BETATRON: such questions which lead people toward atheism.....christians too ask such questions and have become atheist,,although some are very intelligent questions only lacking intelligent answers but a whole lot of dem are unintelligent questions putting on the clothes of intelligence. Well the verse didn't say that does who asked the prophet the questions became faithless it only said those bEFORE them(their generation) have asked such questions and have a result lost their faith we are talking about the two religious book, yes christian ask question and loose their faith, but the bible never discourage christian to ask question. But the quran imply that some people ask question which NO muslims could answer, and this people loose their faith. |

BETATRON: like I said the koran and the prophet on many occasions welcomes intellectual and scholarly endeavor
God asked men to ponder on the koran He also said are those with knowledge equal to does who have no knowledge..He also said call people to the way of your Lord with Wisdom(the result of knowledge and a good exaltation
How can such a religion which is makes great reference to seeking knowledge be against asking intellectual questions....the prophet is also recorded to have said ask me ask me before you loss me .....what kind of questions could be koran be against,,it could only be against questions that are irrelevant as you know people are fund of asking irrelevant question....for instance some1 could ask the prophet to bring God to him or such The quran say some people ask question and loose their faith, who are this people ? What question did they ask ? Who did they ask question ? Allah or muhammed ? And why the right answer are not given to them ? |

WORDWORLD: Did that single verse 5: 101 end with trouble followed by dash dash dash
Becoming angry by men of God when being asked irrelevant questions is found in the Bible many times. An expression by so many prophets. Even Jesus is not left out. He expresses his anger and even curses the Pharasies when the come with their provocative questions.
Jesus is many times called Son of man. Perhaps he was also being emotional like human beings.
Even God becomes angry despite being GOD that He is.
So Prophet Muhammad becoming angry being human that he is and with the Hadith not stating what it was the question being exactly asked him that made him emotional leave us and you in VAGUE.
The Quran is revealed in stages which infact was an enquiry by those who had no faith in Islam.
As thus:
"Those who reject faith (in islam) say: 'why is not the Quran revealed to him all at once?' Thus (is it reveealed), that We may strengthen thy heart thereby, and We have reheared it to thee in slow, well arranged stages, gradually" Quran 25 verse 32
Why in stages? One of the reason is because the Quran takes a form of a rebuttal to questiions hauled at the Prophet which in return he is commanded to say the answers as being revealed to him be Him, Allah who claims throughout in the Quran the Authorship, the speaker.
Also another reason is because the Quran does not demand belief but invites belief.
It is always questioning man. HAVE YOU MAN THOUGHT OF SUCH AND SUCH? HAVE YOU CONSIDERED SO AND SO? IT IS ALWAYS AN INVITATION FOR YOU TO LOOK AT THE EVIDENCE AND EXAMIN. AND NOT TO JUST BELIEVE DOGMATICALLY.
"And no question do they bring to thee but We reveal to thee the Truth and the best explanation" Quran 25: 33
As to you @ ari3l i will attend to you soon. I have to meet up with today's challenges to seeking for bread and butter for my flesh. Do worry i will be EXPLICIT with my answers if understanding is what you seek.
IF ANYBOODY A NON-MUSLIM SEEKING TO UNDERSTANDING ISLAM NOT INFACT TO BECOMING A MUSLIM BUT UNDERSTANDING BREEDS PEACE WILL NOTICE THAT MALGIVING'S STILL DID NOT QUOTE IN FULL THE VERSE QURAN 5: 101 IN FULL.
BUT WITH DASH DASH DASH........ITS TRUELY MISLEDING WHAT PEOPLE DO JUST INOREDER TO DEMONIZE OTHER PEOPLE'S FAITH.
I ALWAYS WONDER WHY? I BELIEVE ITS A DISEASE OF THE HEART THAT NEEDS CURE BY EMBRACING SINCERITY. It was jesus challenging the belief of the pharasees and not the other way round, the bible made it crystal clear, whenever the pharasees came to ask jesus question, it always was a plot to kill him or to find fault against him. And jesus NEVER ignore their question, He give them answer. But muhammed got angry for question being ask toward him, and also, why did the quran discourage muslims to ask question ?how is asking question means one could loose his faith ? |

ari3l: Now why was he angry? If really he didn't have a thing or two, why would he be angry? He shouldn't be angry that his congregation asked somethings to clarify themselves. It even shows muhammad needs to be asked questions if he was alive.
