Utter idiocy |
Larryndelaw:Now listen, just before Jonathan postponed 2015, Jega admitted on the floor of National Assembly that INEC had still not printed about one million PVCs. And a lot more yet undistributed. So clearly you could not disenfranchise millions of voters because of INEC inefficiency. And it was postponed well in advance, not hours to the polls opening. Let's be fair. It's 8 years since polls were postponed close to election. BUT INEC has had plenty of time to improve since. At least in 2015 Jonathan/PDP clearly explained reasons for postponement, not blaming opposition. But here APC is mischievously blaming PDP, never ready to take responsibility. |
13october:But we have had 8 years & 4 years to improve since. Card readers and PVCc have been used previously. So not all are being newly printed again. Are you saying repeating what happened 8 years ago in 2019 is what people voted APC for in 2015? So you're admitting that we have been returned to 8 years back at least. So "next level" APC are talking about to reach around 2012 level again from now if they win? |
Everyone knew APC means to rig the election. Even zombies say it openly. |
anjigirl:Please try to understand simple stuff before you comment. Immunity does not prevent investigation. They did not summon El Rufai but CCB chairman that has no immunity. Assets Declaration Form is a public record that under Freedom of Information bill signed into law by President Jonathan (something presidents/leader until Jonathan refused to) allows me, you and everyone to see public records of our public SERVANTS (yes, they are our servants, we pay them and elect them). Such documents should be produced upon request. Whether PDP or APC member's own. If you or the courts want to see Assets form for PDP governors in Delta, Rivers states, etc. They MUST produce them too. Since APC say only PDP people are thieves, El-Rufai should have no problem letting us see his form. Do you understand it better now? |
At least, that Victorian era degree is going. Almost every other girl with OND, HND or a degree is in Mass Com. Another one is Linguistics. Hardly any recent Linguistics graduate I have met has been able to explain what linguistics actually means. Never mind knowing Socio-lingustics, Neurolingustics or structural linguistics, etc. None could boast of a decent knowledge of a second modern language like French, Spanish etc. Most had no idea what philology is even about. And I only have people who studied linguistics decades ago (when studying actually imparted knowledge) in the extended family. I gleaned those those parts of Linguistics mentioned above from them growing up. And asking them about Linguistics as a curious child. |
On a cliff edge to plunge into the Atlantic Ocean any second, backward gear is the only way out. ![]() |
LoySupremo:You just gave him the attention he craves. That guy must be a guy with a confused sense of gender. Likely a guy who cross-dresses as woman. I cannot put up a laughing emoji because of the sadness of this thread. |
RIP. I have not seen anyone village people caused it. Because she's not from Edo? |
JaceBlaze:We need to get a new generation of people with fire in the belly, angry at our subservient nature, willing to progress and sweep away the dinosaur fossils in charge now. But most youth have been defeated, cowered, given poor orientation that quick money by any mean is more important. No genuine national identity or patriotism. You're a Yoruba, an Igbo, an Hausa, an Izon, an Edo, a Berom, Tiv, Kanuri and so on First. Then a Christian or Muslim then maybe thirdly a Nigerian. We cannot succeed this way. |
RTSC:They will think that we're that poor in Africa. Not knowing that the first lady will do shopping worth more than those 4 tokunbo trucks while in USA. |
Tolexander:Na so English hard to understand? Abi na reply before reading? ![]() He meant Queen of England has just made another $0.5m. RR is made in England. |
ZarZar:True. But many racists can conceal it very well. They know the legal implications of showing it. They are good pretenders. As long as you do not get too close like dating their children, you may never really know, but only suspect. Even outwardly nice work colleagues. |
FreeSpirited:Stop wasting your time. When you, a man tell them the truth, they want to do too know. I guess many ladies out there are just born to suffer heart break. Do not try to change their destiny. Just look a little handsome or better still be economically comfortable. Even if all the tell-tale signs are there that you are not a serious guy, they will still be with the man for donkey years. When they now finally get their long over due heart break, they begin demonising all men, even innocent & responsible ones. For their own poor choices. |
ok |
ZarZar:Well, many are like that. But very many of them are also very classy. I know this American babe married to a Nigerian guy. Both met while doing their PhD. A lovely girl. They have three kids now. If not for her accent, you would take her for an average girl from Nigeria. You will be surprised both her parents are black American. In the academic & professional environment, you see many correct ones. Just like Caribbeans. Racism is alive & well. A friend married a white babe in the late 90s. A pretty girl. All the girl's family refused to attend the wedding. Surprisingly her friends too did not attend too. The girl wept during the wedding reception. Trust 9ja, we all rallied to make that day unforgettable for her. I remember making a speech and saying that although her birth family has just rejected her, she now has a new family: all of us here & many back in Africa. She broke down & cried but smiled & danced for the rest of the ceremony. Sadly I heard they broke up some years ago, since we now live in different countries. The marriage never had support of her family. Most marriages like that seem to go well for around 5 to 15 years, later on the wicked racist family eventually succeed in scattering the couple. Instead of helping strengthen the marriage, they use every little issue in the marriage to say "we told you so. He just wanted to get passport/papers". Only fear succeed fully. That is my experience and observation over a few decades. |
For outrages pay as NASS members in a country of 18K minimum pay that many states cannot even pay nko? Firing squad then. Success in governance, economy and national progress bring respect to countries, not flags & emblems. |
