Looking at the press statement released by the FG in my humble opinion I don't think the man has done anything wrong in India.. PRESS STATEMENT THE REPATRIATION OF IBRAHEEM EL-ZAKZAKY FROM INDIA The Federal Government wishes to inform the public about the latest development in the Ibraheem El-zakzaky medical trip controversies to India. The Government notes with dismay the acts of misconduct exhibited by El-zakzaky that necessitated his repatriation. The earlier statement of 14th August 2019 by the Government addressed the issues that would have raised some questions with the latest occurrences and particularly the uncelebrated return of El-zakzaky from India. The public may note that El-Zakzaky’s actions in India demonstrated malicious intents that were capable of embarrassing the Governments of Nigeria and India. With total disrespect and complete loss of decorum for international procedures while in India, he initiated contacts with a team of lawyers led by Ali Zia Kabir Chaudary and Gunjan Singh in that country. He also contacted some Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), such as the Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC) and other Shiite groups. His aim was to seek asylum and eventually relocate to another country. It is important to note that if an Indian court had granted El-zakzaky asylum or leave to travel to another country, it would have violated the Nigerian court order that granted him permission to travel for medical treatment. However, he used the opportunity of being in India to attempt to internationalise his cause by mobilising the Rights groups. Even most unfortunate and rather embarrassing as earlier stated, was his quest to be relocated to a 5-Star hotel to receive visitors instead of being admitted in the hospital as a sick person he claimed to be. In spite of his misconduct, El-zakzaky’s spouse went further to antagonize the Indian and Nigerian security agents and accused the latter of killing her children. These acts were aimed at winning international sympathy as well as disparaging the Nigerian Government. Having subordinated the quest for medical treatment to other ulterior motives, it became obvious that El-zakzaky was focused on realising some sinister motives thus the decision to return him to Nigeria. From what I just read in Danjuma's account , it would take a divine intervention for us to have a Nigerian president of Igbo origin during the life time of all this retired Generals, their fear is not for the future of Nigeria state but it's coming from their past misdeeds against the tribe. |
The problem is with the bunch of bribes collecting bastards parading themselves as labour learders the movements they agreed to called off the strikes without first getting reasonable commitment from the federal government I knew the labour learders have been compromised |
Is like Kalu doesn't know the difference between KARA and RUGA , they are both fulani's words and mean different things, the latter though used to develop English sentence that meant appropriately same thing as the word suggested in fulani's language and is different from the former which simply mean "Cattle market", what Kalu did then was a cattle market and not RUGA. For the sake of clarity let's quickly go through some of the distinct differences and similarities between the two words:. KARA is a cattle market , RUGA intended to be a Cattle colony or settlement. KARA required just some parcel of lands for the traders to display their cattle, sheep ,goats etc . RUGA required large expense of land running into thousand of Hectares to create settlement for the herdsmen and their families and the attendant social amenities. KARA has no facilities for residential purpose, just an avenue for the sellers and buyers of cattle to meet and do business . RUGA required residential buildings , roads , hospital , abattoirs , schools but, electricity supply, veterinary clinics and other social amenities . KARA is temporary in the sense that the traders could be relocated if the market is no longer desire in that area , may be due to development. ...RUGA is permanent as the inhabitants would become settlers in the area and would be difficult or impossible to relocate them if the area later develop to have the status of "lekki" or "maitama" Shops and stalls built in KARA are rented out to traders for a price thereby bring in revenue to the government. RUGA intended to be free for the settlers and all amenities provided at government's expenses . Tbc |
The best way to go about it is to maintain a civil action against the senator for assaulting the lady and pray for an exemplary and general damages of like #500m for violenting the lady's fundamental human rights of personal liberty and dignity of human person @all @all the lady fit go home with like #50m or more, the senator would mostly likely ask for out of court settlement and paid up reasonable amount of money to compensate the lady, God's blessings some time come in mirage form, if any senator assault me like this, I won't involved police ooo na court straight, who knows whether na slaps I go chop enter next level? |
Tzadeola:This seemed like a long premeditated plans, they started subtly when they said that history as a subject should be stopped in all public secondary schools and that means they would no longer employed history teachers ,no one will sit for the subject in WAEC and NECO again by this the coming generation will not know anything about the jihad of uthman Danfodio in the Northern region , they would never be able to understand that the Fulani came from futa jalon in Sudan , the identity of all tribes and ethnicity will soon be forgotten and very soon some one will move a motion in National assembly to say that once you have stayed in a particular state for certain numbers of years you will automatically become an indigene of that state , that means a Fulani man staying in Lagos or enugu for like 10 years could contest as a Governor of the State, next the history of Nigeria and different ethnic groups would be rewrite and upcoming generation would be made to believed that a particular tribe is superior to others, they won't be able to argue because they will be seeing the preferential treatments people from this tribe are getting from all area of live endeavors ranging from school admission to employment after school to social amenities in their area to appointment into political post , the military and armed forces would be in their pockets and the emir that would emerge from what innocently look like a cattle ranches now would be declared "first class emir "in their various locations, imagine having 6 to 8 first class emir in a state from a particular ethnic groups, if you have ever had opportunity to see what a KARA is ,you will understand how this thing will work out, Kara usually start like a small cattle market and before you know it grow bigger and dominate it's environment due to continuously migration of cattle rearers from various locations to settle in and around the market finally one day the reality will dawn on every tribes both the major and the minor that there would longer be anything like the threat of secession to wrestle or to get your demand pushed at the center anymore because fulanis living with you can no longer be driven out nor can you convince them to go with Biafra or oduduwa or any other tribes , it's a game plan made for future political gains but the present governors of the concerned state are more concerned about what would come to their pockets than the likely implications of this forceful intergration in the nearest Future. |