Now I put it that this is the reason why many muslims depart islam because they have not found an answer to this portion of the quran..or am I lying? you are correct malvisguy212: Only an information control cult would discourage anyone from asking questions. Is it rational to accept any one religion as the true religion without investigating or questioning it? Surely not! Therefore, we will now question Muslims about the teachings of Islam. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Quran 5:101. We Need Answers! by malvisguy212: 7:26am On Mar 15, 2016 |
WORDWORLD: @ ari3l
It is good that I tell you first and foremost where I SINCERELY stand.
I stand for a one standard judgement which is 'TRUTH'. I don't know how to MANIPULATE peoples mind nor encourage such art of deceiving people into believing a CONJECTURE.
It doesn't make me feel good nor does it make our world any better.
"Just because something isn't a LIE does not mean that it isn't DECEPTIVE. A liar knows that he (she) is a LIAR, but one who speaks mere portions of TRUTH in order to DECEIVE is a CRAFTMAN OF DESTRUCTION" Criss Jami
@ari3l did you not quote just a portion of the verse and then ignore the whole TRUTH. Was it delibrate?
I am not on this social network to defend Muslims, Christains .........feminist e.t.c
I choose to be an Explorer of thoughts and not a Wanderer in confusion. Weren't we all born into this world without having known anything but being infused with certain NARRATIVES and BELIEFS while helpless a little child with no choice?
Hence, is it WISE to hold firm to beliefs which one by himself or herself did not discover through CONVICTION by our personal exploration of alternatives.
i mean holding firmly to what we found our parents practicing. Basing once FAITH on ties of relationship because my parents are Atheist, Budist, Muslims, Christains rather than on DISCOVERY, CONFIRMATION AND CONVICTION and EVIDENCES is having no faith at all but SENTIMENTS.
Hence, i am a SINCERE TRUTH SEEKER and i am not into RIVALRY of ideaology nor the sport called ARGUMENT. All i care about is the 'TRUTH'. And I am here for ENLIGHTENMENT and a RESPECTFUL DISCUSSION. I assume you are a Christain. I will enjoy a morally upright discussion so that we can arrive at a reasonably conclusion to answering your question.
So, @ ari3l,
Is it UNDERSTANDING you seek for and that is why you have asked this your question?
Well, from your writting it seems that all that you want to show is that there isn't freedom of speech in Islam.
Secondly, to tell that the level of confussion of Muslims is STRICTLY based on the Quran.
WELL THESE TWO CHARGES ARE FALSE. I have a Quran with detailed commentary and have been studying it METICULOUSLY. Case by case. Seeking for what is 'PLAIN' and not 'AMBIGUITY. Even the biography of Prophet Muhammad too and so many other literatures that criticize Islam and i have also been consulting Islamic scholars. ALL WITH A PLAIN MIND THAT IS NOT SUBJECTIVE BUT OBJECTIVE.
So, when i saw the verse which you quoted and inorder to increase in knowledge. I quickly went to the Quran to check.
I WAS SO ASTONISHED TO FIND OUT THAT YOU DIDNT QUOTE THE WHOLE OF THE VERSE TO THE END WHICH BY ITSELF ALREADY ANSWERED YOUR QUESTION.
I am no more than someone who defends the 'TRUTH'. No matter the source. As long as its the TRUTH i will always STATE IT.
So, the TRUTH is that you have quoted that verse half way,
"MERE PORTION OF TRUTH IN ORDER TO DECEIVE IS A CRAFTMANSHIP OF DESTRUCTION" reminding you of an earlier quote.
So am speaking on behalf of TRUTH and not the Muslims.
Hence, you quoted .
"O ye who believe! Ask not questions about things which if made plain to you, may cause you trouble........"
AS IF IT IS AN EXCLUSIVITY, COMMANDING BELIEVERS IN ISLAM NOT TO ASK QUESTIONS.
But the same verse continues as thus, which you didn't quote:
"BUT IF YE ASK ABOUT THINGS WHEN THE QURAN IS BEING REVEALED, THEY WILL BE MADE PLAIN TO YOU, ALLAH WILL FORGIVE THOSE: FOR ALLAH IS OFT- FORGIVING, MOST FORBEARING" Quran 5:104.
