You're going to drop your jaw when you learn the amount of money generated through tax in Onitsha alone, not to talk of Enugu and environs. But why has this road remained this way?

This project has nothing to do with the magnanimity of MTN, which is a business, so don't get all happy. Every dime going into it will be recovered with toppings because you will be made to pay for it.

Which makes me wonder what the main tax paid by people is used for.
Why must you complain about everything?
Even his complaints are senseless and idiotic

Your question is preposterous. Which basketball club in Africa apart from Rivers Hoopers has won something valuable? Yes, Igbos dominate D'Tigers and D'Tigress, because there are more Igbos playing basketball, not because they have the best talents. Having the best talents is more of a subjective assertion. Talent is inherent in specific individuals, not heterogeneous ethnicities.
My question is to debunk a lie that suggests that previous D'Tigers teem have been chosen by quota system. That is a big lie.

It is only situational that the team us mostly populated by Igbos....no one had denied the igbos of a shot in basketball...

These boys are obviously this great because they're mostly American or European based with NBA exposure...there is no other science or conjecture that supports an assertion that Igbos are now being allowed to play basketball...

It has everything to do with Igbos because the boys are Igbos whether they are based in Nigeria or not.
The implication is that they got the chance to represent and play on merit knowing that Quota system doesn't fly overseas of which if they were based in Nigeria would likely not even be selected because of being igbo in lieu of the unwholesome sentiments and resentment of Igbos within the govt of the day.

Igbos must be giving you nightmares mares.
Cry all you want. The boys are Igbos and they got to play on merit!
I challenge you to name a D'Tigers team that had been chosen by quota system; What competition? Who was the coach? Who were the players?

1. When was ever the D'Tigres team chosen not on merit?
2. Like we have Kano Pillars, Mike Meteroes etc. Which notable Basketball club exist in SE that has won something consistently in the local league?

This team are all from the States... it has nothing to do with "Igbos" and people's jaundiced interpretation of "merit"

Lool this clown thought i wont read through those articles you pulled off google in a rush to counter my question. The fact remains no bank account has been hacked remotely. No one can hack a bank account without having someone working on the inside to hack thar account.
The guy efcc pulled obviously had an insider according to the report. The other article on cbn was because a group of hackers took down cbn website, no bank account was hacked. The other articles alluded to growing cyber crime brought about as a result of people making payment on fraudulent websites.

You didn't even read through the trash you rushed to paste here. You the one with a high level of ignorance.

Politicians are deceiving your kind with lies about their reason for voting against e transmission of result and you all are buying it. You are defending people that dont want free and fair elections, people that want election results to be manipulated right before they are counted. These are the same people that are glad to send confidential information via email, do electronic bank transfers but they dont want you the masses to enjoy e transmission of election result because of some illusionary hack. Continue to be deceived by them.
So let's address your folly in specifics. Was this statement not made by you?
so whose bank account has been hacked by an external party of recent via electronic means. I am not talking of atm card theft, i am talking of remote Access to people's bank account.
When a simple Google search put paid to your ignorant submission, then you shifted the goalpost with the below
The fact remains no bank account has been hacked remotely. No one can hack a bank account without having someone working on the inside to hack thar account.

2. The highlighted part shows you don't know squat about Cyber Crimes and security. A simple google search you will not put to use, you come on NL to disgrace yourself, trying to show a knowledge you patently lack.
3. You see that ignorant line of yours is simply put to shreads by a recent report of December 2020

Hackers use mobile emulators to steal millions of dollars from bank accounts
18 December 20208110
IBM Security Trusteer’s mobile security research team has uncovered a major fraud campaign that used mobile emulators to steal millions of dollars from financial institutions in Europe and the US within a matter of days.

The research team says that the hackers used an infrastructure of mobile device emulators to set up thousands of spoofed devices that accessed thousands of compromised accounts.

In each instance, a set of mobile device identifiers was used to spoof an actual account holder’s device, likely ones that were previously infected by malware or collected via phishing pages.

