You do a business to pass time, not a job. No employer wld employ someone who wants to pass time in his organisation. Mind what you say publicly, it may work against you somehow.

@chijen, there's an opening in my aunt's foundation, for the post of a bursar. Your accounting knowledge would be an advantage. The foundation is located in wuse zone 1, and an outreach along Abuja-keffi road.

One fact is that Abuja is an Administrative city. It's not as highly commercial as Lagos.

80% of people working in Abuja are public office workers(govt jobs). Now getting a public office job is like walking on a line with one leg. It's not easy at all.

Well, apart from the fast growing banking sector in the capital city, another growing sector is Education. Private entrepreneurs have taken charge of basic and secondary education. There are fast growing private schools, thus the demand for teaching staff is high.

Job seekers should try to run a short post graduate programme in Education, to gain basic TP knowledge, and harness this growing sector.

Look on the bright side, at least you didn't lose your money to theft. You spent it solving other people's problem. Do you know what it makes you? A HERO!

Yea! Wolves are loyal and faithful beasts. The alpha male and the alpha females mate for life, unless one is killed by a large prey like the moose, or by another bigger predator like the grizzly bear, then the other wolves wld fight to earn his or her position. But if the other male wolves are related to her by blood(sons), she would never allow anyone of the sons who wants to succeed the late alpha male wolf, to mate with her, until an outside male, who is strong enough to lead the pack comes to entice her. The alpha female's urine contains a hormone that suppresses the fertility of other female wolves in the pack, rendering them sterile. The alpha male wolf exerts his authority by regularly bullying the younger male wolves into submission.

What I like about the wolves is the way they hunt. Unlike the lions that stalk and ambush their prey, the wolves announce their presence to the prey, letting it know their intention. They wld chase down the prey for several kilometers till the prey wears out. When they finally catch up with it, it's dinner time!

But I love lions a lot. The male lion is designed for two purposes: to mate and to fight. The roar of a lion is dreadful. It can be heard 5km away. The wolf is principled, the lion is ruthless. After a take over(when a younger and stronger male lion(s) take over the pride), they kill all the cubs. This is to ensure the mothers quickly come into heat/estrus, for mating. It may seem cruel, but that's how it is in the lion society. The male mate as quickly as it can, so the expectant cubs can grow under his protection, within the limited time he has to own the pride.

The reason why JAMB is upgrading the scores of candidates is becos most candidates scored very low, and won't be shortlisted for the post-utme test in their respective institutions. The institutions have secretly queried JAMB. Thus, JAMB is upgrading to meet the demands of the institutions, who are particular about making hundreds of millions of naira from respective candidates thru the post utme test.

I bumped into this thread accidentally, and I couldn't help but notice your misconception. In your second statement, you ruled out teaching as a dream job. Do you realise teaching is a professional field? Teaching isn't a profession you fall back to as a palliative. I know a lady who earns N350,000 monthly as a head teacher. How many bankers, or accountants earn that much?

I wrote my exam on 27th Feb. so this morning I saw an alert from Jamb telling me that my score is 161.
meanwhile I am sure what I wrote that dat shii can not be my score.
now to the whole truth.. teachers of the subjects I sat for were the ones who helped and answered all of the questions.. I also croschecked the ones I knew especially biology, and it was all the correct answers.
now only for Jamb to send me161.. I have gone online to check it but it seems that their portal isn't yet opened..
so who has had this experience before.. and can this be a sort of mistakes or what?