THE VERSE HAS ANSWERED ITSELF.
It did not say EXCLUSIVELY not to ask questions but related answering this questions as the Quran is gradually being revealed.
The Quran was revealed in stages and mostly for anwering quetions.
IF TRUELY YOU ARE SINCERE AND BEING JUST AND INTERESTED IN PEACE YOU CAN'T SAY OTHERWISE.
the continuation of the verse states "BUT IF"
"I always ask questions where ever I go. So, I'm asking what do muslims have to say here" quoting you.
The Quran responds as thus:
"AND NO QUESTION DO THEY BRING TO THEE BUT WE REVEAL TO THEE THE TRUTH AND THE BEST EXPLANATION (thereof) Quran 25 : 33
Await Qurans best Explanation from what i have SINCERELY LEARNT if it is understanding that you seek and not ideological rivalry which is totally IMMATURE AND UNHEALTHY for the development of humanity.
For now, I have only drawn your attention to what you have done which my Atheist mentor Eric Hoffer taught me. In his words, he said about what you just did.
"Right now it seems that they who have a truth to reveal also have a lie to hide".
I WILL BE EXPLAINING DETAILFULLY VERY VERY SOON. I WANT TO FURTHER PERCEIVE FIRSTLY YOUR MIND FRAME WITH WHAT EVER YOUR RESPONSE MIGHT BE.
There is no point wasting time with people who are not ready to live and let others live.
Thank you. See bro, the quran was not reveal in context,it was verse by verse revelation, quoting the whole verse or single verse is irrelevant. Just for argument sake, let us quote verse 101 and 102: Surah 5:101-102: “O ye who believe! Ask not questions about things which if made plain to you, may cause you trouble …Some people before you did ask such questions, and on that account lost their faith.” (Yusuf Ali) Does not this imply that the RIGHT question can lead someone to lose his faith ? Why is asking question mean the loosing of one's faith ? Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 3, Number 92: Narrated Abu Musa: The Prophet was asked about things which he did not like, but when the questioners insisted, the Prophet got angry. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Quran 5:101. We Need Answers! by malvisguy212: 7:15am On Mar 15, 2016 |
BETATRON: ..lol...you'll be fit for the post of security oh..just kidding
Back to the verse
It is known that islam is a religion unlike many others which welcomes dialogues, questions, debates and reasoning...the prophet is narrated to have said "ask me ask me before you loss me" imam Ali is narrated to have said " knowledge is the lost property of a believer pick it up where-ever you find it",, it is also a famous narration from the prophet that he said "seek knowledge from cradle to gave,,and seek knowledge even it be in china"
The koran is also known to support intellectual and scholarly endeavors in many verses..some of which include
1-“Recite: In the name of thy Lord who created man from a clot. Recite: And thy Lord is the Most Generous Who taught by the pen, taught man that which he KNEW not.” (Quran, 96:1-5)
2-“And they shall say had we but listened or used REASON, we would not be among the inmates of the burning fire.” (Quran, 67:10)
3--“Are those who have knowledge and those who have no knowledge alike? Only the men of understanding are mindful. ” (Quran, 39:9)
So what is koran5vs101 speaking about
Koran5vs101 speaks about irrelevant and unneeded questions, questions which would only cause arm and do no good..example of such question is asking where once dead wife, mother et al is in(paradise or hell) such questions could cause arm if it is revealed to the person for instance that these people are in hell...other such questions is what the koran speaks of in the above verse...not the general search for knowledge @ ari3l. The next verse even state the reason why Allah did not want muslims to ask question: Verse 102 " A people asked such [questions] before you; then they became thereby disbelievers." And the hadith record, muhammad was annoy for question being thrown at him: Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 3, Number 92: Narrated Abu Musa: The Prophet was asked about things which he did not like, but when the questioners insisted, the Prophet got angry. Why did Allah and Muhammad discourage people from asking questions? What is Islam trying to hide? Is blind faith the way to Islam? Why did Muhammad become angry at those who asked him questions? Why were people warned by Allah not to ask questions? How is that in Islam, questioning can lead to losing one’s faith? Does not this prove that even the right answers can lead to losing one’s faith in Islam? Only an information control cult would discourage anyone from asking questions. Is it rational to accept any one religion as the true religion without investigating or questioning it? Surely not! Therefore, we will now question Muslims about the teachings of Islam. |

snailspeed: I dont understand your question bro.
