One of the problems we have as a people is ...we are low information people...and low IQ.
All I hear here is personal interests...personal interests.
Now, here is the Timeline..
- Two coups took place and a democratically elected leader was held hostage.
- ECOWAS had an emergency meeting and all countries decided to place sanctions not just Tinubu or Nigeria.
It was meant to stop coups or discourage it. since then we have not had additional coups.
The difference between our way of thinking and the West...if US citizens know that putting sanctions will cost them more...just like support for Ukraine...they support the Govt because some decisions won't be positive but collectively makes sense. We had no money to continue paying subsidy. What is wrong with us.
Great100000: Bola Tinubu's U-turn on Niger sanctions received with relief in northern Nigeria.
why are they acting like illiterate? You can apply for NIN in the USA as well...if you need it to open bank account or get Sim card...is it when you land for Nigeria that you will start doing registration?
press9jatv: NIN registration centre spotted in the UK 🇬🇧.
Halfbread is better than none...2 lane roads are very dangerous... an easy head-on collision if someone is drunk or can't drive well. If there is also a breakdown, how will others drive past...minimum of 4 lanes should be the standard, but its better than having no lanes haha
Very terrible. It once happened to an electrician who was doing a changeover...my initial thought was...why don't these guys use gloves or protective wear but I was told that's what they do...he tested that there was no light on the wire...next thing, electrocution but thank God...the ladder feel, he grabbed on to the cement pole and slide down...and did fall straight down...rush to him with water, milk, medication and after some time to rest, he was fully ok. One of the tenants then drove to the market to get the gloves for him...and he completed the job.
The risk we take in Nigeria is all these things they can charge as part of their jobs, buy them, and use them. This is where Govt can come in...to enlighten and educate...but State Govs and LGs are usually useless. Their unions are jokes, too. Every time you read a load falling off a truck onto a car killing people...in a sane climate, if it happens once, regulations would be passed immediately. Since 2 years or so ago, I have read about 4 or 5 of such loads falling off trucks killing people. Nigeria, we hail thee.
I am sure he does, but he wants to throw another narrative out there. This is JAMB's responsibility...JAMB can sue the center for not following their protocols.
bendark000: Oloyede don't know the meaning of privacy breach. He should ask ndpc to explain it to him. JAMB is in serious trouble. Jamb cannot prove the boy got it from anywhere apart from their registration centre.
Jamb centres are acting on behalf of JAMB and JAMB Must take responsibility.
Major events happen in people's lives every 10yrs...these boys got their breakthrough, and within another decade...calamities befell them. When you are doing OK...never forget the source and plan for the future. They could have invested in things that would be sustaining them well now...think of the Egyptian famine...plan for the future during a time of plenty. If not successful, be diligent and Grace will find you.
GistMedia0: A concerned citizen recently reported an encounter with the infamous "Happie Boys" of Nigeria, revealing a stark contrast to their usual demeanor. The group, known for their flashy displays and extravagant lifestyles, was found engaging in what seemed to be a humbler activity - pricing bread on the streets.
High Schools in Ibadan has produced a lot of Giants...St. Patrick, Loyola, Ikolaba, Ibadan Grammar, Queens School, St Agnes, St Louis and my very own WESLEY School of Science. Trace most great men in Nigeria...and they will be tied to a legacy high school in Ibadan, Oyo State...the PACE Setter.
FreeStuffsNG: This is one of the most brilliant, hardworking and patriotic public servants in the Nigerian public transport sector.
He will do an excellent job at NIMASA! His legacies in LAMATA and the Lagos inter-modal transport system is visible to all.
I never knew he is a SPACO boy till today, shout out to my SPACO friends. You're doing well
Nigeria is in the hands of the best among the best among us and I am so happy.
Thank you Minister of Marine and Blue Economy for this meritorious appointment.
God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs!
Perfect plan...we will ship NIGER Foods from Niger State to all parts of the country, and we will also export to neighboring countries bringing in Forex.
Once in 10 yrs, major events will happen in your life...plan for it. If you are doing good, remain diligent..and God will find you. If you are successful, plan because a downturn will happen within 10yrs. Covid was this decade's calamity...some will have personal ones, work ones, family ones...how you survive these challenges will depend on you...some will be major growth and accomplishments...and you can have growth every decade. Plan for it...this is Kayode's own - a major breakthrough.
: “You Changed My Life”: Oyinbo Man Gives Nigerian Student N159 Million, New Car and Macbook Laptop
A Nigerian man is incredibly lucky because favour has found him after he went broke abroad. The man named Kayode was in the library reading when he was found by internet influencer, Zachery Dereniowski.
Zachery was touched when he learned that the man was unable to pay his tuition fees abroad and his house rent. But first, Zachery had begged the man for food, and the man did not waste any time to hand him a pack of food.
Moved by Kayode’s eagerness to give, Zachery handed him the sum of $1000. However, that was just the beginning of blessings for Kayode.