Using automation, scripting, and potentially access to a mobile malware botnet or phishing logs, the attackers, who have the victim’s username and password, initiate and finalise fraudulent transactions at scale. In this automatic process, they are likely able to script the assessment of account balances of the compromised users and automate large numbers of fraudulent money transfers being careful to keep them under amounts that trigger further review by the bank.

An emulator can mimic the characteristics of a variety of mobile devices without the need to purchase them and is typically used by developers to test applications and features on a wide array of device types.

IBM Trusteer says that the scale of the operation is one that has never been seen before, in some cases, over 20 emulators were used in the spoofing of well over 16,000 compromised devices.

Says the company: "The attackers use these emulators to repeatedly access thousands of customer accounts and end up stealing millions of dollars in a matter of just a few days in each case. After one spree, the attackers shut down the operation, wipe traces, and prepare for the next attack."

In subsequent attacks using the same tactics, IBM Trusteer was able to see evolution and lessons learned when the attackers evidently fixed errors from past attacks.

IBM Trusteer's intelligence team has also observed a trending fraud-as-a-service offering in underground venues that promises access to the same type of operation to anyone willing to pay for it, with or without the required skill.

"This lowers the entry bar for would-be criminals or those who plan to transition into the mobile fraud realm," says the research unit. "It also means this at-scale automation scheme can be adapted to almost any financial institution in a variety of countries and territories and is likely to become a growing trend among cybercriminals."

The names in the list I provided speak for themselves, very few of the folks named were of Northern Extraction

As for me..

Educated in London for secondary school at an elite London school

I went to a Russell Group top 10 university

Undergrad Degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics
Masters in Computer Science

Worked at a large number of Fortune 500 companies, notably JP Morgan, UBS, Nomura and IBM

Income circa 250,000 GBP per annum and Assets in the tune of millions

Core specialisms in Finance are FX, Interest Rate Derivatives, Equities and Credit products
Technology specialisms SQL variants (Sybase, Oracle and MS SQL server), UNIX, Linux, React, Node JS, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript and MT4 C based trading language
I have also managed teams across two major investment banks.

You?

Btw I am not even the best or the brightest of the cohort of Nigerian boys I was educated with in London. Two of my Igbo peers launched multimillion pound companies in Britain. One of whom was even on TV with the prime minister extolling the virtues of one of the products his company developed.

There was only one Northern boy in our school group, he flunked his exams and turned to islamic extremism the last time I checked. I wasn't so across tribal divisions as a child, but the Igbo boys were very clear that they felt he wouldn't amount to much. To the Northern boy's shame he didn't fail to live up to their low expectations.

Even then I have never shown any malice towards northerners, as I said to others I feel we are too culturally different to share a nation. So lets go our separate ways. If your people do better than those in the South (which I doubt) more power to you..

Why do you want to be hitched to a people who you don't get along with? It makes no sense.. huh
Shey you've landed? If you have all you claim, then it's a huge shame that you also have this to booth

1. Over-bloated Ego
2. Inferiority Complex - WFT are we going to do about all the stated CV, fake stats and investment claims
3. Lack of Polish - You claim you're educated, yet you come across as brash wannabe
4. Intelligence and Emotional Balance - Your sense of judgement, arguments and submission ain't just it
5. Fear of God - Why derive pleasure in hatred and deriding other human beings because of where they come from?

Don't worry about me. I do not need to splash my "achievements" on NL for some fake accolades.... but one piece of advise - If all these qualification are not fake, nor what you choose to aspire to be, then be grateful for God's gift and be humble with it. You've not achieve anything special yet

Sure! but we need to rationalize it thus, do we want the road to be fixed or we want our current "(in-)convenience" to continue. The untold hardship we went through at the early days of Lagos-Ibadan expressway, this is little compared to that. When someone put up a phone call to Fashola, he explained the reality of the choice being made. When that road is completed and beautifully done to standard, I bet you road users will not remember the incovenience