But for the record, the early church leaders rejected all the pagan celebrations including Christmas. These celebrations where introduced and enforced by the Catholic church. The early church leaders were Jews and they never endorsed any of those pagan festivals. It was pure idol worship that could never mix with Gods way you said christmas was a pagan festival, right ? Will the early church leader celebrate christmas if it is a pagan ritual ? What evidence do you have that this church leader wanted to incorporate christmas with peganism ? I believe they were only influence with the date setting and not the manner of celebration. |

What if your birthday fall on saturday, will you celebrate it ? For God sake, people, this pagans gods do NOT exist. E.g,Christmas tree, exchanging gifts, carols etc. The only thing that really changed was the name christmas tree is not in the bible, call it sin or not, it non of my business. What I'm simply saying is that you believe your "God" has the power to ensure that he moulds the world in such a way as to ensure that no kid have to suffer that way...or doesn't he? If you have such powers can you bear to see any kid starve like that?? So the kid serves your God and starvation is the reward right? Go and see the children of "unbelivers" swim in abundance...later your God owns everything on earth, but the irony is that maybe he just forgot to give common bread to these starving kids of his. wake up. Christianity Etc › Re: How The Passover Reveals Jesus Christ by malvisguy212(op): 7:28am On Mar 13, 2016 |
malvisguy212: The festival of the Passover has been celebrated by Jews for thousands of years. It is the retelling of the great story of how God redeemed the Jewish nation from enslavement in Egypt. The celebration itself was given to the Jews while they were still in Egypt. The original celebration centered around the Passover lamb, which was sacrificed and its blood put over the doorposts as a sign of faith, so that the Lord passed over the houses of the Jews during the last plague poured out on the Egyptians - the killing of every firstborn. To a large degree, the Passover lamb has been eliminated from the Passover festival (with the only remnant being the roasted lamb shank bone).
The New Testament says that Jesus is our sacrificial Lamb. The Passover lamb was to be a "male without defect," Exodus 12:5 The animals you choose must be year-old males without DEFECT, and you may take them from the sheep or the goats. Jesus forestshadowing this sacrifice in the new testament: 1Peter 1:18-19 For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, but with the precious blood of Christ,A LAMB WITHOUT BLEMISH OR DEFECT.
In addition, when the lamb was roasted and eaten, NONE OF ITS BONES WERE TO BE BROKEN. This fact was also prophesized for the Messiah, whose bones were not to be broken: Exodus 12:46 "It must be eaten inside one house; take none of the meat outside the house. DO NOT BREAK ANY OF THE BONES.
Again our Lord Jesus christ forestshadowing this event: John 19:32, 33, 36 The soldiers therefore came, and broke the legs of the first man, and of the other man who was crucified with Him; but coming to Jesus, when they saw that He was already dead, THEY DID NOT BREAK HIS LEGS ;... For these things came to pass, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, "Not a bone of Him shall be broken." Psalm 34:20 He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken.
It was customary during crucifixion to break the leg bones of the person after a few hours in order to hasten their death. The only way a person could breathe when hanging on a cross was to push up with his legs, which was very exhausting. By breaking the legs, death followed soon by asphyxiation. However, in the case of Jesus, they broke the legs of the other two men, but did not break His, since He was already dead.
Passover symbolism Much of the symbolism of Jesus' last Passover week is lost to us because we are unaware of the customs of the time. For example, Jesus came into the city of Jerusalem five days before the lamb was killed in the temple as the Passover sacrifice for the sins of the people of Israel. Five days before the lamb was to be sacrificed, it was chosen. Therefore, Jesus entered Jerusalem on lamb selection day as the lamb of God. The people did not understand the significance of this, since they greeted Him with palm branches and hailed Him as King, shouting "Hosanna," which means "save us." However, they were not looking for a spiritual Savior, but a political savior. Jesus' reaction was to weep, since He realized that they did not understand the Messiah's purpose in coming: Luke 19:38 saying, "BLESSED IS THE KING WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD; Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!"
