I commend you for this. I just wrote exactly these things you wrote, before. I've never seen him criticize the corrupt politicians or the Islamic clerics. He always likes to make a caricature of pastors because they're gentle.

I think the government ignored him, and he did that out of anger. I can remember when Ebonyi State Government came to my father's property, destroyed the uncompleted buildings there and used it to build fire service. Later, they seized the other one. At present, they're using mago mago to share the other land among themselves, without giving us any compensation. They're doing all these illegalities because we're from Anambra State. They also seized other lands owned by mostly Anambrarians. If I retaliate tomorrow, people will say all sorts of things. It's only in Nigeria that people in government will use their power to trample on the rights of others, yet we cry to high heavens that black lives matter if a white man does that. The hypocrisy of Africans is outrageous.

The deceased was, until her death a student of Bathelomew College of Health Technology, Shao in Moro local government area of Kwara State.

The deceased, until her death was doing her internship at Abebi Hospital Gerewu, and temporarily lived with her uncle at Gerewu due to proximity to her place of attachment.

She left home on Saturday 27th of June around 4pm and she did not return home till Sunday morning. The family reported to the police.

The police later found her corpse beside a river at Oko-oba in Gerewu village on Sunday morning, with matchet cuts on her head and she was suspected to have been raped.

Her corpse was deposited at the Ilorin General Hospital morgue

This is bad! People just kill with impunity. There's total absence of fear of God nowadays. However, mere looking at the scene, I don't really believe that this is a rape incident. Government should improve on security. May her soul rest in peace.

There's underfunding of education in Nigeria, and universities in the South West are not immune to underfunding and lack of adequate infrastructures.

Taa, shut up! Which 6 of the best? Na Biafra war pursue Adeboye comot from UNN. So many Yorubas are students in Eastern universities. Forget the useless ranking. No university is the best in Nigeria. They're all plagued with lack of infrastructures and underfunding. I don't want to mention names, but suffice it to say that most federal universities are living in past glory. Some of them have old buildings, run late academic calendars, have dirty, old and delapidated hostels, etc. It's the individual efforts of these guys that earned them first class in law school.

Why didn't the APC disqualify him before he became governor under its platform? Besides, the mistake was from NYSC, not Obaseki. He just went for a correction, because if he wins, the APC might use that against him in court. He didn't forge it.

I can't vouch for him. However, Jonathan worked in NDDC (when it was OMPADEC) as an ecologist, became a lecturer in a college of education. He was also a deputy governor before becoming a governor. He might have invested the little he had in business all those years. You may be right shaa.

Besides, the government knows the proper thing to do. Jonathan set up YouWin to encourage SMEs, through donation of grants. This government came and killed YouWin. NPower cannot solve the problem of unemployment, except the N30K is given at once and the beneficiaries will then be encouraged to use it to establish SMEs, while the government monitors them.

Therefore, NPower is just like a political tool. I believe that the government just feels like, "let's give so many people little so that they can sing our praises and vote for us again and again". This doesn't actually tackle the root of unemployment. Unemployment can only be tackled through the establishment and improvement of the SMEs. Let the government give out grants instead of stipends just like YouWin. Either YouWin is brought back or NPower's mandates are amended to really create jobs through the establishment of SMEs.

I believe that the government should have a rethink and tow that line this time around, by giving the whole stipend once, to the potential batch C beneficiaries, so that they can establish or improve their businesses. Giving them a paltry N30K monthly cannot ameliorate poverty or tackle unemployment. It's like using a cup to suck water from an ocean. No matter how the person tries, the ocean can never dry up, because the right equipment are not used.
