kingthreat:Since you're obviously not very smart, if Buhari and Udom did their jobs properly, won't she have been gainfully employed somewhere? given our current unemployment statistics. Also, insecurity all over the country is also a big factor |
I'm sure satan must be waiting for our leaders to quickly finish their session of making our lives very difficult everyday to apportion them their appropriate eternal punishment. The poor, innocent girl has done nothing but aspire to make a better life for herself. Obviously, she's been failed by the system of corruption in the country. I pray she's found alive and in good shape. |
Igbos are naturally greedy when it comes to prices of essential commodities. How can you be selling a bag of pure water for 150 and above in this Buhari next level regime? Something that people will come back in two days to buy! Here in Abuja, we still buy pure water for 120 per bag |
Why not let them stop dying senselessly in the first place? How much easier it is to light a candle than curse darkness. Shame. it's unpatriotic to let Nigerians see the wanton deaths and destruction their friends and family members are facing on the battlefield |
We are cursed with Zombie leadership around here. The few minutes I tuned into the virtual conference, Buhari was saying his administration is trying very hard to mitigate the situation. The other African president was sounding more realistic and engaging... Instead of our old man to kneel down and beg the Americans that he obviously has no control again... We keep recording random killings daily in several states at once but man seems relaxed. It wasn't this bad during Jonathan's regime. At least killings were one dimensional and predictable. |
That Queen self, her overdo too much. Person don become the longest reigning monarch in history, yet she never tire. Blessed with long life, (her beloved husband lived to be 99) wealth and every other thing she desires, she doesn't think it's high time to bow out of all responsibilities and retire to a private life of sipping tea ,knitting socks/ cardigans and baking pies like all English grandmother's do? Even the prince charles has grown old, waiting on her already. |
bubbleskid:Your specifications are not clearly stated. Are you looking for a marketing executive or a security personnel? Because I doubt if any marketing executive ever would have worked in a security role... |
frank800:location? please drop a number, let's discuss |
We should all devote our attention to the news of the Indonesian Submarine that has recently been found with no assumed survivors. Let's pray for their souls. Meanwhile, I'm sure there was no killing in Katsina. |
Please Seun, for the sake of sanity, keep reports of desolation of Northern states through acts of banditry and terrorism away from Nairaland frontpage. Reason because the current evil regime is very quick to pamper and forgive terrorists than do all it takes to secure it's citizens. I only pity the young men and women of the armed forces who are the casualties in this fight. |
planetx:That's another perspective. It's far more easier to fight a third world war these days biologically than with weapons of mass destruction which advanced countries will outshine themselves over. Meanwhile, the government of India in a way, failed her citizens. How can you have the wherewithal to produce vaccines and not ensure your dense population get attention first? Some countries have vaccinated a good percentage of their citizens already, hence not affected by this third wave |
No hate, but why is President Buhari sitting down on a chair in the mosque? Even the Imam appears to be sitting on the floor. I thought Muslims believe in equality? |
I don't think the queen has more than 3 years on before she Kpeme... The death of her husband will really weaken her. She's had everything anyone would ever want in life. Being the longest reigning monarch on earth, money, jwelleries, power beyond her imagination... I wonder why the British obsession with royalty is as similar as our obsession with religion back home in Africa. |
How much dumber can these people get? Like the NIN is going to be the Midas touch in digital database and identity management in Nigeria. Ok, the Imo jailbreak, where we have facial pictures and biometrics available, and I'm not talking about blurry images fa! High definition pictures of escaped prisoners, how many have you caught? Not to talk of terrorists that get funded from Arabian nations, they will now walk into your office and register their sims, then start communicating their missions in English. The allegations against this minister is very serious. In a sane country, he would have resigned barely 24hrs after he was accused |
Bros, relax yourself. No one is coming to break down your door because of 11,600. Highest, they send your name to Nigerian Credit Bureau as a loan defaulter.(It might affect your chances of traveling out though, as they check these things) They forcefully deduct the money from the account you linked with them whenever money enters and they blacklist you from borrowing from their app. Every Nigerian is already a debtor under Buhari. Moreso, we are all still trying to recover from the financial mess of COVID. There is nothing coming from the sky that earth won't be able to contain. |
plaindealer:you are obviously short sighted. It often starts from one tiny side kiosk in Ghana. Before you know it, the climate begins to become more attractive to blue chip companies and multinationals around the world. Let me help your mediocrity abit. Ghana is West Africa's aviation hub. She is bordered by Togo, which is West Africa's maritime hub. They don't have herdsmen, unknown gunmen and other factors like Adamu Garba, Lai Mohammed, etc. They have steady light. Best of it all, there is no Buhari, who can go to London and rest anytime he wishes, while impoverishing the rest of us with China loans What more factor is not there to make them poised to take the developmental quantum leap? |
bros na only water dey inside that fridge so? No Chicken, marshmallow, ice cream and other stuffs oyinbo made fridge for, or even fresh Ogbono and Egusi soup? ![]() |