And the reaction of Jesus is :
Luke 19:41 And when He approached, He saw the city and WEPT over it,
The day Jesus was crucified was the day of the Passover celebration and the day that the Passover lamb was to be sacrificed. For the previous 1,200 years, the priest would blow the shophar (ram's horn) at 3:00 p.m. - the moment the lamb was sacrificed, and all the people would pause to contemplate the sacrifice for sins on behalf of the people of Israel. At 3:00, when Jesus was being crucified, He said, "It is finished" at the moment that the Passover lamb was sacrificed and the shophar was blown from the Temple. The sacrifice of the lamb of God was fulfilled at the hour that the symbolic animal sacrifice usually took place. Matthew 27:46, 50 And about the ninth hour [3:00 p.m.] Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, "ELI, ELI, LAMA SABACHTHANI?" that is, "MY GOD, MY GOD, WHY HAST THOU FORSAKEN ME?"... And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit.
The festival of unleavened bread began Friday evening (at sunset). As part of the festival, the Jews would take some of the grain - the "first fruits" of their harvest - to the Temple to offer as a sacrifice. In so doing, they were offering God all they had and trusting Him to proved the rest of the harvest. It was at this point that Jesus was buried - planted in the ground - as He said right before His death. Paul refers to Jesus as the first fruits of those raised from the dead in 1 Corinthians. As such, Jesus represents the fulfillment of God's promise to provide the rest of the harvest - resurrection of those who follow the Messiah. Christianity Etc › Re: The Difference Between RELIGION And CHRISTIANITY. by malvisguy212(op): 7:27am On Mar 13, 2016 |
malvisguy212: There are differences between Christianity and religion, Many are GOING TO CHURCH but few are GOING DOWN THE ROAD WHICH LEADS TO LIFE. Many are RELIGIOUS but few are RIGHT WITH GOD.
Religion is DOING while Christianity is DONE. When Jesus cried on the cross, "it is finished" The work of our salvation was FINISHED, DONE, ACCOMPLISHED and COMPLETED. A religious man may be likened as a man who try to swim from river kaduna to niger by his own strength, he will never make it. But the man who is save by faith is likened to be a man who get on a ship, hoping it will take him to his destination. This man simply rests upon the ship and lets the ship do all the work.
THIS ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN RELIGION AND CHRISTIANITY. 1. RELIGION: "Salvation is something I must do. I must somehow earn or gain salvation by the way I live."
CHRISTIANITY: "Salvation is something only God can do. Salvation is of the LORD!" (Eph. 2:8-9).
2. RELIGION: Religion is summed up in one word: DO--man trying to DO different things to please God and earn His favor.
CHRISTIANITY: Christianity is summed up in one word; DONE--Christ dying on the cross to save sinful man (John 19:30).
3. RELIGION: The religious man is busy "working" (doing good works) in order to be saved.
CHRISTIANITY: The saved person is "not working" (Rom. 4:5) but is RESTING upon the finished work of Another. Although he must beware (1 peter 5:
4. RELIGION: RELIGION is man trying to BRING HIMSELF TO GOD (by human effort, good works, ritualism, traditionalism, sacraments, etc.).
CHRISTIANITY: CHRISTIANITY is Christ BRINGING US TO GOD on the basis of what He did for us on the cross, NOT by our own effort. (1 Peter 3:18).
5. RELIGION: Man trying to please God in the wrong way (Rom. 8:8--"So then they that are in the FLESH cannot please God" .
CHRISTIANITY: Man truly pleasing God in the only way (Hebrews 11:6--"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him" .
6. RELIGION: The religious man is seeking to establish his own righteousness by ignoring the way of the righteousness of God (Rom. 10:3).
CHRISTIANITY: The saved man is satisfied with the perfect righteousness of Jesus Christ (2 Cor. 5:21).
7.RELIGION: Religion is pictured in Genesis 3 by the fig leaves that Adam and Eve made for themselves--a terrible covering (Gen. 3:7).
CHRISTIANITY: Salvation is pictured in Genesis 3 by the coats of skin which God provided by way of the shedding of BLOOD--a perfect covering (Gen. 3:21).
8.RELIGION: CAIN'S RELIGION--"I bring to God the labour of my own hands" (Gen. 4:3). CHRISTIANITY: ABEL'S FAITH--"I bring to God a blood sacrifice. An innocent substitute must die to save me" (Gen. 4:4).
Good works done by sinful man can never please a holy God. The greatest good work is GOD'S WORK accomplished by Jesus Christ who offered Himself on the cross as the sinner's Substitute. Thus we are not saved by good works but we are saved unto good works: "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them" (Ephesians 2:10). "For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure" (Philippians 2:13).
