nigerians (at least in the most part) are trying to now screen his critisisms not just as the pst bakare they once knew but also as a VP candidate of nigeria's foremost opposition party(this is very key),if you juxtapose this and who he was before now you will see that his person may not have changed but his political stand,his affiliations and perspectives about him has changed,this change is enough to cause all the hullabaloo you now see around every of his recent criticism,I think bakare should factor this change in perspective in subsequent criticisms so as not to be seen as a bitter or vengeful election looser. it takes a politically neutral critic to make the kind of statements bakare is making and walk free,it is not a development that is out of the ordinary if you see him as a politician because politicians always do have motives,my opinion

I feel a pastor has a right to express his views on politics in his pulpit as long as he remains politically neutral,bakare as pastor,critic and SNG guy was phenomenal, part of his efforts got GEJ to where he is today,but bakare as pastor,critic,SNG guy and politician raises alot of questions,the SNG and his church has become a tool in his hands to effect a political take over of government for his party,my opinion though,my issues with him is the partisan nature, gradual erosion of objectivity and desperation of his criticisms as a result of the interests of his party else the man use to be very real and bold

back to IBB's address: recall that IBB established the National Defence College (NDC) Abuja. that strategic vision of of his is one of the legacies being celebrated at twenty. credit must be given to him for that. i guess its an honour to him, and also to the course participants to drag him out of his comfort for this lecture. not all leave to see what they establish flourish like this one. this is what he thought more than twenty years ago. besides, may i ask: since the establishment of the National war college (now National Defense College) tell me one single spectacular thing that has happened in Nigeria armed forces at that level.

when you attempt to criticize, please do so in such a way that you don't betray the abysmal level of your ignorance, just like you've just done now. information on all these socalled leaders, thieves conmen, rogues, etc abound in the literature. just a little research on any of them will avail you some facts on them. your reliance on all political cliches and sectional jingles will not help you.