Zachery has returned with more goodies, gifting Kayode N159 million, a brand-new car and a MacBook laptop. The moment moved Kayode to tears of joy as he fell on the ground to thank Zachery and those who donated to make his life better.

wow...next time I come home...I will jejeli switch to Naija Netflix...it will save me $7 every month
BrandSpurNG: Netflix, the renowned streaming giant, has transformed the way we consume entertainment, providing a vast library of movies, TV shows, and documentaries at the touch of a button.
However, the cost of accessing this digital haven varies significantly from country to country, reflecting economic disparities and market dynamics.

Other wealthy countries like Denmark, Ireland, and the U.S. were in the top five most expensive countries for Netflix subscriptions, ranging from $16.46 to $15.49.
On the opposite side of the pendulum, Pakistan had the lowest Netflix subscription cost at $2.82 per month. It was followed by Türkiye at $3.38 and Argentina at $3.57.
Several factors influence the flux in pricing of Netflix subscriptions across different nations. These include:
Economic Factors: Netflix tailors its prices to align with the purchasing power of consumers in each market. Countries with higher average incomes typically bear higher subscription costs. Market Competition: The presence of strong local streaming services can exert downward pressure on Netflix prices, forcing it to adjust its offerings to remain competitive. Content Licensing: The cost of acquiring content rights varies across regions, influencing the overall pricing structure. Countries with higher licensing fees may experience higher subscription costs. Currency Fluctuations: Currency exchange rates can impact Netflix’s pricing model, leading to occasional adjustments or fluctuations in subscription costs. While affordability remains a primary concern for consumers, Netflix’s pricing strategy also aims to balance accessibility with content acquisition and profitability.
As the streaming industry continues to evolve, it will be interesting to observe how Netflix adapts its pricing model to maintain its global dominance while catering to the diverse needs and preferences of its audience.
Not sure you have seen the Russian nuclear warhead that splits into multiples ... F35 is sold to multiple countries so that's not the King of US arsenal...it's this...
Fineman2: Lol, f-35 is designed for such scenario man, it is a stealth fighter
The Govt can clear lands, build fences and allocate...I think it's a big risk to do open farming...even if cows don't eat it up, people can steal your produce unless you are in the middle of no where...I want to dabble into agriculture but my first plan is to erect a fence and CCTV with security...it's the cost of doing business. One must think of all possibilities and not take these types of risks. It might be Yoruba cattle...we will never know cos our people raise cows and hire fulanis too
DesChyko: A Nigerian shared a video of his plantain farm in Ikare Ekiti, which was allegedly overrun by Fulani Herdsmen. In the video, all the plantain trees have been brought down, with no fruits in sight.
Food inflation remains a problem in Nigeria, with a current rate of 36% food inflation year-on-year. With farmers unable to engage in farming, or see the produce of their efforts in harvest season, the situation is unlikely to improve.
With the government unable/unwilling to effectively combat the menace, it remains a persistent problem threatening the Nation's 200 million population.
Makes you wonder If these folks have a population agenda....why would they be running baby factory all over? It's a question worth contemplating. If the goal is to help those without children...why isn't it done through the legal process? Artificial insemination is real and legal...the whole thing is scary. If no one claims the babies, we just created more people without means to sustain them
How do they even determine if a currency is overvalued or undervalued? This seems like another slave-master theory. Countries can determine what is an equal value of what to what...why wait on a foreign company with biased interests.
Vanity upon Vanity. From the dust we come and unto dust we shall return. Do the best you can and leave a legacy.
One day we will either celebrate the man or lots more will come out that may tarnish his image. For now, in the story of the lion and the man, the man will always be victorious until the lion can write its own tale.

SOLUDO INSPECTS ONGOING/COMPLETED PROJECTS AT OKPOKO OGBARU AND NIGER STREET FEGGE
Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo on Wednesday, March 5t , 2024 during his routine project inspection visited Obodoukwu Road Okpoko, Coke market Ogbaru Local Government Area and Niger Street, Fegge, Onitsha South LGA.
Obodoukwu Road: He commended the new Construction Company handling the Obodoukwu Road project for their steadfast and swift work which indicates the project will be delivered at record time.
He reiterate his resolve to transforming Okpoko from a slum to an enviable habitat.
Coke Market: Soludo who had initiated talks between government representatives and displaced Coke Market earlier promised them the market could be opened if the traders will play their part.
Having fulfilled his promise to restore the traders back to the market, Mr Governor urged them to ensure they keep the market environment clean as his government is committed to sustaining clean, prosperous, livable, and secured Anambra.
Niger Street: Mr Governor commended the people to take responsibility and protect or report damages to any government projects done in their neighborhood.
He added that the government will consider building barricades that will prevent sand miner’s heavy trucks that have damaged the road access to the road.
He further highlighted that traders are henceforth prohibited from shading their wares on the sidewalks made for pedestrians.