Are you resting fully in the finished work of Christ? Are you trusting in Jesus Christ, WHO HE IS, WHAT HE HAS DONE FOR YOU and WHAT HE HAS SAID IN HIS WORD? "Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else" (Isaiah 45:22). a |

So, as the child's father, you would give him some basic, good advice and then let him go off and make his own mistakes? You would not run behind him and molly coddle him, correct? But what if he fell and skinned his knee? He would learn to be more careful, correct? So, although you have the power to interfere and prevent your child's pain, you would CHOOSE to show your love by letting him learn his own lessons? Of course. Pain is part of growing up. He hears our prayers, and answers every sincere prayer if we meet His conditions. We must not expect that every answer will be "yes", since we are sinners and do not always ask what is best for us. Sometimes His answer is "No’ and sometimes it is "wait." Hebrew 10:36 say: Hebrews 10:36 36 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. A sinner do not know the will of God, God will is more important than ours. And to the righteous; God is not bound to keep our time, that which do not come in our time may be hasten in His time. God is eternal and does not measure time as we do. 2 Peter 3:8: "Beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day." |

Empiree: Answer:
And this Qur'an is not such as could ever be produced by other than Allah (Lord of the heavens and the earth), but it is a confirmation of (the revelation) which was before it [i.e. the Taurat (Torah), and the Injeel (Gospel), etc.], and a full explanation of the Book (i.e. laws and orders, etc, decreed for mankind) - wherein there is no doubt from the the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists).
Say: "If the mankind and the jinns were together to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they helped one another." [Qur'an 17:88]
And if you (Arab pagans, Jews, and Christians) are in doubt concerning that which We have sent down (i.e. the Qur'an) to Our slave (Muhammad Peace be upon him ), then produce a surah (chapter) of the like thereof and call your witnesses (supporters and helpers) besides Allah, if you are truthful. [Qur'an 2:23]
Or do they say: "He (Muhammad(P)) has forged it?" Say: "Bring then a surah (chapter) like unto it, and call upon whomsoever you can, besides Allah, if you are truthful!" [Qur'an 10:37-38]
Or they say, "He (Prophet Muhammad(P)) forged it (the Qur'an)." Say: "Bring you then ten forged surah (chapters) like unto it, and call whomsoever you can, other than Allah (to your help), if you speak the truth!" [Qur'an 11:13]
Or do they say: "He (Muhammad(P)) has forged it (this Qur'an)?" Nay! They believe not! Let them then produce a recital like unto it (the Qur'an) if they are truthful. [Qur'an 52:33-34] Allah knows, the quran must have been in a revelry with other books that is why this surah was reveal. Allah is inconsistent with his message, prophecy and promise. Surah 8:65: “O Prophet! Rouse the Believers to the fight. If there are TWENTY amongst you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish TWO HUNDRED: if a HUNDRED, they will vanquish a THOUSAND of the Unbelievers.” (Yusuf Ali) Allah made a prophecy, twenty muslims will defect two hundred unbelievers. The all-knowing Allah stated very positively and confidently that “if a hundred, they WILL vanquish a thousand of the Unbelievers.” No ambiguity in this prophecy of Allah. Can it be expressed any more clearer or any more definite than this? How did the muslims take this task ? Ishaq: 326: “Abdullah told me that when this verse came down it was a SHOCK TO THE MUSLIMS WHO TOOK IT HARD. THEY WERE AFRAID, as the odds were too great. So Allah relieved them and cancelled the verse with another: ‘Now has Allah relieved you and He knows that there is a weakness among you, so if there are 100 (rather than 20) they shall vanquish 200.’” Just one verse later, Allah abolished his INFALLIBLE PROPHECY. Yes! Allah abrogated his own divine prophecy which guarantees the divine backing of his warriors: Surah 8:66: “For the present, Allah hath lightened your task, for He knoweth that there is a weak spot in you: But even so, if there are a HUNDRED OF YOU, patient and persevering, they will vanquish two hundred, and if a thousand, they will vanquish two thousand, with the leave of Allah: for Allah is with those who patiently persevere.” (Yusuf Ali) The fault here came from allah and not the believers, in both verses, in the requirements on the part of the warriors. In both the Surahs, they were still required to be “PATIENCE AND PERSEVERING.” So their end of the bargain remains the same. (1) Why did Allah’s prophecy in Surah 8:65 fail in its fulfillment? (2) Does not this prove that Allah is incapable of seeing through to the fulfillment of his prophecies? (3) Does not this prove that Allah cannot be the Almighty God as you claim him to be? (4) Why did Allah abrogate his own prophecy? (5) Does not this prove that there are FAIL prophecy in the quran ? |