seguno2:Once you recieve your usual 30k monthly and 500mb , you intensify efforts at redeeming the image of your taskmasters. One can see your PDP/Seyi Makinde sentimental attachments through your previous posts. Apparently you're the one that needs Google skills, but I guess it's way beyond what your 500mb data can carry! |
Nigerian governors with their mediocre ideas... What is the whole idea of this in the first place? Civil servants that are looking for car loans, you're preaching them bicycles, Yoruba for that matter, Yorubas generally don't have a bicycle culture. Instead of piloting the project with select Secondary School students in the capital, if it is really important to adopt a bicycle culture in Oyo State, is there that much traffic? Meanwhile, is that not the state they introduced Opon Imo? how far with the flamboyant project? So much emotion laden projects with fantastic names... I have recently visited Akwa Ibom State after 8 years and I'm disappointed how retrogressive things have become. There is no light in both the Capital and other places I visited. Almost everyone have become a petty trader, selling one or two things to make ends meet. So much poverty out here, yet, tallest state skyscaper and worship center construction is ongoing. To which end will development swing with these kinds of projects? The good people of Nigeria don't deserve these kinds of evil rulers. *sigh |
ablejesus26:hypocrites everywhere! yet you see them with spiritual titles and they occupy the front seat in Churches and Mosques... Jesus and The Prophet Muhammad advocated that we treat the lowest ones amongst us with dignity. The former even said that He would disguise as a begger to get attention No wonder the sad state of our country today originated from how we treat the prisoners, beggers and less privileged. |
Be decieving yourself with jumped up internet statistics/ beer parlour analysis. The North has more intellectuals than the south. It's not by quota system bro. You actually study long enough to get at it. We can all agree that you have farming lands, but which other region is cursed with fertile lands and sufficient rainfall? How far, the food blockage you guys attempted the other day, how did it later turn out? You could see how we all came begging on our knees. Let's leave mata for Mathias... |
where is this fake news coming from? It's impossible for water to be scarce on Abuja. There are mai ruwas all around the surbubs begging to deliver water from bore holes every morning. Highest per truck in any location is 300. Infact, they have even cheated the person self, cos is usually 250 for for full truck |
sweetgala:That's interesting to know. They have been operational for a while now in Abuja. In fact, AUMTCO buses won't let you board without it. Just that they refill theirs manually via a terminal at the bus stops. It helps curb corruption of funds remittances to the bus providers down here basically, just like electricity prepaid meters |
sulaak:Have you forgotten that the fourth mainland bridge that will link Lekki with Ikorodu is being planned? Ikorodu is going to share in the prosperity of Lagos through this project And of course, straight to Ibadan, where the dry port would have been operational. |
BlueSparks:You're being myopic. Please If you guys want to sell your property, let me know. A refinery being built in the 21st century isn't going to be like the existing ones in Port Harcourt that they now need trillions to maintain. There are now equipments that capture smoke and toxins and release almost harmless gases as exhaust. I'm sure Dangote would spare no expense in this critical project. Real estate in the vicinity of the refinery is going to be the real hot cake in some few years. Oh and Op, Lagos has the market already. It's the first thing to succeed in business. Build where the market is. And you forgot the deep seaport in view, acess to global market. What else do you want again? |
If na me ehn, before them go code, I go don japa on the next available flight to Nigeria. To start a new life and all... Having to endure the hardship under our government can never be compared with the aftereffects of this Bruhaha |
Nigerians are all mini gods these days. There is no mercy for their souls. Let's learn to take it easy oo... No one gets out of this life alive. Granted, they defrauded people but condemning them in death should not be anyone's happiness. Let's not learn to play God! |
mygeeZ:You can imagine... someone got assistance up to 400level of his university education from the Church and he turns back to make an accusation against a priest who decides that he needs to stop being a freeloader. I'm sure that even if he eventually finishes and didn't get a job, he would have come through another angle to attack the priest. This entitlement mentality of Nigerians need to stop! |
Has there been any instance where this MURIC of an association ever done something uplifting to the populace or even their own sect before? Have they empowered a group of young, unemployed Muslims? Have they supported a muslim orphanage or even think of building something as basic as a manual borehole for a mosque? Because I am 1000% sure they cannot render help to Christians. How can an organization exist with no useful benefit to themselves even, except reacting violently to issues that concern them, no matter whose horse is gored. |
This hijab controversy may perhaps snowball into something much more serious, like the END SARS in a short while, as sleepy Buhari looks on. We've not forgotten how cartoons drawn on paper in Europe led to loss of lives and properties of Christians in Northern Nigeria, not to talk of their signature cloth, that every true muslim is mandated to enforce. I'm sure our northern "brothers" are currently meeting over this issue and are preparing their aggressive tactics in reaction. I'll be back to this post later. 7:50am, Thursday, March 19, 2021. |
Hope you have permission to fly a drone in Nigeria though, cos if I were the thief, I will counter sue you for infringement on my privacy with illegal technology. Good efforts though! |
caporia:When Miyetti Allah, Sheik Gumi, Adamu Garba and the likes of PMB are their go-to persons, are you expecting any sort of miracle? What do you even want to start up in the north before? How to educate young girls with touch screen devices? |