Looks like a photoshop picture to me. The President is not even looking at him, so that looks very very very weird and impossible.
NairaOcean: Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago, was seen kneeling to greet President Tinubu during a visit to the Presidential Villa earlier today, March 7.
The unusual display of deference by Governor Bago, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has drawn both praise and criticism from various quarters. Picture of the moment quickly went viral on social media platforms, with many Nigerians expressing differing opinions on the act.
But there is a problem....Wigwe is the CEO, and the Wife owns the Construction company that received the loan...that means there is conflict of interest, which also mean that she will have privileged information that can allow her to get loans not accessible to others, and he can also tell her how to beat the system. Now Imagine is the road was not constructed well, and Abia fails to pay for them for any reason...the husband can always cover the whole thing, so nothing is open to the public. You talked about credit worthiness...do you know how many loans were never paid back and still owed to the bank? They were found to be credit worthy too...they can then file bankruptcy. Who knows if the draw down helped built the massive house? There are so many things wrong with this, and I find if unfortunate that you do not only see this, but lots of Nigerians like and agree with your submission.
TINTINABULATION: There is nothing so special here until we are privy to the Memorandum of Understanding between Abia State Government & Cranburg Construction. That is the document that will list all the roads to be constructed with the money. There is no law forbidding a private organization, such as Cranburg to approach its bankers for facility to execute a contract. If Access Bank finds her customer, Cranburg Construction credit worthy, then public opinion holds no sway
Nigerian govt, major manufacturers agree on cement price "Certain issues including smuggling, bad roads, high energy costs, and the forex crisis caused the high price but manufacturers have expressed their readiness to bring down the prices in future," an official said. ByMary Izuaka February 20, 2024 Reading Time: 2 mins read
Major cement manufacturers in Nigeria, Dangote, BUA and Lafarge have agreed that the price of a bag of cement will not exceed between N7,000 and N8,000.
The resolution was reached following a meeting between the Minister of Works, David Umahi, the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Doris Uzoka-Anite as well as representatives of BUA Cement, Dangote Cement, Lafarge and Cement Producers Association on Monday.
The recent development follows the increase in prices of cement in the country reaching as high as N13,000 in some cement retail shops in Abuja.
According to a communique issued after the meeting, Mr Umahi said the cement manufacturers admitted the high prices in some parts of the country while noting that the retail price should not cost more than N8,000 per 50kg bag of cement.
Looks like the person that called the Police set them up. They need backup for backup when they respond to issues like this...let the drones go first. We need to be better as a Police Force.
Nigerian Politicians ...all we hear is the problem. America has its own problems but you don't hear every problems every day. Think of solutions ...if folks are dumping stuff they should not...install CCTV and watch it 24-7. We should solve problems not complain about it. When I was told some people were always disturbing a community in Ibadan...I installed gates on both sides...now they lock the gates at 11pm and open at 5am with security contributions paid by all the houses. This will go a long way...waiting for these govt to do anything is like waiting on heaven to come down. We must all work together to find solutions to our own problems.
Testiebobo: We are all surviving, we are not living in this countrrrrry. Congratulations! To myself because I guess I will have to scrape away lunch for a while until this tribulation is over. Afterall, 1 cup of garri is N300 in my area without groundnut and sugar calculations. What about you?
no but the inverter can be charged at home with electricity, generator or with solar. At the worst, the money made from the charging station can offset the cost of PMS to power generator if properly managed. You wont be using the inverter for other stuff. With time, you will have 2 or 3 backup inverters so when there are no light for a long period, you increase price at the charging stations from N100 to N150
Love800: Is it everytime the solar will have power to charge phones?
Since he refused to do the roads, at least he will complete a hotel he can stay in from Lagos after his administration lol. Hotel that wont be affordable to an average Nigerian. What an investment..why not agriculture? We are just not productive and this is PDP, Peter Obi's former party lol

Charging Station with Solar N300-400K, then open POS business for N50k-N100k. You need 2 streams of income.
If you can charge N100 to charge and get 10 customers a day....that's N30k per month. Good POS business can generate another N10k. That is 8% ROI per month almost 100% ROI per year. Good luck...only venture into Agriculture if you know what you are doing. Do not depend on others by turning over your hard earned cash
I need your opinion on what business I can start with 500k. I have someone willing to assist me with that amount because my current job is both mentally and physically exhausting. However, the person wants me to explain how I will use the money and what business I will pursue. I have until the end of the month to provide a plan.
I was thinking of starting a printing business and also selling phone accessories since I live in a student-dominated area with a polytechnic nearby. However, I'm concerned about the potential downturn when students go on holiday, leaving the area empty. The economy is also not favorable. I'm open to suggestions. Thanks.
Took Norse from US to UK...Nice plane but they don't serve food, you pay for each of your luggage and pay for food on the flight or you can buy in advance. No media or movies but then again who needs all that... I just want to get to my destination and sleep well on the way there Lol. They operate out of Gatwick so this makes a lot of sense.