BrokenTV:The problem is that some of the governors are already compromising and pledging their state's land without prior consultation with the indigenes , they are doing this for personal interest. |
Your friend ought to have proceeded to the company and see things by himself ,what if the secretary has a candidate whom she fear may not be considered because of your friend's profile ,he could have simply check on the people in the office under the pretence that he was not sure of the next date for the interview |

“We are therefore demanding Muslim ministers in all the states where the governors are Christians (Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Ondo and Ekiti). This request should be considered against the backdrop of the gross marginalisation which Yoruba Muslims have faced in the past] the coordinator of MURIC seemed to be making some senses here so let's do it in his own way in the spirit of justice and equity as he put it , only that he failed to add that Where Muslim are the governor in any state in Nigeria Christian should be made the ministers and where we have both Christian and Muslim as Governor and Deputy Governor respectively the practitioner of African traditionalist religion should be considered for the ministerial appointment after all we are all one Nigeria and everything is being done in the spirit of equity and justice ![]() |
He ought to say federal government should not embarrassed itself by playing hide and seek and employing all sort of delay tactics on issue of minimum wages. |
asuustrike1:It does not support church wedding either the only part of wedding ceremony recognized by the Bible as practice in this part of the world is what we called "Engagement " especially the part where bride price is paid and the consent of both parents obtained anything apart from that na "format". |

Saturday Magazine | Youth Magazine Canadian doctors protest pay rise while Nigerian lawmakers defend theirs By Gbenga Adebambo | 24 March 2018 | 4:31 am “The world has enough for everyone’s need, but not enough for everyone’s greed”- Mahatma Gandhi Wonders, they say, will never end. About two weeks ago, a story about a group of Quebec doctors in Canada rejecting a proposed pay raise garnered international attention and wowed the international community. Around the same time, Senator Shehu Sani revealled that the monthly allowance of a Nigerian senator gross around N13.8million. Apart from the monthly package, each senator is given the opportunity to execute constituency projects to the tune of N200 million per annum. Advertisement Advertisement However, Sani’s disclosure does not cover a senator’s allowances for cars, housing, wardrobe, furniture, etc, running to several millions of naira. With this recent disclosure, it is now firmly ascertained than a Nigerian senator receives 767 times the basic minimum wage (N18, 000) of an average civil servant in a month. About the same time, nearly 700 physicians signed a petition demanding the cancellation of pay raises for Quebec physicians. The Canadian doctors protested that they were being paid too much (yes, too much). The physicians’ group said it could not in good conscience accept pay raises when working conditions remained difficult for others. The petition letter reads: “We, Quebec doctors, who believe in a strong public system, oppose the recent salary increases negotiated by our medical federations. “We are asking that the salary increases granted to physicians be cancelled and that the resources of the system be better distributed for the good of the health care workers and to provide health services worthy to the people of Quebec.” The group said members were offended and shocked that they would receive raises when nurses, clerks and other professionals are struggling and facing very difficult working conditions. They felt appalled by lack of access to required services by patients and the nagging disinterest of the government in the total wellbeing of other professionals. Bizarrely, this petition didn’t originate from the general populace, but among the physicians themselves. The news, naturally, elicited plenty of positive responses. The Washington Post called the move “utterly Canadian.” It is poignant to know that these Canadian doctors actually deserve the pay rise. In Canada, it is worth remembering that physicians often spend more than a decade on post-secondary education, while accruing an average debt of nearly $100,000. Once licensed, they are categorised as independent contractors and are, therefore, not eligible for the same pensions and benefits, such as drug coverage and maternity leave, as other public employees. If the doctors could term their own pay increase as “indecent,” then I wonder what kind of description could be used for the unsustainable allowances for our legislators. I want to categorically say that I am openly ashamed of our reward system in Nigeria. Through our lopsided reward system, we have perpetuated decadence and eulogised impunity. We are a nation of victims; victims of a poor reward system. Nigerian legislators have over time been associated with jumbo pay, surreptitious allowances and ‘scandalous constituency fraud’ repackaged and re-named constituency allowances. Can we justify the constituency allowance collected by the Nigerian lawmakers? Our system is plagued by selfish politicians, who would rather milk the nation dry than have any part of their allowances negotiated for the benefit of the populace. It is no news that Nigeria has the highest paid legislature in the world. It is pitiable to note that the Nigerian constitution even stipulates that they shall be entitled to sit for 181 days out of 365 days. Literally, according to work ethics, they should be on part-time more or less .
