We4all: Your story is quite inspiring, and I'm glad things worked out for you. But encouraging people to tow your path doesn't hold sway, cos it may backfire. I know a guy who did something similar, and 10 years down the line, he is poorer than he was.
The truth is, if you can afford a flamboyant wedding, by all means, do it! This is because, weddings are memorable, and are expected to take place once in a life time.
There are three chapters in one's life:birth, marriage and death. If people celebrate births and funerals, then weddings shouldn't be less celebrated.
Nevertheless, if you can't afford a loud wedding, then opt for something small with few guests. But make it simple and classy, and don't be like the OP, cos serving his guests biscuits was in bad taste.
Being poor is one thing, planning right is another. @OP, you shouldn't have entertained your guests with biscuits,(cos I assume they were all adults). Instead, 2 mudus of rice served in take away packs could have done the magic. And if there was less money for malt, then you could have opted for zobo drinks which is cheaper and even more delicious than malt drinks.
The problem most Nigerians have when it comes to weddings is that, while they can afford to cater for only 50 guests, they end up inviting 500, just so they can have more contributions from them.
If your budget can only entertain 50 people, then plan for that number and don't end up inviting more numbers so you don't serve them biscuits just like the OP. As much as you took your time to type this, I must say you really don't understand the message the OP is passing. Hence, your points are rather insignificant to such very inspiring nd motivational post. #No go dey do pass your self# |
Romance › Re: Do I Break Up With Him? by mashad(m): 7:25pm On Jan 09, 2020 |
Fareee123: Hi elders in the house, I'm a lady, I'm 21 years old. There's this guy I've been dating for about 3 years, we got along so fast that it feels like I've known him all my life, he's in his final year and I'm in my third year, not in the same school though.
He used to call and text often until middle last year, he stopped calling like he used to, I still do the calling, but I got tired, he wasn't reciprocating, when I complained, he said he's always busy, I feel that if he loves me like he claims, he will always check on me, whenever we're together, the vibes of the relationship is still there, but when we aren't together, he's a different person.
There was a time I broke up, I blocked him, he found a way to reach me and we ironed things out, he changed for 2 weeks before he went to his normal self. He answers to my needs guys, he has been paying my rent since my first year in school, he gives me 10k every 2 weeks, he pays for my hair when I need him to + other stuffs too.
Do you think he can change or do I just leave the relationship?? Please ignore the errors, I'm not perfect. You are dating a yahoo boy and am sure you are not the only one he is seeing...the earlier you realise what define your happiness, the better..... |

saynotocultism: Lols, please disregard any comment trying to prove that NBM or any cult is not responsible for the killings and deaths. He is trying to let us know that NBM is a non governmental organization fighting for the black race and also fighting against oppression .Hypocrites, any organization / movement that supports barbaric initiation of new members shouldn’t be seen as an organization fighting for the blacks and oppressed in the society . I am sure he supports the radical initiation process and comes around to fool himself online . An organization that has butchers as office holders? Like seriously? What do you butcher ? When I joined, I wasn’t told to butcher meat but instead, the blacks you claim you protect and fight for are being butchered .
The sweetest thing I am happy for is that you will still get killed when other cult group come for you.
Another cult group: This man Na egede man, make dem drop am
Egede man: Please I am not like them ooo, I have my own ideology . I am a first class graduate in engineering and I have not slapped anybody before. Yes I am an axee man and I fight for the black race and oppressed .
Another cult group : mtchewwwww, chops of egede mans head.
Please if you want to fight for the oppressed, there are NGO,s that can do just that. Join anyone and be an active speaker . You cannot fight the oppressed from such a barbaric organization with barbaric initiation ceremony in the presence of radicals with firearms . Be wise because if you die , your issue will be settled with cash and if you are so active, all they will do for you is call your name during LP ( Black axxe songs ) . Be wise ... Cultist are cowards who portrays their supremacy only when in groups...They are the worst scaredy pants ever...I also have a story to share as an OOU undergraduate, well, if only NL will be interested. Aside that, I want to ask #OP what role did he play during the cultist attack @obafemi awolowo university that got Africa and several others killed(RIP). Nb : some names mentioned in your story trend more frequently during those days |

1. He lacks match fitness, as he has been without a club for some time now.
2. We need to accept the fact that he is 37 meaning it's a temporary fix thereby he won't be available for long, then we will have to go back to searching for a replacement. So why not get a permanent fix now than pushing the inevitable forward. I just wondered who asked you for all this... |