sotall:You dey mind them. We see piles of headless bodies in forests all over Southern Nigeria, be it Okija or Osun, Ogun State has almost daily news of missing girls found dead without genitals. We pics of people with ritual body parts here from SW everyday. Yet they all claim only Edo has witchcraft. Is killing people korokoro in broad daylight not worse than witchcraft it all it exists? Nigeria is full of bigots. Even some Edo people have been brainwashed by outsiders. Before Anini in the 1980s was already Dr Oyenusi in the SW in the 1970s. One chance is a regular crime in Lagos. |
In the West, rape allegation is very easy & tricky. She only has to say no, even if she consented before you both started. If you keep doing it because you are close to climaxing, that is enough to be rape. If she wanted to get free from you and you hold her down in the position she was already in, these two charges would be likely. Do not think because she's maybe a black American or black European that it would make any difference. We do not know how this happened but fairly easy to happen & get sent to jail. |
eleojo23: ![]() Na proper ole buruku. When there are still some plots of land at Ibeju Lekki for 3m. |
Amberon:You missed the point. I purposely put Japan & Iceland. Not France, UK or Canada and others with a long history with black people. Japan is one of the most homogeneous countries in the world. A country where a minister of tourism, Nariaki Nakayama just 9 years ago was frustrated to confess that Japanese do not like foreigners. And was forced to resign. Japan Prime Minister Yasuhiro Nakasone said something similar back in 1986. Despite having an aboriginal Ainu people in Northern Japan, they do not see themselves as needing diversity. Going by that the face of Japan should not be black or mixed race. But everyone is deliberately trying to be inclusive. If a person with 1% black blood feels black, who are we to dictate how they should feel about themselves? |
lovelygurl:Very invalid. Our own dear Agbani won Miss world, how many Chinese women (around 700 million people), Indian women (around 620 million people) and many other non-black people can look up to Agbani in their own world? I for one from a pure vanity point of view find a black to slightly light skin tone lady most attractive. It does not mean that I'd not admire a pretty Caucasian or Asian lady. Blacks or mixed race kids are winning beauty pageants in Japan, Iceland, etc. We ourselves must try to avoid double standard, because we easily complain about others doing it. People need to build their self-esteem by themselves (in the family, community, etc), nobody else will do it for you. |
ednut1:No, woe unto them for colonising us. Because no colonisation, no independence. |
Is there anything/anybody those people are not mad at? The main thing is is she officially categorised as black? Obama is 50% black but we are happy to call him black. If he had claimed white, they would have been mega mad at him too. |
gadgetsngs:My thought exactly. Nothing tangible will happen again this year. Blaming Jonathan + low oil price = Perfect excuse for APC incompetence. |
AreaFada2:Lol. Just ignore them. See that one pretending like he didn't know they stopped you from commenting. Do not waste your time with them. Let them keep massaging their egos. |
Olu317:How can he bring forward is barred from commenting? This was your gang up plan, bar Areafada2 and then flood the thread with lies he cannot respond to. Even simple fair play, you people are afraid of. Shame on you guys. Anyhow, who says those so called evidence are genuine? ![]() Who cares about what your Muslim masters write or think of Yoruba? You lot are so pained & jealous that you have dedicated yourself to denying Benin history. Continue with your futility. I guess History2900 has already learnt not argue with bigoted narrow minded people. So you feed your Edo friend that he will miss your friendship? Who says he cares about such a worthless friendship? Maybe he grew up in Yorubaland to even keep a friend like you. You not be different from the usual traitor, backbitting behaviour while forming "respectful". ![]() |
OlaoChi:Suddenly you also now know Benin history more than Benin people. You are really taking yourself too important these days. Ebomisi is worshipped in Benin. Many other deified people are worshipped, even back in ancient Rome. How does worship of a deified Edo man of whatever name variant change anything? Chai, the thing dey pain una well well. ![]() So you think Benin people will do boi-boi like you people do boi-boi follow Hausa? And just let you write historical nonesense and take it. In your dreams. A case in politics: you see how Oyegun is doing his thing, balancing the over all interests of the many groups that make up APC. While Tinubu & his minions thought supporting Oyegun to be chairman means taking instruction from Tinubu. Edo people do not do that. |
OlaoChi:Chai! Knowing the futility of trying to twist history must be very painful. Especially considering the gargantuan efforts by so many of you "sophisticated & educated" people over the years. ![]() Hahahahha! What make you think your inconsequential opinion matters to anyone? Heck, why do you think the opinion of Yoruba people (very unstable in anything) who speak from both corners of their mouth even matter to Benin people? We are not talking of political betrayal of oneself and others here, but a concrete and illustrious history of Benin. ![]() |
onyedikachukwue:He who prevents an orderly/peaceful parting of ways courts a messy and catastrophic disintegration. Just what Boko, Daesh and other extremist groups are waiting & salivating for. ![]() |
history2900:Totally. No credibility whatsoever. They lost even more credibility by ganging up to silent AreaFad2. I hoped I would be wrong when I predicted it. You prevent someone from commenting or replying to posts, then flood it with papers written by you guys. And those information you supplied to foreign writers. Then go about saying you are scholars. You people cannot tolerate diverse opinions. Same role you lot have played to entrench tribalism & mediocrity in Nigeria, tagging along with the feudalistic North. Betraying yourselves, from Afonja, to Akintola, to even OBJ. Shame on you lot. You can silence me here also. @History2900, let them wallow in the narrow mindedness, tribalism, myopia & megalomania. No amount of their "dubious scholarship" as Areafada rightly calls it will make a dent on Benin History. |
MacLovington:Thank you Mac. I know these people. They are not tolerant as they claim. I could see from their attitude here that they were ganging up. They are very predictable. You guys can block me also. I do not give a flying fvck. ![]() |
