malele:Hmmm, brother, our leaders lack foresight, + patriotism doesn't even know how to begin to locate their abode! They are in power just for the sake of it and aggrandizement of their kith and kin! |
. My people and ![]() |
TippyTop:This 'monkey' isn't gonna tow a line all because everyone else does. He cares too much to sit in one place whilst his countrymen get wasted. He's no coward like that! Hate him all you want, but the man has made a mark. He's not without his own faults, but to call out a man who has done his bit like that says a lot about your upbringing! |
plaetton:The real minister of petroleum never lied about his qualifications. When smart people are beclouded by sentiments. Well, that's how Trump managed to sweep Massachusetts, the most educated state in the US. How gullible! |
chachanga:And God bless you too, for your objectivity! I'm not in anyway alluding that everyone else is a vandal, that would make nonsense of my claim. Something even I wouldn't accept. My point is, sometimes, we condone misdeeds sweeping it all under the carpet only to turn around and blame it all on the govt. We look the other way when properties are being destroyed or vandalized, because the vandals 'na our own'. How are we to get anywhere at all with such mentality? Monies that should have been used elsewhere ends up being used to fix the same facilities over time. 90% of Nigerians are not in this category, but the negativity of the minority 10% impacts on us all. It takes just a few people, a matchbox, and dynamite to pull power generation back down to 2000 megawatts. Issue is, they are shielded by the very same people bearing the brunt! That's my drift, sir. Thank you! |
About time! I've seen some unbelievably good made in Nigeria shoes that could measure up to the foreign ones regardless the yardstick employed. Way to go. |
Until we the masses start to play our part, fairly constant electricity will continue to elude us. The same people sabotaging the little efforts government is making to increase power generation are the first to shout 'we haven't seen light for days now'. How were you to see light when you've taken to vandalisation as profession. You want utopia, but have sworn to disturb the hood, how's she to grow into even South Africa? |
. Chase them out let's see whether the law will employ those who will be laid off. There's enough unemployment in the land already, we shouldn't exacerbate the situation all in a bid to seem tough. This is not to say that we should condone flouting of our laws, but diplomacy needs be deployed in handling sensitive issues as this. Meanwhile, from the look of things, it seem like MTN no more pay the 'Ghana must go' dues like they used to. Men dey vex! |
Little acts of kindness go a long way. The money may be worth nothing to them as millionaires. However, the gesture will leave a lasting impression on them; yeah, our countrymen care about us and our performance. Remember those celebrities don't get gifted stuffs much, so they admire gifts of any kind, regardless how small it is. |
HungerBAD:Happy Easter boss. Wish you the best for today and beyond! |
BlackTechnology:BlackTechnology ko black mind ni! Your hate for the good Yoruba tribe could consume the devil himself, already burnt as he is. Why must everyone else align with your views and opinions? Do you not have divergent views even in your family? |
BlackTechnology:How were they scammed? There were so many Yoruba names on the purported list. I'd rather be scammed like that than be fed crumbs! Wonder when you'll stop viewing issues of utmost importance through ethnic and religious lenses. |
. Over 35 million fulani herdsmen?! It seems like everyone is now their own NBS. . |
Waploadedpr:You just confirmed that Youngzedd is Kulimart. Though the desk on which he snapped the purported phone already blew his cover, cos Kulimart posted pics from that same desk before. |
@210 dollars, this phone sounds expensive at 72k. A whopping 30k difference. Nigerians just like ripping each other off! |
This is quite sad! So the importer of total football into Spain and brain behind the tiki taka Barcelona has come to be associated with is no more? Life is indeed short! You've left your mark, and your footprints will be there for generations unborn to see how much you helped change the game. Rest in peace, legend! I only wish Sandra Rosell treated you better. #BarcaIsTheWay |
TippyTop:You go from thread to thread spewing hate like your life depends on it! Phew! |
From where do these people churn out such unbelievably absurd stats? It's becoming increasingly obvious that these numbers are being conjured up 'sinisterly' in order to arm twist the government into releasing more forex than she is willing to. |
May this not cause any discord among them. You guys need to unite now more than ever to deliver the goods for country and people! |
TippyTop:Kebbi is one of the most peaceful states up North with a vast number of Christians. They are capable of so much... only, "producing" terrorists isn't one of such! Try knowing about a people before blanketing! |

Living4christ:Actually, I live in Awka. People can get paranoid, but hate Muslims, no. This is not to say that I haven't met anyone who does not hate Muslims here in the east, I have met many. But on a larger scale, it's more of a concern/worry than intolerance as they OP tried to pass across. |
Seeing how Nigerians detest the police force, I hope there won't still be vacant slots left at the time of closing of applications. |
National honour kwa? Scholarship and maybe, financial assistance is all that he has earned. He's his own legend, we are only glad to have shared in the moment. |
This OP is a joke! Why make it seem like the east frowns at Islam altogether? The people here don't care what religion you practice, just be peaceful, that's all that they ask. Again, Nnamdi Kanu may be agitating for a cause some of them believe in, but he doesn't in any way assume the god-like status you're painting in their hearts and in their minds. The people don't really care, just so long as they are treated fairly. You must have been associating with touts! The rest of your points have some truth there inbetween though. |
I imagine the conversation between Mr president and Amaechi pre-election to have gone thus: Amaechi: Mr president, it's election time, the moment we've all been waiting for to stamp our party's foot in rivers and shut those touts for good, pay them back in their own coin! Buhari: oh wow, I see. Is there any way I can help achieve that? Amaechi: Yes, there is, sir. Actually, I'll be needing some form of cash and army presence. Those will do just fine. Buhari: You've given so much to ensure that we get to this place, I couldn't refuse you anything. I owe you that and even more. You can have whatever you like, but in all of it, remember it's not a do or die affair-- your boys can always get appointed in some other capacity as compensation. Amaechi: Thank you so much, sir, that will be more than enough. I'll see you when I return? Buhari: Yeah, sure, my door is always open. I wish you luck! Amaechi: Thanks, sir. Bye. Buhari: Bye. Remember Ekiti gate? That's what Federal might seems like. What played out in Rivers was just the 'overzealousness' of some scumbags acting on pre election hate speeches and in the heat of the moment. Lord rest the departed! |
These guys just like dey use people catch cruise. Meanwhile..........., watch out for a very interesting episode next time out! |
At no point was it ever a contest. PDP goons have always been vociferous. But if you consider it so, Think of it as PDP fan boys being made to work extra to pay back for a largesse they've long forgotten how it tastes. The victors can only bask in their glory-- something that should be done in a resting position, no need to stress. Na pikin wey pass class dem dey carry go vacation. ![]() |
Mr president, you talk too much sometimes. It's not presidential! We knew from time that your promises were sheer gimmicks, we still voted nonetheless, cos we so badly needed a change, we still do. So get to work, enough of the sermons! |
Is it just me or Caleb was only the reporter. Those were TMG statements, not Caleb's. On a lighter note, mods, I reported this same news since on Saturday, but it wasn't deemed front page worthy. |
