We don't have journalists. We have activists, and we will suffer for it. Obama used teleprompters. This is unbecoming and unprofessional. Did he use teleprompters while speaking to BBC? I don't know how good people would want to run for elections if our journalists are acting like this.
The journalist Jaafar S. Jaafar shared the photo on his Twitter account with the caption: Source: https://twitter.com/JaafarSJaafar/status/1600061778406256640?t=kkO5uqnOQ1lWbmB_BJPuNA&s=19
|
Not many people realized he called someone from the North (Kaduna), South West (Yoruba), and South-South....these are his strongholds. While some worry about why he called or didn't call, Tinubu is sending a message of unity, a man that can assemble a team that represents Nigeria and someone who trusts his guys on day one to deliver. Since Nigerians are not used to systems and teams, it is important to start educating you all. Tinubu has several town hall meetings where he answered questions. Go and Watch them. We need someone that can create systems and teams and break down the concentration of powers at the center. What you don't need is a one-man power broker. May the best man win...and by the way, even when Biden is answering questions, they still have tons of people working for him on specific policies. If you don't like his style, don't vote for him...millions will. God bless Nigeria quote author=wirinet post=118934759] Comparing agbalumo to oranges. A sitting president delegates questions to those in charge of the subject matter, and not a candidate who the electorates want to hear his personal ideas. The covid team who are doctors will answer questions relating to covid. Elon Musk is a private businessman, even at that Elon does most of his publicity and unvailing of his products. He is the one that answers questions and gives interviews.
|

When the US President does press conferences, they sometimes delegate Army Chief of Staff, Intelligence, or others to speak specifically to certain issues. As a matter of fact, they get briefings, but most of the collations are done by others. What we lack in Nigeria is systems and teams. Sadly, most Nigerians screaming they want to be like the WEST have no idea how the West system truly works. How does Elon Musk run multiple companies with thousands of staff? Even the Oracle of Omaha in his 80s still runs his company, the most expensive stock in the World....its called systems and teams.
Tinubu said: “Let me demonstrate here one of those philosophies and doctrines that I believe firmly in, it is team-ship, unbreakable team. To demonstrate that, I’ll assign it to my team.” On education, Tinubu promised to provide student loans and reform the Almajiri educational system practiced in northern Nigeria. El-Rufai who answered questions on security, stated that banditry, terrorism, separatism, and oil theft require a new approach including increasing the number of security operatives. “The numbers must change and the Bola Tinubu administration already has a blueprint which is embedded in our action plan to address this. We will scale up the numbers of the armed forces. We’ll ramp up not only the numbers but the training and the equipment,” the Kaduna governor said. PDP. Comprising of Atiku and his boy boy Obi Pandora should simply shut up their corrupt mouth. They were in the same political party that ran this nation down for 16 wasted years. Both of them combined together can NEVER stand Tinubu based on Achievements and Leadership, all sane, honest and hardworking Nigerians know so. We cannot give our country back to some animals that called our darling nation a zoo for almost 8 years, but now they are trying to tell us they love our nation more than us. Nonentities and low-lives everywhere.
|

A word is enough for the wise. |
It will happen this year. This I have seen Lol iwadae: |
All I hear is conspiracies. You claim Mrs. Remi is not a Pastor or a disgrace to RCCG....did RCCG rebuke or disown her? So you are the judge and the executioner. 2nd, you said she is a juju person...do you realize her roots trace back to Delta, the home state of your running make, Okowa? Then you claim Shettima is pro-Boko Haram, yet they wanted to kill him, and he rebuilt churches in his state that were demolished. Now unto Atiku, you talk as if Atiku did not govern. He was the Vice President of Nigeria for 8yrs. We know what he did, so trying to put lipstick on a pig won't change that fact. Atiku even has properties or property in Lagos. How is Adamawa? He was a Gov for a bit...and since he left, what has changed? You can't give what you don't have. If you want us to vote for Atiku because it's the turn of the North...stick to that but when it comes to competence and delivery, we can't vote for him because he has shown not to be either. SlavaUkraini: |
While some of your submissions might be understandable, I won't mind a woman guiding a man as a President in Mrs. Remi Tinubu. The notion that she is power-hungry is typical of men that see confident, successful, and powerful women as threats. We don't use such for men. Shettima was a very good governor; you can read his past awards and achievements. Power shifting to the South makes more sense for Nigerians than the stuck-on Religion. If anything, by your submission, Mrs. Remi will head the cabal and she is a Christian Pastor, so there you have it. We know Okowa will be the second fiddle, and so we will have another Fulani Muslim from the North taking the Presidency from another Fulani Muslim from the North. How is that for your equity, fairness, and justice? I think not. Atiku was also terrible at privatization. He has 8 yrs, and the contracts were so bad that they could not undo some of them when Buhari came in. GenCos and DisCos. Go and read about the $16 billion spent on electricity and the terms of the contracts. I am not sure he is knowledgeable to guide against chronic capitalism. You said some institutions need to be in private hands...which ones and why? I believe in leasing them under terms that are favorable to Nigerians. SlavaUkraini: |
You dont need to insult, but there are 2 reasons why Atiku would be bad for Nigeria. 1. He wants to privatize everything without regard to chronic capitalism...that was what happened with the Electricity privatization. 2. The country might not be in a great state if a Fulani man follows another Fulani man...agitations might really expand...and he would need force to compel or give in. Both options are not ideal. Even a weak Tinubu and a strong former Gov like Shettima gives me a peace of mind that we can remain ONE Nigeria. Still, Tinubu needs to create teams and does not need to do the hard work. That is true governance. How much work does Joe Biden really do Lol SlavaUkraini: |
