. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala must have had this thread in mind when she alleged that most Nigerian youths are not employable. Like WTF?! See dumbness in full glare! When there's a dispute of such magnitude, the ideal thing to do is put a hold to the ongoing project until a resolution is reached. If you cannot understand this simple logic, then I wonder how you pass(ed) in class, really. Unless if you wanted him to allow the project to continue so you could accuse him of being anti people. Pff! |
BenBruce4Presdt:Thank you. I'm a Christian. What you see or hear on/in the media doesn't paint the true picture of things at all. There are a lot more good Muslims than there are bad ones. I don't have the stats for sure, but I dare to state the ratio of good to bad Muslims in the north stands at something in the region of 70/30%, and I'm not just making up numbers. I've lived among them my entire life. But u know life, bad things sell the fastest, so you won't hear much about the little acts of kindness. |
idupaul:Yes. He's in the military, so it's a call of duty. Thank you! |
$50k isn't too much by most standards. The issue lies in finding someone worth the amount, someone who would add value to the team. Whether foreign or local, all that we need is improvement. Enough of all the father Christmas. |
Mr Minister, well meaning Nigerians are complaining as well. That not withstanding, what I don't seem to understand is, some even go as far as complaining about a lack of money in the economy-- to which I ask, are your salaries not being paid? This applies only to Federal workers by the way. The problem with us is our own indolence. We look up to the government for almost everything, forgetting that the primary function of government is the provision and sustainance of an enabling environment. There's really a need for re-orientation. |
It beats me how the very same people who bear the brunt (if at all they do) of such kleptocracy stake their reputation defending the indefensible. Does your conscience not prick you at all? How do you sleep at nights with so much blood on your hands? I've lost friends and known ones, an uncle and nearly lost my mum all to Boko haram. They burnt down my dad's house, and he's broken a bone in an accident he was involved in whilst he and his team were chasing them down. So I know firsthand what it's like to suffer in the hands of those monsters. The thing is, it all happened at the time bullets were being rationed to soldiers, by which time they could have long been contained or their powers whittled down at the very least, had the money been put to purpose. All we want is justice for the lost souls who cannot speak up now. We're their voices, and are watching with keen interest from the sideline how events unfold. |

All this blame game no be am at all. We don tire to dey hear 'tory. We just want to see things on ground, enough of all these media brouhaha! |

Dongreat:Huh? Sometimes, you read some comments and be like, WTF?! Could this really be coming from a discerning person at all? I guess you must have expected a northern city because according to your warped logic, they are so poor and poverty induces dirty habits? Your thinking is so Harvard standard! When in doubts, ask questions; when you have no clue whatsoever, research--it's bad precedent reaching conclusions on grounds of hearsay and conjectures or utter gut feeling! |
It doesn't get shallower than this! |

Things are gonna get a whole lot worse before they get better. Mr president's approach to certain issues do not sit well with me. But I recognise that he has his own principles to play by. Should it play out well, glory him-- and if it fails, then we can vilify him. But until then, I'm just gonna watch, motivate, and criticize constructively where applicable. Buhari is for the meantime, Nigeria is forever! I wish him well and hope that a lot changes for the better for country and people! |

TonyeBarcanista:The lie lies in you claiming that Buhari inherited a robust power sector, or is it that he inherited a Nigeria devoid of ethnic clashes? Like I said earlier, I lack the strength to type epistles. That wasn't an attack on your person at all, my apologies if it seems that way. Only that your running from pillar to post every now and then makes one wonder where your mouth really is. |
Having weighed evidence and evaluated both the truth and lies of all you have said, it's important to note that you're on a perilous journey to irrelevance and political annihilation. Your analysis are devoid of objectivity. Obviously, you're groveling at the IPOB's feet. But, for your own good, never again peddle falsehood all in a bid to pander to certain elements. You can't tell for sure who's reading and whom those lies might impact negatively on. NB: there's a whole lot you wrote up there that I wish to counter, but I'm too lazy to type now. Try finding yourself man, it's a shame for a man your age and experience to not know what he wants for himself! @tonyebarcanista. |
The man is truly a di.ck! On a side, why do we take these whites more seriously than we do our black contemporaries? Away with the slave mentality, please! ![]() |
The monster is raising it's head again. Lord, deliver us! Reminds me how some nefarious activities of these monsters disturbed the peace in Kaduna during my childhood. The fear of those guys used to send chills down the spine, man! I thought we had moved past this, alas, it's a vicious circle! |
Ofodirinwa:Lol. You don't make every decision by gut feeling and emotions without first weighing up evidence. I reside in the SE and have been to many places within the region. I've seen expensive houses, quite alluring edifices and all. One thing most those places have in common is that a majority of the owners are domiciled outside of the SE. Now, would they have been as successful had they stay back in the SE like you propose? The SE is better today because they dared to venture out and invest the proceeds back home. It would have been one big slum had they not, if you asked me. Cos really, there's barely enough of anything here that could have made so many people as rich. Learn to see the positives sometimes. |

Minority tribes have suffered in this country. But we won't cry marginalization at all. If they are the best hands for the job, then so be it! Brains over blood! |
Ariani:But I thought Sun News is pro Biafra? |
The fulani herdsmen are wreaking too much havoc on this nation. As deadly as they are, the president's continued silence is even deadlier. What's so difficult in him condemning outrightly such dastardly acts? Stern words of warning would have offered some restraints. Buhari, your bigotry is so alarming that you can't even pretend like you care in any way. That's something even the most ardent of your supporters cannot defend, and you're losing it so fast! |
Finepaparazy:You, my friend, are mistaken. Geography and Zoology secured a certain people the topmost job in Nigeria, with one setting records of being the only person to have been both deputy governor and governor, VP and president in the process. Not that they were voted on account of courses studied. I'm just stating how far any course can get one in life. When even illiterates are making it big, how much more a graduate, provided he/she works hard enough. |

The whites! They made much more impact setting us aright in a short while than our own countrymen have even attempted to. |

dunkem21:As in, that guy is funny! |
ProfessorPeter:Lol. Couldn't help laughing so hard! |