JimsonJaat001: FIVE PILLARS OF ISLAM IN THE BIBLE. 1-(DECLARATION OF FAITH). Mark 12:29. And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: 2-(PRAYER). Matthew 26:39. ...And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed,. 3-(ALMS). Hebrews 10:24. ...And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 4-(FASTING). Matthew 4:2 After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. 5-(PILGRIMAGE) PSALMS 84:5-6 Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, Whose heart is set on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baca,.. ....Well I have said mine, you can choose whatever mood you are going to turn to it "for he whoever that decides to be ignorant, let him be ignorant" - 1Cor 14:38 God is ONE, who say He is two ? Can you back up your claim in the bible ? Matthew 26:39. "He went a little further, feel on his kneel and pray" "He went a little further" when did jesus have the time to wash his face and nose to pray ? The pagans also prostrate to pray, are they also muslims ? Sahih Bukhari, Volume 6, Book 60, Number 23: Narrated By ‘Asim bin Sulaiman: I asked Anas bin Malik about Safa and Marwa (i.e. two mountains at Mecca). Anas replied, “We used to consider (i.e. going around) them a custom of the Pre-Islamic period of Ignorance, so when Islam came, we gave up going around them. Then Allah revealed, ‘Verily, Safa and Marwa (i.e. two mountains at Mecca) are among the Symbols of Allah. So it is not harmful of those who perform the Hajj of the House (of Allah) or perform the Umra to ambulate (Tawaf) between them.’” (Surah 2:158) [End of Quote] Surah 2:158: “Lo! (the mountains) As- Safa and Al-Marwah are among the indications of Allah. It is therefore no sin for him who is on pilgrimage to the House (of Allah) or visiteth it, to go around them ( as the pagan custom is).” (Pickthall) How can the very same two mountains that were sacred to the pagans become the “Symbols of Allah” all of a sudden? Moreover, how is it that the very same pagan ritual of running between the two hills is also retained in Islam? In addition, why was the Arab pagan ritual of going around the Ka’ba seven times, also retained in Islam? In the Hindu marriage rite of Saptapadi, the married couple circumnavigate the fire seven times. In the Islamic ritual of Tawaf, Muslims also circumnavigate the Ka’ba seven times. In both of these rituals, religious phrases are repeated during the circumambulation. Some of the rituals that Muslims follow during the Hajj are the same as the rites observed by Hindus in their worship of Shiva. Take note of some of the striking similarities: (1) Both Hindu and Muslim male devotees are required to shave their heads during their pilgrimage. (2) And similar to their Hindu counterparts, male Muslim pilgrims are also required to dress in a garment consisting of two sheets of white cloth. This type of garment is known as Dhoti in Hinduism. (3) Just as the worshippers of Shiva observe a rite in which they walk around their object of reverence seven times, Muslim pilgrims also walk around the Ka’ba seven times. (4) Both their objects of reverence are Black Stones. In Hinduism, the Black Stone is known as Shiva lingam. (5) While Hindus drink water from the Ganga River as part of the sacred rites in their worship of Shiva, Muslims drink from the Well of Zamzam during the Hajj. (6) Additionally, the Crescent moon, which is associated with the Hindu deity Shiva, is also a symbol for Islam. In the Hindu portrayal of the Shiva symbol, the crescent moon is always painted across his forehead. Moreover, in every portrayal of Shiva, there is always a depiction of a snake curled around his neck. Weirdly, in pre-Islamic times, Allah is supposed to have sent a snake to guard the treasures of the Ka’ba. |

Zoharariel: 1.) Proverbs 12:22 says: Lying lips are abomination to the Lord.
But in 1 Samuel 16:1-4, God commanded Samuel:
Fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons. And Samuel said, How can I go? if Saul hear it, he will kill me. And the Lord said, Take an heifer with thee, and say, I am come to sacrifice to the Lord. And Samuel did that which the Lord spake, and came to Bethlehem.