Tinubu-Shettima is supported by lots of successful people, home and abroad. I know it confuses people like you but some of us never got a govt contract or loot but we believe in good governance and technology. Obi can't govern without credibility in the North. He will have to do their bidding to earn their credibility. Some SW leaders want to force him to restructure which is why they are supporting him. He can't do that without congress...we might just have a chaotic administration on our hands with emboldened obidient supporters. A vote for Tinubu is a vote for a man that allowed a woman to become Deputy Gov, Igbos and Hausas to serve in Govt based on competence. That is a vote that represent ONE Nigeria. SlavaUkraini: |
no investigative journalism..you will hear something like PDP said 90% of Lagos roads were built by the military. Why can't they as a media verify and fact check. This is why I always say that our media is complicit in creating ignorant citizenry. We are truly in trouble. sonature1: |
He who can tweet to defame should be made to provide proof in a court of law. We must stop normalizing bad behavior lest we will NOT have a decent country soon. People should not be able to defame and destroy people's good names by claiming freedom of speech. If you must defame, be ready to defend. I see a scenario where he would be released based on technicalities that he was assaulted, which violates his human right, and you must come to court with clean hands to seek justice. |
This is one of the eye-opening pushbacks that inexperienced politicians will be confronted with. We DO NOT run a dictatorial form of government. You negotiate and follow the law to get things done. Gov. Adeleke's use of force might soon meet its waterloo in court. |
RECORD Breaking FUNDRAISING about to COMMENCE. The plan is to show that millions support Tinubu and will donate massively. Be ready to be WOWed, in my opinion |
I am lost here...You are start? governor? Please work on your spelling and English language before throwing stones while living in a glass house. I have nothing against Wike. I actually love his openness, but I do foresee people like Prince Nwoko going after him after his tenure ends. tonididdy: |
Center of angry black men without the decency to speak to people without insulting them. Where have we gone wrong in this country? I will keep praying for you, Sir. By the way, it's deity, not diety. We are in trouble in Nigeria. MufasaLion: |
diety bawo. If you have never experienced the power of God, claim ignorance and be quiet or seek it out objectively. I have had some experiences that is beyond a doubt the presence of God. Is it western or our local...even our forefathers before coloniazation believed in the essence of God....study the British invaders, they also believe in Valhalla and make sacrifices. MufasaLion: |
Since you know so much about the court, maybe you can speak to all those that were acquitted...did they spend money on lawyers and did it disrupt their lives? Think...it's not about right or wrong...it's about teaching the person a lesson. I shouldn't have to explain all of these. tonididdy: |
another angry fellow. I know people like you trying to get the last word. The Lion does not care about the opinion of the sheep. Keep blabbing...we know those of you that have no desire to contribute to humanity trying to speak ill of others. I don't need any market...the same reason I refuse to mention its name lol. Dumb dumb maruzia: |
The people are the problem. I told everyone he should have won and he would probably still win due to overvoting issues and fraud college documents presented to INEC. God bless true leaders. ALTERNATEID: |
Do you realize the NGO was featured on because this year? Anyways, I have sent her the information that she needs. She is not ignorant and she will do the needful to verify. "Seek ye the truth and sell it not." We move candyhouse: |
I am not talking about anything. 1hr in Politics is like a lifetime. Once he does his handing over, anything charges can be filled. There is already a talk about some children that died at the hospital. Some people can go after you just to force you to spend tons of money in courts with the goal to bankrupt. Anyways, we will keep watching the movie. tonididdy: |
VERY FUNNY PEOPLE. Then again, scams are quite peculiar in Nigeria. Sorry not here...try again. I report scammers to EFCC. They are nuisances. candyhouse: |
You need to respond so we can connect then I will send you the NGO email address. Bintdawood: |
I've sent you a personal message. We don't have a Kano chapter...but we would be open to one. Talk to you soon. Bintdawood: |
Before people blame Buhari.. go and find out who signed the contract. The same people are playing saints today. Ned Nwoko, the lead consultant for the recovery of over deductions from Paris and London clubs debt buyback funds, says his firm was being owed $68 million, not $418 million. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Mr Nwoko was reacting to the flurry of allegations and claims trailing his company’s demand for the payment of fees from the accounts of state governments and local government councils in the country, on Saturday in Abuja. The Lead Consultant of Linas International frowned at the recent outbursts of the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF), Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti, regarding the Paris Club refund. The Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, had featured at the weekly briefings coordinated by the Presidential Media Team, on August 11, where he spoke extensively on issues surrounding the refund, He stated that there was no basis for agitation by the NGF concerning deductions from the Paris Club refund paid to the consultants they hired. Moh247: |
I hope Wike can trust his new Governor cos he will need all the help he can get once the immunity is over. Our Elites don't forget easily. Lots of people will be waiting for the day after handing over. Governance in Nigeria is bad not because of the leaders but because of the people. Wike is a blunt man that often speaks the truth, but that won't make you friends even among immediate family. Wisdom is profitable to direct. GLeesMODEL: |