Obviously God commanded Samuel to lie, as he was sent to find a king and not to sacrifice to the Lord.
If this is not fraud, then I wonder what it is.
2.) The book of Exodus 33:20 reports God saying to Moses: Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.
1 Timothy 6:16 also says: Whom no man hath seen, nor can see.
But we read a different story in Exodus 24:9-11:
Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel: And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness. And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink.
The Prophet Moses and Aaron and the seventy elders of the Israelites not only saw God with their eyes but also had a feast with him.
Now, juxtapose the text above with the summerian text below and tell me the difference.
2109 B.C. - Enlil (Yahweh) ordered Moses up Mt. Sinai, landed his rocket on the mount and, with an amplifier, told, the Israelites to reject all other Nibiran gods, spend every seventh day worshiping him, subjugate women and kids, refrain from murder, adultery, theft and false witness. They must not, he demanded, crave others’ homes, wives, slaves and property. He gave Moses stone tablets he’d inscribed with his commandments and showed him how to build a temple and anArk of the Covenant for the tablets. Above the tablet drawer in the Ark, Moses must build a Talk-To-Enlil communicator (sporting two gold cherubs). Through the Ark, they could message Enlil, pose their question, and get his “Yes” or “No” answers.
My point is; religion is a gigantic fraud. Stop being deceived by the Bible & the Quran - Allah is the same entity as Yahweh, and he died a very long time ago! Ecclesiastes 3:7 states, "There is "a time to keep silence, and a time to speak." This is a very relevant verse, especially in times of war. God, to protect Samuel's life, told Samuel not to tell "each and every" reason for his visit. Samuel was there for other reasons that are not specifically in the text. Samuel did not tell a lie. He did come in peace, which addressed the only question asked. He answered it truthfully. If Samuel had been asked for every reason of his visit and everything he intended to do on his visit, only then would he had been accountable for telling every reason, etc. But he wasn't asked for every reason, and God, being omniscient, knew he would not be. So God gave Samuel the truth which he was to speak before the question was ever on the lips of the elders. Samuel repeated the truth of God. Moses did NOT see God, moses only saw God glory. |

mustymatic: After putting up these rubbish, I definitely know (not think ) that Allah is the one true God...the God of Adam, Noah, Moses, Jesus, Abraham, Muhammad peace be upon them all. But seriously ur post is pointless especially the enemy part so answer this question: Surah 6:112: “So have We appointed for every Prophet an enemy – devils of men and Jinns; who inspire each other with seductive, deceptive speech which leads astray.” Instead of protecting the prophets, why should Allah personally appoint “devils of men and Jinns” to seduce the prophets to commit sin? |

malvisguy212: In the Bible we can read how. God cares for his prophets. He protects them from being deceived by their adversaries:
Psalms 105:14-15: “And God did not allow any human to defraud them, But on their account he reproved kings, Saying: ‘Do not you men touch my anointed ones, And to my prophets do nothing bad.’”
In complete contrast, we find Allah doing the very opposite. He defrauds the prophets by appointing evil men and demons to lead them astray.
Surah 6:112: “So have We appointed for every Prophet an enemy – devils of men and Jinns; who inspire each other with seductive, deceptive speech which leads astray.”
Instead of protecting the prophets, why should Allah personally appoint “devils of men and Jinns” to seduce the prophets to commit sin? Will the true God scheme with the demons to lead astray his own prophets? Can you not see the immense difference between Allah and Jehovah? Who do you think behaves like a true Creator? Who do you think behaves like a true God?
Surah 32:13: If We had so willed, We could certainly have brought every soul its true guidance: but the Word from Me will come true, “I will fill Hell with Jinns and men all together.” (Yusuf Ali)
How can you submit to a deity who intentionally holds back guidance for the sole pleasure of filling Hell with mankind (and Jinns)? How can you submit to a deity who is more eager in fulfilling his quota of people in Hell rather than guiding them to their salvation?
Surah 5:41: “He whom Allah doometh unto sin, thou (by thine efforts) wilt avail him naught against Allah. Those are they for whom the WILL OF Allah IS THAT HE CLANS NOT THEIR HEART . Theirs in the world will be ignominy, and in the Hereafter an awful doom.” (Pickthall) A |
